Small market with a restaurant in the back. Really enjoyed the food and the store is clean.
Great filipino grocery selection with all the essentials. Loved the food Turo Turo style thats in the back. My favorite, the beef caldereta, was very flavorful and filling. Wife was not too impressed with the tinola but she came back for seconds, so go figure..lol. All and all a definite go to place when in the area and feeling pinoy.
Best Filipino grocery in the area. Takeout is excellent.
Great supermarket with a diner in the back offering Filipino foods
Fish already cooked saves cleaning up at home
Drove from central PA for 2hrs to check this place out. First impression was great. Bought several sweets and snacks, but never tried the hot food. When we got home, we tried the palitaw; it was a huge disappointment. The palitaw was spoiled, slimy and hard. The pandesal tasted like mold, and the biko was also hard. This place sells spoiled and moldy food! Stay away for your health and safety.
This hidden gem is really a great place. There arent many Filipino places in the area, so Im happy theyre here. Super friendly staff!
A great place for all your Filipino food needs. Delicious hot food in the back.
I havent gone to this store, but I go to the nail shop located near here.
Visited this place today from West Springfield for Halo-halo. We arrived around 5:45 PM and was not greeted by the server at the food area. When she finally did a couple of minutes later she said Its the last order, we close at six with a slight attitude. The Halo-halo was not good at all, the toppings were bland and the milk tasted watered down but the tiny ice cream scoop was good. As we exited, we saw the same customer still with the cashier who I overheard speaking with an attitude towards the customer too.I dont know if there was a change in management but the service, from what I recall from previous visits, has plummeted.
Excellent, very clean store
Food is always fresh and reasonably priced. The grocery section may not have what you need (went for Skyflakes, they didnt have). They close early on Sundays. They used to close at 6PM now its 3PM.
The food was so delicious, and the service made me feel very at home! Was so happy to find a Filipino mart near where I live, will be stopping in often for amazing food and groceries I cant find anywhere else. 🇵🇭
Not WORTH the money definitely not worth 2 hours drives from home! FOODS Are Nasty the front liner lady at the Buffet was rude( MASUNGIT) ! We ordered sisig but they made us fat pork burns with lots of peppers sisig! Menudo doesnt even have meat on it but fats so does the pork bbq! I wish i got an option to upload the pics its bery disappointing! This is not an authentic Filipino foods! Not even close to one! Never gonna come back again!
From the moment you arrive in that place team give you an excellent feeling. Very courteous hosts, it is a lovely restaurant to go out with friends or with your date. Excellent meals, skillful chef, competitive price and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Prices are reasonable. Service is great. Friendly environment.
I went there snd it was Closed snd out of business.
We have been going to this store for over a decade. selection is great for filipino items. staff are great, friendly, and helpful.
Love this place! Known the owners for years and theyre doing a great job here. The groceries are always kept nicely and their food area is amazing!
Great little Filipino market in Alexandria. There is a small restaurant in back serving delicious authentic dishes. The food is always very good and the people are friendly as well.I am not Filipino, but I love visiting here for the food and items not to be found anywhere else!!
Its a small but clean store. Not much option if you are looking for something specific like groceries.
For someone who grew up in Daly City, it was a pleasant surprise seeing this shop in Baileys with all the stuff I grew up with as a kid. Definitely a great resource to pick up some stuff from halfway around the world and love the hot foods in the back. Every great asian grocery store has a hot foods section.
Amazing fresh Filipino fare that is simply excellent. The halo-halo is very good, not amazing...but definitely good. Everything else food-wise is so delicious. Reasonable prices. Quick service.
The store is well stocked and you can buy cooked Filipino foods. The cashiers are friendly and accommodating.
Its nice to have one in this area. They have fresh-made food (hot and cold) as well as some other items and a handful of produce. The ladies behind the hot bar are nice, but the young girls behind the counter always make me feel like I dont belong g there because they never smile and Im never greeted when I enter. Ive been about ten times in the past couple of months and its never happened. Its not intentional, but I appreciate good customer service. Not a super-huge deal, Ill continue to go.
Nice supermarket that has everything Filipino youd need. Also has good hot bar in the back with many food selections.
A nice Filipino store that carries a large number of products. There a lot of snacks to choose from. A large variety of original products directly imported form the Philippines possibly. It has a small turo turo Filipino restaurant in the back, although the food is not that great compared to Lumings Filipino restaurant. You get your money’s worth with Lumings. Another drawback is that prices are or item are exploitatively overpriced- for example: halo-halo $5.99. I understand, the products come from afar, its just not practical for all customers, Filipinos or not.
Nice store and convenient for us. Freshly cooked Filipino food in the back as well as the grocery items.
This spot clearly knows how to satisfy their customers. Regularly with a very friendly demeanor. The food is conveniently priced, regularly flavorful and clean.
They have a nice variety of pinoy food, the restaraunt was delicious! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. If you havent had pinoy food, go try some!
Really tasty Filipino food in a small mart. Went here for a quick bite to eat and I was definitely impressed. Will definitely go back! Also, the price for what you get (including drink) is pretty good for the DMV area. Also, the mart is a nice with a good selection.
Home away from home for a a good Filipino dish.
Filipino Global is the place to visit for Halo-Halo, kakanin (all kinds of filipino sweets) and their restaurant has good food. We came here for Safeguard soap and Cream silk conditioner but took home 5 more bags of snacks and Purefoods Corned beef.
Pinoy culture for dine in or to go. Give it a try. There will always be someone there who will explain the food items available.
Nice clean and convenient filipino asian store to shop in. Parking is limited and street quite narrow. But service is good and food cafeteria is also a great way to try out filipino food. However I am afraid the food is cooked with msg at the cafeteria something one can always inquire about at the register.
Food was great servers seems not too quick on orders not given right.
The store is a place were you can get an array of food and snacks. If you every want anything authentically philipeno, this is where you want to go.
I love this place; my comfort zone. Everything that I crave for is here. The dishes for dine in and take away are great. My husband loves bangus sisig and the beef mami with siopao. The halo-halo needs improvement though. Maybe a bit more NOT out of the can fruits? Some more cooked sweet potatoes and plantains, langka, or sweetened beans? I want the authentic halo-halo. Apart from this, everything is great!
Great Filipino Food! Feels like home in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Specialty food, good prices.Enjoy!
Great food and affordable. the market has great selection of filipino stuff.
Good people but the halo halo was not satisfying.
Helpful staff. Have lots of good stuff.
Good pilpino store like soft sweet 💋
It was really good the staff was great and their food taste really good.
Mostly imports from many different locations, Very affordable and good quality items
Love their food in the back - always hits the spot and it’s not over priced like other Filipino spots in the DMV
Very good option for Filipino food and groceries. Space is always clean and well stocked. Seldom a wait at check out for both food and grocery line.
They got a good meal selection going on at the back of the store. I ordered some carry out with some great selection of Filipino food. The only thing, I felt bad afterwards with all the styrofoam boxes they used to pack the meal. Would hope they can be a little bit more Conscious about the environment and use recyclable materials!
A little small but good selection of food
There is the cutest little cafe way inside behind all the groceries and full of ready-made Filipino food. I recommend trying all of the dishes!
I think they carry most of the traditional Filipino foods and snacks. Feels like ive always been taking back home with how much familiar the foods they cook!
Excellent selection of products...even found Misua noodles. Great selection of brands. Take out food is outstanding.
Has most of the Filipino stuff you need and like. Reasonably priced cooked food.
Poor overall restaurant service. Food was expensive and quite subpar taste.
Very clean and organized. Plenty of food choices although not as delicious compared to Manila Orientals. The way the items are well-categorized and can greatly help you save time in looking for your favorite Filipino supplies.
Best place in the DMV to get authentic Filipino food at a fraction of the popular restos in D.C..
Filipinos in Northern Virginia should know this place.
Diane who serves at the food area is very nice. DO NOT ORDER KARE-KARE!!! Unless you want to waste $15.00 of your hard earned money. It is NOT good and it does not represent filipino KareKare. Century Tuna in a can is super cheap @$1.59.
Ive experience great people awesome good job
The store is clean and I do like to get groceries there, but Im really not a fan of the food. I gave it another chance today and I spent $8 on karioka that was hard, dense, and bland even when warmed up. Besides the food, the store itself is fine.
LOVE this market! Has everything you want, including hot foods!
Clean, organized, friendly staff and owners. My favorites are the mamon its Filipino angel or sponge cake, its so good. Its a bite of heaven. They have two suppliers one from California (Goldilocks) which is more popular and one from New Jersey, the one I like prefer. For you super adventurous eaters their dinuguan is great and so is everything else they make for eat in and take out. They have another location in Oxen Hill, MD. I have only been to this one. You want to travel to the Philippines on a super low budget? Then come here.
Best people are. I love u mae
Has a pretty good selection and nice staff.
Food are horrible!I ordered sizzling pork sisig but they gave bell pepper sisig! Its very disappointing! Also their giving too small portions. Not like KABAYAN resto.
Nice food. Well stocked grocery store for a small place.
Our favorite go-to place when we want home cooking style Filipino food - like when we dont have enough time to do our own cooking.
The deli is a godsend for Filipino expat and Filipino-Americans who miss their moms food. And dont forget to stock up on your halo-halo ingredients in the main store.
For the Filipino comfort food, there is a little restaurant in the back. All the standards for take out or dine in. Ube Hopia - cannot find it anywhere else.
Great selection. They even have hot food in the back and dining area
The halo halo is sooo delish. I cant believe Im 15 mins away from a Filipino supermarket, been looking for one since I moved in Va from Jerz. The prices are reasonable, and the workers are all welcoming.
Filipino store in the east very good cooked food and grocerys
Good selection...good prepared food...very nice staff!
They have a large selection of delicious carry-out Filipino food. Their calderetta and lechon kawali are especially good.
This is a cute litte store right off of Leesburg Pike. The store has a good selection of foods to choose from and the prices are reasonable. We had lunch at the cafe and would not recommend it. The portions were SMALL. I ordered a plate of rice and Lechon Kawali, with a side of lumpia and a side of BBQ. They give me six small pieces of lechon, an unacceptable portion. Everything but the rice was cold as well, very shocking since we came in at 11:45am. I would not recommend the cafe, go elsewhere if you want good authentic Filipino food with authentic Filipino portions. Giving it 2 stars because the store was good.
Excellent quality of authentic Filipino foods. Very giod veggie options pinakbet and laing
The fish is amazing in the restaurant behind the store.
If you want home cooked filipino food, this would be one of the few places that offer it in the DMV area.
The best chicken curry, dinuguan, and Bicol express!
Must try turons...but they hardly keep them.in stock. Wish they are crispier. Fried pork is another delicacy. Little on expensive side.
It was okay. The chicken/pork on a stick was tasty. The sinigang would have been good but she only gave me soup, barely any veggie or meat (the lady at the pay counter even asked did you just get soup?) I shouldve taken it back right then and there but was hoping the goodies were hiding somewhere in the middle...it wasnt. Still a good place to pick up a few filipino groceries.Fyi - Parking is pretty horrible in that shopping center but not much they can do about that.
Best pork sisig within a ~600 km radius.
Great lunch and dinner selection however a little too pricey.
Good place yo eat and shops good service
Food is pretty good. I keep coming back when Im craving filipino food. They charge 9 bucks for a large container of any entree. My issue is, they still charge you 9 bucks if its a soup, i.e., sinigang. So a word of advice, dont order the soup in a large container, it may be worthe it if you get adobo or lechon instead. Also, they are quite stingy with providing a fork and napkin. Most times Im having lunch in my car or at the park. Really aggravates me that I have to search for utensils when Im ready to eat! This has happened to me at least 3 times now. Now Im programmed to just ask for it before I leave because they will not automatically put it in the bag for you. Anyhow, Ill still go there for the food, its pretty good and will satisfy. Then again, theres no other filipino food nearby. Also. The grocery part of the store is adequate. Some of the baked goods are old and far from fresh. But other than that, its ok
Small selection of groceries, but good food in back!
Best place in the area for Filipino food n groceries
Authentic. Great food and market.
Organized, Great place to eat, clean, friendly, I recommend to all
Great cooked food!
Small place, i like that it is clean and organized.
Great store and employees.
Good selection of Pinot foods
Good food, nice people.
