All the reviews on overpriced food are wrong! The prices are right on with the quality of food and the quantity on food served. Excellent service, great food! And the juice is 4 bucks because it is squeezed in house.

Went here with my son. He had the Belgian Waffle. It was delicious. It tasted just how you hope a Belgian Waffle will taste. I had the Eggs Benedict. The presentation wasnt the best, but the taste was. I enjoyed them as much as any Ive had. The Home Fries with onions and peppers were wonderful. Elizabeth was an excellent server with a wonderful morning smile.

A little pricey, but very good. I took my neighbor (they have moved here from Ohio) for breakfast. Pancakes were very good, large and fluffy and served with a big scoop of butter and warm syrup. We have been to a number of places and this is the only one that served warm syrup for our cakes. I used to eat here in the 80s, but it has been a while since last here. If anyone remember the name of gentleman that owned it then, please let me know. We will be back to try the lunch menu. No evening hours. I reccomend you go. With the new decor (red and white check with stainless steel rimmed tables and a bar with stools, its a step back in time. Our servers were very friendly young ladies. I also met a classmate from high school 60s. It was a good morning.

Wow! So overpriced for what they’re serving. 18$ for their chicken fried steak but steak was size of hand and a chewy piece of meat. My husband ordered that with a side of macaroni but the macaroni was way undercooked and tasted days old. My food was just “ok”.... I’ve been here before and loved it.I would recommend just sticking to Dixie house cafe. One positive was our waitress. She was very nice and on point. Just my over all experience was less than stellar. Be for warned.... our breakfast came out to. “45$” would not be back.

Raw meat served burnt on the outside. Enjoy! Oh and if you want a slice of tomato, that counts as a side dish. Chicken prices have gone up so of you order anything chicken its $5 more. EVEN chicken fried steak. Its $5 more. So it makeS it $18... but the restaurant should know by now being in business so long. Chicken fried steak IS NOT CHICKEN, ITS BEEF. so why charge the $5 more???I will never eat here again mainly because my hamburger steak was Burnt and raw at the same time.

Thought it was worth a try after reading all the reviews. My husband and I sat at the bar. Will not be returning. Coffee was very very weak. I ordered French toast scrambled eggs and sausage, they gave me bacon - would have been fine if they would have made it at least a tiny bit crispy. French toast were passable but not great. Still 👍 for getting our order out pretty quick even though every table was filled and a line of about 10 people waiting outside. Dont know what all the fuss is about but let me save you the trip not worth the $32 plus tip for 2 people.

This is my favorite place for breakfast, I’ve never had anything I didn’t love. Today I had the waffle with pecans and it was perfect! Service is great, Vicky is my waitress and she greets me like family every time I come, I don’t eat there on her days off. 😆The pancakes are huge, I always have leftovers and the chicken fried steak is one of the best I’ve had and the coffee is delicious. Definitely worth stopping in to try!!

Solid cafe experience. Great French toast, great sausage gravy. Good hash browns. Inconsistently sized pancakes. They cannot make well done scrambled eggs and will try to recook the same ones if they are runny, resulting in a seared, dry exterior and a raw interior. God service, though.

I am severely disappointed today. My first visit was great. They were extremely busy, the service was good. Food good. TODAY, not even crowded, the waitress was decent but was seeing most of the tables. The young waiter guy made everyone seem as if they were disturbing him. He brought our food, my husbands coffee was empty and we asked for more. Yes, after sitting for 10 minutes waiting for coffee. He brought the coffee, went to full mine and I had decaf. I said no I have decaf, he was rude and made and went and put the pot down and started doing something else after pouring g reg coffee in my decaf. My food came cold. Not warm, cold. Bacon was hard. I was very saddened by the rudeness and then by food.

Last time I ate here was about 10 years ago and so happy to see it was just as amazing as I remember. My lady had the Breakfast monte Cristo and boy that on its own was a delight. I myself had something a little more traditional a Belgium waffle with two eggs over easy and a sausage paddy. The eggs were perfectly cooked not even slightly burned, the waffle was Texas Shaped and for once didnt have to ask for more butter. The syrup came out piping hot, and when poured beautifully melted the butter and on a cold day warmed you right up.The staff was equally as enjoyable as the food. The light hearted, friendly banter was a warm welcome making the entire experience a true joy. I highly recommend it, and will be returning with frequency.

When I walked into Vickery Boulevard Cafe, it was like I was stepping back into time. The inside was a throwback to the 1950s diner. Remember the diner in Back to the Future? That was Vickery Cafe. The only thing that was missing was the jukebox. But what was present, was the family atmosphere. Families, neighbors, friends..... they were there. And the amazing thing? They were all talking to each other. It wasnt a diner full of people with their faces in the phone. Only one person, sitting at the counter was into her laptop. Everyone else was enjoying each others company. The staff ran the diner like a well oiled machine. Everyone having a certain job to do, all working well with each other. It was amazing to watch. As me and my friend waited on our meal, the woman in the booth next to us was singing Itsy, bitsy, spider to her child. My friend ordered the blueberry pancakes, sausage, and orange juice. The pancakes were huge, with huge blueberries all through it. And the orange juice? FRESH SQUEEZED.I ordered the chicken fried ribeye steak, with mashed potatoes and okra. It was more than I could eat. Everything came out hot and well seasoned. So if youre looking for a place thats perfect for friends and family get togethers, take a visit to the Vickery Boulevard Cafe. You wont be disappointed.
