Fantastic prices though a few idiosyncracies
Great prices, essential staples. Love coming here.
This is my go to Aldi, while I am an Aldi fan in general, this location is always clean and orderly. The Isle of shame is often picked over, but that’s likely due to the affluence of our area. Cannot recommend this location enough!
Loved their new location at Hillwood as it is clean and well organized. They also have a section of special clearance items which were great buys. Loved the $3.99 Italian pizzas 15.5oz that they sold but did not realize that they don’t carry these all the time when I wanted to get more. So if you find something special, make sure you stock up on them. Great prices too for their taco ingredients. Don’t have to wait for a sale as their prices are low. Check their weekly specials online for even better deals.
It used to be better but the food is very heavy on snack foods. Could use far more produce like Lidl and less chips .
I had never been to an Aldi supermarket before a couple of months ago. Now I visit it weekly as it is close by, the prices are very reasonable, and the quality is good. The checkout lines move very quickly as they dont bag your items, so you must remember to take your own bags. They have a nice selection of European chocolates (German & Austrian mostly) that are a bargain. You also need to remember to take a quarter coin as you will need it to get a shopping cart. You get the quarter back when you return the cart. A very clever place and well worth a visit for those who like quality and a low price.
First time at this location.. Interesting finds
Never have cases of Canned soda .Yet a good small wine and beer sectionFresh FruitsAnd Friendly managers and staff.
Clean and busy but customer service was great!
Excellent value with fresh bread and fruit
Happy to return here after a long period of deprivation due to COVID-related absence. Great stuff.
Selection includes all essentials, quality is pretty good, prices way below other supermarkets. I like their fresh fruit and vegetables section.
Wonderful variety of foods that nourish the body. And friendly staff.
Its good, wide variety of necessary products without killing your budget, I like it.
Good prices and many products that I have come to prefer.
This is the best Aldis I have ever shopped at. There were ample checkers, and I was in and out in a matter of minutes; no standing in long lines.
Always have positive experiences here
There is no self checkout and the cashiers are extremely rude. They need to slow way down. They smash things and its really creepy and intimidating to watch them be so uptight.
Best prices and freshest food around. The Aldi find are always fun to search through with really great things at times. For everyday groceries to hard to find items ALDI is great
Clean and not crowded.
This is the best grocery store, the staff is always super friendly and my family loves their deli food
My favorite store I love to shop in all the time. There fruits and vegetables are good all the time. The juice are very reasonable and nice.👏
8/25/20This new Aldis has been here for several months, but today is the first time I have even seen this section of this shopping center.I am writing this review at 2:46 in the morning, because I cant sleep. Annoying mosquito got into the house and my mind and body wont rest until Ive killed it, but I digress. This store is very clean and organized from what I saw. The place was having a high peak of customers checking out when I was there and three cashiers were doing their thing to move the lines along.Maybe its just me, but I noticed a lot of the associates have the friendly, but not to friendly demeanor. Think of it as a fake smile with something hidden underneath. There is horror game where everyone is smiling, but if you dont smile or act like everyone else you become a threat...but I digress....I dont remember the name of this game, but I digress again...Still this place is very cool and now I have three Aldis to choose from close to my home in Falls Church.Prices at Aldis are very give Lidi a run for its money.
Clean, safe, great organics and non-gmo, very affordable, lots of parking, helpful staff..... winner!
I like Aldi prices and quality especially their cheese is delicious
Cheap quality products and a clean environment
I love the store and products, but I wish they wouldnt start shutting down so long before closing time. They had all the refrigerated items behind shutters because they were shutting down before they closed. This made it too difficult to shop for refrigerated items. I love the mindset of a store that posts closing time as no earlier than, but unfortunately Aldi employees wanted their procedures done before closing time came. I understand their desire to work ahead in prep for closing, but not when it diminishes the customer experience. Friendly cashier!
Very poor management. Minimum number of employees who have to do everything at the same time. Although it is owned by Trader Joe’s But it is day and night different in service compared to the parent company. Always long line to check out since they only open one or two registers.
Great prices. you go to aldis where saving money is the priority. it does not have the selection/variety of the biggest supermarket chains. but its no frills bare bones operation is what leads to best bang for the buck.
I love ALDI very close to my house I wish to work with them 😓 they never see my application
Great prices, but why are they always out of frozen mixed vegetables these days?
Very nice and pleasant
Its a good Aldi.
Nice, larger-sized ALDI with all the products and special buys weve all come to expect. Google Maps completes its navigation just a little sooner than Id prefer when navigating from certain directions, so it could use an extra sign round the back. But otherwise its great.
BEAUTIFUL STORE
Great location, great prices and good quality. They have some well known American brands, imported products and private brand. Usually you will find everything you need to cook regular meals but if you want fancy meals maybe its not the place for you. Although they can surprise you.
Great grocery in the area. Clean, provide good quality food.
Very good prices and very fast service
Almost everything I need and good prices.
I go cause, if you can find what you need its cheaper. Probably half the time what you need they dont have. Biggest problem, they completely ignore all Covid19 precautions. If I get Covid19, its from here. Its the highest risk place I go, sadly to save money, because cost of food has gone so high.
Bargains in every aisle! Aldi carries some brands, but its mostly their own brands. Good produce, wines, cheeses, lower-priced clones for some items. Many items imported from Germany. Worth a trip so you can compare. You need a quarter to get a cart and you bag your own groceries.
Great place. Just found out that this store opened. Milk and bread is definitely cheaper than most other places. The produce section is definitely on the smaller side. But I really do not care. Friendly customer service although checkout can take a little bit of time.
Good selection, great prices.REALLY fast cashiers.Make sure you bring a quarter, youll need it to get a cart.Bring your own bags, they dont have the typical grocery bags. They do however have some boxes available in limited supply.
Convenient grocery store for quick and easy shopping.
Good store, good customer service. Products are fresh and reasonable price
Love Aldi. High quality produce and very good value for money
A fine store with good things to buy
New store! Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is new inside. Prices for most items are cheaper than a grocery store. Remember to bring a quarter for shopping cart. Parking lot is a little bananas but I always like to park on the side where there are spaces available.
The prices are great and the staff are super friendly!
02/27/2020 7:00-ish PM. I was shopping on my way home and the lady at the front of the line was giving the cashier a tough time over a cart or a bag or something. She kept turning around to us in line and taunting the cashier. She was very obviously looking for an argument but the cashier stayed calm and kept his cool. He happened the situation with aplomb. I didn’t get his name but you the real MVP my guy!P.S. I love Aldi and this is the best location I’ve ever been to.
I love ALDI- I got to say the price is right. I was shopping at grocery stores closer to my house in Arlington but I am driving an extra 10 min just for the deals. I love that avocados are under $1 and I can find fair priced veggies and meats. The store has everything I need. I would recommend brining your own bags- bags are cheap to buy but still..
Great selection at affortable prices!
Quality and convenience. Great prices and delicious food. Dont forget your quarter! :)
Cheap eats; quality products.
Extremely poor service, the cashier was literally throwing all the groceries into a cart mashing fragile items and damaging packages. I asked him to be more careful he replied theres nothing I can do and left right after throwing the receipt in my cart..I spoke with Mohammed who identified himself as a manager(both employees did not have their badges),he apologized, but did not even asked who was the cashier... UNACCEPTABLE!!!
The store opened this week.Well organized and clean.Excellent customer service.Lots of organic items such as organic produce (organic spring mix, apples, tomatoes, bananas, avocado...), organic dairy (milk, cheese), organic meats (chicken, ground beef), and organic pantry items (spices, cereal...). Not sure of the source though because many of the organic items do not list country of production (such as the organic spices for example). There is a variety of other items that are seasonal such as clothing, shoes, toys...Plenty of free parking though it was crowded on the day of the grand opening.Don’t forget to take a quarter if you need a cart.
Aldis has good prices on most things, especially vegetables, eggs, milk, and even meat. Great when they run specials. My husband and I brought about six corned beefs when they ran a special. However. Down side, they will have one checker and eight to ten people in line. Inconvenient when you only have three or four items. Upside, the line moves fairly fast.
I didn’t know there was a closer location to me than the Alexandria one until today. This one was way nicer. It seemed to have more of everything, cleaner, and more people working the checkout (friendly staff too.) I’ll be going to this one from now on!
I go to ALDI to buy cheese and spices. It is half the price at ALDI than it is at Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, or Giant. I have not had any luck with their blueberries. They seem to always be too sour for me, but most of their vegetables are good. However, I do find that the cashiers rush customers through the checkout line. I wish the cashiers would first ask for bags that customers have to bag their groceries because most customers bring their own bags), and then begin ringing items up at the cash register. Otherwise, the customer ends up trying to bag their own groceries while the cashier is already ringing up the next customer.
I love this store! Prices are awesome, and only having one Aldi brand of most things means I save time not having to compare multiple choices. I especially love this new Falls Church location, as its only 7 minutes from my house in 7 Corners.
ALDI is quickly becoming a fraud and I predict will become a train wreck within the next 2 years. Rising prices on increasing numbers of products, the continual lessening of quality on their store brands, and consistent misrepresentation by ignoring the Double Back Guarantee they promote.
Dont always have everything but but the prices are good
My favorite grocer! Clean, good selection, excellent value on most items.
Nice and affordable.
Brand new, clean, and organized. Cashiers are quick. Little to no lines with their efficiency. Thank you.
Large store, good selection, even a good variety of gluten free and non wheat/rice items! Decent prices compared to other less expensive grocery stores, ie Trader Joes. Small wine and liquor section. Glad this german company came over and is becoming more popular!
Don’t buy meat from here or check before buy. I just bought meat they have date till 17 December but it was expired and smell so bad. They’re selling bad stuff. Just be careful I’ll never go to Aldi again.
Friendly personal clean and always a great price
Great pricesSelectionAssociatesClean fast and friendly
Conveniently located ALDI market. Good prices and quality, free parking, fast service, Great!
Well organized. Attentive staff. Wide variety of cheese and meats. Were there on opening day.
Great place to buy fresh foods...cheese, meat, poultry, fish, and veggies! Loafs of bread less than a dollar, beef is around $4.80 a pound, onions are $1.50 for a 2-3 lbs bag, pack of hotdogs $0.79, 12 Poptarts $1.09.... Cheap food, especially for DC/Arlington area! bought 100 pounds of food for $200.
Love shopping at Aldi. Great deals and can always find the unusual.
Great deals on a lot of food items. This place always has people, but it is never too crowded.
Was bad staff attitude ridiculing gang like but may have calmed down. Some specials, older CantFinds, but things like instant vanilla pudding going up past $0.50 cents annoying... Mostly walk thru see whats changed, but have shopped there since opening, as only of my closer stores, but need to check others, if buying, end up paying more there when discounted at others nearby. GotChas...
I love this place. My favorite place to go grocery shopping.
Im a regular customer only thing for the customers no bags to carry the items, most of the customers get disappoint, hope to find a solution to improve the service for the customers satisfaction.
Was there the opening day but after the festivities in the morning. All sorts of issues with staff starting out, some of which has calmed down, perhaps by them being fired, in a reasonable world, if this little concentration camp cashier abusers subjection customers to emotional abuse and verbal tortures...
Newly opened with lots of special items than other Aldi locations...do visit you will not repent...good job Aldi
This is one of the biggest Aldis I have ever seen. This specific Aldi is very well-organized and has a lot of free parking as well
For years, I have shopped at Aldis in Europe, and now can do in my backyard. Excellent move by Aldi, for spreading their low cost with good quality in our country.
Great prices on most things!
Clean, nice variety, large selection, friendly staff, great prices
Very good prices for all vegetables, bread, eggs, and grains. Conveniently located with free parking.
Great prices and value, but the store is small. Several advertised items not available.
No shopping baskets?!?!? Charging money for shopping carts!? I havent seen this kind of service even in 3rd world countries. Im taking my business elsewhere.
A very good & organic product is there. The prices of foods r God too.
Not a regular Aldi, its huge! carries a good variety of produce
Its full all the time
Very clean and organized just wish they had more cash registers open. Every time I go there is only one open.
I go to the store always very busy only one cashier is open not good
One of the calmer shopping experiences during the pandemic
Incredible values, very clean, and great products
Great prices and very fast checkout
Very affordable and great atmosphere!
Great produce, great supplies, excellent staff
Love it
All sale items were unavailable. Like a scam
Clean good deals
