Everybody at Village ski and snowboard is always so friendly, helpful and efficient. We have been buying our ski’s, boots and snow apparel here for years and have always been very happy. All the staff work well together and they are great helping kids get fitted for their gear. They do a great job with tune ups too!

Not impressed at all. I went in to inquire about being sized for skii boot and it seemed like i was a bother and they seemed annoyed that i wasnt walking out that moment with skii boots. Very short snd not friendly.

Bought some badly needed new alpine boots yesterday. Greg spent quite of bit time fitting boots for me. Did a great job of explaining various boot technology. Great fit. Nice shop.

A ski and board shop you can trust. The prices are competitive and the staff are awesome. Weve been getting gear here since our kids were barely able to walk in their boots. As the kids have grown, weve found our way back every season for one upgrade or another... ten years and counting.

Great service and very knowledgeable

Eric seemed nice at first but tried to coerce me into buying boots I didn’t like just to make a sale. Villages options for women’s snowboard boots was extremely limited and Eric was unable to assist me beyond the one pair- unsure if that is due to their lack of inventory or if they’re trained to push the more expensive product. Trying on boots while someone stares at you and forces you to make a decision on the spot is not an enjoyable experience and ultimately stressed me out. Their return policy is useless: 7-day refund minus a [unwanted] boot fitting fee and the restocking fee. I regret my purchase but the fees make it too expensive to return. I wanted to shop local but now remember why I have avoided this place for the past 10 years; maybe I’ll try again in another decade.

Top notch service! My girlfriend and I drove up from CT to take a look at boots and some other equipment. As soon as we found our way over to the snowboard boots area we were greeted by Greg and he instantly started assisting us with our interest in boots. My girlfriend had been experiencing issues with her current set of boots and we couldnt figure out what the issue was. After explaining to Greg the issue and showing him her current set of boots he took measurements of her feet and selected a few boots to try on and sat down and helped adjust them to a perfect fitment. While there I also decided to try on some boots, I had already picked a couple boots I was interested in. Having been around snowboarding for years and owning a couple different sets of boots I thought I knew what size I would need but we still took measurements of my feet and Greg determined I was actually in need of a smaller size as well and grabbed the boots I was interested in in the sizes for my measurements. I ended up trying them all on and selecting a new pair of boots for myself as well. Even as the store got busy Greg did a great job of tending to us and answering all of our questions while assisting multiple other customers when approached. Top notch service and great selection of equipment. While we spent the majority of our time with Greg, we could over hear other staff members assisting customers and they all seem super knowledgeable and have a love for snow sports. Highly recommended.

Great staff not trying to over sell but always working to help you choose the equipment that will let you enjoy the slopes. They are enthusiasts themselves and take their time to get the grandkids fitted and happy. Family owned and run, have a very helpful staff, worth the wait when they get busy as they will give you the same time to help you make the right choices.This is an update as last year during Covid not much happened for us skiing locally. This year we are back at Village Ski and Snowboard to refit the grandkids and see what was new and improved for us! Stopped by to quickly get a rental on the way to Loon. Service was efficient and knowledgeable and they even gave us tips to reduce costs. Cost was 1/2 of what slope side charges and quality was better ! Returns were just as easy. Overall a very good experience!

Really good customer service. They will spend time with you to make sure you get the correct skis for your size and ability. Pricing is not bad either. Bought my first pair of skis, bindings, boots, poles and socks for $770

I always avoided this place because I assume anything in Franklin is going to be too expensive. It actually wasnt bad! I got 3 pairs of skis tuned up, and had 1 of the bindings re-mounted for around $200. Even if that sounds pricey, the service was above and beyond amazing! Everyone in there was so helpful and knowledgeable. I have already recommended this place to several people!

Came in to get skis, boots, and poles and Keith was awesome in explaining to me what to get for my skillset and what I want to accomplish in the future with skiing. Takes his time with you to fully understand what youre looking to get. Highly recommend this shop for any and all ski/snowboard needs.

I was looking to purchase a package and hadn’t owned my own equipment for a long time. The gentlemen helping me asked me questions to provide the best equipment for My comfortable intermediate level of skiing. The boots were tricky and they spent at least 45 mins with me making sure I was comfortable and confident. I highly recommend Village Ski and Snowboard for the beginner to expert!!

Great ski shop. They have an excellent but back program for kids skis. They also do a great job with tune ups. Not a cheap place but worth the cost.

Moved to the area about a year or so ago and have been to this shop a lot. The staff is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They do their best to accommodate all customers, especially when busy. All of the gear and services purchased here have been awesome. The past snowboarding season was definitely improved by coming into this shop with questions and gear needs. No more aches and pains while snowboarding for me (minus getting tired). I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area!

Great local ski and snowboard shop. Got all 3 boards tuned up and got good advice on in between maintenance without feeling like I was just trying to be sold something.

They took around 3 hours to fit ski boots for 3 people. They took the time to make sure everything felt perfect, and even explained how they would customize everything.Definitely made shopping for boots and skiing accessories for beginners as simple as possible.

Over-priced + staff tries to get you to buy more things at once because it’s “easier” and “makes sense”. Won’t assist you unless you’re looking to purchase something on the spot. Basically, you play by their rules lol. If you know what you’re doing/getting yourself into, do yourself a favor and don’t go here.

The salesman out back was quality. Got my 11yo gear for a decent price. The cashier rung up the prices wrong, to the tune of 600+.thankfully it was so over the top I caught it. I have since posted in Facebook and heard many people have had the same experience. Not good. I tried to return goggles the next day, found my old pair, manager told me I could only get store credit. I asked if anything was refundable. He said the skis. I said put the goggle credit towards the skis and refund me the ski money then. He was baffled by the idea, got flustered and argumentative, even called over an elderly manager to give me a hard time. Im a business owner, I know exceptions can be made and customer happiness is number one. They should never argue with a customer, their fragile egos get in the way. If the guy out back ran us through the whole process, barring ringing us up wrong, this place would get a 4.

This shop is the best in the area for ski equipment, fitting, and tune-ups. Very busy in season, so count on a few days wait for them to finish work.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere, nevermind a ski shop. Spent 600+ on boots, a helmet, and putting bindings on my skis to hear the customer service reps talking crap about me when I returned. So if you like being talked about behind your back and then talked down to by the staff this is the place for you! I would have returned everything if I didnt need it for the next day...

Very rude staff, would have walked out if it wasnt for snowboard tech in the back. Hidden costs after confirming final cost at drop off. Staff at cash register were very inattentive to customers waiting and very condescending. I am not one to write reviews and I felt compelled to write this review. Good luck running a seasonal business while treating your customers the way you do.
