This is in regard to the customer service counter. Two separate occasions, I called HT service desk ahead of time to verify I would be able to pick up XXX amount of dollars from Western Union.... The rep on the phone tells me it will not be an issue and they could accommodate me, only for me get there to be told they do no cash out more than $500. It is a big inconvenience because this was during my lunch break at work. Had I been provided that correct info, I would not waist the drive. Management make sure your staff is properly trained across the board. The service desk obviously is not on the same page and it was at my expense.

Nice Teeter, and great employees. The cellular coverage in the store is awful though. Makes it impossible to call or check anything online.

I had the great sushi for $5 (Friday special). The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the item didnt reflect the sale price, but I didnt want to go back to get a less than a $1 back.

The best Harris teeter in the country and the manger Lynn Harper is the nicest lady my kind of manager on top of her game and ready made meals honestly the best and fastest but not like junk food i say this store is a gold star winner

It’s a nice place with nice people and good, fresh produce. I always went there to buy the Dannon whole fat plain jogurt and they have been out of it so many times, maybe they aren’t selling it anymore. That’s a shame. 🙁

First visit to my new local HT. Wonderful. Free, easy access underground parking. Wonderful clean, large store with great selection and friendly employees. Visited beef and picked up some pre-made fresh patties and bbq chicken wings. Very nice lunch bar; salmon and chicken... check! Fresh pizza bar... next time. Wine section of course, nice. Just made moving to new place, that much better.

I have grocery store anxiety. This is one of the few stores I feel ok about. It is not too crowded.

Im giving this HT an additional 🌟 because of the exceedingly pleasant visit I just concluded. And this wasnt anything to do with me really but I came into the store and it seemed as if there was a shift change underway. Perhaps the day crew giving way to the night folks. But the interactions between the workers were just wonderful to see! They were happy to see each other, sharing broad smiles and gentle needling like we all enjoy in a positive work environment. It was really very nice to see and observe... especially given the awful conduct we observe in other workplaces in the DC area! Keep it up HT crew! Youre making the world a better place!

This has great selection and good deals for fruit at this time. This place is the best for night shopping!

Shelves not well stocked, carbonated water was practically empty. Employee at checkout bundled $65+ total items in one bag and my backbrace was visible.

Always lots of fresh options, I go shopping here on my lunch break and eat lunch here as well. Staff is helpful and friendly.

I have used the express lane service twice now and am very impressed with the high degree of care and thoughtfulness that goes into shopping. Pricing is fair and I appreciate the personal touch of a voice-mail letting me know that my order is ready and detailing what substitutions have been made. When you arrive to pickup there is a pleasant colleague to greet you and load your groceries for you- the process could not be easier. I dont know what took me so long to try Harris Teeter after shopping at wegmans for so long. As a healthcare worker during a pandemic the last thing I want to do is wade through a busy grocery store after a long day, so I truly appreciate this service and all that work hard to provide it. Thank you!

Just the most poorly-designed HT or grocery store I’ve ever been to. I had no issues with the stock levels, selection, or freshness but the layout is horrible and it’s a terrible parking lot.

The overall was okay. Ive been in other Harris Teeters with better selections. The checkout is painful! Spenser the cashier is so slow. It took 15 minutes to check out 1 cart. Harris Teeter is trying to copy Trader Joes check out process. Its a BIG fail!! Will never come here again

As usual out of half the sale items. Red cherries, ground turkey and Canada Dry. Also surprised that my special discounts on eggs ended on Sat. Thats a new one on me. Also no 10 per cent off on six bottles of wine and I was almost charged for my wine carrying case that I brought in. Otherwise,a fine store. You just need to have the things you advertise.

I just finished Clorox-wiping my groceries and having a Silkwood shower after my last-ever visit to Harris Teeter in Falls Church. This had been my go-to store, I know exactly where everything is so that I can shop quickly and get out fast. I specifically choose late in the evening times to avoid other shoppers. It takes a lot for me to work up the courage to even go to the grocery store these days. The new Covid-19 variant is up to 70% more contagious so I am trying to be 70% more careful. I was there tonight with very few patrons in the store during a local playoff game. When I went to the self checkout, a clerk said that he could help me. I said that I prefer to do it myself, and he politely said that he understood. Then another employee (Hatem), who was apparently in charge of the lines, insisted that I had too many items to go to self check. There was no line and three open kiosks at self check so I don’t know what the issue could have been. We are in a global pandemic and I don’t want more people than necessary touching my groceries. Also, because the clerks can’t use customer bags, I had to stand next to the clerk to bag my groceries. I understand that grocery workers are frontline workers during this unprecedented time and I appreciate that the clerk was very understanding and apologetic. The situation was in no way the clerk’s fault. Harris Teeter as a company needs to do a better job of making sure their customers feel safe shopping in their stores rather than needlessly creating risky situations.

Well stocked but the produce is lacking. The leafy greens are pretty hit or miss in terms of freshness. Their bakery, meat, and seafood is always good though.

Found they have a prescription drug for my dog in stock, only place nearby with it. Also has good weekly deals.

I come to this store regularly and never had a problem until last Sunday 08/16/20. I was there around 6pm and heard the deli/ bakery staff making homophobic comments about my partner and I. How unprofessional, please retrain or fire your staff. They thought they were being subtle but it was quite obvious.

Nice, new Harris teeter. There is a parking garage with multiple entrances. Big store with big selection. Nice fresh fruit section, prepared foods, starbucks, and bar if you need a quick drink.

Was better than the Harris teeters in Ashburn most patrons and all employees worn masks properly.

Wine selection is superb and excellent value. Kudos to whomever is purchasing. Also, really great bread, and the produce is coming along. Cheese is pretty good. The workers are exceptionally nice. The wine bar is a pretty cool concept inside, but not much knowledge, maybe more tutelage would make them feel more comfortable. Love the 24 hour service.

A Love Dislike RelationshipI love the convenience of this store, I can walk there for lunch. Many store employees are very friendly and helpful. Having said that, they dont have enough check out counters staffed, even during typically busy times and the process is very inefficient, IMO. The cashiers tend to be overly chit-chatty and slow moving. Pleasant is nice, but I dont want to make friends with the cashiers, Id prefer efficiency. I also dont want to take on another part-time job checking myself out, unless Teeter wants to give me a 5% discount for saving them labor costs (this is a problem with all grocers these days. If you eliminate jobs, folks, who will be able to patronize your business?)The hot bar is the same same same every day. Mix it up, already!Now that the store has been open for almost a year, I notice that there are next to no free samples anymore, even during lunch time. Used to be cheese/lunchmeat and fruit samples. Now, nothing. I wonder if the competing Local Market across the street closing has led HT to figure they dont need to give out samples anymore.You can get good deals if you shop the sales but for the bulk of my grocery shopping, I still use Giant, and I get gas discounts.

Wow this a a very nice store, well be coming back. Weve been to the new Whole foods in Tyson corner which is very nice but what we realized is the Whole foods got a lot of there info from Harris teeter because Harris teeter has been here for 3 years in Falls Church VA. Aged meats and seafood just amazing.

My go to grocer is now a block away from where I live. Super convenient! The store is open 24x7 and is large enough for a couple of hot bars along with a large salad bar, a well stocked meat and fish counter, a coffee shop, and a bar to have a glass of wine or a beer from one of the 12 taps. Shopping is now much more fun! There is plenty of parking in the garage if you are not walking. A great addition to The Little City of Falls Church!

Well organized store with fairly convenient parking. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. Good selection of beer, wine, ice cream, vegetables, meat (including dry aged beef), fish, and prepared foods. There store has a small bar where you can enjoy craft beer on draft, and if youre hungry you can try some of the tasty dishes that are freshly prepared at the store. I took a star off because every time I wanted to purchase grapes, nearly all of the packages on the shelf were already opened with some grapes missing. Also, Ive found packages of vegetables covered in mold. However, the store has enough good things going for it that I am happy to be a regular customer.

This is a great Harris Teeter. Theres parking underground and the grocery itself is massive with any item youd want. The thing that makes this even more awesome is the wine section. They have an area where a wine expert will shop with you recommended wines for your own palate. Its AMAZING!

What a convenient contradiction. They should allow returns and implement contact-less payments.

I was the Starbucks manager at this location and I strongly urge people to walk down the street and go to a real Starbucks. TL;DR - If you complain as a customer or employee, we will gang up on you, lie, and falsify reports so we (the managers) dont get in trouble. We fire people who know too much, annnnddd we break policy all the time. Example: I smoke weed all the time. Lots and lots. Id fail my drug test so they lost one and then lost a second all so Id have time to sober up and pass one. They even told me that if I get picked for a random one theyd make sure itd get lost too because they dont want to re-hire a manager! Dont worry though, I dont work there anymore because I had to report all this to a District Manager... Ronnie Cash... Who knows this is happening but openly acknowledged that he cant fix these types of problems.... So I quit. Happy shopping! FYI. We dont have real security so youll get away with theft after 6:00pm

Great location in the heart of Falls Church, but be prepared for relatively high prices. Be sure to use your VIC card to get great deals on select items. Best place for meat in the area! Always fresh, delicious, and well cut. With the VIC card you can also get great discounts, but shop carefully! No deals on wine to be found here.

Clean, well-staffed grocery store with garage parking. Nice produce department and butcher, wine selection and seasonal items. Nice selection of gluten-free items. Weak areas are the bakery and non-dairy foods. I usually find most of my list here, but not all. In any case, it is a pleasure to shop here.

Since this Harris Teeter opened Ive stopped shopping at all other local grocery stores. The place is immaculate, the staff is friendly, and prices are reasonable. There is a nice hot food bar with wine and beer bar where you can try some of the great local varieties. With 24/7 hours this excellent choice if you need to grab some groceries last minute.

I do most of my grocery shopping at this store, it can be a little more expensive than the competition but the quality of the products here is great. Ive tried many of the pastries and cakes from the bakery and theyre all delicious. I recommend the produce from here as well. I get my strawberries and raspberries here. They have a lot of organic and gluten free stuff (I dont get it but I see a lot of it). They also have a large selection of hot foods as well as a wine bar. Great store.

Since my previous detailed review disappeared Ill be shorter this time. Complete disregard of social distancing rules and absence of protective gloves/masks on most employees. Thats what I saw on Aplril,10 around 3pm.

Beautiful store. We don’t have fancy stuff like a bar in a grocery back where I come from: what a great idea! Be sure to visit the nearby Hangman’s Tree Memorial, at the corner by the barbecue restaurant, marking where the Confederates hung suspected Union spies during the Civil War.

This Harris Teeter is very nice, has a variety of bulk food options, excellent produce, great selection of beer/wine (plus a bar in the store). Many quality food options in every category. Parking Garage under the store is nice, but sometimes hard to access from Broad Street. Recommend coming in back side.

Relatively new in Falls Church city, Harris Teeter brings everything we need at walking distance. The wine collection is impressive. There are wine tasting events, and a bar where you can hang out with friends after youre done with grocery shopping. Plenty of sweets for kids and coffee if you feel sleepy.

My new favorite grocery store, and not just because I can walk to it and they are open 24/7. Great selection of fresh veggies and meats with a growing selection of organics in all departments. Impressive wine and beer collection with added convenience of an in-store bar and Starbucks. And unlike the nearby Giant, HT includes a friendly and helpful staff.

Staff are actually nice and helpful! Their fresh food department ain’t that great though.Their fried chicken been out for almost five hours; health department regulations are 4 I guess!

Im new to the Harris Teeter chain, but loved the first location I visited. This location is by far the best grocery store Ive been to in this area. I drive passed a major grocery store just to use this one. Great selection, reasonable prices, and added conveniences. If you havent gone yet, you wont be disappointed!

The store is great and well kept. I managed a rental property down the street. I was hosting a community event and needed a handful of party platters. I placed the order ahead online. Unfortunately, the pick up and event was to be held on a day we were anticipating a pretty significant snow storm. I received a personal call from Greg L in the Fresh Foods Department the day before just to confirm I would still be planning to pick up that day or would need to reschedule. I ended up rescheduling the pick up for a day later but wanted to ensure everything would be fresh. When I arrived the next day for pick up, not only was everything fresh and prepared, Greg was there to personally assist me with checking out and loading the platters into my car. GREAT customer service!

I really like this grocery store. Harris Teeter, in general, can be more expensive, but I appreciate their quality. And this Harris Teeter is clean, nice, organized, and they have a bar inside. Definite win!

My previous review seems to have disappeared, so wondering if someone(s) are reporting reviews that they dont like to change their ratings, etc. In general, more expensive than what I usually do, so left with rare eVIC specials on certain things, and/or discount shelves of stuff they are getting rid of to make space. My last from a HT was 25 lb bag of salt (~$4) which may take some time to use up personally ... Soda /seltzer etc for $0.25/ can (4/$1 must get 4 or $0.50/ can) but warm and burns feeling without it being cold/iced.. anyways noticed this stores Harry the dragon kid ride missing and inquired, its broken 😢😿. Interesting escalator for carts down (only) to basement parking (one way pickup at main level or use elevator both ways), new Columbia Pike & George Mason South Arlington store has also. Ymmv

Harris Teeter stores aim not to disappoint, and this very clean and well maintained location is no different. Add in the late open hours and convenient location and you have a first stopping point for essentials and late night food/ drink runs. There is an awkward odor when entering the store from garage level and the descending escalator isnt always operational, but these are just details. They likely have what you need and a pleasant staff to assist.

I absolutely love this place! All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! They have chefs that cook fantastic dishes daily, and make the best prime rib I have ever had! They also have a bar where you can enjoy a wide variety of beer on tap and wine.

Newest and best Harris Teeter! Their lunch to-go food is the best. I wish they always had someone at the pizza and fresh bread areas. Ive seen fresh bread stacked up behind the cabinet but I cant get to it because no one is there. Also every time there are employees having personal conversations in the middle of the store. If they could get their management and employees up to the wegmans level this would be an amazing store!

Love this place! I’m a lover of fresh vegetables, and I love the they have red organic kale, which lasted fresh in my fridge for 2 weeks without changing color or going bad until I finally had time to cook which speaks to the overall quality of their fresh veggies. Also their organic products are much cheaper compared to Whole Foods, and I’m not complaining. My checkouts usually don’t take long at all.

New Harris teeter that just recently opened. This place is clean, and the staffs here are very friendly!They have everything that I needed and the fact that it is 24 hours its definitely becoming my go to grocery place now. They have a great selection of quick foods ranging from sushi, salad, Asian stir fries, daily home cooked meals, and rotisserie style chickens for your choosing. Their vast selection of farmers market fruits and vegetables is another plus for me!

I used to live in Falls Church, just couple blocks away from Harris Teeter. It was my favorite place to get groceries. I loved the fact that they work 24 hours. You can basically get everything you would like there. At times when I felt lazy to cook dinner I would simply stop by at Harris Teeter to get their pizzas. If you have VIC card, you can get special discounts for nearly all products there. Staff is super friendly and the store itself is always clean. High standard

For years residents of Falls Church have had to fight traffic on Rt. 7 during rush hour or weekends to get to Giant, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes, so its nice to have a new grocery store so close to the center of Falls Church, and walking distance from my house! Harris Teeter has a great deli, bakery, and seafood section. Ive also tried their hot food bar for lunch and it was very good. Super easy parking, and open 24 hours!

From the outside you would never guess the size of this Harris Teeter, but it is very large, with a vast selection of items. It has a nice seating area with a full Starbucks, good but somewhat small hot bar. Produce section is quite large and varied. It can be a bit pricey if you arent careful, but you can get pretty good deals here as well. Lots of specials with the Vic rewards card.
