Thought this place would be a small place looking from the outside. But when walking inside it was quite big. They have a nice variety of wine and spirits! Only thing is when I walked in no one greeted me. The guy behind the counter was preoccupied with whatever he had looking at on the counter. Until I spoke to him and then he lifted his head to greet me. After that customer service was great! He helped me out with everthing I asked for! Thanks!

Good place to shop for bargains. Found vodka at an inexpensive price. Dont know the quality yet because I havent opened it yet. But I also bought a six pack of Corona which was comparable to other stores.

Neighborhood treasure.As a woman, I always feel comfortable and respected here. The door is always held. It is clean. My neighbors are courteous. I can pull up, walk in, grab a bottle, pay and walk out; in under 90 seconds. No fuss no muss.They have a security guard by the door.During holidays, they are well-organized and well-staffed. The staff is cordial.Maybe Spec’s is a dollar cheaper; maybe Total Wine has a bigger selection. Whatever: I’m not trying to be somebody. I’m trying to run my errands and get home.Thanks, Jamestic. It is just as good as Goody Goodie. Fast and friendly service. Some soft drinks and juices are a bit pricey. Overall it good.

1st off, the prices are not good. Everything liquor related is at least 3-4 bucks higher. Plus, they will cheat you at the register if you let them. Buyer beware. Beyond that its at a great location for me, too bad. That is all. Peace

Jamestic liquors has an incredible name and a solid selection. Not great for wine, but has a good range of bourbon and gin. They kept their doors open more than any other place in the Texas freeze of 2021, so major props!

U know people I really put James tic liquor store out there on that map, prices are good like I said its convenient & friendly people. Til that last time I shopped there before that new year & decided to charge my card once When I paid $40.03, but when I looked back over my account someone there had went back & charged it again, now thy taking there time refund in my money back WOW!!!

As an ex-employee of the famous 75 year old icon alcohol, beer and fine wines empire of Majestic, I was in the area of a store called Jamestic at Hulen and Granbury Rds. I got a big kick from the name spin off.I was again in that area and decided to stop in and look at it. Absolute perfection. It was a set up just like Majestic did. Well organized, rows straight, all product fronted on shelves, cold box was well organized and product fronted. I made my purchase and complimented the two employees on what a good job they had done. Well done.With all that said, I would love to have a really nice store in southern Johnson County area to purchase my libations.

A small independently owned liquor store. I much prefer to shop local when possible, and I can almost always find deals here that are better than the chain stores.

OK.. the WORST service ever!! I stopped there because it was the closest liquor store, BIG MISTAKE. I normally buy about 5-6 of random miniature bottles along with the bottle I go in for. These bottles are locked up, I am sure for good reason,but he wanted me to just tell him what I wanted quickly... ok I said, nevermind...I attempted to use a credit card, WITH my PHOTO on the card. He insisted on seeing my ID to match that I am the same person ON THE PHOTO. I pulled out my ID, then he snatched it from me.Then he asked me if I wanted a receipt, I said yes, he bagged my bottle, but never gave me my receipt. He said I didnt grab the receipt..... no HE didnt give it to me.I told him heis very rude,and I wont be back again.I will never be back in that store again!!
