Where do I start? When you first walk in, youre greeted by a host of amiable employees who genuinely care about their job and you, rather than sales or money. I worked with John, who was very helpful, spending a considerable amount of time with me to go over what I needed. Even if you dont end up finding any deals (most prices are up there), you will LOVE wandering around admiring their varied, fantastic selection. Despite the stores small size, I will have to come back because I literally couldnt look at everything. :)

The best outfitters that Ive been to in a while. They have all of the basic necessities of backpacking (which is what I do).The staff is very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend this outfitters to all hiking and backpacking enthusiasts.

I was very pleased when I discovered Mountain High Outfitters in Franklin. As an avid backpacker, they had all of the gear I like. I was even more pleased when I experienced their service. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to help. Its refreshing to see great customer service. I would recommend them to others and I will definitely be back.

Very nice store with lots of Gucci equivalent outdoor clothing & gear. I wanted light weight winter gloves and looked all over to find none. No problem but I was never asked once if I needed any help but was sure given a bye when I left.

I stumbled across this place on the way to Three Dog Bakery, and its awesome! There is a ton of stuff packed in here. The staff is super helpful, friendly and if they dont know the answer they will find someone who does. You can rent gear including Osprey backpacks, which is fabulous. Prices are a little steep, but I will be back.

Went above and beyond my expectations!!! Were very helpful and friendly from the time we walked in the door. Very professional staff that offered to order anything that they didnt have in stock. Were patient and able to get all of the items my boyfriend was looking for and even helped to fine me the perfect pair of sunglasses!We will definitely be back!! Come visit the store. A lot better customer service than REI will very provide!!

Best customer service I have had in an outdoor store anywhere

Visited this place with my brother who needed to use a gift certificate. They have lots of great merchandise crammed into a small space. Most of it seemed a little pricey for me. Definitely great for someone who spends a lot if time in colder/higher altitude climates than Middle Tennessee. My kids had fun rubbing all the fleece and puffy coats and shocking each other. ;)

Great service - - friendly and helpful discussion of the products. I was impressed by the quality in the merchandise that is carried and the prices seem to be reasonable as well. I also love the location since it is easy to get to during lunch hours.

Love, Love, Love this store! So glad to have discovered Mountain High Outfitters! They are in a great location, and the staff is wonderful! So helpful and were happy to call other stores to look for what I needed. This is definitely where we will do all our shopping for our outdoor activities. One of the employees even played frisbee with my son the whole time I shopped!

I dont know what CR K means, but every time I shop here, I love it. The sales staff is friendly and always helpful. I go camping with my wife every weekend, if time permits, and any time we need anything, we go to Mountain High. The prices are just as good, if not better, than any other outdoor store weve been to in the area.And as far as Binks is concerned, they dont even acknowledge the customer until he or she is ready to spend their money. Thats not salesmanship. A computer could do that.

Very good location and great service. the store is lean and has the outdoor edge to it. Great selection of all outdoor brands and lots of sizes. Service was great anything we needed they helped. Will definitely be a go to spot.

I only wish this store had as much to browse through as REI. The staff is always kind and ready to help. I enjoy stopping in to browse. Prices are competitive and usually less than REI/normal retail cost. Sometimes I just want to see the thing in person/ ask questions before I buy, rather than using Amazon and this is the place for that.

Excellent selection of gear to put your hands on. Many places have limited in store stock but this place had a great stock of many of the best high end outdoor brands.

Nice store, but...Picked out a pair of shoes; they did not have my size; told me they had them in another store and would have them at their store in a few days and call me. That never happened.

I really like Mountain High. Its a little cramped and they dont have a ton of gear to choose from, but they do have a really good selection of clothing that other stores around dont carry. Also, the staff has always been really friendly and helpful.

I have shoped at Mountain High several times since they have opened and have been very happy with the service and the selection available. I have purchased numerous items from them that I probably wouldnt have found elsewhere. The employees have been very knowledgeable and go out of the way to help.

I enjoyed Mountain High just as much as my children did. They had a wide variety of clothing, gear, shoes, and frisbees AND the staff members were fun to be around. They helped us with what we were looking for and knew what they were talking about. They were intelligent, knowledgable, and quite enthusiastic. It was a pleasant experience and I look forward to shopping with them again!

Not happy at all with this place. The first time we went in I chose some boats to buy and had them order the boats for me (they didnt have my size in stock). When they arrived and I went to pick them up they ordered the completely wrong pair. To make up for their mistake they gave me two coupons for 20% off each to use on another pair of boats of my choice. A while later I come back to gets some boats. I chose the pair I would like and go to buy them. The man at the register was very rude. First my husband asked how much the Yeti closter was and the man told him $24. We rang the Yeti up first and it was $30. My husband just told him that he would buy it offline because its $8 cheaper. The man replied with a snarky comment about how whoever is selling them for cheaper will loose their contract with Yeti. And proceeded to try to find the cheaper price online telling us that he was camparing prices from 50 other stores and that he couldnt find it on Amazon for $22. So my husband showed him. Then we tried to buy the boats. We were told they were $130; they rang up $156 before tax. Next we went to use the coupons and he rudley stated he would use the coupons on these already discounted boats. We told him the story behind the coupons. He wouldnt do anything about it. He acted very cocky towards us. We just told them we wouldnt deal with it and walked out. I will never shop there again.

Salesman was lazy asked for price said between 100-130 some where around that I said can you find out Exact price comes back tells me price, he hovered over me and my daughter, as she tried them on, went to pay price was not what I was told guy said I was told wrong Paid the price they actually was and left . Just aggravated you have one job get it right
