She is awesome and she made our experience flawless just like the 10th anniversary diamond ring she helped me and my wife pick out. It’s people like her that truly know the meaning of customer service and Kay’s jewelry is very lucky to have her! 100% recommend going to the Lumberton location over the Cross Creek location. This location wanted to charge me for a diamond that came out of my engagement ring and insisted I didnt have a warranty and the lifetime warranty was void because it wasnt showing in their system that I had gotten it inspected/cleaned. They also complained how slow and old their computers are which were running on windows 98. I had my ring inspected 4 months ago even though Kay has posted a grace period was given due to Covid this location was rude and still insisted due to them not seeing it in the system that it was then void.I actually called the Lumberton store while here and they told me they would take care of everything to just visit them. I went today and they were great. My ring got sent off today to be repaired and I will for now do business solely at that location.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE THROUGH AFFIRM!!!! Whatever you do DO NOT USE AFFIRM with Kay jewelers. There is so much hidden stuff that they don’t tell you like it’s a one time purchase card and if you return the jewelry you can’t use the Affirm card that the money is returned to. I only needed a bigger size and was told they could resize it for $25 but when I got in store they wanted me to make another purchase. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
Terrible service at best went in for and exchange service was so bad I just told them to give me a Total refund on a Movado watch. Manager seem to not even know what she was doing. Then for my refund they need to send me a check. Claiming no cash on hand, so in other words I’ll have to wait ten days for a check to be sent. The service was just unacceptable I doubt I’ll buy from them for a long while.
I really can’t blame nobody else but myself for not enough knowledge on jewelry lol.. I bought a 900$ promise ring from Kay’s in cross creek mall thinking since it was a tad bit expensive for me that it’ll hold some type of value no matter what.. long story short the promise ring was given back, the relationship didn’t go to well and when I tried to pawn or sell the ring later on I was told it was only worth about 20 bucks by 3 different stores.. so i wouldn’t recommend going here because of how fancy they may look they’ll rip ya off

Ordered an item on may 8 and it said the arrival date was going to be June 22 and I would not get charged until order ships and I get told that this one particular item has to be withdrawn automatically and here we are over a month later and still nothing so I contact them and all they can say is I’m sorry and that’s it. I refuse to do business with them ever again
Got my jewelry inspected today, a different piece inspected yesterday, they got right to me both times. I was helped by a different person both times. Both sales associates were professional and nice and I didnt have to wait for anything. Im satisfied.

Nick is an awesome Assistant Manager with Kays Jewelers in Fayetteville. He was extremely helpful and patient with me. He is very detailed oriented and provided me all of the guidelines I needed with this purchase. His customer service is top notch and hes an asset to this business. My husband and I came here to look at a ring for me and we spoke with Alia and she was extremely rude. I caught a glimps of a ring she had in a little baggie that was about the style I was looking for so I asked if I could just take a quick peek at it from inside the bag and she very rudely explained that it was another customers ring and that she couldnt show us for whatever reason. My husband and I looked at each other like why is she being so rude. Im sure whos ever ring it was would not have minded if we took a quick look. We werent even trying to hold it or anything. Needless to say we just walked away and took our business elsewhere.
I always get the best customer service when I visit. Katrina from the Fayetteville NC store is the best, and we always enjoy visiting to learn about new sales and promotion, and of course purchases.
Before going into this location my husband and I called just to verify if it would be alright for me to go and get my ring cleaned without him considering he was the one who purchased the item. I got there and spoke with a African American female who turned out to be very snooty, stuck up, and rude just to verify if it would be alright if I had gotten my ring cleaned and that there wouldnt be a problem since my husband wasnt with me and she had stated that it was ok. Because her whole attitude about the whole thing from me greeting her and asking her questions was just terrible I proceeded to ask her if I could buy the jewelry cleaner so I would never have to come in the store again to get my ring cleaned and then she asked me for my BOYFRIENDS information which I had clearly stated at the beginning that he was my husband and I gave it to her and proceeded to ask her why she needed this information. She tells me she needed his information just so she doesnt have to put my information in the computer which didnt make much sense to me because I am the one who has the ring I just feel like she just didnt want to do her job and it could have took no more than two seconds to just put my name on the account. I think she definitely needs to take a class on customer service and how to treat and and greet her guest when entering the store because her attitude was very poor and she needs to work on it.

Have spent thousands of dollars with these people for my wife to be treated like crap everytime she goes in there. Employees r rude. They Act like they r better than there customers. Dont dare go in there after leaving gym or looking like u have no money because u will be treated even worse. Ive owned businesses and these people have no clue about customer service. Wife just went back in today to pick up her necklace. They would not return it to her even though she had a picture Id. Was not her license but still was a form of Id. Just time wasted not to mention how rude they where to her. Have spent my last dollar with these people. Stay away. Nothing but bad service and headaches.

Worst sales reps Ive ever talked to. Walked in and the female got pushed aside by the male rep who proceeded to tell me exactly what kind of jewelry I needed to buy. Left after 5 minutes because I was so frustrated by how little they cared about what I actually wanted.

Wont pick up calls unless they feel like it. Communicated with them multiple times about an order and they still messed it up. Very Im unhappy with service. Glad I called corporation to find out where my order was delivered, or I never would have received my ring.
Went back to Kays to pick up a new necklace because my previous one couldn’t be picked up. Which was held up with confusion between staff because she couldn’t find out where my necklace was. When you take it in to get repaired. That’s exactly what happens lol. I took it in. You guys send it off to whoever to try and fix it. So my new chain was giving to me in an awkward manner like I stole an already broken chain.

MILITARY BEWARE: If you buy their extended warranty, your stones must be inspected every six months (no exceptions)... I bought a wedding set and one stone kept falling out. Unfortunately, they informed me that even if you are overseas you must have an inspection every six months. Last time I checked, there are no reputable jewelers in Iraq, so youre totally screwed if you have a problem and are away for more than six months. Also, the manager is very rude. He laughed at my situation. DO NOT BUY from this company - THEY DONT STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS OR THEIR PRODUCTS!!!

Ive had nothing but problems with this location. On valentines day my husband bought me a gift from the Kays in alaska for me to pick up here in fayetteville because he is stationed there. They called me to pick it up but when I got there they couldnt find it. Another time I went there to get a necklace repaired and talked to a male associate about getting my ring inspected when I picked up my necklace he told me if I couldnt find the paperwork it would be ok because they could just look it up. When I returned to get my necklace I didnt have the paperwork and the female associate was rude and wouldnt inspect my ring without it. Today I went to pick up my anniversary gift and was told I couldnt until my husband called customer care. He ended up putting me on the account and the associate had to call to figure out how to release it to me. Are you kidding me train your associates!!! My friend was with me looking at jewelry and no one asked if she needed help but when two men came in 2 associates helped them. The other review was right we are a military town and they are not military friendly.
