I had the best experience at Hinkamp this month. We were new to the area and a military family. I managed to break my wedding band and needed some repair. Wally fixed me up and for a reasonable price point. I also purchased two additional rose gold bands in there for the 10 year anniversary. I love how upfront and honest they were with price, time frame, and options. I will be going back for all repairs or new purchases and to take my Bulova watch in for a new battery.

I could not have chosen a better jeweler. Hinkamp Jewelers treated my husband and I with kindness and respect, and they did a fantastic job with our jewelry needs.!!Update!!: after inspecting my rings, I noticed damage had been done to them while in Hinkamp’s care. I took the rings back and they were more than happy to fix them. While they were able to repair it for the most part, the damage is still minimally visible. My wedding band and engagement ring are now permanently damaged after my service here.They were still very kind and helpful about fixing it as well as they could, but it still is deeply unfortunate that my ring was perfect before arrival and damaged after picking it up from them.

The owner is the real gem here. I came into his store with an heirloom timepiece that needed some work that came out to 75 dollars. Upon picking my watch up I noticed a scratch that for the life of me I didnt recall earlier but without hesitating the owner told me he would replace the crystal. Treating me, as customer spending $75 this way spoke volumes and I will be bringing my business back when I am looking for my next piece. 10/10

I found Hinkamp through their amazing Google reviews and decided to take them my wedding set to get resized. I dropped it off on a Thursday and got a call Saturday morning it was finished. They did a wonderful job and I’ll be back for sure!

Oversizes rings. Sized my ring 2 sizes too big and same with my husband which cost us $. Employee was also unprofessional on the phone. Might want to hang up before you start to talk bad about customers who were nothing but polite. I’m sorry someone doesn’t want to wait 2 weeks for a Diamond quote and found a better price online. Would not recommend unless you like paying extra and having your ring falling off your finger because it’s too loose.

Wally Hinkamp and crew have got to be some of the best people around. I didnt shop in a jewelry store, I shopped in a family business and was treated like family. Wally walked me through all the points of the quality of diamonds and afterwards, I gave him a budget that I was working with. Wally not only found a top quality diamond, he gave me choices in my price range and did not try to squeeze every penny out of my top range. I went in to have an older bracelet repaired. The ladies were extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations regarding the repair. They discussed multiple options with me and answered my many questions. The repair was completed quickly and the bracelet is secure again. The cost was very reasonable and the entire experience was very pleasant. I will be back!

Wally has been my jeweler for 22 years despite the fact that I have moved 6 times in that period and do not live in North Carolina. Most recently, I asked Wally to make a custom ring made for my wife to celebrate our 22nd anniversary-----and she loves it! Whenever I need a piece of jewelry, as I have many times, I call Wally. That included when my wifes engagement ring was stolen and I needed to relace it. Wally searched and found a diamond with the same weight, color, clarity, and cut as my wifes original and it really made her feel like she got her ring back.When I first got married, my father-in-law told me, You need two things now that you are married. A good accountant and a good jeweler. I have had several accountants in the past 22 years, but only one jeweler. I could not give a higher recommendation than I give to Wally and Hinkamp Jewelers....and I can be a tough customer.
