Seriously this place is a Sad excuse for a ice cream business. The interior was gross and clearly not routinely cleaned. The girls behind the counter were barely conversational. Then let’s get to the ice cream….. hardly even creamy (more of like a gum texture…. Very weird and I had vanilla bean ice cream) and not worth the money.
I got the cashew-base mint ice cream. The cashew base was super creamy and good, no cashew taste. The mint was a good balance of sweet and refreshingly minty. Its expensive but worth the occasional splurge, especially being so fresh. I only wish it was easier to see the vegan friendly toppings online or on the menu!
Super tasty freshly made ice cream!I am in love with the coconut based ice cream, any of the cereal mixes pairs perfectly with it.Watching the nitrogen and workers do their magic is a blast as well.Fair pricing for the quality and work plus very friendly staff, no complaints.
Loved this new place! The texture of ice cream is outstanding- it taste more like ice cream than frozen yogurt like the other places. You pick your base (dairy or non dairy) then flavor of ice cream then toppings- or they have a few flavor combinations to choose from. I love that they offer a non dairy base. Definitely recommend.
I drove 30 minutes only to be told that they werent serving ice cream anymore. It was 8:30 (they close at 9). Why advertise that you are open that late when you arent? I would understand a restaurant, but ice cream??
This is the best. My mother who hates basically every ice cream but Braums, loved the strawberry ice cream they made here. The nitrogen was a cool experience for my nephews to see. Great place if you have problems with dairy.
The ice-cream was awesome! Thats how I will start this off. Simply amazing! The gimmick here is that they freeze the dessert base in front of you using liquid nitrogen. The is a velvet smooth ice cream. Seriously, I have never had ice-cream so smooth. It makes for an almost out of body experience each bite taken. There are many different flavors to chose from, as well as combinations and add-in.The ice-cream is kinda pricey. I spent a little over $30 for a dessert for my family of three. It is really good ice-cream, but I passed by several really good ice-cream options on the way to Creamistry (I really like the name) that were less expensive. Thats not the main problem, however. For the price that we pay for the ice-cream, I would think that they could hire someone to clean the custom tables. We had to wipe melted ice-cream from our table as we sat down and I observed four other families doing the same. Not once did anyone from behind the counter com over and clean the tables. I would not have thought to mention this had I not seen so many others cleaning their own table. We still plan to go back because there are some many other thing to try, but the price and lack of cleanliness will make it a trip that we dont make very often.
I dont know what to think. First of all. I judge all ice cream places on how they make a turtle sundae. They dont have pecans. Strike one. A single scoop with some toppings $7. Strike two. However every single serving made right on the spot. I mean the ice cream is made right then and not scooped from a 5 gallon bucket. They toss the ingredients into a mixer and turn on the liquid nitrogen and out comes youre ice cream. Pretty damn neat. However my confined spaces training makes me uneasy sitting in the dining area.
The ice cream here is so good. You can pick your base, flavors and toppings (they even have a non dairy base for those that need that). Ive been several times when Im in Fort Worth and never disappointed. There is a short wait because they make your ice cream fresh as you wait and it does usually have a line. But trust me...its worth the wait!
We loved that we had non dairy options and the ice cream is good. What bothered me was the cleanliness of the store. As soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell of old mop water with bleach. Most if not all tables were dirty and/or sticky including floors. Many of you are probably asking why I stayed and ate the ice cream 1. We traveled far for a birthday treat 2. I couldnt handle my sons sad face. I would try a different location but not here at this location in Fort Worth, TX.
Smooth, tasty ice cream creation (tried Berry mix and cookie monster) but overpriced for the small serving. Liquid nitrogen is cool novelty, but not really worth it.Also concerned about the equipment maintenance, rust on the counters and tables makes me concerned about food prep/safety. Looks like the industrial blenders need to be bolted down with rubber feet or something.
Clean place and friendly staff. I will be going back. Four stars because this location doesnt have an organic dairy base.
Ice cream was good. Didnt look exactly like the pictures but still good. This location was very dirty, there was sticky ice cream on all of the tables and floor. I had to go to the restroom to get wet paper towels to wipe down our table. There were 3 employees there, we were the only customers. No excuse for the filthiness.
Unique ice cream placs. They have good flavors and I love the texture of their ice cream.
The ice cream is pretty tasty and it is fun to watch them make it but it is a little pricey but I think its worth it. although the cups look small they fill it a lot so dont worry.
What a unique ice cream experience! Fun to see the dry ice fog when workers make your ice cream. There are endless combinations!
Not bad, but 3 single scoops of ice cream for $20? Not again.
I don’t really understand the point in advertising that you are open until 9 if you aren’t accepting orders 25 minutes before closing. Drove 25 minutes for no reason.
Creamistry locations in their home state of California are spectacular. The ones in Texas arent up to par as California however theyre usually adequate. This particular Fort Worth location is by far the worst Creamistry Ive ever been to. Customer service was terrible. The employees seemed flustered and incredibly confused about everything. The store itself wasnt maintained very well. The worst part was the ice cream. It wasnt good and didnt even taste fresh nor flavorful.
Very expensive and very LOUD. I guess its my bad for not seeing that it was $6.50 a scoop and fifty cents for a topping(which they barely give a smidge). But the ice cream machines at the counter clang incessantly, the steel sink is dumped with utensils and bowls, the walls have a glass covering and then combined with a tile floor the place had an echo effect that was unbearable. Tasty ice cream. Not worth the price, in my opinion.
They do not change there gloves. I asked the young man working today. To ask the girl that I witness cleaning the counters to change her gloves. Because after she wipe down part of the counter with the dirty rag, she prepare ice cream to the customers in front of us with the same gloves. He replied “we don’t change our gloves” My mouth dropped! Also I made him aware of the spatula laying on top of the brownies which included the handle resting on top of the brownies. He didn’t move it. It took away the excitement of having ice cream. There was three workers and neither one of them came out to clean the dirty tables. I hate to write this, but the rationale giving to me is not healthy for customers. My husband and I walked out after being in there for 20 mins
Great staff. Awsome treat especially in this heat.
The two stars are for the ice cream because it’s actually good. But os it worth to go through the poor customer service? Not really. It felt like waking up to a high school clique. The girls who attended us were not kind and weren’t welcoming. And also one of the workers were not wearing a mask as we were attended. I think you can find a better ice cream shop. This place ain’t it
Amazing ice cream. I only eat the menu mixed items, because theyre good and I dont fix things that arent broken.
Very smooth, no air pockets. Toddler gave it 5 stars too.
So the icecream is fine. The service not so much. Was not greeted the 2 girls here not friendly at all. They wanted to sit and gossip instead of interacting with myself and my nieces. After they made our icecream they left to the back and have not seen them but can hear them. As someone that has ran banks I know about customer service and they need to step it up here. Will not be back. Just for the fact the customer service is horrible. As you see in the picture no one to be seen.
Honestly I enjoyed it. Walked in was quick, easy, and delicious. I had the Sea Salt and Carmel Creamistry. Will be back all I have to say.
The wait was ridiculously long but worth the wait. I will surely be back whenever I dont have to wait over an hour 😊
Trying all flavors...majestic so far!
The ice cream was fine and the staff was courteous, although I believe sanitary rules call for hair to be tied so it doesnt fall in the profuct. The reason why I give one star is bc I had to use the restroom... how terrible! It hasnt been cleaned in a really long time and you can tell by all the dirt accumulated everywhere and how disgusting the toilet was. If thats the way the toilet is maintained I cant imagine how clean the pots and utensils in the kitchen are. Additionally, the floor and location in general is not well maintained, dirty floors, doors and windows.
Really good ice creams, great staff. but the place needs to be cleaned up. Countertops where chipped and dirty, walls looked like they’ve never been wiped. It really makes you not want to eat there. Absolutely filthy. If they can fix that they deserve more than 5 stars.
My son loved watching them make it. Its more fun of a fun experience for him than anything as price is a bit high for what you get. Employees didnt seem to care we were there. They came out of the back to make our order and were then in the back the entire time we were there.
This place is my new favorite ice cream place! It’s so good and the staff is so friendly.Yes, it is gourmet ice cream with gourmet prices. However, don’t be intimidated by the price. The ice cream is high quality. It’s no small amount of ice cream either. I actually got full from it.They offer non-dairy options as well, which was great for my wife. She chose the coconut milk base and even I thought it tasted amazing. I had the premium base(milk)and it tasted just that, premium. It’s the smoothest ice cream I’ve ever eaten by far.I can’t wait to go back and take our son and his friend.
Just sad, my family and I used to love creamistry and frequent it all the time about a month or two ago. The other day when we went it was nothing like before. I had a few questions about some items on the menu and when I asked the person on the register they replied “I don’t know” they could’ve replied I don’t know let me find that out for you like someone with common sense would have, but the employees just seem straight up lazy.On top of that the place is just disgusting, as I was waiting for my ice cream I could just see mold all over the sink where the ice cream scoops are kept and all over the walls . I watched an employee grab something off the floor with their gloves then proceed to grab toppings with the same gloves, the employees kept touching their face and fixing their hair and I didn’t see one person change their gloves in the span of the 15 min I was waiting for my ice cream. This place just seems like a health code violation waiting to happen. I’m disgusted and my family and I will never step foot in creamistry again. Do better.
Two stars is being generous. This creamistry is by far the worst Ive been to. Rude employees with terrible customer service skills. The restroom here is actually horrendous, absolutely disgusting. The toilet seat is falling off and there is open feminine hygiene products not in the proper waste receptacle, but instead are stuffed into the slot where the paper toilet seat covers are supposed to be. Sink is pure gross and they were completely out of hand soap. If they cant clean their restroom adequately and maintain them through out the day then I can only imagine what the work stations that the public cant see looks like. The floors were covered with straw wrappers and other trash and didnt look as though they had been cleaned properly in a while. All in all I wont be returning here and nor would I recommend anyone I know to come here.
This is a really cool place to grab ice cream/sweets. A fun atmosphere, the staff greets you when you walk in.Well balanced flavors and the icecream texture was unique and fun to try.We tried the espresso and Thai tea with mochi and it was tasty!*It was a little confusing placing the order, may be the staff was very fast explaining how to order. If you just take the menu and read it, it’s easier; 1,2,3 and you’re done.
BE AMAZED.I would give 10 stars if that were a possibility. The personnel were lovely and so helpful. The nitrogen flooded over the counter like some delicious science lab.
No doubt, it’s a cool concept that your ice cream is made after you place your order. But our coconut milk mixed with almonds and topped with chocolate fudge (regular size $8+) ice cream was not good at all. The lady told us that they don’t have coconut to add in the dairy base but we can go with coconut milk and it’ll taste just the same. No ma’am!!! No way it tasted the same. Had no coconut flavor or creaminess what so ever.
I had no expectations going into this place but was blown away by the product. I ordered the Salted Caramel Crunch and it was amazing! I will definitely go again!
Some friends and i went tonight for some icecream, as we arrived the tornado sirens for the city went off, panicking we asked to go inside (we all had masks). the person working told us if we drive now we can probably make it home and locked the door refusing to let us take shelter in the building citing store policy and suggesting we take shelter in our cars instead.
Solid vegan alternatives. Tell sun tattoo to hit me up through carrier pigeon. Shell know who it is 🤷🏽♂️
My ice cream was basically melted when they handed it to me…
The ice cream is amazing! BUT, this place is absolutely filthy. And, customer service left something to be desired....
It was good. But way over priced, especially for the size/amount of ice cream you actually receive. Sorry Creamistry.
The best ice cream Ive ever had. So many choices. We put it off until our last day there because of the line. Once we were in line it took maybe 15 minutes. Well worth the wait. Dont let the long line scare you.off. You have to try it while in Fort Worth.
I absolutely love this place!! I have literally gone once a week after dinner for the past month and I have to say it is well worth it! I greatly appreciate the greeting I get as I walk in from staff to the very respectful young man who i recently found out his name is Esteban who makes sure to acknowledge me and asks me about my day and what he can get started for me. I have been lucky to go a couple of times and he is working and every time his attitude is still great and very respectful towards all customers. This young man has gone above and beyond in some busy situations i have seen as well as a very great worker who makes sure the customers are taken care of. I love how all the workers work well together and are always on top of things and especially when the store gets super busy they go into this mode where they make sure everyone is happy and gets what they need even past closing time. I just have to say thank you for all the amazing ice cream treats and most of all the great staff and very clean place
Pretty good coconut milk based ice cream
The ice cream was great but really expensive for ice cream. I’m a pregnant lady so my one scoop of ice cream for $6 was a little bit much.... should have got a bigger size... spent $36 for four small ice creams and tip was required even tho I literally walked into the store and stood there waiting for my food and they forgot one of my ice creams... other than that love it. I got the fruity pebble ice cream which was really creamy and the cereal added the perfect crunch ( think I’ll make it myself next time tho...) my daughter loves her unicorn ice cream... and son loved the Cookie Monster ice cream... husband got the nitro shake with sherbert base with strawberries added... a little thick couldn’t get threw straw had to let it melt some but the strawberries were a nice touch. If you want a little sourness the sherbert is what you want.
First time... very good ice cream. Looking forward to cunning back and trying different stuff. Lots of flavors and options.
Ice cream was good although a bit pricey. If youre in a hurry, you might go somewhere else as it takes a little while to prepare each cup. Was also surprised that none of the staff was wearing masks during the current health crisis and self serve utensils were still being offered but this may be a non-issue for some (to each their own!). Ice cream prep was definitely unique.
We LOVE creamistry. Seriously the best, smoothest ice cream weve ever had.We are from OK and stop by Creamistry every time were in TX.This was our first time taking our kids and our first time to this location (Monday) but will be our last.It was my daughters bday and shes allergic to dairy, so we asked for everything dairy free. It wasnt dairy free. She started receiving hives within 1 minute of taking a bite and was in pain. By the time we got to Denton she was throwing up and swelling. We thankfully had an epi pen but it made for a miserable (and smelly) 4 hour drive home.(To boot the ice cream wasnt as good as the other location we usually go to. It was rushed and not the usual texture and the add ins were missing. Many menu items werent available and it would have helped if online ordering was available. The tiny store was crowded and took a long time (a common occurrence anytime we go to Creamistry) and of course people werent properly wearing masks and no hand sanitizer anywhere.)
Really interesting way of making shakes
Decent ice cream... fun to see the nitrogen:-)
Love the cashew non dairy base with banana. It’s is so yummy and the cookies and cream is good as well! It is soo cool to see ice cream being made with liquid nitrogen smoke from the mixers!
A little pricey but ice cream was super smooth. I didnt care for the cookie monster flavor but the other people in my group liked the chocolate and mint.
Great ice cream! Good variety of flavors which are all very good. Had their ice cream 3 days in a row which includes the airport, where there is no line.
If you want a clean friendly place this is not it. Its definitely a cool concept but this place definitely misses the mark. The girl taking our order seemed annoyed and when they messed up my order they seemed more annoyed to have to remake.
Not very impressed. Not many flavors. No wafer cones. Small portions. If you want a great ice cream cone, go to Holiday Ice cream
You can try Creamistry if you want some novelty, but honestly the ice cream is nothing special, if not below average. The portion is tiny and looks nothing like the photo they have. It looks cool though and Im sure its expensive to maintain and operate all those machines. But dont set your expectations too high.
I love the novelty of Creamistry and really expected it to be good. The ice cream itself is fantastic - creamy, good texture, full of flavor. I got the Smores signature creation. It was pricey, for ice cream, and the presentation was severely lacking. I dont know if they were out of supplies the night we went, but it did not look anything like the picture presented (toppings), and it was pretty sad looking for almost $9. I really wanted to love it, but for the price and what I got, I think its mostly gimmick and not enough substance to keep me going back.
Dont believe the hype. The lady spoke when I arrived. Iasked what was a popular fruity choice. She didnt answer my question, she only recited what was already on the menu.I got a fruity pebble shake. It was entirely too sweet, I had to trash it after the first 2 sips. I dont know what kind of ice cream she used, but it would have been great had she actually helped me when I asked questions, instead of rushing me out. $9.76 in the trash.
The reason I am giving a low rating is because of the bad service I was given. I did not get a chance to try out the ice cream. I came in on Mon Sept 17 at 9:07 pm, I was greeted by a young man behind thr counter cleaning. As I approached the counter to look at the board menu, a young lady came up to the register and told me that they close at 9:00 pm. I was very disappointed because their door sign says that they close at 9:30 pm. I understand that they want to clean up and go home but closing the store 30 minutes before the posted closing time is very unacceptable.
My wife and I love their ice cream we wish they would make more coffee so that we can get it from the pizzeria that they also own which is near where we live live
Amazing experience! It was my first time there and the people there were very helpful. The most exciting part was the actual preparation of my ice cream. Instead scooping it, they used liquid nitrogen, creating a new and exciting experience!
The ice cream is so so creamy I loved it very much. I immediately tasted the freshness of the ingredients, the delightful silkiness and sweet flavors but not overly sweet. To me is simple yet perfect. Also I love the setting, is cool and modern right in Fort Worth’s Heart. I would definitely come back.
Expensive but very good and its really fun to watch a make the ice cream
Best frozen ice cream with a fun twist. And the ice cream stays cold longer!
Very creative making the ice cream. Loved the flavor . A little to much extra ingredients for my taste. We will go back. Great service with happy knowledgeable staff
Super love this place. First the ice cream or for the sorbet is super good, but this location has the best customer service. Thank guys!!
Went in on a late Saturday afternoon, the line wasnt too bad. Didnt mind the wait since it was our first time to visit. Gave us a chance to review the menu boards. I choose Birthday cake and the premium cream. My friend choose the pineapple sorbet with strawberries. The birthday cake was simple vanilla base with sprinkles. Not anything special. The pineapple sorbet my friend said was good but she only ate half of it. For the two small cups (regular) it was over $15. Its pricey so dont go in thinking you will get the bells and whistles with it costing you the train. For a one time experience the service and staff could have been happier and nicer. The cleanliness of the shop needed some attention. If your that busy have a staff member there for cleaning tables and dont leave it to your clients that pay a premium price for your product.
