Clean store, most items are in stock consistently. The parking lot is pretty busy and hectic.I used to buy their specialty cheeses often until I picked up two that were wet. I’m not sure if this is normal or not, but it rubbed me the wrong way.Every other food item has been good/fresh, but be cautious with the specialty cheese section! (Especially blue cheese)
This is a marketplace store so it sells retail items besides food. The clothes and shoes are not bad pricing and great when on clearance. Lately Ive been disappointed with the lack of food on the shelves. Ive switched my shopping days and found no day or time is good. Constantly having to go to another Kroger or competitor to get my non-Kroger brand items. Many of the sale items are out so I cant take part in the deals.
Are second time shopping here and it was great till we arrived home. We bought pork chops for the next day to grill out and upon opening them the smell was awful!! They were rancid!! A heads up ask the meat person if you can smell the meat before they wrap it.
We use the pick up service. It is great. Rx is exceptional.
I usually avoid shopping here if possible. The produce is good and employees are generally friendly but there are too many other things that make it very inconvenient to shop here. The parking lot is a nightmare. Inside the store, the click list carts are frequently blocking the aisles. The layout of store also seems odd to me. It makes for a very less than enjoyable visit.
One of the cashiers has been extremely rude on more than one occurrence. I brought this up to the manager, Greg, and his response was lacking and doubtful he will do anything. He acted as if it were my fault she was rude. It was not what she said, but how she spoke in her interactions with me. Greg said he has NEVER known her to be rude. Looks like Meijers has a loyal customer now.
I have been a faithful shopper at this store for many many years . I no longer will be using this store due to the fact that they are NEVER stocked! I understand that we are in a pandemic but seriously the place is always bare! I cant understand how other stores less than 10 miles away never seem to have that problem. I will travel the extra miles to a store that is better stocked even during a pandemic! if i could have marked this 0 stars i would have!
Not only am I an employee but the store in general is Good. The only issue I see is when I leave in the morning and when I come to work I see trash all over the parking lot. Now sometimes I pick a few pieces of trash up as I go into work and when I leave but I can only do so much by myself.
Do not buy fried chicken from the deli. Thats suppose to ready to eat we bought 2 on 4/19/2021. Both had chicken that was bloody not fully cooked my kids have been sick for 2 days now
I really like this store and their products but dont like how packed it always is and is extremely hard to find a parking space.
Just moved to the Fort Wayne and this store is less than a mile away. Beautiful cheese section, bakery, fish, and deli. The problem is that the shelves are never stocked and its a bit unsettling (I always feel like Im walking into a zombie Apocalypse movie). The other issue is that there are never enough cashiers and some of the cashiers are fast and some have zero sense of urgency- no consistency. I used to use the self-checkout, but the lady with the face shield always treated me like I was trying to shop lift- constantly walking over and asking if I scanned this or that- Um yes, I know how this works. I was also told I could not purchase a pack of toilet paper, a pack of paper towels, and a bottle of laundry soap and that I could only pick 2 of those items-Pretty sure thats not how it works anymore. Its also quite expensive to shop here. I discovered Meijer is 4 miles way - Totally different experience! Shelves stocked, less expensive, they are staffed and quick checkout.
Very happy with this grocery store. Friendly staff and helpful.
If you want to overpay for everything go to Kroger. This store is always out of everything. It has gone downhill since the new store manager came in.If you want to be given the wrong pills in your prescription bottle, go to Kroger pharmacy.
Hands down the best bakery in town. Its not a fancy cake shop but I always order my cakes and cupcakes here and they always turn out amazing. I ordered 30 cupcakes for my daughters Halloween party for her class and when I went to pick it up I was so happy. The cupcakes were so PRETTY! Very neat and decorated just like I wanted! The most AMAZING thing was my son messed up some of the cupcakes and when I called Krogers they took an emergency order for the next day!!!
Their corona policies are nonsensical, clearly more about having the appearance of being safe then actually having anything to do with safty. The end result is policies that inconvenience customers, lower product quality, excuses to be lazy, all the while charging the customer the same prices.Dont urinate on me and call it rain and expect to get a good review.P.S. The parking lot is a Godforsaken nightmare.
I use checklist for all my grocery shopping. Recently they stopped giving physical receipts. After calling 2 different people I was told I can no longer get a physical receipt. This makes absolutely no sense what so ever. If I shop in store they give receipts. I use Ibotta and fetch and I can no longer get my receipts to get cash back. I guess I will be using Walmart pick up from now on. It’s a receipt for God sakes. Ever place you shop gives them to their customers.
Store looks nice. People were friendly & helpful. But, the case for individual cakes & pastries was MIA that stood alone filled with quick desserts. Now only on side they have a limited variety rather than both. Miss the cooler in the aisle of bakery department! Bring back please.
There is a TON of great stuff here being a super store! They do a great job of restocking so you generally dont find things theyre out of. However, there is hardly ever parking and this is not an easy place to quickly get in and out of. Its definitely worth a stop if you have time and their food is great!
Very large store with multiple items and diverse areas for all kinds of shopping. What ever your needs you will find something to meet those special or specific occasions be they daily, birthday, sympathy, or celebratory! Its like going to the mall, but you dont have to go to a lot of stores to find what you need or desire because its all in one store! Thank You Kroger and Associates!!!
Really nice supermarket for either a full grocery trip or a quick stop for a few essentials. You do need their card to take full advantage of all of their weekly sales, however. If you sign up, this place is very affordable - whereas if you ignore the card you wont get any of the sale prices and youll pay more than average for common items. It stays pretty busy so be prepared to deal with crowds.
One of the main Starbucks workers at this Kroger location (older lady with glasses) is always incredibly rude every time we go there. I’d rather wait in line at a stand alone Starbucks than give her my business.
I was shopping late at night and, every employee, who I encountered, asked if I was finding everything that I needed. Two employees also helped me to find items in the store. I found so many good deals and saved almost $100 with store specials and coupons. I love looking at the clothes and home decor items in this store and found some great deals on summer clearance clothing and purchased two unique decor items for my daughter for her birthday. Typically, this store is self-check at this time of the night, but, the employee working in the front of the store opened a check lane to ring my groceries which I appreciated so very much. She is also very very pleasant to chat with while checking out and, she had many helpful tips about grocery shopping which I also appreciated because it is not my favorite thing to do!
This is the Kroger that I have been shopping at regularly for the past 2 years. Overall I have always been very satisfied with this Kroger. They do a decent job of keeping things in stock. The only time I ever find it to be an issue is towards the end of the weekend when the produce seems to be picked over. The one big thing that I wish could be changed about this Kroger is the parking lot. It is way too small for the traffic that goes into this Kroger. However I realize there is not much that can be done about this due to the size of the lot. The cashiers and bagers are always very friendly. They are always quick to offer my children stickers as we check out. Overall I am very satisfied with this Kroger and will continue to shop here.
I used to hate this place. But I really like the Simple Truth brand. I still try to avoid parking here because theres the parking lot is a cluster. Always. With the population out here, they need to build another one farther out. Its insane. And one thing that really burned me was when my 5 year old wanted to buy a toy with money shed saved up. She had $14 in quarters, which is not a huge amount. We wait in the cashier checkout line after a couple people and when we get to the cashier, she tells us that we have to go to the self serve line because we had just change. Its not like it was $50 worth and all pennies. This place is my last resort and its only 2 blocks from my house. Oh yeah, if they made some sidewalks around the place so we could walk there in the summer, instead of getting trapped in that horrible parking lot, I might go there more.
This Kroger is better than the locations downtown, but it is still not cleanly and many of the deli workers seems unhappy/rude. I’d rather go to a local market.
You would think the shelves would be stocked a little better at 8am on a Sat. They were out of a few items that are on the front page of their weekly ad. So for the Campbells creamy soups, buy 10, I subbed a few of the reduced sodium, same price as all the other soups. Checked out, unable to get these, cashier says because these are a healthy option.
Parking is a disaster! (should be categorized as a FEMA disaster zone) long wait times in store, and prices not always better than competition
Christmas eve is probably the busiest day for them. There were 0 parking spots, but that was expected. After I found a spot, I got in and out pretty quickly, since I only needed 1 item. Used the u scan, and the attendant was helpful in directing people to the open ones.
I bought a salad for a dinner party and when it was opened the smell was so bad that I threw it away. The next day I called Kroger on Dupont and spoke with Joe about getting my money back/credit. He was so disrespectful to me and said he was not doing anything without the product. I informed him that I had to throw it away and his response was I hear you but without the product we will not do anything. I called the Corporate office and spoke with Brandon who was a true gentleman and gave me a $20 credit and called the store to talk with Joe. I have dealt with Joe before and his disrespect was the same.
Reasonable prices, great selection, quality of meat decent but not great have recently started their click and shop service it is good if not great... No lines us a plus and pick up at a convenient time. Plus if they are out an item you ordered, I they will substitute for the better product at no charge. I what I dont like is sometimes these substitutions dont make sense... I example substituting a 10 pack of chicken for a 4 pack of name brand.. I we have a family of 5 and that was going to be a meal not a snack
While the store itself is nice, the parking lot is a disaster. There is never a day or time that I have been there that it was easy to navigate the lot. During the holidays, you might as well park down the street because the lot fills up quickly leaving you roaming looking for a car that is leaving. Once inside it does not look like the store is over-crowded though. If they fixed the lot situation I would give 5 stars.
Very good store. Has a Starbucks inside that accepts your Kroger card for gas points. Pharmacy has a very friendly employees. Fast service and s great selection of products. Can do your order online and the pick up. My favorite store.:-)
This is our go-to grocery store-it has almost everything we need. The checkout lines sometimes take a while to get through but thats my only complaint. I enjoy the sample stations they have set up and I found a great recipe at one of them.
Self serve checkouts dont work. CEOs sons summer job was apparently to rearrange store. Ill give him a D-. No discernible benefit. Cant find anything. Ill give it one star because all employees are nice.
Excellent supermarket. Fresh high quality sushi bar with exotic sides to add to your meal, a very large cheese showcase, awesome house made sandwiches, hot food options as well as cold food at the deli, a nice selection of sea food, and a nice selection of meats such as duck breasts, bison, and lamb. Clothing and home section has items you wont want to leave behind, and about a dozen self serve checkout lanes makes a quick trip to the store painless and, well, quick! Friendly and knowledgeable staff will quickly find what youre looking for. One of the best kroger market places in town.
Self checkout is always good there. Sometimes there can be a line. During the busiest times (after work), they always open extra cashiered lanes. Go to one of them. The biggest issue there is that the parking lot is always crazy. Be careful. It does drive me crazy that the bag kids have no idea what they are doing. I purposefully place all my frozen and refrigerator items together and they mix them all up. Same with the heavy and light items.
Nice store and layout. Good selection of produce and meat. I like the new layout. Staff is usually helpful. I only have one problem with the store/location and that is parking. On the weekend its so crowded that I usually have to park over by the hardware store and walk with all my groceries!
Grabbed a quick lunch here. They have a variety of great food and it was very delicious. Although it was a little pricey.
This has been the only Kroger that I go to in Fort Wayne. Theyve got better variety than any other supermarket Ive been to in the town. I only hope they had better variety of international foods but Ive found out that its same anywhere in America. (At least they had marmite!) Im looking forward to driving to DuPont and drop by there. :)
I hate the new popcorn machine! You walk into the store and right next to the receiving desk is a popcorn section. Then, you are hit with this greasy popcorn smell. To make this even worse, it is right next to the produce section! I was trying to buy fresh carrots and was annoyed with the smell! I know they are trying to get customers more hungry to buy more stuff. However, I find this sort of tactic low and sad. When I want to buy fresh produce I dont want popcorn grease all over my food. Do Fort Wayne a favor and get rid of this bad idea and desprate attempt to make more money.---sincerely The Human Race
My favorite place to grocery shop. I can find things here that I cant find at other stores. They also have the best selection of gluten free products.
This is a pretty nice Kroger. They have a new scan-as-you go feature that should be pretty nifty once we get the gist of it.
We go here for all of our grocery needs. We always find good deals, and the produce is always very fresh. The only bad thing about this location is the parking lot. Its always a bit full. There arent very many spots available
Long wait times, almost always short or stale produce at high prices. Poorly run.
Fantastic store, in fact their popularity is their downfall as they are very short on parking... the only negative to this location. They are attempting to build a east DuPont location and that should help. Is it possible to be too popular?
Great store, parking lot is chaotic.
The parking lot here is the worst at a Kroger. I wont shop in the store because of it. I will do click list. The store over by me screws up my order every time. At least here they mostly get my order right. Not 100%. Maybe 75% correct. They dont have enough help though. The last two times it took between 25 and 45 minutes to get my groceries. They had sent everyone to shop, and left one person to bring it groceries. If it happens again, Ill switch to a different grocery store. There are plenty that would like my business. They clearly dont.
The store was very busy and still received great customer service. I needed assistance with a price and the lady working in the chip aisle was more than happy to help me. Just wanted to say thank you!
Large grocery store with nice meat area. They seem to rearrange often. However, it is over crowded. Also, the store shoppers (as in employees filling the click list orders) and stockers cut me off repeatedly while trying to go down aisles or get products.
I dont know whats happening here but I feel like they are constantly out of stock of something simple like their own brand of bread. Its unfortunate because I used to enjoy this store. I will just go to Meijer until the new Kroger is built closer to me. This store isnt worth the drive any longer.
Not always enough check out lanes for more than 15 items. They move products in the store too often. I spend too much time hunting for what I need. I want to get in and out. I have other errands to run. Also, store is way too big nowt. I go for groceries not clothing & home furnishings, etc. There are stores that are less expensive for that or that I can comparison shop.
I love the atmosphere of the store.. always fresh products.. they never have enough lanes open which causes long lines
There is a large variety of items at the store, unfortunately many of which are challenging to find. There was a spill in the store and an associate began sprinkling some type of powder while my newborn & I were checking out. I let two men who worked at the store know how uncomfortable that situation made me, only to have one of them yell at me as I walked away “ your baby is just fine.” While that is likely true, I still reserved the right to express my feelings without being treated in such a disrespectful way. I’ll definitely be visiting alternate locations in the future.
Its a Kroger Marketplace. For food, fresh sushi, fresh rotating entrees, and a great sandwich department make it a great prepped meal source that you wont tire of. Its also a nice grocery/superstore.
I have been around Krogers stores for many, many years. Their store on Dupont Road in Fort Wayne ranks in my personal list. Friendly folks, clean, good lighting, excellent deli, meat/ butcher area just a great shopping experience exactly what I expect from the big K folks.
Store was clean and well stocked..pharmacy did not drugs on hand and I will need to come another day for pickup..poorly stocked pharmacy.
Nice, clean store with friendly staff. The only issue is that they seem to be stocking or order-pulling in the busiest time of the day which clogs up the isles and makes it difficult to navigate. Maybe wider isles might relieve some of that congestion.
This is my favorite Kroger in all of fort Wayne. The customer service is amazing. Some employees ask if you need help finding things. Store is clean unlike most Krogers
Quick ....pick up a few things.... shopping trip. Friendly employees for the most part. Parking lot is busy and congested. Could use more parking spots for sure.
Went there last night to pick up 4 things for dinner. I went through the self checkout lane and realized I had forgotten my rewards card. I asked the customer service attendant for the aisle, if I could use hers and she said she said she not have any I could use.Thinking the cheese I was going to buy was on sale I went to my car for my car keys. I did not have the nes with my Kroger card on them. Tried my phone number inside on the checkout machine. It did not work. After all this, I used another mans card. Left with al my groceries, but forgot my cheese there.Usually the store is wonderful. We love it.
Our cashier was amazing always smiling very patience never complains and her name was Susie I hope you can get more people like her she truly is a standout
Superb shopping experience. Everyone always seems eager to assist you too!
Since the reset the layout is inconvenient for customers, trying to enhance impulse buys. Dropped many name brands replaced with store brand but not same product. This store no longer cares about the customer experience, they are busy and obviously dont feel like they need you.
Good stuff!! Still dont understand the concept of buying clothes here though? Could have more beer in that space instead.
Great
Very nice store. A little of everything is there. Very clean and well stocked. Their clothing looks very nice.
Great variety from gourmet foods to housewares & clothing. Good selection enjoyable experience.
Very well run, clean and friendly.
Used to shop here all the time before it became the marketplace. Not so much any more. Very hard to get in and out of. Parking lot is difficult to navigate. They are constantly moving things around and I spend more time looking for items then actually shopping. They must do very well with their Check List program as you are always trying to work your way around the employees and carts doing this service. Not my favorite grocery storeany more.
Only two cashiers.. took twenty plus minutes to checkout!!!!!
Great staff, clean, well stocked store. Awesome floral department. Definitely use your Kroger card
We have only lived in Fort Wayne for about 2 weeks and have been to this location about 10 times already. I will miss Publix but it is safe to say we are Kroger people now!
Out of a few products that I buy regularly: Kroger Sugar free Hazelnut coffee creamer, Dannon light& Fit orignal Greek toasted coconut vanilla yogurt, & Spot decaf whole bean coffee. This seems to be happening a lot.😞
Grewt store! All employees are nice and Helpful! I am loving the Scan & Go!
Better options compared to other Krogers in Fort Wayne. For example, they usually stock Millers Amish whole chicken. Others dont, not sure why but its only about another 5 minute drive from our local Kroger on St. Joe Ctr. Rd.
If you go to get something written on your cake do not do it here. It may be free but it looks terrible, it’s better to do it yourself at home. Along with that the service is slow and inefficient.
Very pricey. The manager and staff come across very snobby and rude. The parking is terrible and it is not a family friendly environment. I think they manager needs re-training on customer empathy!
Great variety. Clean store. Wish the parking lot had more room.
Beautiful, clean store. Wide variety of quality products. Employees come off as a bit disconnected from customers at times. Store is big and sometimes hard to navigate because of layout of store and number of customers.
Great customer service. Friendly employee at the checkout and groceries bag for us. It is an old-school experience and appreciated.
Love this store. Always able to get in and out quick. I try not to interact with any of the employees. The clicklist employees are quite agressive when shopping for others and its best to stay out of their way in all Krogers.
Good wine prices. Where are the staff to assist in locating products? Guessing mgt feels the overhead signage is enuf. Wanted to check out and 4 lanes, at least were not open? Went to deli and one person was taking care of cust while others busied themselves not attending to 3 of us waiting. Not impressed!
Everything looks good to eat. People who work there are very cheerful.
They have everything, including clothes(?) and jewelry(?). Things are spread out pretty far, and the staggered arrangement of the aisles is somewhat confusing. Its like a Wal-mart but not as cleanly organized, and also a little bit nicer. I shop here often.
Best grocery store in the area, amazing produce and deli sections. With wide variety of bakery, cheese, and seafood.
I love the store. Convenient location. Baggers need to be trained how to bag groceries
Love this store! Great prices, friendly staff, and a fantastic deli department!
Good clean place, the only real complaint is the prices but thats compared to Walmart
I purchased flowers from the floral section and when I politely asked the clerk at that counter what the prices where for two types of bouquets she was rude and unfriendly acting inconvenienced at having to scan the item to find the price. I believe she could stand to be more kind, she is being paid to be there after all.
Krogers on DuPont Rd. Is the bed...Have hot lunch plus salad sandwich shop... Great bakery...We shop there often.
This store always has every item Im looking for from unique cheeses to fresh salmon and many other items. Their staff is always attentive and very friendly.
Thinking. service. Quality products. Decent prices.
I really hate to do this, I never write reviews but seriously, the customer service here is completely lacking. For the past two times I have come here whether it was at the deli or in the self checkout lane nothing but attitude and snark. Especially from the 512 checkout girl. I tried to void some items and she only only completed one of my items when she realized that i still needed help she retorted with I ASKED you if you voided all the items highly inappropiate especially for the area you are operating in. Krogers deserves to go under once whole foods comes
Parking could be better. Busy place. Good popcorn
Clean and friendly but the store is too big for the parking lot. The lot is not big enough. I edited my original review. I love the store but get frustrated every time I pull in the parking lot.
This is a very cheap store for high quality food. If you want home good I recommend you go to Walmart
