We stopped here for a much needed coffee break. I’m not much of a coffee buff and honestly don’t know the differences between all the types. Black coffee please…. But I though I would try one of those espresso things. It turned out amazing, but was only the size of. Well look at the photos. Lol. Great place and atmosphere. I suggest fire creek for sure if you are a coffee lover like my wife.
The food and coffee were actually excellent however the staff was rude. They laughed and joked with each other and the locals but clearly dont like visitors to their town. I found the morning staff to be completely unhelpful and blatantly rude. I would try again since I liked the vibe of the place but hopefully they would have new employees.
An excellent experience all around. This place is a fine example of what an independent coffee shop can and should be.Bonus: they offer alcoholic beverages to those who are of age. I tried the Chai with bourbon. It sounded like an off pairing but it was *excellent* .
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great and just what I needed. The back area was also nice to set up and do some work in a motivated, upbeat atmosphere! Thank you Firecreek Coffee Company Team!
Cozy local coffee shop with delicious coffee drinks, tees and bakery items.
I’m not sure what made the guy with the glasses and blonde hair so unfriendly towards us (maybe discrimination as we are Middle Easterners?) but we cannot recommend this coffee shop to anyone for several reasons. We were not only stared at and treated very rudely but on top of that, they were out of at least 5 different coffee menu items. Bathrooms were dirty. They got the order wrong. Usually we can overlook minor things but if an establishment cannot treat everyone kindly, it’s hard to overlook problems. Do not visit if you look different than the typical young hipster.
Awesome vibes! The staff were super friendly and helpful with deciding what to get. Tea lattes are delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast or whenever!!
Service is good, food is nice coffee is very good. I am not a fan flavored coffee or sweet coffee but i had been told the dark star was something special. It was very flavorful and not too sweet. Truly a special place to try.
Food and drink is great, service and attitude aren’t. Their breakfast items are available starting at 8am. We ordered at 7:57 and they weren’t willing to even put in an order to the kitchen. Then they put in orders for every customer after us. Nice.
Ive been both times Ive visited Flagstaff. Though its more of a local spot, with students on their laptops and local artists donning the walls, it also has a transient quality to it, since its right on 66. The coffee and food is really delicious and even though theres a lot of coffee competition in Flagstaff, its worth the stop.
Tried their coffee and food and it was delicious! Split a croissant sandwich which comes with a side of potato salad and fresh green salad and I was pleasantly surprised with how big the serving sizing was. and it was sooo good. They have dairy alternatives available. Came back 3 times to work, as it’s a great place with a lot of space, good wifi and plugs available.
Giving a 5 stars because the place looks great & the staff is extremely welcoming.( I’d love to recommend to you guys to loose the straws and switch to at least a sipping cup lid for your drinks & maybe even encourage people to bring their own cups to reduce plastic usage. )Thumbs up for the dairy alternatives 🐿I recommend this spot for anyone who wants to get a drink or a snack. 🧡🧡
I just moved here from Washington, so Ive been looking for a good coffee place and I think Ive found it. The coffee and vibes were good. Plus, free WiFi.
Not bad, but these people charge $7.50 for their “large” specialty latte. No wonder they don’t put the prices on the blackboard. I don’t even see rip-offs like that in LA, some grande huevos on this owner. Gotta give it one star in an attempt to negatively adjust the overall rating—should be 3.
Great location in downtown flagstaff! The baristas there are very kind and helpful, coffee shop is clean and has good vibes—seems like a great place to study and chat. I got a iced chat tea, the drink was tasty and perfect for a sunny day! Hope I will have the chance to actually try their coffee one day.
I was in town from Cleveland and this place was close to my hotel, open early, and had the beet drip coffee. Would recommend
Delicious espresso & Tumeric Ratio drink. We came in thirty minutes before they closed, I was bummed that they had already dumped all of the drip coffee out at that time. I need to stop by earlier next time 👍
Their Americano has spectacular flavor. I appreciate that this coffee shop cares about the little details of the coffees, which was made clear by only offering some espresso drinks in certain sizes. This means they can preserve the ratio of ingredients to produce the exact flavor they intend. The staff was a little overwhelmed by greater than usual busyness for a Monday morning, but still handled the large volume of orders well.
Oat milk latte was so good. Wish I had bought some beans.
My daughter really enjoys going here and shes attended concerts here too. I was left a little disappointed. I enjoy local shops for the cozy atmosphere and drinking from a mug. They gave both my daughters and myself to-go cups despite us staying. We were treated differently. It was really odd and killed the vibe. I didnt like it.
Best coffee in Flag and I’ve been to all of the coffee places. I have loved this place for so long and started loving it even more ever since they expanded their food menu.
We stopped in for lattes this morning. I ordered the horchata latte, which was quite taste even though it was made with flavored syrup which I didn’t realize when I ordered. Also ordered a blueberry muffin which might have been the nest muffin I’ve ever had. I feel like there maybe should have been more than one person working in the morning. She was very nice, and I can’t blame the wait on her since she was the only one working...
Expensive for what it is. Coffee is ok and breakfast sandwich is ok. Unfortunately their pastries taste really old and stale. Mind you we showed up at 8 a.m.They also had really bad attitudes towards non hipster customers. Person working the kitchen was nice though :-)
Cool place! Free concerts some weekends, really fun.
Lively, spacious and very friendly staff. Parking is a bit hit and miss. There is 2 hour parking in front, but much else is paybyplate.Free refill makes it very affordable for quality brew, and there is a loyalty program, tooBe warned, youll forever compare coffee to theirs with nostalgic longing
The atmosphere was comfortable, the Ethiopian pour over was excellent and paired well with the gluten-free/vegan caramel apple muffin.
Fantastic cortados! Try the baked goods, delicious.
Friendly staff, good options and delicious coffee.
This is a review for the coffee only as I was not able to make it for the beer and live music. The decor is unique and fun, but could probably be done a little better. The tables are small, and hard to sit at if you are the slightest bit tall. The coffee is good, but not excellent. It will warm you up and caffeinate you but dont expect to be blown away by any of it.All that said, I still like this place and would definitely go back.
The baristas here can do a proper cortado. Something hard to find these days. The espresso is pulled delightfully and the roast was from right up the road. What more could you ask for? I would be delighted to stop back in on an evening for a drink at their bar. Great stop on my way out of Fstaff.
Great lattes, with nice laid back atmosphere. Shared the coffee cake with my son and we inhaled it! Great local cafe!
Interesting atmosphere. People causally drinking coffee on one side, and people drinking whiskey at the bar. Or get some whiskey in your chai, no ones judging here.Whenever Ive gone theyve been pretty steady with people walking in but I wouldnt say its a busy coffee shop like most others. Its definitely more quiet.Great place to start if youre walking around town and want a warm drink.
Excellent coffee. So much better than that Seattle brand!
Firecreek served up some of the best coffee I’ve ever had!
Delicious espresso & coffee in a superb location right on Route 66 in between all the bars right across from the Flagstaff visitor center. Friendly baristas, quant atmosphere, plenty of open space, and tasty coffee made it my go-to place the minute I first stepped inside.
Love this coffee! Had a great cup of cappuccino at the Oak Creek location! It was so good I’ve signed up for a coffee subscription. Biweekly delivery gives me fresh and good coffee beans!!
Best coffee in town, typically a little slow on service.
Love this coffee shop! Great place to read or study and solid drinks
Got the horchata latte and it was delicious. I told Jenny to not make it to sweet and she made it just the way I like it, so Thank You Jenny.Cant wait to come back and bring friends!
Decent coffee not bitter. This place has a great vibe with friendly staff.
This place is amazing! They make their own organic house made strips, including a vegan caramel sauce! I got a vegan Carmel oat milk latte from a really friendly and knowledgeable barista. HIGHLY recommend this cafe to anyone vegan or who likes artisanal coffee. Their beans also smelled amazing.
Great ambiance and WiFi! Coffee was delicious. They also have a limited but nice menu if ya work up an appetite and want something a bit more than pastries.
The food was amazing! The chef, Kayte, made us such a good blt and her poppyseed pancake special was delicious. Great experience here!
What an enjoyable visit to this cafe. Ordered a Hot Toddy(Chamomile tea with bourbon and honey) while it was freezing outside. It brought me back to life. Recommended
I really loved the salted cardamom latte-- it reminded me of ginger molasses cookies
Great atmosphere and drink selection!
Always super friendly staff, gender-neutral bathrooms, music and WiFi, and takeout is available! This is by far my favorite coffee shop, and their brunch is always TO DIE FOR. I wish they did it all day.
Great food, staff and coffee!
Awful employees! Very rude! ALL OF THEM!
Good service and good atmosphere
Best coffee in town, hands down! Always stop when were in Flag!
August 2020: Their listing currently says Temporarily Closed, but they are OPEN for carryout! And they will actually do slow bar items for you!! One of the only shops that will do that for you...Ordered an immersion brew of the Guatemala and a Honduras - both were excellent!Kind person with excellent behind the counter, too. Go see them!
Unfortunately for me, I only visit Flagstaff, because if I was a local this would probably be my go to spot :) A bit pricey compared to other places but the quality is amazing and the design of the shop is so unique.
Tasty coffee. Chill atmosphere. Will have to try one of the coffee cocktails next time Im here
Passing through for the night, walked in and had excellent service. Coffee was excellent. Definitely making this a regular stop passing through
I love this place! Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Their coffees are sublime, and their quiche is the best I’ve ever had.I’ll be back!
We visited Arizona to get away from the nanny state telling us to wear masks and then were snidely chided by the baristas here too.No need to go back to this place.
Coffee is really nice with their home made syrups. The copeland is an excellent breakfast sandwich as well on a super yummy home made style croissant.
Probably one of my favorite places in Flag! With goods freshly baked on site, coffee that has been sourced impeccably and a killer breakfast menu, you must take the time to stop in here. You never know, hours may pass in an instant and you are there watching the weekly poetry, incredibly curated music events or buying art.
Good coffee. Nice place. Good price
I was very exited to get their Chai but they didn’t have it, so I asked for a Matcha lavender which they didn’t have either, so I ended up getting the Golden drink (turmeric drink) and it wasn’t bad except for the fact that was way too sweet and a 12 oz was almost $7
The baristas here actually know how to make good espresso. And the pastries are good too!
Stick to the coffee. Egg sandwich was bordering on inedible.
Beautiful view. Good coffee. Friendly service.
Great chill vibe, plenty of outlets. Good music on the speakers and a delicious blend in my hot americano. This place is just the place you’re looking for!
I like that this place caters to local artists of all kinds. Musicians, slam poets, they throw events for all types! Great bar service with good prices. I love that I can choose between getting a coffee or a cocktail. They also sell yummy pastries til late! (Like 9 or 10pm) Really rad place, 8/10!
Really like this spot. People are friendly, coffee was better than expected. The music choice is unique & varied, fits into the atmosphere very well. Not the radio hits, or the typical jack johnson-esque easy listening stuff thats so particular to coffee shops these days. All these things together tie in for a pleasant experience when on the go for some coffee, or when Im looking to finish up some work on my laptop.
Great coffee and food, what more do you need?
