This place might not be beautifully decorated or have a bunch of bells and whistles, but I have been going here for years and the service is always the same. They are fast, efficient and friendly. Ive tried other places closer by and always regret it and end up going back to Speedee

Awesome place right down the way from the house. No incentive to take your car to the dealership anymore. I left it with them while running other errands. Needed oil change and rotation, and let them know that Discount Tire (100 yards away) sold me the tires and rims. They serviced my car and drove the car over to discount for the tire rotation which was free instead of an additional $20 that they would have had to charge. Honest, fast, no issues. Nice. I think Ive got my new routine!

I needed my Radiator, air conditioning, Compressor, and break work done. Taking it to speedy was a great decision. Professional work done work done at fair prices.

This was my place to go get oil change. I am a regular but this is last time I’ll go here. Ladies!!! Attention this is not the 1st time I pull up and the workers just stall on my car while they work on other cars with oil change too (men with the vehicle ) I come alone and wait in waiting area while I look threw window as they work on other cars I let it pass the 1st time thinking it couldn’t be but as I went in today no other vehicles as I sat down 4 cars pulled up and 2 left as my car sat there and all gentlemen there walking around working on other vehicles. I didn’t cause no scene or say anything but wanted you (ladies) take your business else where they appreciate all customers equally!

Been going there for over 20 years. Had not seen the owner Jim in couple years. He was there today. Great clean place with great staff.

They provided excellent and friendly customer service from the moment I pulled up, to the time I left.They were SpeeDee ;) vacuumed footwells, wiped down windows, and provided an electronic charging station while I waited. My cabin air filter and engine filter needed to be replaced (I have filters at home, just havent gotten around to replacing them) and there wasnt any unwanted aggressive upselling. Much appreciated!I used a coupon off of their site and a full synthetic oil change plus state inspection ran me about $90.

Went in for inspection. Told me I had pulled the battery cable to clear computer and hide a problem. Battery was replaced over a year ago, so no issue with miles driven. Wanted sell me me an expensive diagnostic service. Went down the street, they checked the ECM fuse, replaced it and the car passed with flying colors. Next time, dont try and rip people off.

I just moved in this area 5 mths ago took my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder for Oil Change BEST PRICE ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN! Also got my inspection no problem

Came here after seeing all the great reviews. Well I didnt have a great experience its hard enough to find an honest place to get an oil change I needed a radiator flush as well, so I trusted them to get it done and right. Next day Im driving and noticed that familiar radiator overheat smell check my gage it was all the way on hot I pulled over checked under the hood and she was bone dry I then noticed the radiator hose was disconnected. When I connected the radiator hose I went back to SpeeDee all they did was ensure I had the proper antifreeze levels no heres a refund for the 40$ you had to spend on antifreeze to get here, no discount or here is a free oil change for our mistake we want to make it right. Maybe posting this will encourage them to in the future.

Locally owned franchise. The staff is nice and quick to help. Works with your situation and only suggests appropriate repairs. Doesnt oversell. I never feel concerned bringing them work.

Great service and quality work. Have been having my vehicles serviced here since we moved to the area. Recently took one vehicle to the dealer for a dealer-only specific procedure, and following that the check engine light came on. Brought the vehicle in to SpeeDee, Brody recommended an inexpensive fix first, that unfortunately didn’t resolve the issue. He then started to diagnose the issue through a checklist. He found that a certain wire had been cut. Not worn, not frayed- a clean cut. The factory dealer is the only one that had access to the vehicle. Total repair was less than $100. Very thankful for honest and dedicated people and companies that can be trusted. Highly recommended!

My mom stopped by today and tried to get an oil change. Her English is not very good but was enough to explain to the guys here that she wanted an oil change. Their attitude were horrible, instead of helping her out, they were making fun of her accent, repeating whatever she was saying in a mocking way.This is unacceptable, you shouldn’t be treating anyone like that. She ended up leaving and didn’t get an oil change. We would never come back, why would we ever want to spend money where people can’t even treat us with respect. Maybe if you can speak English fluently, they might treat you better!

Staff very friendly and professional

Customer service was good by individual but Brought my car in for an oil change. Tech came out and showed me air filters. I told him I would replace them myself. One week later when I am putting in a new air filter I find that the fasteners were torqued to a point where I cannot loosen by hand. needed to put my drills torque setting all the way up to loosen. Not very convenient. Called the local number to let them know about these issues and voice mail box is full. Had I been able to talk to a person or leave a message on the voicemail i would not be writing this review.

As soon as I arrived, the shop was ready to receive my vehicle. They also informed me of each option I had along the way, what was the appropriate oil for my vehicle, and asked before proceeding with anything that would be more than they had originally quoted. It was a quick, seamless experience, and I will definitely be returning.There is also a shop dog there some days (a small, hypoallergenic Yorkie), and she is the sweetest animal you can hope to meet. Great experience.

Oct 2021 Happy with how quickly they were able to get my car inspected. Not happy, however, with the greasy footprint left on my floormat. Even with car inspections, they should put a paper mat in the car.Happy that they had 2021 Cowboy schedule.

Hwy 26 shop closed down due to bad service.Speede has all store franchises and they dont have universal policies. That store owe me free oil change and I lost that. I cant to to other shop to get that honored.May be the shop on Hurt but it on Hwy 26.

A real hassle free experience! We were in an out in less than 30 minutes with a oil change and inspection. The owner was super nice and let us know they were dog friendly so if our pup got tired outside or if we wanted to sit down we could bring him inside.

Came down to this shop from Justin because of the great reviews. Safe to say it wont be my last. Definitely has the old school care. Not to mention, the owners pup who is cute and well mannered made the wait more easy that it would have been without Peanut.

I still take my car there even with the 40 minute drive because I simply do not trust anywhere else with my car.The staff is honest and to the point and service is always incredible.I have never once felt uncomfortable here and I fully recommend it.

Highly recommend this place! I thought I needed new brakes, but the mechanic told me my brakes were fine but needed a new caliper. Their loaner car was out, so they drove me and my daughter home so I could pick up my older child from school. After they completed the work, they picked me up so I didnt have to bike in the rain to get my car. Everyone here is very kind, helpful and honest! I am very happy with their work. 😊

I showed up here at opening after doing very little research on oil change places near my house and boy am I glad I was feeling lazy. The people were very nice and I was highly surprised that they washed my windows and even vacuumed my car! The price was excellent and they told me some things that might need attention in the future without being pushy that it needs attention now. From now on this is the place I will be going for my oil changes and car needs!

Ive had a couple of great experiences with this shop. Theyre a friendly and no-pressure place to take your vehicle and they wont talk to you like youre stupid. Theyre honest about what you need but dont push you to do anything outside your budget. Theyve always been very quick and willing to answer questions. The waiting area has AC and is comfortable if you have to wait a bit.The only issue Ive had is today when I dropped off my car for an oil change, no one called me to let me know it was done. Overall a great place. Id definitely recommend this shop and will continue to go back.

Got service done here for a couple years up until some of those guys started getting pretty disrespectful for no reason. I call with a few questions if they do electrical work and i get laughed at. I would recommend other places before this.

Went to get my oil changed and my vehicle emissions inspection. They were able to take me right away and I didnt have to wait long for them to finish. My car was vacuumed and my tires checked. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Their prices are competitive but their customer service is superior. Definitely recommend.

Went in for a routine oil change. Please be aware of sales tactics that are sketchy and totally out to get your money. Was told that they could not remove the drain plug and they would need to replace it or the oil pan. A new drain plug is 49.99. The thing is, the drain plug was the same one they removed at my last oil change. They insisted they would have a hard time getting it off and therefore it would need replacing. I went to PCH automotive instead. No drain plug needed. Oil change done for $2more than this place without the harassing up-sell to a single female they thought they could fool. Be aware, ladies.

Brody, Derrick, owner Jim and all the guys here at this location are the best. Even sweet Peanut the dog. They have always helped me when I have been in a jam and have never taken advantage of me just bc I am a woman. They treat all of their customers w respect and I will never take my cars anywhere else.

We have been using the SpeeDee on North Beach since 2005 and have had nothing but excellent service. We have taken everything we have owned there and have always found them to be very friendly accurate with their recommendations and never had an issue with our regular oil changes and minor services. They are always very friendly and great to work with. We won’t use anyone else for our oil changes and regular fluid services.

CONS:Went in for an inspection. Failed the inspection because of some codes that I didnt see. They recommend a place for me to go to but the place didnt exsist. So I go to Christian Brothers to get the fixes that were needed. After I get my fixes at CB, I failed again because the some of the monitors were not ready. The gentleman does not make an effort to tell me how to get my engine in ready mode so I have to figure it out myself. Overall: Waste of time.PROS:Fast.

Quick and courteous. I had to get my inspection done. I was greeted in my car and given a realistic wait time. Then when he needed to see my proof of insurance I had difficulty locating it and they were cool about giving me time to find it. It was so quick. Took way less time then I thought.

I was recommended by a neighbor to go here when my check engine light came on. I already had taken it to autozone to do a diagnostic and told them what was going on. They told me they could have repairs done the very same day! They were quick to call in to get the part needed for my vehicle and 2 hours later it was done! I was so impressed on how quickly it was taken care of! I will start going to this place from here on now for all my vehicle needs! Definitely would recommend! Everyone was so polite and answered all my questions!

Quick service, and friendly employees. But feel they completed the 17 point oil change. Windshield had not been cleaned like promised. I had to do oil reset button myself. Nothing major but do feel that if they promise the windshield cleaning, they ought to do it.

Quick service. No B.S. No pressure but accurate recommendations provided.Only issue:Ive had my jeep serviced here at least 5 times. I always drop it off and request they call me when its ready to pick up. Only once have I received a phone call. (Thanks Brody) The other times Ive waited for hours and finally just called or gotten a ride back up there myself to see if its done. I wasn’t there very long even when it was later in the afternoon. Service was fast and friendly. I saw a previous review with 4 stars and positive reviews as well. I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. I did see them service my car through the window and definitely will be going back.

Had my car inspected. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Great service. Workers are very professional and courtesy. The know what they are talking about. You ask them any question and they will tell you exactly what you need and dont need done to your car. Dont make you pay for things that are not needed.

Got 2 inspections done here. One for my motorcycle and one for my car. Service was prompt. I got in kinda late (close to closing) with the car, they still got me in and were happy to do so. This is my new go-to place. These guys are super chill.

You may ask yourself Are there any HONEST businesses out there?. Well, YES, there is! My wife and I brought my newly acquired 2008 Ford Escape to have an oil change done. Being ignorant to what was in front of me, I totally overlooked the oil change sticker in the drivers side window (I had roughly 2000 miles left before the next oil change). The staff there greeted me warmly as I handed them the keys and we were invited inside out of the cold to wait for the service to be completed. In less than a minute the technician reappeared before us with my keys in hand. He said that an oil change had been done recently (Before it came in to my possession) and that we were good to go. I was floored. These guys could have capitalized on my ignorance, replaced the mileage sticker, did an unnecessary oil change and I would not have been the wiser. BUT THEY DIDNT. They were HONEST and FORTHRIGHT. I vowed there and then that they had won my business going forward, and I absolutely meant it. Now lets jump forward in time to yesterday. I drove back to SpeeDee to get the oil change done (now that it needed it) and the technician actually recognized me. He smiled and said Its time, eh?. Yes, I replied with a grin Its actually the right time this time around!. These guys are professionals through and through. Sure, there may be cheaper ways to get an oil change done, but theres one thing I DO know. You get what you pay for!

These guys are efficient and friendly. Came in for inspection and oil change. Had to also have serpentine belt replaced. The did all this Iess than 30 minutes. Price is reasonable too. Used to go to another shop and started using this location about 4 years ago and will continue to get both of our cars serviced here.
