We needed some patterned glass for kitchen cabinets and went to two different companies who both dropped us on our heads repeatedly conversely, I walked into City Glass and they brought out samples of what they would suggest and they had tons of great options. Pricing was a little steep but well worth it. The glass was ready when they said it would be. Couldnt be happier

For my most recent purchase, they had great ideas to improve the final product and they saved me considerable expense. And we got the it within a couple days.For this project, my wife had first taken the project to Precision Glass on Illinois Road. We had never used them, but she was in the neighborhood. The counter clerk knew nothing and after two weeks of we should have a quote soon..., we just gave up on them.Save yourself money, time and get the best solution at CGS.

The staff is friendly but the communication on contacting me was horrible. They did not come out on the scheduled date. I had to call to figure out why. When they did come out to measure the glass that needed cut, I was told that I would get a call when install date would be made. It never happened. I had to call again a few days later to figure out that the glass was a week an half out. I understand that they have no control on when they can get the glass. Im sure they do good work but I ended up canceling my repair due to the lack of communication with me. Like I said friendly but had to call several times to figure out what was going on.

Went to City Glass after a terrible experience with ONeil Glass. Mark understood exactly what I needed for my custom shower door and literally gave me a drawing with measurements and a rough price in under 15 minutes.

OUTSTANDING!!!! Be sure to call around. I called ONeils Glass to get a quote on a piece of clear glass 1/4 thick with beveled edges for a desk top and they quoted me $53. It seemed very high to me so I called around and City Glass was very knowledgeable and quoted be $28 plus tax for the exact same glass. I ordered it and was ready in about 3 days. VERY PLEASED!!!!! Great job! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for glass!

Custom orders is what they do. I needed a new vanity mirror for my truck. The only way to get one through Nissan was to buy a whole new visor but City glass cut me a new mirror for a fraction of the cost. They also custom cut a mirror for an antique dresser and it helped me save a cherished 120 year old piece of furniture. Highly recommend.

I dont have many glass needs, so after a glass shelf broke in our curio cabinet, I called City Glass, hoping they could help me. Cathy, the person who answered the phone, was very helpful by asking me the right questions, figured out I was talking about a glass shelf, and recommended that I get a slightly thicker piece of glass. So I ordered it and they had it ready when she said they would A smooth transaction with a business that was helpful. A++

They quickly and accurately measured the frame and glass, and taped the glass so the pieces would stay in place and prevent rain and bugs from getting in the house. then I took it back home for two weeks while the new one was ordered. two days later I broke the window next to it while mowing the grass. called city glass asked to double the order, I took both broken windows in today, the double glass panel with grids were installed and within a couple hours my front window was sealed tight. I expected to pay additional tax or labor above the quote. But was pleasantly surprised when the amount quoted was the final bill. Over all an easy pleasant experience and will go back for all my glass needs.I gave them 4 stars because they did what they were supposed to do, and did it well. However there was nothing above and beyond,

This place is amazing! I needed a window replaced on my car. It was completely busted out, and was temporarily covered with plastic and duct tape. I did not have to make an appointment. I just dropped it off at 8 am and two hours later it was done. The new window looks great! They also vacuumed all the glass they could. I was not expecting this, but they even cleaned the duct tape residue off the car for me! It was done for a very reasonable price - much much less than I thought it was going to be. Thank you, City Glass Specialty, for making this repair job an easy one. If you want fast and friendly service, go to these guys :)

Gave me wrong glass had it tinted took to my house found out it was wrong size. Called them . I had to go back get my glass and told them I had it tinted and had a realtor waiting for walk throughWe paid 74.00 for other window they told me it was same price no compensation for trouble and I live out of town. Not sure why they have a 4 out of 5 ratingNot good would of said 0 but not an option

Ive had to use them several times for window glass. Theyve been fast and reasonably priced every time. I really appreciate the fast service! Nobody wants to live with a board on the window any longer than necessary.

I repair windows fairly regularly and have been buying glass from here for nearly 10 years. ALWAYS a pleasure working with this company.

Work done incorrectly, requiring another trip to return product, then another trip to pick up another day. At least an apology would have been nice. Will try to find another resource next time.Update: When we went in to pick up, an employee did apologize for the inconvenience. However, when we asked about possibly getting a discount for the extra trips required, the employee stated that wasnt likely since we gave them a one-star review. Actually, it was a two-star review. Now its one.

Very disappointed in the company. I sent in all the information asked for regarding year, make and model of vehicle as well as what glass needed replaced. About a week later I inquired about making an appointment only to be told the price would be nearly double what had been quoted initially. Very shady business practice. I would definitely not recommend this company as one to entrust your vehicle to.
