I will highly recommend getting your appliances from Major Appliance Co in Fayetteville NC. My family has been getting appliances there for 25 years or more. He could have sold me a dryer that I didnt need, instead he sent his repair man to repair my dryer. He really saved me money. I am on a fixed income. That shows real concern for people and not just trying to get a dollar.

I recently had a terrible experience with a different local appliance company who failed to diagnose and fix my washer correctly. As a last resort, I contacted Major Appliance who sent a technician named Willy to look at my washer. Willy took his time, watched a complete cycle, and listened to my explanation of the issue. Willy informed me of what could’ve been causing the issue and ordered the part. After he replaced the part, he stayed and ran a cycle to ensure that it was working properly. He also took the time to educate me about the part and how it effects the washer. So far so good! My washer is now running flawlessly again, thanks to Willy being thorough and having a great attention to detail. He was a complete opposite from the other company who just rushed through to make a quick buck. Thank you and kudos to you Willy!!!

Had to get a new washer as my old one of 10 years died. When we purchased our last set we did so at a small hometown appliance store (out of state) and that experience taught us to go back to an appliance store instead of the big box stores. I am so happy we did. The customer service during the purchase was pleasant and easy. The two delivery men were both very pleasant and friendly. They arrived on time, took out the old set and brought in the new. The whole process was maybe 30-40 min at most and I was ready to wash! We decided to go with the Speed Queens for their longevity and durability (the old set were front loads and both had been serviced during their 10 year life). The speed queens we purchased have an included 7 year parts and labor warranty-so that was a nice bonus. I’ve washed everything I possibly could over the weekend to test theses workhorses out and I must say I am completely satisfied. A new fridge is next on my list and I will return to Major Appliance for that as well.

Scheduled for them to come out between 10-2, At 145pm they called to rescheduled due to the truck having issues. Totally understandable. Rescheduled for the following week between 9-10. At 1002 I called cause no show. Was told it was between 10-12 and they were already out for delivery. The person on the phone had no remorse or anything from the frustration, he just said “just reschedule”. I took off of work for 2 days for this. Not okay. Don’t use. Especially if you are a rental company.

Poor customer service- I requested service for our tenants refrigerator and the tech went out quickly and diagnosed the issue. While onsite he called me and explained his findings and quoted the repairs. I gave him the approval over the phone however no work could be scheduled until the initial service call was paid. (I have to admit that is kind of odd since most repair companies go out diagnose the issue, get approval on repairs and bill once the repair is made.) We had to call twice for the initial invoice to be sent so we could have our bookkeeper send a payment and work scheduled. On our second call we let them know once they received payment to please reach out and schedule the repair. No contact was ever made. We have sent emails and even called again to verify the payment had been received and to request them to schedule service which they said they would. Still yet no contact has been made. This is now going on for six months. I called last week to get an update and was told I would need to speak to the owner. I called again today. Every time Im told the owner is out of the office or on the phone. I stayed on hold for 20 minutes today hoping to get this issue resolved before being put to voicemail without anyone coming back to the line. Once I tried calling back they put me directly to voicemail. At the end of the day I would have called another vendor for service but this one had already be out and charge the diagnostic fee, knows the issue and parts needed. I would never recommend this company for service and will take them from our approved vendors list for our property management company and real estate services. This is the first review I have ever made but service or care for the customer is so bad people should know.

Ive not purchased anything from here. Ive called several times looking for boxes at different places and got turned down. This one has been very helpful and I appreciate that they have helped me to accomplish several art projects, by allowing me to grab empty boxes when needed. Thank you so much.

Shopped around and found the best deal at Major Appliance.I always prefer to give my business to a local owner and Bill Jenkins gave me the best deal plus personal service and great knowledge about his products. He knew where the condo I updated was located and aboutthe layout of the units. He also helped arrange a carpenter to recover the counter-tops. We replaced an older Jenn-Air oven for a new model. The installation involved some cabinet work and cutting of our granite counter top. Bill Jenkins not only gave us a good price on the unit, he provided us with a cabinet maker - a true craftsman - to handle the install. It turned out great! We are extremely satisfied with the entire transaction.

Friendly staff, very helpful. Delivery was running s lottle late they called ahead to let me know they were running behind, but arrived exactly at the rescheduled time. They were in an out of my house in 20 minutes. They double checked everything before they left. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service I received from this business. If I could put 6 stars I would.

I havent actually done any business with Major Appliance Co. I can say that when I spoke with them about a wall oven they answered all my questions thoroughly and took the time to look up the info I requested. The lady who answered the phone was pleasant and directed me to exactly who I needed to speak to. Thank you guys 👍

Rude customer service. While browsing I could hear an employee talking to a customer. When he hung up, he starting talking about the customer. He said she probably didnt know how to check a breaker maybe she should check with somebody that could. Bottom line, they said she could wait until next week for service and maybe she will call someone else before they can get to it. This is a conversation between employees. Maybe they should have to find a new job because obviously they feel secure enough to not care about potential business. My family will not be back.

We asked about a downdraft ventilator for our slide-in stove, and he immediately told us there is no such product. Then I named the Best catturra we are in search of, and my husband told him wed seen the videos for several such products. Then he tried to say he had a customer who installed one and regretted it. I doubt that. Rather than admit his lack of knowledge, he tried to bluff his way through. By the way, the product were searching for is on display in Wilington at Atlantic Appliance, and their salesman is extremely courteous and knowledgeable.

I was referred to them by my Property Mgt for an appliance repair. When I called to let Beverly know I wouldnt be home on the scheduled day, she started bad mouthing me, saying how she couldnt stand customers like me, I was lucky she didnt move me to next weeks schedule, I was acting like a b***h, etc. Turns out...Beverly THOUGHT she was actually talking to my property manager and had NO idea she was actually speaking to ME!!! When I finally spoke up, she got flustered and gave the phone to her manager, who was just as rude and callous as her. He defended her actions of trash talking customers behind their backs, and then had the nerve to tell ME I was the one being snippy. Extremely unprofessional and lack of customer service skills. And after reading these other negative reviews, I guess I shouldve expected it. It appears as though badmouthing customers is what their known for. I would not suggest this company to ANYONE!!
