I always come to this location for service for my cars over the years.My rear tail light was out and the service staff were very kind and flexible; the tech, working on another vehicle, stopped & changed my bulb in less than 10 minutes.The staff here are professional and look out for the customer and do not engage in nickel and dime practices you can experience at the car dealership service centers.

From online scheduling to drop off and pick up, the process and communication was great. Completed the requested work on time and at the price quoted.

Got completely scammed out of 500+ dollars for the employee to not even do it right. oil is now leaking out of my car and $560 was taken out of my account without notice. no one is helping to fix this issue as well. i’d go somewhere else if i were you

Excellent customer service. Charles and O’Neil immediately made me feel at ease because I have been scared my car will not start because the battery seemed like it was about to die. I followed their recommendations to have the charging system checked as well, since a new battery might not be enough to fix the issue. Also, it might save me money! It’s so refreshing to bring your car in and have people looking out for you, who you can trust. I will recommend anyone in Ft. Lauderdale who is wondering where to take their car to get checked, to talk to them first.

Excellent Pep Boys Auto Parts and Service Center store. The Service Center staff are knowledgeable, polite and professional. The parts store staff are equally polite, knowledgeable and professional. The store contains a Lyft and Hertz Rental center. The store is in a good location, plenty of parking with easy access to the store.

Great customer service, reliable and fast. I made them my location to get my car service. All the employees are nice and welcoming. I didnt have an appointment and needed an emergency oil change, my car was serviced really fast....

Attempted to charge me $750 to change brake pads. That price seemed a bit high so I contacted my local dealership and estimated that with labor would only cost around $450 using all original parts.Also get this it doesnt matter if you set up an appointment because they will not attend you. Its first come first serve and get ready to wait because you will be doing plenty of that.Overall I do not recommend this place to have your vehicle serviced. Its incredibly overpriced.

My mother took our car to this pep boys location because there was smoke coming from the front of the car. After a misdiagnosis and spending over $1000+ the car began smoking from the same location a week later. After returning to the pep boys location to fix the issue that for free they told me it would be an additional $600+ to fix something else. After expressing my frustration with the staff and the manager, instead of fixing their mistake free of charge they were very condescending and rude towards myself.A month after our experience my mothers car caught on fire from the same location that the smoke came from. After being out almost $2000 we no longer have a car because of the incompetence of the staff. Please, do not reward these rude individuals with your hard earned money. Not only will they misdiagnose an issue in your car they will also be very arrogant because you do not deal with cars for a living.

Aldo (Service Mgr) and Andrew (Technician) were 💯 percent awesome! Aldo and Andrew diagnosed the problem with my vehicle immediately and had me back on the road. Another repair shop nearby tried to take all of my money and Pep Boys saved me. Ill be back!

Lennox was an amazing help. Since the store is undergoing a change, he was able to assist me with a battery replacement at no cost. Saved me $160 since my old one was under warranty still. Keep up the great customer service

Highly recommend for any services. My boyfriend took his car for oil change no appointment, he just walked in and it didn’t take long at all. He was in and out and he also got a tire rotation and alignment check. Nice & friendly associates, we will be coming back for any car maintenance we need for our cars.

This place is amazing. Charles, the Assistant Service Manager, was incredible. He was so helpful and made my time here quick and painless. I arrived with what I thought was an issue with the alternator, and Charles got everything checked right away and turns out it was just a battery issue! Because it was under warranty Charles was able to replace with a new one right away - I was in and out within 30 minutes. I will DEFINITELY be back to this location. Thanks again Charles!

Great experience!!!! Had a screw in my rear tire - slow leak. Showed up and was warned it might be 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Said ok - it has to been done. Appreciate your getting it in.Guys bent over backwards and was done in 40 minutes and topped off my steering fluid as well.Highly recommend Pep Boys!!!! Theyre available vack home as well>

Very disappointing experience! Polite staff, clean ladies room and common area But, I told service I had a delay starting my vehicle a few times and thought it might be my battery. I paid the fee to check electric system. I was then quoted $1385; for battery, alternator, cv axel and a belt ( supposedly oily from the cv boot busting). I’m a woman but why they tried to get $$$ like that idk.Well, I leave, get a second opinion and....paid under $500!! Didn’t need an alternator just a battery (like I thought). I did get the new axel - that was the one good thing discovered on this Pep Boys visit. Buyer beware. If you’re a woman, go somewhere else.

Really nice people! I brought my truck in because I had a slow leak in one of the tires. They were able to patch it up and get me on my way. The guys were so nice and a pleasure to deal with. Vish (I believe that’s how you spell his name) was so funny and made sure I was taken care of. Thank you again!

This is why I’m giving it 5 stars: we suspected new scratches on our vehicle after getting it back from repairs. Aldo came out, looked at it, and then called everyone that might of touched the car in the garage and took us to the garage. He showed us the color of the garage did not match the color of our scratches and resolved our doubts. Aldo went above and beyond, and even before this issue he was very kind and personable. That type of personal customer service is difficult to find these days. Very impressed with their business.

So six months ago I take my car in to get an oil change and a week later the oil tank is bone dry. I check under my car and it’s leaking out of the oil filter that pep boys just replaced. Another $100+ later (8 quarts of synthetic) and I do the oil change myself and call it a day. I call the location, tell them what happen, they tell me the manager will reach out to me on Monday since it was the weekend, and I never heard back from anyone. 6 months later (yesterday) and I need a last minute oil change (going on a 400+ mile road trip from Fort Lauderdale to Ocala to Tampa) and against my better judgement I take it back to the same location. I even joked with the guy who wrote the ticket (Aldo, the service manager who wrote it up last time and never got back to me about the loose oil filter) to make sure they tighten it down all the way this time. Hey, not harm no foul right? They can’t possibly screw this up twice right? It’s an oil change... WRONG! Once again, my car is pissing oil everywhere only this time instead of being stuck at work I’m stuck in Tampa. After offering to resolve the issue Monday, I insist long enough that they say they’re going to send a tow truck in an hour. 2 hours later no tow truck. Absolutely ridiculous. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced and this is the reason every other big box retailer is going out of business. They obviously don’t learn from other companies’ mistakes and will probably be following suit.. pictures are about 26 hours and 400 miles after said oil change was performed.

Ask for Charles in the service department! Charles is friendly, polite and knows his stuff. He got me a great deal on tires (he helped me pick them out and found a rebate for them) and an alignment. I also spoke with Preston who was very helpful and had my car ready to go quickly. Im very pleased and will return with more business!

Ask how much will it take long yes is the answer, but your automobile will get that TLC.

Ordered tires and made appointment... 5 days later tires never arrived.. Pep boys had no clue that I had appointment.... Confirmed appointment and changed tires... Went there and again they had no idea about appointment or tires... Gave info AGAIN and showed printed appointment... When I asked if I had appointment priority guy next to him said... Appointment.. Whatever that means . Is this the way to treat people? Horrible treatment!!!

Waited 2.5hrs just to fix my flat tire. Not going there again.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with cars but this time when it broke down, it was actually a pleasant experience. Vish kept me updated on the progress and what my warranty covered and also Charlie and Aldo were very helpful as well. They made the experience as painless as possible

I was so pleased today with the great customer care given from the Pep Boy Team:-Rick, the sales person, attention to details was fantastic; he listened to all my requests, repeated them to make sure he understood what was being requested and also gave helpful suggestions too. His communication was throughout the work and to completion. He was also was very patient and professional. A plus for serving with excellence!-Craig, the mechanic, worked an extra long shift today and was still able to service my vehicle with great care; he found things that were of concern to him, above and beyond what I requested. He found all (4) tires had dry rot and my battery was bulging and leaking! A Plus for preventing an accident and even saving lives on the road!Mario, a fellow mechanic, saw that Craig needed help, so he stepped up to assist Craig with the additional work added and needed to my automobile. I appreciated the communication from Charles; although my oil change took longer than I expected.

I went to get my alignment done with Pep Boy and after taking it in 2 times, my car drastically pulled to the left. I had to take my care to a professional alignment center to correct it. The pictures shows how bad the alignment was before it was properly corrected. Customer care doesnt care, the manager Aldo Arencibia never called me back, and Charles H who serviced my car never called me back the second time my car came in to do the alignment, which made me think he never done it. Dont waste your money and the double of time of them fixing something they cant fix and getting any proper response back from Pep Boy customer service.

Don’t waste your time. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had an appointment today at 2pm for a simple service appointment. I had been waiting for 2 hrs so I asked the guy at the desk if he could estimate how much longer it would be. He then proceeded to tell me that they had not even touched my car yet and they were pulling it in “right now”....at 4 pm. People who had arrived after me had been in and out within an hour. After I explained that I had been waiting for two hours, I was told I would have to wait another 45 minutes PER TIRE to get them aligned and balanced. This location is poorly managed. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

Awesome, fast service!!My tire low pressure indicator light came on while I was driving. I pulled over & my tire was almost flat. I was in a rush to get my son from school. This PepBoys was the closest place that I could stop. The guys were super friendly & took my car in right away. They did an awesome job & even refilled my wiper fluid! Thank you!!!

AutoZone has a far better inventory period for as large as the facility is they have about half of what a normal auto parts store would have . Also find them very expensive for what they do have

Very lousy work and always slow. I took my car in for a simple brake job and wound up spending hundreds more than I needed to after they said I needed new drums. They sold me defective drums which they replaced again under warranty. Well guess what? After 4 or 5 trips to this shop and hours upon hours of waiting, my car is still not fixed. It shakes and grinds. My car wasnt broken when I took it to them, but it is now. They dont know what they are doing and I highly discourage you from trusting them with your own vehicle. Now Im faced with going to another repair shop in the area to sort out what on earth they did to my car and how they damaged it. Of course costing me another repair bill. Im sure they dont care. They just want your money.

My car was diagnosed by a previous mechanic as needing a valve cover and a power steering pump, at an estimated cost of $950.00.I wanted a second opinion, so I went to my local Pep Boys because they had recently replaced my battery, and had provided quick and excellent customer service. They noticed that the radiator coolant and windshield washer fluid were both low, and they topped off each one voluntarily and at no extra charge (I saw them do it).Aldo, the mechanic in charge, accurately estimated the final cost (less than $400) and the time needed for the repair. Currently (3 weeks later) everything works fine and Im very happy with both the products and service. Ask for Aldo, and tell him that Nancy sent you!

Their system is slow and inflexible, but their staff is great. Just wait for it to do its thing. Prices are slightly higher than other places. Every time Ive been, it was really convenient and the alignment was on point. I dont mind paying the few dollars more for great work and friendly staff. Preston was so helpful and pleasant that it inspired this review.

Fantastic experience! Came in on my day off and had new tires put in at a fair price.Service was extraordinary. Continuous updates every few minutes with helpful suggestions and polite small talk. Salvador ran the place as if he was the owner, having everyone up to date and calm as he ran back and forth finishing up all his sales. Anna was also very helpful, identifying my cars information and correct tire sizes.Will be coming back this week to deal with a troubling power window!

Honest service & pricing!Went in immediately as my passenger door window got stuck in the down position, leaving my car vulnerable until it was fixed. I knew a replacement motor might be expensive if that was the issue, and asked for it to be reviewed and consulted before any parts were used to fix. They confirmed the issue was the regulator, and provided a temporary fix of bracing and locking the window in the up position until I am ready. Did not pressure me to buy the parts right away, just provided a quote for when I was ready. Thank you Ronnie, I appreciate the service!

They have a new Credit Card processing company and the results are a double billing.Had to return to the store so they can tell me the extra charge has been reversed. What a waste of my time.

They are very friendly and do good work. Trustworthy and they go out of their way to make you happy. Prices are very fair. Theres one caveat which applies to all non-bmw service centers: They have trouble resetting your maintenance notices on your BMW. It usually can be hacked but still.Their work, ethics etc are great though!

Been coming here since 2010 all good experiences I have recommended clients coworkers and family, yesterday 7/22/2018 left my truck at 9 am with a little plastic part broken in half I parched with electrical tape to drive the truck over there, at 3:00 pm I went to check on the truck and the estimate was only $430 dollars, to replace pump and hoses, I asked why they need to replaced all that when I pointed at the broken parts and I told them if they sell the part I can replaced myselfThey never replaced the part they attach this metal clamp very rustic and never replace the original part I pay $60.00 for that crappie job I probably can do better at at home I PROBABLY NEVER GO BACK THERE THEY WERE RUDE AT ALL TIME VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME!After this review service Manager Aldo contacted me and got my car fixed with original part. Aldo is a 5 star manager.
