Truck taken in to shop Nov. 2020 Thanksgiving and he still hasnt fixed it yet was paid in full month and a half ago said I was coming to get the truck, he took it in the shop took apart and still hasnt fixed it contacting state attorneys office and filing a complaint, then BBB

I was told 3 times my cars was gonna be ready it was not, 2 times I went in person, he had 340.00 of my money and my car I got the law involvedFinally it was ready this was over a 2 week time period

2 cars and over $2000 on parts and labor. No new parts and neither car is fixed. He had my cars for months at a time. When he originally told me it would be 2 days for the 1st car and he would start the 2nd car immediately after. I was going out of town for a couple of days so i was able to leave both cars expecting them to be ready as per him when I got back. He never fixed the cars. I took the van back because I had no other transportation. It was never fixed but He continued to lie about what he did on the cars until I was totally fed up and surprised him by bringing another Mechanic on site to show me all the work and New parts that he installed. He hadn’t installed one part that he claimed he installed. He hadn’t fixed anything on my car at all. My van I took from him with the same problem I took it in for. He was paid in full $680 but nothing completed. He charged me $980 for my Pontiac g6 parts & labor but there’s no new parts on my car. I drove 1 mile before the check engine light came on. I decided to go right to auto zone and do a diagnostic. I was told that it was a sensor I took it back to him the next morning he told me it would a couple of days. After a couple of weeks he told me he would need $880 because he had to install all new hoses on the car and some other things. I had a male call he told him the price would be $550. I gave him an additional $350 to the $980 that I already paid so that I could get my car back after over 6 months. This time I’m having a male family member call because he’s totally railroading me. He said 2 days and again another month past by. He started talking about fixing things we never discussed, he would contradict himself. He told me he fixed the radiator that’s why he didn’t get everything else fixed. After I told him I didn’t care what wasn’t fixed he would hide out, not answer the phone and hide my car behind other parked cars. I surprised him by showing up right before he was closing with another Mechanic. I didn’t disclose that he was a Mechanic until he finish telling me everything he did. Once the other Mechanic asked him to show the new parts and hoses that he installed and called him out he started to get upset because none of the parts that he said he installed was New parts. After he identified himself as an certified mechanic said let’s talk Mechanic to Mechanic. I’m just asking you to show me the completed work that you billed her for. Now He refused to talk any further. I’m going to see a lawyer today because I had the 2nd Mechanic do a video of the work that he claimed he’s done that isn’t done and I’m taking him to court for my Money back.
