Wow. Super happy with the service, selection, quality, and friendliness!Went in to fix the breaks on my bike. They were very quick and did a fantastic job. The brakes feel awesome now. Could not feel happier. While waiting (less than 30 minutes) I made my only mistake of the day and tried out one of the e-bikes. Now Im ruined. :)Just a very happy and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
My first experience with Peloton Cycles was fantastic. Chris in the service center worked on my road bike which was creaking. His attention to detail was outstanding and communicated with me every step of the way. My bike has never been so quiet. In addition, the price was reasonable and the repairs were done in a timely manner.
Good cycling company. Good service and fair prices also they believe in giving back to Fort Collins. Im looking forward to having them service my bike .. which theyre doing right now.
Once again the service crew, especially Tyson, provided outstanding service! I am preparing for a long ride (two weeks) and got great advice, prompt service, and everything I needed to get ready to go. Two thumbs up to the great folks at Peloton! From last year: I bought my road bike at Peloton south Fort Collins store, and every time I am in there, I get INCREDIBLE customer service. It happened again today. These folks go above and beyond to make sure I have the information I need to make a decision, have approved any repairs they do, and get just what I want - and often more than I ask for! I highly recommend them.
I brought my mountain bike in to change out the crank shaft, turns out I didn’t need to do all the that! The service staff is AMAZING, very helpful, explaining everything they did to my bike. They called when changes had to be made for an okay. Chris went above and beyond helping me figure out the best solutions. Service was reasonably priced. I will go back to have my bikes serviced there, and will buy my next bike at the Fort Collins store. Staff was fantastic.
This bike shop is amazing. There is much to choose from, it’s very large and athletic, the customer service is amazing and there’s many styles to choose from. Nigel is a terrific salesman who always thinks of the customer first. What an amazing guy
By Peter Spurlin: Josh was amazing. He overheard me talking about a broken Boa on my S-Works road shoes and jumped in to say how to fix them. Boa provided the complementary parts and Josh rewired both shoes. When I offered to pay him for his time, he said he was just happy to be able to do it. True service still exist at Peloton
I just purchased my first mountain bike from Peloton, and I could not have been more pleased with the service I received! Denny worked with me, and he was so kind (I know nothing about bikes, or mountain biking). He answered every question I had, and was very thorough about everything -from the safety of the bikes I wanted to test out in the parking lot, to ensuring the fit was absolutely perfect. He explained everything really well, and was patient, and extremely accommodating. My boyfriend and I got there pretty close to the time they closed, but Denny never rushed us, and he wanted to make sure everything was perfect on the bike I chose before we left. -They were a little bit late closing because of it, but you would never have known, because he was still so thorough, friendly, and nice! He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything relating to bikes, and he made me feel far more confident about riding my new bike than I wouldve without his help. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to Peloton for any bike related needs -and while Im sure all of the staff there is probably fantastic, ask for Denny if you can, because hes amazing! Im really excited to get on some trails now that I have a bike I feel comfortable with/on!
Pretty disappointed with the store since the change of location and ownership. It took over a month to get warranty work completed after we were told a week. I understand most of that was on Suntour and not the service department, but we were never once updated by them. Even when it was done, we had to call to find out. At one point we had called and were told that nothing had been done because the guy handling the work order was on vacation. The biggest disappointment came from sales. When we dropped off the bike for warranty work I had talked to the owner about buying a new Scott Genius. They didnt have a size large in stock but said one would be there in a few days. I gave them my information so they could call me when it came in. I sent an email to the owner the following week asking if it had come in and he stated that it hadnt and that it would be there at the end of the week. He said he was going out of town but he would have the sales manager call me as soon as it came in. Its now been over a month and I havent heard anything. I would understand if they still havent gotten one in for whatever reason but I would expect that they would have updated me at some point. Overall when at the store everyone was very friendly and helpful, their communication is just really bad.
I purchased my Specialized Sirrus from this shop two years ago. I had been taking my old low-cost beater bike there for years for service and always had a great experience. I’ve had outstanding service on my new bike, and today took the cake. I took my bike in expecting to leave it for a long weekend for brake and chain issues. Nick W swapped in new brake shoes and spent time showing me a great way to clean and lube the chain explaining the why of each step. I left the shop about 30 minutes later with my bike in great riding shape again.🚴♂️
Hit a pot hole on Sunday, tweaked front tire. Called Peloton Monday an hour before they closed... they said bring it on in. They trued the tire while I waited and I was riding again Monday night.Amazing! This is the kind of Customer service that will bring me back time after time.I love bike shops... go to many, always searching for my store. I found it here.
SERVICE DEPT. REVIEW ONLYI started going to Peloton last summer to grab parts for a bike I was building and Chris, Reese, and John were awesome! They would scrounge the back for the right parts for me and were super friendly and helpful. Recently went back a couple times and all those guys were gone and were replaced with new guys. Also very friendly but seem to rather just look for parts on the computer and not take a look in the back and didnt seem overly eager to find a couple parts for me. Told me sorry cant help, so I left. Went over to Road 34 and they scrounged around a bit and couldnt find the parts but took my name and number told me they would dig deep in the back for both parts and if they didnt have them they would certainly order them for me. Long story short, probably not using the service department at Peloton anymore and going to Road 34 from now on.
Just bought a bike for my wife here yesterday and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The new location is beautiful and all these bikes are top notch. I highly recommend, best shop in foco
One of their sales staff spent nearly an hour with me helping which bike to buy for triathlon. They were more focused on educating me so I could make a good choice, rather than just pushy sales. I really appreciate that. Ever since then Ive been in several times with my newbie questions and everyone has always taken the time to educate me so I can make the best purchase. If you want to learn about which bike you should buy, Peloton is the place to go.
I have been thoroughly impressed with the customer service Ive received each time Ive visited Peloton. Whether it be a tune-up, fixing a flat tire, or just shopping, Ive been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The employees are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Peloton to all of my friends and family and look forward to my next visit in. Thanks for the excellent experience, keep up the great work!
Not a great shop if you want good service. I went in looking for saddles. I asked the associate what they recommend for something on the lower price spectrum. He said, You should just go look at Walmart. I didnt even get an answer to my question. They have quite a few bikes in there, but no one will even give you the time of day.
I rented a couple of bikes from these guys and it was an exceptional experience. I had two other bikes that lacked air, and Cesar not only helped fill up the air but also checked for possible punctures. The staff here was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely rent from them again when Im in the area. Thanks a lot guys.
Our family loves Peloton Cycles. We have purchased at least 7 bikes in the last 5 years, all a different variety of riding style. The service that we receive always exceeds our expectations, both the sales and service departments.Peloton Cycles has expertise in all bike riding disciplines for kids and adults. They have a great fitting service for a wanna be racer like myself and only sell you what you need. If they dont have it, they will get it for you!Thank you Peloton Cycles for being a great resource for our familys cycling needs, for our needs as competitors and for the cycling needs of the community and all that you do to support the sport.
Was out for a ride and my rear axle started making a bad noise. Went to the shop at 6:15 and was out the door, good as new, by 6:50. Great service, friendly, informative and professional!
They cost a bit more than most other bike shops, but your paying for remarkably high quality service and customer care. They care about your bike, your knowledge of your bike, and you. Theyll sell you stuff, and make sure you know how to use it, and how to take care of it.
Both of my bicycle wheels were stolen, so I took my frame into Peloton to see what my options were. The service manager, Chris, was fantastic. He spent at least 30 minutes calling shops around town and even checked Craigslist all the way from Denver up to Cheyenne to find a new set that would work. Chris went the extra mile to find a financially viable solution for me and got my bike back into great shape in just 1 day. Ive been a Peloton customer for years and will be one for life after Chris took care of my situation. Best bike shop in NoCo!
Did not have what I needed, offered to order it for me. When I mentioned that I wanted it sooner, the staff member gave me a place to go look and see if they have it. Really good customer service. I will definitely be back when I need tune ups...
Flew in from out of town and needed a bike for a race. Josh hooked me up with a carbon BMC. Sweet ride. Great service. Will definitely use again when I am in town.
This bike shop is one of a kind. If you want top notch customer service this bike shop should be your first stop. I had bike petals that were hopelessly stuck. The owner and whole maintenance department jumped in to help me solve my delema. It was not a quick fix and after days of trying all the normal remedied the bike service department would not give up or be satisfied with being stumped. They fabricated a tool specific to the petal problem and success out came the petals. They ordered me new petals and provided me one on one instructions on how to put them in correctly. Wow!
Going to Peloton is like going into a candy store. I just have to have one of everything! Ive had all of our bikes serviced there, done a fitting with Tyson and bought many other little things there. What separates Peloton is there customer service. Ive received tons of good advice and felt comfortable about my purchases due to feedback. This a MUST stop for any biking enthusiast!
I have purchased 8 bikes since 2009 for my family at Peloton cycles. The service that I have received exceed my expectations. They have expertise in both road and MTB for kids and adults. The sell primarily Specialized bikes which are known for their high quality and many world championships. The sales people and mechanics are top notch and they have a fast turn around time on repairs!
Peloton Cycles is an outstanding place to get bikes, equipment, service, advice, and anything you need in cycling. I went to 6 shops in Ft Collins and interviewed the techs and sales staff to decide where I wanted to buy and get my bikes serviced. These guys had great process, knowledge, and understanding of a non-professional rider that loves to ride.I would recommend these guys and the two shops to anyone looking to ride and not worry about the bike.
Needed to rent a high-end/carbon road bike for my trip. Staff was friendly and accomodating and the Scott di2 setup was a solid replacement for my bike. Staff spent time getting me oriented to the best rides and they were bang on. Would definitely support them again.
Purchased Continental X-King Protection 27.5 tubeless Tires from Peloton and had a bear of a time trying to inflate them... I guess my compressor isnt super amazing to pop the bead. Brought the tires and rims back in to Peloton and they inflated both tires in a matter of minutes.Great customer service and would recommend to anybody!
I had flat tire, and he fixed it right away. I waited little bit and got my bicycle back. The price was reasonable.
Was passing through town and had recently lost a small bolt on my new niner. Contacted peleton cycles to see if the could help. They went above and beyond to help me out with a small part. Impressed me with the customer service provided and would recommend them to others
Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Well stocked. My goto local bike shop (LBS) within the Ft. Collins area.
This is my LBS! Ive been buying bikes and gear at Peloton Cycles for 3+ years now. They have great staff who are all passionate about cycling and love to talk about bikes. I had a BG Fit with Barry and now my knee troubles are a thing of the past! The mechanics and the sales folks always remember my name. You cant go wrong at this place.
Got a great deal on a Niner MTB and they were able to get it in, built, and fitted in short time for my Moab trip! Everyone was super nice and knowledgeable.
Great customer service. Mostly have one brand it looks like but there is a decent selection of style and food price ranges.
Probably the nicest local bike shop in Fort Collins. Helpful and knowledgable staff. Bikes are a bit pricey but they are very very nice.
Peloton Cycles in Fort Collins is a great place to buy and service your bikes...staff is really friendly....Robin, Dana, Eric, Nigel, Denny and the rest of the crew are awesome...you wont be disappointed...thanks Peloton for always helping my friends, family and me with all of my bike needs!!
Great bike selection, very limited selection of clothing, gear, and accessories. Given the size of the store, they could easily carry double the amount of product.
Danny (sales) was very nice . Two big problems though. First, I was almost sold a bike that was too big. I found that out from my own research, thankfully avoiding a costly mistake (since there are NO RETURNS). Second, the service guy was awful. When I picked up my bike, I had to ask for three fit adjustments. He was unpleasant and just said How do you want it? instead of getting me on the bike to check. So rather than getting knowledgeable help for the right fit, I had to guess. Then when I got outside, I realized the tires were almost flat! I got better service when I bought a crappy bike at Walmart.
I love this place. Knowledgeable techs, good prices and a good selection. Its convenient to come in from I-25 on Harmony.
Great company, awesome customer, very genuine employees, great equiptment, they have what you need for an awesome experience riding.
Great store.. Love the new location
Higher end bicycles. Great service. Our go-to place for service, tune-ups, and fittings.
Whilst I was at Peloton Cycles, visiting from Canada, I was shopping, and heard an older gentleman yelling at his fellow younger co-worker while checking someone out. The younger gentleman seemed very embarrassed, and I was also very embarrassed at the time of this incident. Ill definitely be thinking about this next time I choose a bike shop to shop at.
This review is based on two visits. Visit #1 I went in looking for a set of speedplay road pedals and the gentleman who helped me out was excellent. After a discussion about the reason for my intended purchase he gave me some tips that would possibly alleviate the issue I was experiencing without having to spend money on new pedals, so I left to give it a shot.Unfortunately those tips didnt work for me so I went back a few days later to purchase the pedals. Visit #2 was ultimately a waste of time and, unfortunately, the gentleman who helped me the first time was not there. They had one set left and it was clear that one pedal did not rotate as smooth (rough, dragging feeling on the bearing as compared to several other speedplay pedals there) as the other, but it was also clear that the attending employee didnt believe it. He offered to grease the pedal up to see if that alleviated the issue, but ultimately it didnt. I said I wasnt comfortable purchasing that specific set and the response was if you have trepidations about buying it then I would say dont buy it.So I took his advice and didnt spend my money there. It wouldve been too easy to offer to order a set, but he didnt seem interested. I promptly went to another speedplay dealer here in town and purchased two sets.Mixed bag of employees here it seems, but based on that last experience I wont be returning. FoCo has too many other excellent shops to waste your time and money at peloton.
Terrible customer service. I went into to order some parts for my mountain bike. After looking them up the employee charged me for some $300.00 in parts that I ordered. He told me they should be there in a few days and I would get a call. I came in a week later after hearing nothing to hear to learn that they never ordered the parts they had already charged me for. I opted for a refund that took almost a week to get credited back to me. Through all of this the employee never treated me with respect or even seemed to remotely care about my business.Bottom line is Fort Collins is a town with many bike shops and after an experience like this i would much rather take my business elsewhere. Wont be going back here.
I just got off the phone with Mike, the manager at Peloton, and I am more frustrated than I was before I called. I explained my frustration about their lack of good communication concerning the unforeseen repair that caused a delay on my service turn around. I told him what his staff has been telling me and he seemed irritated with me. Look man heres the deal, you missed the cutoff for ordering parts because you called us late is what he said. His tone and attitude was less than to be desired. I called him on it and he back peddled and said he was frustrated with his staff.I dont want something for nothing, I just want good service and good communication. You need to learn how to defuse an unsatisfied customer Mike. What happened to the customer is always right?
Nigle is a very knowledgeable and polite person to work with.
I went in to continue the never ending quest of finding the right saddle, as Id heard great things about Specializeds lineup. My partner and I talked to Eric, who was pretty darn helpful. He sent us home with a saddle each to try for the day. Low and behold, theyre great! A few small issues, but given the knowledge and level of customer service we had already experienced, we felt those could be taken care of pretty easily. That was not to be the case. We returned the next day with the intent to purchase said saddles, or maybe a model very similar that might fix those small problems. It took about half an hour to get a salesperson to help us, and help is definitely not the right word. We told him that we were pretty happy with these, and asked a couple questions. One word answers the whole time. No additional suggestions on what could be improved, and a pretty bad information to boot. For example, they have this ass-o-meter, essentially, that measures the distance between two bones in your bum so you have a good idea of how wide a saddle should be. Say that the meter says your bones are 130mm apart. Which is what the little meter said mine are. You definitely want a saddle that is over all wider than those bones. Otherwise all your weight is literally on the edges of the saddle. Somebody with 130mm sit bones might want a 140-150mm saddle or so. This guy said, with much conviction and despite repeated attempts to get him to say otherwise, that with 130mm bones, a 130mm saddle is the way to go. Hmm.We were then quoted a 24 hour return period for saddles. In like-new condition. I get the like-new condition, but when its pretty clearly stated that you have a full week to get a refund on anything but a complete bike... I bought it anyway, since the demo one was incredibly good.In short, of the two Peloton people Ive dealt with, one was pretty good, but the other more than made up for that. He was the reason that people dont buy at local bike shops anymore, and get everything online.Ive gotta say, if this saddle is the least bit uncomfortable any time in the next week, its going right back, and Ill continue my quest for the perfect saddle at shops where I know the staff is helpful and knowledgeable, like Provelo.
I has good bikes and nice people
Top of line equipment, great customer service and always willing to go the extra Mile !
I was at the store on 09/11/17 worst service ever I was there for almost 15 min and didnt receive so much as a greeting. There was only three customers in the store. I had $500 to spend on a bike for my sons birthday. I was the only Hispanic customer so id have to assume my color was the reason I didnt receive any service.
Just has major tune on my Bike - Great job and Fair price. After riding Was like buying new Bike !!!!
Friendly staff. Knowledgeable mechanics.
Great Service!!! Mike does a great job leading that team!!!
Great independent local bike shop.
Friendly employees & great selection
Nice staff, great bikes
