Josh was very clear in his communication with me, had patience for my many questions, and was eager to help me understand what they checked on my car (was having trouble with spark plugs). Very thorough, kind and sincere. He even walked me out to my car and showed me under the hood what to look out for myself if the issue arose again. Highly recommend.

This is the only place I bring my car when I have to have it fixed. They always take pictures of what is wrong and show it to me. I have never had a shop do that before and it makes me trust them even more with my vehicle. Josh and the guys that work there are great. I have been a long time customer. Last November I decided to replace my engine rather than buy a different vehicle. In June the engine started to make noise.Turns out there was a problem with the new engine. Josh ordered another one and this too was defective. A third engine did the trick. All of this was covered under the existing warranty on the first engine. None of this extra work cost me a dime. I could not be more pleased with Josh and his crew. And he has the best coffee in town.

Josh and his guys have found a number of both repair and maintenance items on my vehicles that other mechanics have missed. Once these issues were discovered they have been more that willing to discuss what items should be priorities and what the risks of not completing the work were allowing me to make an educated decision. I wont buy another used car without have they guys at advanced looking it over first to ensure Im getting a good quality vehicle.

Josh and the guys are great! Excellent customer service! Ive been taking my car to them for well over a year now due to a fuel pump to basic oil changes to getting new tires put on! They do their best to squeeze you in their schedule when your in a pinch and your car breaks down and you need it for work! They have saved my butt a few times!

These guys are the real deal. Very friendly and explain everything well. They have even taken the extra step to have a large screen in the waiting area to show pictures to you of the issues on your vehicle so you can understand what they are wanting to fix for you. Highly recommend these guys. I will be bringing all my vehicles to them.

Have had some major repairs recently to my vehicle in the last 6 months...Josh and Larry were great to work with. Provided me with a loaner vehicle, checked in on the status of work done. No BS, thoroughly explain whatwis happening, honest and super friendly guys. Josh even came in on the weekend so I could get something I needed out of my vehicle. My car overheated on I-94. They took very good care of me and were very understanding and kind. They laid out all of the options I had, and I decided to scrap the car. They allowed me to keep my car in their lot until I found someone to come pick it up rather than having to tow it back to Fargo. Great people and great service

We moved to the area 4 years ago and stumbled into Advanced Auto Care by chance. It has proven to be an outstanding move. The work is done on time, on budget. They are courteous, professional and most of all, concerned that they are meeting our expectations for taking care of our vehicles. We have been absolutely satisfied with the experiences at Advanced Auto Care and will continue to use their business for our car care needs.

Josh and his crew are top notch! I called on short notice the morning after Christmas day and they worked to fit me into the schedule. They listen to what you have to say, about how your car is acting up and try to give you the best option to remedy the issue. They have a TV/Computer screen in waiting room where they can show you exactly how the worn the parts are on your vehicle, and will explain if it is dangerous to keep driving it that way. They also will ask you if you want to replace other damaged or worn out parts they encounter, while working on the broken parts you already know about. They do not just fix the extra parts without notifying you first ahead of time like some repair shops. Thus charging you more to your bill and expecting you to pay it upon completion of the repair work and you getting a huge surprise bill. They also often offer a ride service back to your house/work, providing you dont live/work unreasonably far way, so you dont necessarily have to wait a few hours for your car to be finished. All in all, good people. Treat them with respect and youll get it in return!

Great service, Great quality work with complete aftermarket parts. Really took the time to get it done right. Did great research to make sure it was done proper. Car drives and handles better than factory. Highly recomended to take all your automotive toys to for outstanding work.

Day1: Truck broke down on the highway — got it towed here and they had it diagnosed within 20 minutes. Got a ride to a nearby hotel from shop staff (courtesy shuttle.) Prices are reasonable with extremely friendly staff. Great place to go if you’ve broken down and, I’d imagine, for regular service. If I lived near here, they’d be my shop of choice.Day2: they have the part on the way and may possibly have it done today. 1 day turnaround on Powertrain issues is great. I would highly recommend this place. I broke down on the interstate on my way home from college, by the time I was towed to the shop it was almost 5, and they were only open until 5:30. They ran a diagnostic, found out I had blew my bypass hose. Immediately they were on the phone with the parts store and told me they would stay late to fix it and get me back on the road. If you want someone who genuinely cares about what they are doing and are willing to help as much as they can, this is the shop you need to go to!

Stopped in Fergus Falls for a few days and needed a minor repair to my car. Asked a local for a reputable shop and they referred me to Advanced Auto: professional courtesy, technically competent, friendly, and didnt take advantage of the out-of-towner. Highly recommend. 5-Stars!

This auto repair shop seems to have a good, common sense approach to the whole process. After diagnosing the problem, they phone you. Their estimates are accurate. I cant remember a time when they didnt have my car ready on the day promised. And they dont run rough-shot over you with extra repairs that are way out of scope from what you originally wanted done. Once nice feature too, they have a video monitor right above the customer/reception desk that theyll use to show you actual photos of the trouble spots they found on your auto.

I have had my car repaired there a couple of times. I have nothing but high praise for these guys!!! Recommend to everyone. Very friendly and fair prices.. Thank you!!

Im not from Fergus Falls so Im not familiar with the auto care options in the area. Im so glad that I called here when I had car troubles halfway through a trip from Grand Forks to Coon Rapids. I talked to Larry and described the problem and he said to come on by and theyd check it out for me. They were working on another vehicle when I arrived but still got my vehicle examined and diagnosed almost right away. There was one major issue (brake caliper leaking) and a minor one (bad/old spark plugs). Rather than milking me for every dollar they could, Larry walked me through the options for repair and told me what needed to be done to travel safely, and what could wait until later without safety concerns or potential damage to other parts of my vehicle. He ordered the part, and called the parts store and offered to go pick it up in order to get it right away. The work was done quickly and I was back on my way.In addition to the efficient level of service, I was very pleased with the atmosphere. The waiting room is small, but nicely equipped with a TV, coffee, a nice selection of reading materials for men, women AND kids, and I even noticed a play mat and a variety of toys.Larry was very friendly and personable and chatted with me about my travels, cars, our kids, the many geese in the area, and more, making the short time I waited fly by. He even called later to make sure Id made it safely without problems to my destination.I cant say enough about how happy I was with my experience at Advanced Auto Care. Id say it was probably the best experience Ive ever had at an auto mechanic. I wish this place was in my hometown. Broke down on highway on visit to family up north. Tried to get help at local dealer, got a sneer when I told them I was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe. They were at least kind enough to tell me about Advanced Auto. Advanced Auto helped me immediately, as if I were a regular customer and friend. It was a relief and meant we could continue on vacation virtually without interruption. Everyone was very kind and friendly. TAKE EVERY AUTO NEED HERE but these are the only guys with experience in Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Honda etc. Cost was better than my Twin Cities dealer. Wish I lived in Fergus Falls!

This place is a huge rip off, way over priced. I was charged $79 for an oil change on a 2014 Dodge Durango, when every where else I have gone its cost me around $30. The owner was not friendly when I questioned on why it cost so much. Would not recommend going here, unless you like way over paying for the work being done to your vehicle.

Had a problem come up this morning explained my situation, and they got me in immediately. Very good to work with I would recommend them and will be a return customer in the future.
