Very shady establishment stay away stealing parts of vehicles I brought my vehicle there to get painted running fine I had to pick it up and bring it home on a tow truck

Referring to my last review,I’m not understanding why the owner is putting a tire shop name under my review when that tire shop doesn’t have anything to do with my review. It’s Maaco in Florence SC who has my car. An it has been over a month an two weeks of lies and promises. The accident pictures.. My next group of pics will be how I saw my car last week after going up there!!Smh

They did a great job on my Ford Mustang. The paint has some runs and imperfections, but at the price I paid. Im very happy with it! Will use them again.

Mustang got t-boned. Sent it all the way from Charleston to get done by these guys. Worth the money! Also, they’re sarcastic but honest, and it was awesome!

I havent got it back yet but the last one I got on a previous truck was pretty good. My car is a older car so a exspensvie paint job isnt nessassary. I just want it to look good not a show car.

No one was there for my appointment that I setup days in advance. I was told I would receive a call back to reschedule still have not! I took my business elsewhere

I took my truck to Maaco to get a rear passenger fender repaired on my truck and I had the most horrible experience ever. They kept my truck for 3 months didnt repair my fender, damaged my other fender, and covered my truck in dust. I contacted customer service to voice my situation with that specific shop. They told me the cooperate office would be contacting me. When the cooperate office contacted me they apologized for the horrible experience I had a the Florence SC location. I accepted there apology and I requested could I take my truck to another location to get my truck fixed. They said no you have to take it back to the same shop. I responded The same shop that took 3 months to fix a fender only to end up scratching my other fender then tried to fill in the scratch in with what looks like some kind of crayon substance, covered my truck in dust from other cars they were working on, and still did not fix the original fender they were suppose to be fixing in the first place. Again they apologized for the horrible experience, but told me I had to take my truck back to Florence SC location. So I asked could I get a refund. They said no my only option was to take my truck back to the Florence location. So I kindly decline the offer to take my vehicle back to such a horrible establishment. So not only did I lose $500.00, but I still have to get the original fender fixed and the other fender they scratched fixed. Im the most positive person I know and it pains me to write something like this on a person or company but this is the only justice I can receive in this situation. I just hope this review helps someone from wasting there time and money with this company like I did.Sincerely,Unsatisfied customer.

They had my car this week make a month he told me it be ready last week it wasnt he say it be ready this week it wasnt four times and it nt rdy Chris told me 3 weeks when I drop it off I WONT USE THEM ANYMORE 😡

Highly professional. Treated me with respect. Not to come off as a feminist, but they didnt great me like a woman going into a car shop. They retreated me like I wish car dealerships or mechanics would. With respect.I will use their services and look forward to bringing them more business then what I already have planned.

My brother has had his car over there for at least 4 months. He only wanted it painted and there were minor scratches to be removed. He has not gotten his car back yet. We will be contacting an attorney tomorrow.They painted his car the wrong color and now they are basically holding his car hostage meanwhile he still has to pay insurance and figure outother transportation.I will also be contacting the local news and using any and all social media to share this story of the worst customer experience ever. The people in the corporate office wont even call him back.JUST TERRIBLE!!

After talking with numerous body shops I took my Jeep to them against the advice of several professionals. Went in expecting much less than what I got! They did a great job and the Jeep looks like a new one! Very satisfied with the outcome and the friendliness of the staff. Was told it would be two weeks and they got it to me several days before that. Will use again in the future! A++

They are not professional at all. Manager name Michael lie more then working and can’t even install a new bumper on a truck and they charge me for a new bumper but actually didn’t even order new bumper for me they fixed my old bumper and put. It back on My truck then told me it’s done. And. ! The staff there all look like under influence while they working ..I wouldn’t let any low life touch my car if I knew !!!

Was the worst decision I ever made. I wish I could have giving zero stars....They completely destroyed my car.. Just received my car back 4 months later..Signal lights dont work. Windshield wipers dont work. Car acts like it dont wanna crank. None of the functions on the steering wheel works. Push the start doesnt work. Engine light is now on. Trunk doesnt work right....Car is making noise. Dont take ur car here

Wasnt happy with work done to my vehicle. After 3 trips they still havent fixed the issue. Whenever Im here I hear nothing but customer complaints.

I took my BMW 650 in for body work after someone hit it in a parking lot and damaged the bumper and front quarter panel. I found them to be very professional. The job was completed in a timely manner. The workmanship was fantastic. You cant even tell there was ever any damage. Looks like it did from the factory. It was all done at a very reasonable price. My experience with Florence Maaco was excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Everything started off well but that quickly changed when I realized the from desk staff was as knowledgeably inclined as I was when it came to automotive refinishing, I came in for some warranty work ( paint popping on lift-gate) no big deal really but I also wanted to get my hood done and I had a small spot on my quarter panel that Mr. Chris Cain assured me could be corrected properly without having to paint the whole panel....WRONG!! Not only does my hood look terrible, but my lift-gate is bubbling and the first time I washed my car the paint started flaking off the same quarter I was assured wouldnt peel anymore. My advice is to spend the extra money and go to a shop that will do it right the first time youll save yourself a headache.

I took two years of Auto Body classes, so I am pretty peculiar about the work done on my vehicles. With that said; I have used Maaco of Florence for several body damage repairs and paint jobs. The work has always been seemless and unnoticeable, the staff has always been very professional and upfront, and the repairs were always done very timely. On top of all that, the prices are the best in town. Maaco will continue to get all my business!

Awesome experience with Michael getting my truck fixed after some front end damage. His prices were extremely low, but more importantly his service was impeccable. He was in constant contact letting me know updates and worked to fix the few issues I did have in a timely matter. Glad I took the advice of others and came to see you guys!

My car had minor damage from a tree limb falling on the roof. I decided to have the entire car repainted along with the repair. I opted for their best paint service as this car was less than 2 years old with under 20,000 miles on it. It took them 2 months longer than they said it would, everytime I went to pick it up the car still had obvious blemishes all over it. On the fourth attempt I took the car home even though I was unhappy with it because I figured they were NEVER going to get it right. Today I traded the car in and got $5,000 less than the average trade in value, because the paint job is so messed up. What this particular Maaco did to me should be criminal.

The people were cool but the work wasnt worth the $1300 they charged me, paint started looking dull after 2 weeks and my roof and hood both have circles all in them. My buddy over at Alvins said its from improper recon work...live and learn

Replaced my damaged bumper and painted it in a timely manner.They did an awesome job! The staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend them, and will certainly choose them again if needed.

We had our car painted the original color supposedly when we picked it up it was two to three Shades Darker than the original color. Very dissatisfied with the color now when you open our doors the door jambs are the original paint color whereas the rest of the car is a color they chose nowhere near our original paint color. Would prefer to have left it alone rather than it be this color

Horrible paint job. They had our vehicle 5 days and we still ended up with paint bubbles. Also they did not properly re-glue the spoiler on back of the trunk. And we found paint peeling on the edges of the trunk. We dropped our vehicle off on a Monday and did not receive it until Friday. Their excuse was that they were backed up and had an emergency job come up as if us being without our vehicle beyond their promised finish date wasnt important. I would not recommend them. The only reason why we took our vehicle there was because our vehicle suffered damage at another business and Maaco is who they contract to do their repairs.

I had some very basic work that needed to be done on my car. Yes, they were probably the cheapest, but you get what you pay for...for me, that meant not having the job done right the first time and having to go back and having it redone. We will see if it sticks this time.

Im shocked and appalled at some of the other reviews that have rated this establishment 5 stars. Shame, shame and shame. If DHEC was to come by and observe this establishment, they probably wouldve had this place shut down due to the building so old and run down. They were very nice people but their Job performance was somewhat ok! None of its employees are in uniforms. Children running and playing around in the shop while my vehicle was being serviced. Nothing within that environment shows any form of professionalism. The shop is completely covered in a lot of dust (fire hazard). I was overwhelmed with complaints from another customer as I await for the completion my vehicle. Too many red flags . Its a good thing I didnt get a paint job because they probably wouldve monkey my car up. I just had a simple headlight replacement but the performance was far too slow. Waiting period was approximately 4-5 hours. Im definitely not sure if this is a trusted business. Take your vehicle there at your own risk.This was my 1st experience dealing with this company and it will certainly without fail be my last. I had to return my car back to them the next day because of their failure to adjust my headlights properly. I would love to not recommend this business to anyone. I wouldnt wish nothing like this on no one.

I dropped off my vehicle on a Monday and was supposed to pick it up Friday they did not meet dead line as well as me paying extra fees for a rental car for an extra 5 days out of $225 of extra fees they only reimbursed me $60 as well as me working hard for my money, I spent a total of 600 dollars for body and paint work very disappointed in the body work the front end looks disproportional but paint looks good, definitely can see they didnt care once they had all my money. I would not recommend anyone.

Poor service painted over sections not prep can see running paint bubbles was told you paid for cheapest package thats what you get only do good work if it an insurance claim but dont pay out of pocket or you will get same poor quality paint job

I was shocked at how bad the paint job turned out. I was pushed to have to use them against my wishes due to a factory paint recall and the dealer insisted I use Maaco. Instead of just painting what was bad they wanted to paint the whole car instead. I thought that might be better and match better, but instead of just ruining the affected parts, they ruined the whole car. They agreed to repaint it and it was hardly any better. There was dirt and fibers in paint, orange peel look, painted over rock chips, and the chrome trim was swirled up from a sander. My assumptions unfortunately turned out true, so I dont recommend this particular Maaco for any paint work.

Online it said they open at 8:00am,sat in the parking lot until 8 no one unlocked the door but had a big pitbull sitting at the door. I waited until 815 the manager pulled up and walked in while I was talking to him as if I wasnt!!

I brought my car here to get painted after waiting a month to get it back after I was told 7 to 8 days...what a huge mistake they actually painted all of my trim and didnt tape anything up they even painted under my car and Im not talking about overspray they just didnt tape it up (white) . It ended up costing me 960.00 bucks for a very very bad paint job. Take my advice and go anywhere but here.

Paid extra to have couple dents removed and they’re still there. Finish was not as good as expected.

Worst experience ever. The people are nice but I got fooled. They fixed a dent in my door and the door they replaced had tint on it none of my windows are tinted. I got my car back and it was infested with ants in my back and from seats and my child is allergic to ants!!
