Frequent this store regularly...careful going to this store at certain times midday...not many lanes will be opened...the electronics section will also take longer to get assistance if needed.... unfortunately covid has affected the candy aisle here....but I still dig this place regardless...

Cart racks in the lot were overflowing into driving lanes, 2 registers open at 5 pm. Stock was low or gone but I understand between shipping and staffing issues. Aisles were clean and clutter free, and we were able to get most of the items we needed.

I bought some chicken tenders and mashed potatoes from the deli and the chicken was old and rock hard and the potatoes had hardly any flavor.

I visit this Walmart more than any other in Fort Wayne partly for the convenient location and because it is clean and huge. Great place to find daily deals and get food deliveries and worth a stop if youre in the area visiting the mall etc.

One of the cleaner, well stocked stores. At this location, you arent followed by LP, (I wasnt, others are and its not a racial thing. The store Im referring to, has a lot of questionable people). Anyway, this one is nicer, staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

I had a great visit to this location this past weekend. Im from out of town from Lubbock, TX. The store employees were very helpful to my needs. I bought a couple pairs of bundles of socks for 2 dollars each. Great clearance deals.

Not always the cleanest or the most welcoming but its Walmart. you come in get what you need and get out.

Customer service is not taught. People who work there are rude. Those stocking shelves or getting pick up orders ready expect customer to get out of the way instead of waiting for customer. Only having one lane open to check out to force people to use self checkout.If you do get a person to check out, they dont speak. They dont say thank you. Not all of them are this way, but majority are.Shelves have not been stocked well. Not blaming store since help has been hard to find. Not to mention their vendors are having same issues.

I was in my wheelchair and we were looking for the wheelchairs that you provided, unfortunately there wasnt any because of Some of the people in the wheelchair were sitting there talking to each other. I think that you should have a limit time for those who are using them In the store. I just got out of the hospital I had to get groceries so I was Willing myself in my wheelchair elevate my leg . I get to the checkout lane there was situation with a gift card they cannot get it through the system so it took 3 managers to trying to get this situation taken care .I was sitting there for 20 minutes in line. The sad part about all of this is the cashier kept apologizing but The Managers did not even acknowledge me or Apologized for this Is situation. Not one word from the managers theyve seen that I was in pain and they ignored me.they I will never come to your store again .

Its walmart get in get what you need get out. The longer you stay youll end seeing something you didnt want too see

This was a visit as drop in and see if they have it lol. To my surprise, they did. Other location was out of the big bag of life saver wint O green. Great candy.

Quick in quick out and they had everything I was looking for which is novel right now!

Self check out area is a bit crowded. Things put back in the wrong spot all over and many messes. Isle lay out a bit confusing (chips spread out in 2 different areas on opposite ends, etc.). Hard to find workers around the store for help. Parking lot is very small and hard to navigate. But being a super center there was more product to choose from.

Food is cheaper here than at Krogers. But Krogers has fresher fruits and a larger variety.

Love shopping at any walmart because of convenience and prices but whats the sense if putting in all those registers; only run 2; then turn around and convert to u scans.

This store severely needs maintenance upgrades. The bathrooms are a disgrace.. The produce us usually in poor shape. An upside is that Ive never had a problem with the staff and they are helpful when needed.

I admit I am biased. I believe in keeping humans as cashiers. But... Only one check lane open at one of the busiest stores in Ft Wayne.????? Really??? Even at 9 p.m. you all should know better. And clean your store up. I mean cmon.

Very traditional for a Walmart. The shelves were a bit empty during my visit, but Id blame that more on current world events and less on the establishment itself. Admittedly, the few staff I interacted with (i.e. gentlemen stocking, cashier) seemed to have very low morale. My visit was during late 2nd/early 3rd shift, so its possible that the management team could reassess how they engage and interact with those team members and validate the work theyve doing.

If you go in there you are on your own. Their bagged ice is almost never in stock. Check the cooler before you buy it or youll be standing in another line for to long to get a refund.

I have shopped the Apple Glen since it was built 20 plus years it was every Friday night deal. My wife and have met very friendly people there. It has always been a very nice Wal-Mart until about 4 to 5yrs ago. Now you have employees that just dont care and the ones that do care and are willing to help are over shadowed by the ones that dont. It is a shame to watch.i have went into other Wal-Marts and they are nice and put together and you can tell that management cares. I know COVID has a little do with stocking issues but its weird that other stores dont have these issues.

Absolutely horrible! Had to get my car out of the lot, none inside. Half or more of the items on the shelves were empty. Only 2 registers open, each with 10-15 people in line....Walmart is quickly becoming an embarrassment to the retail industry.Time to shop at Aldi and Target

I like that walmart has cheap prices but i dont always like buying fruit and meat there. I noticed it spoils faster than if i go to another store like Kroger or Meijer. Staff has always bern friendly to me. Nice people who work here. And im there alot.

The store, as I can always remember, Allways stay pretty stocked up...even in times like now with the coronavirus nineteen [19th edition U.S.A. outbreak] going on, they stay stocked up with mostly All the items that we most need at Home 🏡 right now. Possibly with only the exception of super-hot-items... so it is a place you can go and definitely get what you need no problem. They stay PREPARED, and also We as a State are doing Our part in Keeping Americans as S A F E as Possible by practicing safe-distancing & the proper Use of masks in ALL COMMON AREAS of Our GREAT City and also whenever We are on any Public or Private Properties. Need more help in customer service area. It’s always ONE person working when there’s a line almost to the entrance doors.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. Its obvious that people need to start working again.The Service Center was closed because they had one person running it. The center coolers were empty. There were so many boxes waiting to be stocked in the center aisle that you had to go to the end to cross into the rest if the store.If I wanted to bag groceries Id get a job there. I dont get a discount when I bag my own.

It was OK. Seemed to be low stock or out of stock on all kinds of items, but this is probably the the busiest Walmart in Allen county.

I like Walmart its a good place to get everything you need in one spot, but I liked it more when it was open 24 hours ...To many people shopping in the hours that its open now, I feel rushed and crowded...I personally like shopping early hours befor work or really late when not so crowded

Not very wide selections of products and they run out of stuff pretty often. Cant wait until they open back up 24/7.

The gentleman that helped me at the phone center and the electronics department was top notch going above and beyond his responsibilities and duties to help me out with my new phone. They turned me on to a good deal with T-Mobile Sprint and Im very happy with my purchase and experience

Do not come here with the intention of a quick purchase 15 minutes before closing at 11 PM.Entry is barred by employees at this location, stopping customers from entering the store and turning them away at a quarter till 11 PM. Im not certain if any earlier than that.Either the hours of operation need to be changed to 10:30 PM or honor your existing posted hours.Customers are only turned away angry knowing that other stores do not operate this way. A gentle 15, 10, and 5 minute in-store reminder works just fine at Meijer and Target.BTW, Meijer is still open until midnight, so just go there and save yourself the hassle. Walmart will be open to take your money in the morning.

Employees are very rude!!! My son mistakenly bought the wrong Visa gift card and it was trying to explain what happened... They did not care and were rude... So the gift card was the last thing that we will ever purchase at Walmart ever again... I know you have hundreds of people that shop there so losing my business wont affect you any... But I will encourage my friends not to shop at Walmart... And I will never shop there again...

Rediculous receipt checking audit policy (or i assume as they were checking receipts at random) and understocked products. Was held at the door for 15 minutes because we had trouble finding the receipt making my girlfriend anxious and drop things trying to find it (I asked to speak with the manager, but we found the receipt before hand). I would have stayed to have my complaint heard, but we were already running late. Probably should have Venmod the money instead of having different receipts, but we did 3 different checks.Also their soft drink isle was almost completely empty and we couldnt get any cream soda. Sure on fathers day things will be purchased more, but management should anticipate and prepare for thatShameful.

This is a decent Walmart, as far as Walmart’s go. The selection of houseplants and outdoor plants is fair, but not spectacular. For this side of the city, I was expecting more shrubs, climbing vines, and trees. The outdoor furniture, cushions, and decor was low in stock as well.But...other departments are adequately stocked, and the bathrooms are decent as well.

I was looking for a bed frame. Although the item showed in-stock on-line, I couldnt find it when I got to the store. I asked one of the managers for help and he was less than professional and just kept mumbling it might be on a truck. I went home and just ordered it for pickup the next day. Wal-Mart cancelled the order shortly before pickup time. This particular store is horrible for customer service and I keep saying I shouldnt go back.

Only two electric carts in the whole store shortened my shopping experience...

We got an oil change from the Walmart on Lima Rd and they spilled oil allover the engine during an oil change the shop manager was great he got the car right in and verified no oil leaks and cleaned the spilled oil off personality he really cared and made getting cars worked on at Walmart but only going there from now on

I needed to get a watch battery because my Casio died - but when I asked an associate of Walmart she asked me if I had purchased the watch from them. I said, no and the lady said they only replace batteries from watches sold by them.

It was cool. However I was at customer service standing for over 28 mins to cash my check. Nobody came or even alert the person who works that station. I was the 1st person in line and only me in the beginning. Ended with 9 people behind me.

Was next door at Best Buy and product out of stock, but would be there tomorrow if ordered so I came to Walmart... Was told product I waited on would be unloaded from truck at 4pm yesterday. I waited 1hr 50 minutes and they said it wasn’t on truck and to come back at 4pm next day. I came and waited till 5:15pm and told by assistant manager and general manager that it wouldn’t be ready till later tonight and no guarantees. Birthday boy will be disappointed greatly because of this stores inability to be honest with customers!!!

I scheduled a pickup order but did not come during my appointment time due to bad weather and road conditions. I arrived the following day and had no trouble picking up my items, and they were able to provide everything. The woman who brought my groceries was very friendly and quick.

Loss prevention seems to loiter around and stalk the pretty ladies quite excessively I have noticed, at least with the fruity looking young ones. But hey they have everything anyone wants so they can make up their own rules. Sometimes they threaten their entrepreneurial and business type customers with trespassing charges as well, I have seen that more than once. Also they enacted a new LAW only ONE POKEMON TCG or BASEBALL collector item per person. No warning or good reason other than they dont like people lining up to buy their products, strange, yeah??

Man, I dont know what happened to this location, but it seems like its heading to dumpy town USA? I lived on this side of town when they first put this location up. And it was the nicest and cleanest one in town. Now I live out north but was on that side of town yesterday so I stopped in for some funyuns and a cheesecake. And I was like this place went way down. Most of the shelves were under stocked, and the whole store just had a definite ghetto vibe to it. Maybe management is lax IDK? Either way its walmart so its not like I was expecting a lot, its just sad cause I remember how nice it was back in the day.

Bought the tire warranty ...and just like clockwork... Walmart REFUSED to honor the warranty.But they were more than willing to sell me 4 new tires, in lieu of repairing ONE tire. These were less than a year old!Never again!!!!!!

The Employees were super helpful and would recommend Walmart to anyone and everyone.

Downsizing the jewelry section was a bad idea. Alot of people like to get nice fine jewelry, but with it being downsized that isnt possible. Only junk jewelry is put out there now. That just makes me go online or to high end jewelry stores that much more. Sorry but it is the truth.

I found a double clothes rack online, it showed this store had 3. I drove all the way there, they were not on the floor and I could not find a worker to go look in the back room. I was told the backroom is a dump, I dont work back there and you cant find anything back there. Terrible service from this store. I wont go back again

The employees seem overworked and stressed out. They are asked to do way to much, cover way too many responsibilities at once. Completely understaffed. They have a decent selection but there are always a few things the are regularly out of the stock unless you are there while they are putting them on the shelves. No fresh deli items. Any time you need help it seems like you are asking for a limb. Its fine if you want to have a full store experience with no one bothering you and you plan to do self check out! Lol! Lines are regularly a half hour wait in the afternoon.

Always out of everything. How is it 545pm and there are no chickens and none being made... no carts.. this is why I shop at Kroger. wow.

Walmart has always been a good reasonable place to shopFrom phones to toys to clothes and groceries. I even have my prescriptions there. Nice people too!

First, the parking lot. Lord no. The spots are awkward and the pot holes you can live in. Second, the staff always is not available to help (dont get me started on trying to get something from the deli) and the produce area can be a nightmare. Even for a wal-mart, this on isnt great.

Bad enough that I have to check myself out but a coupon from the front of a package wouldn’t scan. The employee at the self check Couldn’t get it to scan nor could she get anyone to come handle the problem. She asked me if I wanted her to get someone. I’m pretty sure I don’t want to pay a dollar more than I need to because the coupon won’t scan. No one came. I had to go find a CSM myself and get rude to get her to come take care of the problem. Frustrating.

I stopped an associate ( Kari or Julie?) that happened to be walking by. I was looking for a Hand Held Steamer. There wasnt any on the shelf. She checked in the back but did not find any even though her hand held stated one in stock. I asked and she also checked and let me know one was shown in stock @ the Appleglen location and also @ the StRd 27 location.She also checked the price of some towels for me. I did purchased the two bath towels. And I appreciate the extra time and customer service she gave. I did purchase one of the steamers @ the StRd 27 location.

Excellent as are virtually all Walmart stores. Mask policy has been rescinded for vaccinated persons as of 5/15.

The girls that work the curbside pickup are very nice and should be allowed to accept tips. They really work hard and are always very nice.

I order grocery pickup every week from this location. The associates are on top of it. They come right and have youth loaded and on your way so fast. These guys are the best! The inside pickup is just as fast.

Its always a hit or miss here. But as the Pandemic hit I dont think Walmart has handled it as well as they could have. For instance, they have one entrance open. The other is closed. That makes absolutely no sense. If anything youd want to keep people as every distributed as possible, right? And theres hardly any registers open anymore. When you have a cart full of things, you want an actual cashier right? Id say if half of your lanes are closed you should invest in more self checkouts. This is only my opinion though. The only positive thing I can say about walmart is that you can usually find what youre needing, and half the time the greater is nice. The occasional drama in the waiting line is fun too.

A nice Wal-Mart. Friendly staff. I like the option of self-checkout, because I never buy much so its a lot quicker. 👍

Called...rang and rang... they picked up and hung up several times before I finally talked to someone. I didnt even say anything. When I got an associate customer service. They were rude and unprofessional.Need major customer service training. Sent to electronic dept. Several times no answer..

Went shopping with my 20 yr old whos 29 weeks pregnant and they refused to sell me whos 40 yrs old alcohol cuz she was with me... That is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard... Lost my money period and I was going there 5 times a week at least spending plenty of money there...Meijers here I come...smh

The Associate who works in the garden center, Linzey, was super helpful. Knows his area thats for sure. I asked him how long hes been working for Walmart and he said, Sometimes I feel like I actually live here! Great to see that kind of dedication. Linzey showed me the seed display to grow my own plants and he recommended the Stink Pickles. Cant wait to grow them in my own garden! He was also nice enough to ring up my Stink Pickle seeds, a salad bowl, and some gaming cards right there on the spot!

Not the cleanest Walmart Ive been in. By far. But its a trade off when you want lots of cheap stuff.

Better selections than Lima Road. Also have better fabric/craft department. Just wish there were more than 2 checkouts with clerks. I had a few items and was behind 3 other customers whos carts were very full.
