ATTENTION READERS - BE AWARE. THIS COMPANY RETALIATES. Theyve put a bad review under the company I work for and used my name in the review, breaching privacy Act. Please read Vancouver Mitsubishi review posted by Rebuild Master Tech people with access to their Google account. It is pure retaliation. Its true. We sent struts for rebuild but they did a really bad job. I work at Vancouver Mitsubishi and stated the truth in this review. I get a bad review on my website because they did a really bad job. see my pictures.Addition to 1st comment:Im glad you pointed out the fact that the part number I indicated on my email dated June 24th is wrong. I did this on purpose to see if you notice it and comment about. The Idea here is that you acknowledge in your reply you have received my email on the 24th of June but didnt have the courtesy to reply as of today, July 13th 2021.I added a picture with the actual strut that is all wet. Once we take it out of the vehicle, I will take pictures and attach here to validate my concerns. One of your employee (dont want to give names here) have said that I will be contacted shortly. I have even given my cell phone number. Again, I have yet to wait.Im happy you did research. At least you know that Im for real and not faking a review. As a business man, to another one, I hope that you will consider discussing this matter and figure out a middle ground for resolution.BTW... newly attached pictures are from the strut that leaked out on the floor of the shop.Dont even think about it. Save your money. Just lost US 1887 with them.I sent the four (4) struts taken out from a 2009 SL65 to be rebuild because they were leaking oil. I had to pay two way freight from Canada to Florida. No problem there. After receiving the struts, I have mounted all four on the vehicle. For some reason, the right front would not calibrate (no concerns prior to send the struts for rebuilding). Contacted RMT and was recommended to send back the defective strut (pay again two way freight from Canada to FL). After two weeks I received the RF strut, installed it on the car and made another attempt to calibrate suspension. No go, same thing, strut will not calibrate. After further investigation, we determined that the RF strut was sent wrong to us. The one received back from RMT was from a non pneumatic version of SL65 model. I contacted RMT and explained them the situation. I was suggested to put a claim on their website, which I did on the very same day. Three (3) weeks later, no action taken by RMT nor have been contacted in any ways. After few weeks of awaiting for a reply from RMT, I gave up and decided to purchase one new right front strut from the local dealership. After installation of the RF strut we took another attempt for suspension calibration. Just before bringing the vehicle into the shop, the left front strut gushed out the entire oil and left front side sagged down. We are stuck at this point and speechless, without knowing what to do anymore, after spending so much money in vain. I will end up buying a new left front strut from the dealership as I am no longer interested to waste anymore time and money in freight and rebuilds. We already paid so far (inclusive of all freight charges) US 1877 (CAD 2552.72), money that just went out the window. This was the worse decision I have ever made and regret it 2552.72 times. Should have read reviews before deciding to do business with RMT.Conclusion? Just listen to others reviews, if mine dont matter.Dont waste you money like I did. buy somewhere else.

After being quoted $5600 to replace both of my front air struts on my 2014 Hyundai Equus from the Hyundai dealership, I searched for an alternative. I quickly found Rebuild Master Tech (in Ft. Lauderdale Florida)after a web search. I called and connected with Nicole, she identified my problem and offered me a solution that literally saved me $4000.The dealership did the labor and said the struts looked brand new, and they perform as if they are new. My car rides GREAT! The parts come with a lifetime warranty. I’m very happy with my dealings with Rebuild Master Tech. Be sure and ask for NICOLE, she is fantastic to work with, really knows her stuff!

Not great for me...bought a front pair of struts for my Phaeton. New right strut was leaking from the get go. RMT sent a replacement with just a core charge, and the replacement appears to be fine, but RMT refused to assist with the installation charges to replace the defective unit. I had to pay installation twice for that right side. I can understand not covering labor if their product goes bad after some time has elapsed, but they sent me a defective unit and it ended up costing me an extra $400. Poor customer service in my opinion...

Trying to get a replacement at the Audi dealer......well, lets just say its not an option. For about $300 I got a beautiful rebuilt unit and I return my old one, you make that super simple. Just replaced my front driver side shock on my 2014 Bentley speed that i got from this company for the third time in less than 6 months ( first shock i bought in 10-2020, blew up in no time and got second one in dec 2020 and this one leaked last week 5-2021). This time i got wise and got it from Arnott as i have for years before and never had a single issue and use RMTs defective one as core return. Total cost for this third time is another $1100 and change. Sure maybe i could have return this one to them for another rebuild and take the chance of spending another $1100 down the road but i am not going to deal with them ever again due to the horrific quality and service i experience before and the overall bad attitude. Watch this folks, owner will not apologize and offer any help. they will most likely attack me and make excuses for their poor quality like saying they sold thousands and i am the only one that have issue with the same shock 3 times. blah blah blah...that is pretty much what i come to expect and if you read any negative reviews they have, and there are plenty, it will always be it is your fault, never their. So i rather toss a few hundreds away by not asking for an other exchange, that is how bad these people are base on previous experience. Oh and for the owner, no one is hiding, i have many offices and each have diff computer and i also have multiple cell so depends on which one i log onto, the account is different, but glad you think i need to have different account for all the bad experience i have with your company. would it make any difference is all my verifiable bad review came from the same account? does that make you a better or worse business to deal with. you need to wake up! oh if you think i unjustly defamed you, please file a law suit to clear your name.

Horrible business to deal with!! Beware buyers, they will use your money to do business.I placed an order on 01/23 one week later no news about my order, I called to get information, they told me that my order in process. I asked them to cancel my order, after 18 days I haven’t received my $885.00 I called and they promised me to refund the money soon.DON’t do any business with them. They are not reliable and I’m so glad I didn’t do any business with them, imagine if I have to return an item what will be the process??????Keep this in mindAs of today 02/18/2021, I havent received my refund! So you have been holding my money for almost a Month.Buyers, read the review here and also @ Yelp before you buy anything from them.As of today 03/02/2021 you didn’t issue any refund!!This is really bad for your business reputation. I’m not sure if you are an owner or just worker but by doing that you are destroying your business. You must be honest, accurate and don’t hold people’s money to conduct business with.

6 months ago, I had Rebuild Master Tech rebuild both rear Air Struts on my 07 Audi A8L W12. Im pleased to report that they still holding up perfectly well and perform exactly as Brand New - OEM Audi. When I picked them up, although these were my exact ones returned to me, they looked Out of the Box, Brand New, just as if I bought them brand new, directly from Audi. I am very fussy about my car and these folks have never let me down. The office staff is very kind and professional as well as the technical folks in the back. It is obvious that they are very proud of their finished product and 2 of the techs actually came out from the back to talk to me, while they were beaming proudly. Ive used this company several times in the past and Ive referred others as well, some from various locations around the US and everyone including myself could not be happier. Trust these folks! They really know what they are doing. Thanks!

So the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I didn’t read the full description when I bought the product online “big mistake”. I only had a problem with the waiting period on the refund status, and I understand the hardships of small business but at the end of the day they need to update their accounting department. It took 16 business days to get my full refund and in today’s market that is unacceptable! If it wasn’t for the great people who helped me this would be a one star review everybody that I talk to at this company was friendly Caring and understanding.

Terrible company. Ordered left and right airstrut for my MB SUV. The rebuild left had a clunking sound. And the right has a airleak at the top. When you ship overseas you need to be sure the parts is good. Ebay solution senter helped me to get refund the money for left. For the right i havent done anything. But i lost 400 dollar for import wat to my country, and i hadd to pay my local indy for insert and take out the bad parts. I will never, ever recomend any to shop from this company. This is scam company. And read this, i when i realised i dont got the money back, å opened up the clunking strut, just to figure out what was making the noise.. The reason was the nut holding the shock absorber in top was 1,5 wrenches lose. Rebuild mastertech had not thigthened the nut anough. Tirrible remanufacturing, and i lost much money. Stay away.

RMT rebuilt my Mercedes front air shocks. Although the rebuild was still quite expensive, it was cheaper than any alternative. The shocks had a small leak when I received them back after being rebuilt, but I contacted the company and they corrected the issue quickly. They have been back on my car for 8 months without issue. I will keep RMT in mind if I need shocks to be rebuilt again.

A mixed experience: One reconditioned strut leaked but RMT replaced it promptly, unfortunately with a strut that had a faulty electrical connection. The result was two additional remove and refit operations plus additional calibrating that added up to an unexpected additional fitting bill of around $600, which RMT does not compensate. This was still cheaper than new replacements, but the car was off the road for 2 weeks. Surely, it must be possible to check for leaks and electrical conducting before shipping the parts?

Im not Ebay savvy and I placed a bad review thinking that was my only source for contact. Darlene answered immediately/professionally and sent another part the next day free of charge (even though the post office lost the part). She also politely informed me that I should have used the contact seller icon before placing a bad review (I was unaware that my review could not be changed (I thought it could once resolved) and I felt terrible). FIRST! Dig the response from the owner! This company has a 20% waste our time fee. They called me as a liar, feeling entitled and wasting their time because I overnighted an order and decided to cancel it the next day before it was delivered after not needing it. I must have really struck a nerve, lol. You are buying your parts from a very unprofessional business. They dont even do email notifications, lol. Just imagine after the spending hundreds of $$$ and something changes or goes wrong with the part and you have to go back to them....geeeezzz. Wow, Ill say a prayer now for you! Before they realize the stupid mistake in posting that kind of response and delete it I have it saved at the bottom of this post so it will remain forever. Granted, in my humble opinion my huge error was not thinking there was business that would charge an instant 20% restocking fee thats still alive on the internet. However, thanks for waking me up and putting me on notice. Im use to dealing with sites that offer WAY more consideration and flexibility for and to their customers. It was my first time using your site and I made an assumption and it ended up costing me but it wont happen again. I respectfully called to cancel the order and thats when I learned about the fee. Your rep even said I may not get charged depending on the situation. Youre gonna get bent out of shape over that and call me a liar in your response??? So its wasting your time when someone makes a purchase from your site and cancels or returns the item? May that be right away or within the allotted time? So thats why you charge 20% because its considered wasting your time!!! Now I see!!! So customers should buy and move on otherwise they waste your time. What a joke, you just made yourself look idiotic posting that response. MY STORY - I ordered an air intake manifold and had it shipped overnight for a Mercedes. While it was in transit I called RMT to cancel because I decided not to get the work done after learning of extra repairs needed. The part was approx $400 and overnighting cost me another $36. All together it was $438 and some change. However, as mentioned, the part was never delivered because I cancelled while in transit and it was sent back to RMT immediately. My refund two weeks later was for $319. I was charged $80 for ordering and canceling a part from there website. I get the fact that I would lose money on the overnight but $80 as a restock fee or whatever when I didnt even get the part to begin with??? When I called at the time to cancel the order I asked the young lady if there was a fee for the item being cancelled and returned. She stated that they do have a restock fee but sometimes its not always applied depending on the circumstance. That I would have to wait and see but I probably had a good chance of avoiding the fee since I never even got the part. Well.....I was hit with an $80 fee which is 20% of the part price. Thats horrible and embarrassing in this day and age. In addition, I received zero email confirmations on the order or refund. The only way I found that I was refunded was checking my statement. **Update**, I called and was told that part of fee is because they had to pay to get the package canceled and inspected. So essentially me paying the overnight fee separate from the part meant nothing. As stated part of the fee is for them to inspect the package and put it back on the shelf. Ok, so you inspected a package that was never received by the customer to begin with to see if the customer altered the part??? Its criminal, you have a business which allows you to do writeoffs for certain expenses but you are turning around and taking advantage of people. Id rather deal with a real parts operation that allows for free shipping and full refunds at the price of the part within a specified timeframe. Take a look around the internet, your business model is that of a dinosaur and soon to be extinct. No wonder you depend on sales through ebay.Their response is on yelp!

Two weeks after while driving both front suspensions blew up and almost caused me an accident because I had to slow down pretty fast. My mechanic already warned me about faulty struts coming from RMT but I already had them so I decided to give it a chance.....bad idea. I ask RMT for a refund so I can buy the factory struts to avoid more issues but they only offered me a replacement. After reading so many faulty struts reviews I am very concerned about my front suspension struts reliability. I already spend $800 in labor just to replace the struts twice plus the danger of having both struts blowing up while driving. The struts were calibrated by the mechanics that work for Bentley so stop making excuses and blaming other people about you bad products.

Truly wish I could leave zero stars, this company is truly garbage. I purchased a C63 Intake manifold, that upon install it leaked in multiple areas (install completed by Mercedes of Tampa Bay). So, $1,100 in labor down the drain to accomplish nothing. Upon calling with my concerns, I was told that the manifold cant possibly leak, we test every manifold. We agree upon sending it back for an exchange. Later that day, the purchased manifold as well as my core are send back to RMT. Then several days later I receive a refund out of the blue. Upon calling them I am told that the manifold wasnt rebuildable. Obviously a lie because when I called them out on how a tested manifold could be rendered non-rebuildable the story changed. Now Im told since I was upset about the product and my wasted labor money they were just refunding me and not sending back a manifold. After that nonsense I am told they will send me one, but I have to wire the money because they are afraid Ill do chargeback after getting my manifold delivered. The timing didnt allow for a wire as I was about to board a plane, so the manager said she would try to see if I could just purchase it normally and call me right back. Two days later, I have to call them back to follow up after not hearing from anyone. I am then told, oh no we need you to wire it. So, yet another two days wasted for nothing. Now, I get to have the joy of trying to get my core back. I would rather spend the $3,800 on a new intake manifold then ever do business with this company. The staff has gone above and beyond to prove they could care less about the customer and obviously dont test what the sell.

On June 11th, 2015, I sent it my passenger side strut to be repaired on my 2010 Mercedes E550. It seemed like a good deal, plus it came with a Lifetime warranty, so I figured I was covered. In Nov 2015, less than six months later, the strut started to leak again. I called Master Tech and was sent an overnight shipping label to mail in. I took the car back to the shop and was charged to take out and put the strut back in. I was annoyed that it lasted less than six months, but I figured it was a one-time occurrence. I was wrong. In Aug 2016, I was having issues with the strut again. I called to get the strut repaired and was sent another overnight label. I asked why this keeps happening and was told that it had to do with my wheels. I spoke to my mechanic and he said it shouldn’t be an issue, but I went ahead and put the factory wheels back on the car. Again, I paid to get the strut taken out and put back in. Again, less than a few months later, in Nov 2016, I was having the same issue as always. I called and was told that they were having issues with previous struts and that the materials being used this time would be different. I was asked if I wanted an overnight shipping label, and I said I would wait since I could still drive the car. A couple of weeks ago my strut finally gave out and would not rise. I called and asked if I could send it in. It was a different lady than from before. She said she would send a ground shipping label. I asked if I could get an overnight label since that is what I had always been given and since I now had to pay for a rental car while my car was being repaired. She flat out said no and was told that I never should have been given an overnight label to begin with. I was like ok, “Can I speak to your manager?” I was told no. I was like ok, “Can I speak to the owner?” She told me she was the owner and told me, “so do you want a shipping label or not.” I asked her that since she was the owner, can I get my money back if this problem happens again. She said no and again just said, “do you want a shipping label or not.” I said fine, send it. The label never arrived. I called again the next day and asked for a shipping label and again I did not receive it. I went ahead, bit the bullet, and just purchased a factory strut, which I wish I would have done from the beginning. My mechanic told me several times that the strut I sent in to MasterTech seemed poorly put together, but I did not listen. Please learn from my mistake and don’t get suckered by a “good” deal. You may end up paying more at the end like I did.UPDATE AFTER READING RESPONSE: I had after market wheels on the car from day one of purchase of car. After driving over 120,000 miles, I first began to have issues with the factory struts. In order to save money, I had my strut rebuilt through Master Tech. From speaking to TWO different mechanics, the after market wheels should not have been an issue. I only took them off because MasterTech told me that was the issue, and of course, the strut went bad AGAIN. As for the claim how can someone drive for 6 months with a faulty strut, well it was done, with A LOT of noise. As per the company’s Terms and Conditions, they are NOT responsible for the labor. Giving the likelihood of the strut going bad again, I wanted to wait until I had absolutely no choice but to get a new strut. Even though it was making a knocking noise, the car was holding up until six months later it popped and would not inflate any longer. As for me demanding a refund, I only asked if I could get a refund if I had to return it again for a FOURTH time. In my opinion, if they are giving me a faulty product every time, that would only be fair. I guess call me a CRAZY demanding customer, right? And now an honest question from me to the owner. Where in my complaint does it seem that I have a problem with the owner being a woman? What I have a problem with is that the owner, man or woman, gave me a crappy part multiple times and I was hoping the owner, man or woman, would find a solution. Thank you

I purchased what was supposed to be a high quality pair of rebuilt air strust for my Jaguar XJ8. These units cost a total of $738. They were professionally installed by the best Jaguar technician in Boston. I immediately began to experience problems with the struts. After checking every single component of the suspension; my mechanic diagnosed the problem as DEFECTIVE front struts. We made a decision to convert the entire vehicle to coil springs and the struts were removed from the vehicle. I contacted Rebuild Master Tech who had provided me with a limited lifetime warranty on these units. We had numerous communications through eBay; where I had originally purchased them. After a great deal of back and forth; Master Tech agreed for me to return the struts so that we can look at them. I returned them via Fedex with proof of delivery. At this point; the returns department at Master Tech is not only offering any reasonable solution to these faulty units; they are not even willing to communicate further with me.They have essentially stolen $738 of my money on a product that never functioned as it was supposed to function. They refuse to take any responsibility for their product whatsoever.WARNING>>>>WARNING>>>>WARNING>>> Do not purchase rebuilt air struts from this company! You will be throwing money away!! For that matter; dont purchase anything from this shady fly by night company as they are not honorable and do not in any way back up their products. In fact; they are not even a member of the Better Business Bureau... Need I say more??

I placed this up on an a Mercedes owners forum as well because, well, why others need to know how this organization operates:I read on another post (which is how I found them), about air strut sellers. The one I stupidly chose is in Florida and is actually an authorized Bosch repair facility with a big warehouse. In other words, not a Chinese fly-by-night strut seller. People had not used this particular seller yet and were waiting on a guinea pig so I guess I would be the second one. I think within that post another person had used them and also got a broken strut sent to them. Maybe Id have better luck? Um, no. It happened to me too. I really, really wished I had gone with Arnott. These RMS struts arent that much less expensive in an appreciable way, especially knowing what I know now. I know my MB dealership uses their struts frequently because of the backorder on many of them in Germany. And they have never gotten a bad one, I find out from the service manager on a visit after this RebuildMasterTech debacle.I got the original strut they sent, eventually after hunting down the FedEx guy on delivery day who knocked on the door and rang the bell and no one was home so he left the slip on the door. Nevermind it was early January when I had relatives visiting for the holidays at my house right near the front door. I had to meet him in the parking lot of a shopping center to get the damn strut thanks to FedEx customer service. After installation, it became clear after parking in the garage that the strut was leaking air slowly so that within an 30 minutes of being filled after a drive, it was completely down on that wheel. I called the customer service for RMS who stated that I could send it back and have a fresh one sent. The technician asks if it could be sent to the dealership and the person on the other end says no and it has to be sent to the address on file currently. I HEARD THIS BECAUSE I WAS STANDING NEXT TO THE TECH WHEN HE WAS TALKING TO CS ABOUT THE STRUT AND TROUBLESHOOTING WHY IT MAY NOT BE WORKING.Its resent and I have no time to go home and get it and eventually it is sent back. I have two other cars (a CLK is one) so no big deal. RMS customer service calls me and asks why it was resent. I explained and asked again could it be sent to the dealership. She said it could have been done that way on the last call. I told her that that wasnt an option we could take because of what that rep said. She said that couldnt have been what happened because they do that all the time. So, basically Im liar at this point. I told her that I would be charged labor AGAIN and what could be done about that. She says that shops who didnt get the part profit could damage parts on purpose; she knows parts are all thoroughly checked before shipping and so they couldnt possibly be DOA. Oh, really? Then why do you even have a warranty, maam? I am insulted at this point and nonplussed. I am a liar and the technician is a crook AND a liar. In RebuildMasterTech land, people should work for free because its a two minute job. I end the call and say to myself Ill revisit the labor thing later.I try contacting them again and am told there was nothing they could do and when I email I get a form letter saying read terms. I then try contacting Ebay about the labor thing and they were ridiculously unhelpful. But heres the kicker: I leave feedback but it is REMOVED. RebuildMasterTech has 100% feedback. Funny thing about that is when I called Ebay, they think the $150 core charge IS A REFUND SETTLEMENT and I could NOT get that Indian tech support lady to understand that it was them paying me for my old strut. I escalated it up at Ebay and MINUTES later the case I opened is closed. I call back and thats when I discover that core charge is what is destroyed my ability to leave feedback or get redress of my issue. I am so angry. But I am not leaving this alone. I dont know what to do at this point and am open to suggestions. I am doing everything I can think of on my end.TL;DR? RebuildMasterTech is garbage.

Sent a part for rebuilding. It was sent back still not working. Tried calling emailing warranty no response for a month. When I did get to talk to someone the warranty person is horrible to deal with! Finally got the part sent back. It took a month to get the part back. I called multiple times and was told they were working on it. Called last week and was told they didn’t rebuild the part anymore and they were looking to refund my money. Called the next day to check the refund status and was then told the part was ready and being sent out. The lady in the warranty department is rude and curt. The company is suspect. Beware I don’t believe our part was ever fixed initially.

Pay everything in advance. I have been waiting for more than ten days after the piece is supposed to arrive from one day to the next, as the one who made the sale explained to me. It is supposed to arrive today and they did not leave it at my house they took it away and I have to wait for tomorrow and look for it elsewhere. I am very disappointed with this company I thought they should trust but they did not charge me and then they changed their word. I have a customer waiting for his vehicle and I dont even know what to answer him anymore .. all because of this company in which I trust on my part I will not do any kind of business with them thanks to them I lost my customer what a bad disappointment. I do not recommend them at all.
