Lance and Will are great people they are fair honest and diligently work to fix your vehicle so far they have done my balljoints, leaf springs, power steering pump, and done a proper diagnostic on my engine. They also did a great job on my AC🥶. If u want quality work take it here

Ive been taking my vehicles to Spencers for a long time and I will continue to take them there. They work hard to make sure my repairs are done right and as quickly as possible. The price is very competitive, but the communication and customer service are above and beyond.

This was probably the friendliest place I have ever been to they did a throughout inspection and played no game when it came to price. I have never been to an auto repair shop where the mechanics built such a great report with not only my husband but myself(th wife ) as well.

Will helped me get a used car checked out that I was thinking of purchasing. He was so helpful! Setting up the appointment was easy, all done through their website via text messaging. They did a thourough check of the vehicle and gave me a detailed report that included costs for any of the maintenance that would be needed on the car in the future. I was most impressed with Wills customer service. I waited in the lobby while they checked out the car and I heard him be so kind, honest and respectful to every customer he spoke with. He was going above and beyond for each one of them! I will be calling him first for any mechanic needs I have in the future.

I have to say, this was an amazing experience. And to get me worked up enough to literally log in and leave a testimonial, thats rare for me.I have an older restored German car. Gorgeous car - Im picky and protective. I bring it in there to Will and Lance (more on those two in a second), and I leave the car in their hands. I was skeptical because I do know these cars and I even know how to do most of those cchecks, maintenance and repairs, but Im getting old. At 50 sh*t starts going downhill.Anyway, I didnt expect to hear from them for weeks to do their thing, and like 3 business days later Im sitting there watching Steve Wilkos and Maury and *ding (makes a ding sound), I look at my phone and its a text - and I literally could not believe my eyes.....They inspected every single solitary square inch of that car, and separated all the results into different categories: 1. Emergent issues - needing attention immediately, for example Youve got a completelyunsafe tire, and your Transmission is also needing repair! 2. Important items that require attention but not so much that the car cant be driven like brake pads getting low type stuff. 3. Items checked that are fine - just keep an eye on, for example Have the coolant flushed next oil change. 4. Looks Great! - Fluids look good, tires are rotated, and belts, hoses, filters - they all look good!Are you buggin out? I sure was when I got that text, but there is one more amazing detail: they have an app they use, and every single item that they check, they photograph it, and when you receive that text I told you about, they include those photos! You can see proof that not only that they checked it, but a photo confirms whatever their recommendation is!Will and Lance are the two guys whose name I recall, but trust me - *every* single person there was pleasant and courteous. Then, when I got my bill, again I was astounded!Ive taken 30min out of a busy day to write this, its the least I can do. This was an amazing experience from A to Z and in-between! I dropped my Jeep off at Spencer Auto, taking a chance on an unused auto repair facility.I normally maintain my own vehicles, but take them to the shop when it comes to services my HOA frowns upon you doing.I had the cooling system flushed, thermostat and housing replaced, transmission flushed and serviced to include the pan off Method with filter replacement, oil change, and tire rotation.I was totally amazed that I received an email document explaining their findings, fluid dabs from oil, transmission, brakes, power steering, and coolant.They sent photos of each tire with dimensions, photos of my shocks, and full descriptions of the event. They kept me up to date the entire time.The price was reasonable for the amount of work accomplished and they met my requested delivery time.A group of friends and I went off roaring the next day and the Jeep performed flawlessly.Spencer Auto repair has earned my repeat business and recommendation.Great work guys!!’

These guys are amazing. The first time I visited Spencer’s, they put a full spare on my vehicle and did not charge me a cent. That was after they inspected the tire that was damaged. I told them at that point, if I ever needed vehicle work, I would be back. I took my X5 next and they not only installed new brakes, rotors, and pads for less than anyone around, they communicated and stayed right around what they quoted me. For at least a year the locking system was not functioning on the back two doors, but somehow after picking up my vehicle, the back doors now unlock. Now, they didn’t say anything to me about fixing that, but I imagine it had to be them! I would recommend them to anyone needing honest, reliable and fair-priced auto work. I have already recommended to all of our adult children and some friends in Florence. Thank you!

Every time I bring my car In they give me honest feedback. I recently had an issue where my car wouldn’t start. I tried to jump it and still wouldn’t work. Thinking it was my started I called them and they arranged to have a tow truck come get my car. Once they had the car they called me back and told me that it started for them. They didn’t believe it was the starter (which is a way more expensive fix) and believed the battery was just at the end of its life(6 years old). They could have easily just replaced the starter and told me the battery needed to be replaced as well therefore making more money off me. Most other shops would have done that and a lot more.These are good people. They are honest and every time I bring my vehicles in they give me the best price and excellent service. They have earned a loyal customer and I will be bringing my business to them regardless of how far it is because I value the honesty and customer service way too much.Ask for Will. He is the best.

Had a great experience with Spencers. Just bought an older, bigger car for my family. Wanted it checked from head to toe. They ran all sorts of diagnostics for me. Gave me an itemized report for the biggest things I need done for my vehicle first, down to things that can wait. They were very pleasant to work with, everyone was friendly. Ive used these folks for oil changes for the last couple of years. I have found them to be exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. We moved here a year ago and my daughters AC wasn’t working in her Mustang so we took it to Spencer’s and they had it fixed in no time. My Kia’s AC just stopped working and I took it in today. They found the problem quickly and explained everything to me & went out of their way to get the parts needed. They were very caring brought me water and were extremely friendly. I have an appointment for them to fix it and I know they’ll do an amazing job. I highly recommend them!Just went back to Spencer’s as we had electrical problems with our headlights and they took care of the problem quickly and did a great job. We’ll be back again for any repairs needed! October 2020. January 2021 Mustang repair, car sat in driveway for quite some time, battery dead, gas old, fuel pump at 5psi. What a great experience at the Florence Spencer Auto Repair Shop. I was greeted by smiling Erin who was very professional in describing the details of my requested brake job. My brakes are past the suggested miles for my vehicle. Spencer’s offered a courtesy brake check performed by Justin. Justin was very honest and sincere when he showed me my brakes had about another 20,000 miles of wear before they need to be replaced. He could have easily said they require replacing and I would have said do it.I’ve been searching two years for an auto repair shop I can trust and finally feel Spencer Auto Repair is the one.... We recently moved here from out of state. Weve been looking for a good mechanic. We took our car to Spencer Auto Repair hoping to find that mechanic for both our vehicles. I was not impressed with the service that I received from the Florence location.When the air filter was replace the new one was installed on top of the dirt and rocks that had collected in the air box. They were quick to apologize when I pointed it out and offered to do it right. Not comfortable trusting my car with them ever again. No, I do not recommend them.

Spencers Auto Repair takes the time to take care of us, as well as taking care of our car. Erin will arrange for UBER to pick us up, and take us anywhere we have to go, when our car is in the shop, or just undriveable for some reason.Will makes sure that we understand what needs to be done, and how urgent the service needed is. He checks the service engine soon code, even if we bring the car in at closing time. Will spends the time to explain what the problem is, and will honestly admit it could be this or it could be that.
