I LOVE LOVE this store! Ive bought many beautiful treasures at Vals and was worried that this darn Corona would make things hard for this small business. But Val is rocking it, In fact, Ive bought more during Corona! haha She posts videos several times a week of items for sale, and then you make an appointment to pick it up in a safe way. Its been working out great.

I love this place! Val posts lots of pictures and videos online. All the shopping is by appointment only but it’s great because you have the store to yourself and can take your time. She was very flexible with the timing of our visit, and I had to change the date at the last minute and she accommodated us! Lots of unique finds, really enjoyed our visit.

Ive been going to Junker Vals since I was a student at TCU. Bought a an antique vanity there my senior year that I had for several years and ever since I always try to stop in and see what treasures (also known as junk) Val has found lately. Shes always got a friendly laugh, a good story, and great finds in store for you.

I’ve been coming to JunkerVals since 2014. At the time, it was right by my old house and I drove past it in many occasions. The store front always caught my eye and I finally went in to give it a try.I was met with Val, the owner’s, friendly character as well as her coworker, Beckett the Wonder Dog.Inside was a whole other world. Trinkets, clothes, toys, jewelry, furniture and many other oddities filled the room wall to wall. There’s no way you can see everything on your first trip. Ever since then I’ve been a regular customer. There’s always something to find and admire at the shop. Even her online shop and warehouse are a blast.I love the wares, and the personalities you meet when shopping here. There’s never a shortage of cool things and interesting conversation when you’re perusing the goods.10/10 would recommend

Following her Facebook page allows you to see a first hand view of the treasures inside. She has posted more videos when I want a better view of something she has showed & makes me feel so special & appreciated. Then she has mailed it out right away & I found my items to be even more beautiful in person. I can’t recommend Ms Val and her treasures enough! I love Val & her treasures! I love Junker Val’s!! She has such a variety of things and if she doesn’t have something, she will do her best to find it for you. She has had to change her business to mainly online with curbside pick up due to the corona virus, but I have ordered many things during this time and appreciate having a safe way to still shop. What a wonderful treasure trove of interesting things. When my daughter showed no interest in the lovely quilts my mother and grandmother had made, I knew she would rehome them with someone who would love and care for them. I also am impressed with her willingness to share her shop online. So many cute things to look over!

This is THE place for anything antique, vintage, or in-between. A Fort Worth fixture for many years, Val is an expert at sourcing unique finds that truly inspire the discerning artist or collector. My wife LOVES this place; I let her shop for her own birthday, anniversary and Christmas gifts at Val’s. Do yourself a favor and send your significant other to do the same!

I have been shopping with Val for years. She has the most unique items I’ve ever seen and her prices are so fair.Recently, I’ve been shopping online. She will ship to you or you can pick up your items outside at her store at an agreed upon time. As I am older, I appreciate the protection of her customers that Val offers. I miss browsing in the store, but Val does so many Facebook live streams, I feel like I’m there!

Junker Vals is by far my favorite little vintage shop in Fort Worth. The wares are priced fairly, and there is a wide variety of items! Val is taking extra precautions during this pandemic to ultimately keep her customers and herself safe, which I love. 10/10 Will purchase from her again. This has probably been one of the best places I have ever been to. JunkerVal is so amazing and the experience of just meeting her is all you need to fall in love with the store. I definitely will be visiting Val soon again.

Vals place is the most fun and interesting place Ive ever stepped foot into. She knew me and my significant other by name, even though there were large gaps of time between visits. She even opened the store just for me outside of her normal hours so we could bring friends and family who were leaving town before shed be open. An incredible selection of knick knacks and fun finds, and Val herself is wonderful company and a blast to talk to. Ive since moved to another city, but I plan to make trips up to visit Vals once its safe to do so. For now, shes operating online, showing pictures and videos of her treasures and shipping them to people, which is a genius way of keeping the spirit of her place alive. I highly recommend Vals, online and in person.

Junker Vals is one of the most eclectic and yet eccentric little Antique shops you will ever find! You never know what you will find that calls to you and you just have to have it! Her prices are fair and Val is the most caring and sincere owner. She seems to know what youre looking for and remembers you every time you return...one of my favorite places to shop!

We fell in love with Junker Vals and Val herself 2 years ago while on vacation. We still shop with her via Facebook. Every sale has been exactly as shown with no unpleasant surprises. Val goes above and beyond to try to find items Im looking for and carefully packs and ships to us in Ohio! Love this place. We are both sad and glad we dont live closer... sad because we cant visit more, glad because we would spend our entire salaries here easily!

I love shopping Junker Val’s! She has some really fantastic items and she is such a sweet person. Shopping her Facebook page during quarantine has been so fun, it’s like an online treasure hunt! I have always seen the Junker Val shop but I just was never able to stop by. After the pandemic hit, the shop owner Val has taken to Facebook to post pictures and videos of all the hidden treasures her shop has to offer. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have bought several small treasures from her and picked up through no contact pick-up. While the shop may not be physically open, I have enjoyed virtually shopping the shop from the comfort of my home. I definitely recommend checking out the FB lives Val posts, even if you don’t see any treasures she definitely has some good laughs to share.

There is only one negative to this store - its that it is in Texas and so far from home! We were introduced to this wonderful woman and her treasure store while visiting family in Texas. Fell in love instantly. So many finds and such great deals. I make purchases often from views of merchandise on Facebook, but its not the same as visiting the store. Some day well get back there!!

My sister had long told me about what a great place Junker Val’s is (and what a great person Val herself is), so I was thrilled when I finally got to go there. I’ve been back several times, and always find something(s) wonderful! Because of COVID, Val has now taken her business online, which is just as much fun as browsing in person . . . and I don’t even have to go to Fort Worth to do it. If you love thrifting, antiquing, junking, whatever-you-want-to-call-it ing, you should definitely treat yourself to a virtual visit to Junker Val’s!!!

Val has one of the most eclectic collections of stuff I have ever seen. From vintage clothes to musical instruments to some very strange art objects, you may not find what you are looking for, but you will definitely enjoy looking at what you find.

Val is wonderful! Fair, knowledgeable and full of great stories. Her wonderful “junk” as she calls it is a bonus, the real treasure is the lady herself.

I found JunkerVals on the website and could not wait to stop in. I finally got a chance to drop in on Friday after work and it was everything I thought it would be and more. Its a cute small store that has lots of treasures to be discovered. I was not disappointed. the owner Val was so friendly and delightful to meet. Junker Val and her store are a precious gem! Every time we visit she is friendly and has a big smile. Her store is full of unique and interesting items and always brings smiles and laughs as we look through the store. The two dogs are sweet as can be and well behaved. Vals store is an Aladdins Cave of big and tiny treasures. Theres always something amazing to bring into your life. During the Covid crisis, she is posting a lot on Facebook and Instagram so people can browse safely. Make sure you check to see how she is handling sales as the contagion progresses. She is very accomodating. I cant wait for the crisis to be over though, because she is also so much fun in person.

Val’s place is truly an original. I’ve been going here for years now and have found many cool items . I just recently procured a vintage mirror for my small makeup area. She is excellent at finding things for you and remember what you like . This is a must go shop! You won’t be disappointed!

I love Junker Val’s! There is always a great find from top notch, high end items to props for special occasions and everything in between. Val is so sweet and exceptionally accommodating. She was understanding when my toddler threw a fit on her floor, offered me help to my car every time I have been and is simply sweet and gracious. I love the store and the lady!!!!

Have known Val for several years now. One of the most pleasant enjoyable people to be around. Fair, honest and always upfront. Some of the best vintage finds in Texas. Always giving, always sharing info. A true Texas Treasure. If you need it, chances are she has or knows where to get it.

It was me and my sisters first time stopping in on this little shop. I never know what to expect when I stop in such a store but I was very much pleasantly surprise. There was so many treasures in this shop, I managed to find many quality beautiful items. And the shop keeper Val was just simply great, I felt like so comfortable. Will shop there again.

She’s such a sweet lady, the store is full of wonderful treasures and they’re all very reasonably priced. If you look hard enough, you can find some really cool stuff hidden in the nooks. If you can’t find something specific, they’re more than happy to help you find it elsewhere.

This shop is tiny, but she sure has lots of stuff packed into it! I go by there often, telling myself Im just going to look and visit awhile, not buy anything. Well, I always find some really great item I just have to have. And her prices are more than fair. If youre looking for something specific, she just may have it. If not, shell try to get it for you.

Got to visit this lovely shop twice in my time in Fort Worth. I will ALWAYS go back. Small store but packed with goodies. No prices so be ready to talk, but Val is lovely and not looking to do harm to anyone. Just has SO MUCH that she doesnt have time to price it. Vals doesnt claim to be anything but what it is. Its a wonderful place where you can find unique thrift type items. Literally everything but the dogs are on sale. You like it? Buy it. I buy from there rather often and will always recommended.

This place always has new and different treasures. If you dont find something on your first trip, make sure you go back. Val always has something wonderful that you cant live without. Its a small space packed to the rafters, so take a deep breath and dive in, you wont regret it!

A trip to Junker Vals is a Fort Worth experience not to be missed. Val is more hostess than proprietor, and is sure to make you feel welcome. Almost everyone I know in Fort Worth knows Val and will tell you the same. Turns out the shop always has some interesting things to look at, and business always seems brisk whenever I stop in.

Best hidden vintage shop I have found in a REALLLY long time!! I could spend hours here. Each item is unique and special- literally one of a kinds found here. Val is the best. So kind, I only had 3 dollars so she waved the cost and gave me an amethyst stone for free. She knew I needed it. She was spunky and made the whole experience ten times better....like the cherry on top! This place just keeps getting better and better everything is Affordable. Like totally reasonable. I have been shopping at Vals since she opened it a few years ago and i love it there! the stock is always changing - its a new experience every time i go, and it really is an experience! she is one of the nicest and most honest business owners i have ever met- i have never felt pressured when in her store (unlike a lot of speciality boutiques) and i have never felt ripped off.

Worst experience ever from Val herself. First of all why have a business if your not going to answer customers looking to potentially sell a very antique piece and when she did after the 4th call shes very disrespectful, unprofessional & hung up in my face. Will never go anywhere in life treating people that way. If I could I wouldnt even rate it 1star. But I had to so I can write my experience.
