I experienced a great customer service from the manager to the guy in the pickup service area of the value City furniture in Fairview heights illinois. The manager Steve helped my daughter she just moved to San Antonio Texas and she was in need of some furniture theres no value City in San Antonio Texas, so she wasnt able to purchase there. Manager Steve was able to place her order and since I was here still in Illinois I was able to pick it up for her. Manager Steve went above and beyond great customer service and helping her. On today I went to pick up part of the order that came in and the pickup person in the back last name was Edwards Mr Edwards was very professional very courteous and like the manager Steve gave great customer service. If you want to go to purchase furniture please visit value City furniture in Fairview heights the customer service is outstanding.

Went to 3 different furniture stores today and met with 3 different salesmen. Tom Benton was by far the best. He was very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I left Value City today feeling satisfied not only because of the furniture I will have soon, but also because of the experience I had with Tom and his team!

Rick was helpful, knowledgeable and non-pressuring. The store is clean, presentable and welcoming.Edit:2 payments and 4 days shy of 2 months later and were still without a couch. I do recall Rick checking the back, saying there was one available and it could be shipped within 2-3 weeks.I understand that the pandemic slows things down, but I didnt think it would take almost 2 months to ship a couch from Fairview to Columbia. This probably means that there wasnt one available.Originally when he approached us he had said I can tell you dont wanna be salesmand. I kind of feel like we got salesmand.

I have always been an Ashley Furniture shopper, that is until I first walked through the doors of Value City Furniture!!!! The first time I went in I was looking for a couch. I worked with Assistant Manager Steve and he have me an unbelievable deal!!!! I mean he actually cared about me as a person and not a sale!!! I was not attacked by a million people trying to sell me something either. It was a great experience!! Unfortunately I had to sell the couch because my furbaby needed surgery. So after his 6 week recovery I was back on the hunt. This time for a chair. Of course, I went straight to Value City. I was met by salesman Phil, who did not pressure me. He just told me his name and said he was there to help. I asked him if Steve was still there and he was!!!!!!! I found exactly what I wanted and once again got a fabulous deal. I came into Value City Furniture 30 minutes before they closed because I found a sofa I loved last week. Tom Benton helped me out so much and so fast. He wasn’t upset that we came in 30 minutes before closing and got me my couch in under 15 minutes! He was so nice and attentive! Steve, the store manager, helped us out so much as well! He helped us 10 years ago when he worked at Ashley Furniture and made us feel like home!! Thank you Value City Workers!!

Our salesperson Josh Flow was awesome! He helped us find a nice sofa for our living room. When we walked in the door he wasnt overly pushy or time consuming with any big long greeting and promo. He just greeted us and let us look around for our tastes. Told us different financing options and warranties and let us choose as we liked.

Phillip i, was such a pleasure to work with. Ive made everything so easy and fast. I was about done looking and he had me sold with in 5 mins and out the door haply in 20.

After waiting 5 months for our power sofa and love seat they arrived yesterday. Delivery crew brought in sofa set it up took a picture and left. Wife comes home to find no power cord. Called them Today at 10am. At 3pm their answer to my problem is to FedX the cord. I have to wait 5 days for the power cord. They tell me the delivery truck probably left it in the box. So reroute the truck to my house and drop off the cord.Not acceptable. First and last time doing business.

We picked up our chair from Value city furniture and warehouse manager Ronny Edwards assisted us with the delivery. Mr Edwards was so very respectful and personable we truly appreciate his kindness and patience

I ordered a dining room set and when they called to schedule a delivery time I cancelled and received a refund. A month later they had a new dining room set that I fell in love with, I called the Fairview Heights store and spoke to my favorite saleswoman and made my purchase. The transaction was smooth and everyone was great from the saleswoman to customer service and the delivery guys! I will continue to shop at Value City Fairview Heights, Me and my Family have nothing but pleasant experiences. I sent my sister last week to purchase a dining room set as well as family room furniture. I also will be purchasing a living room set this month.

My order had a slight mixup so I was stressed out because my previous experience with another furniture store had me traumatized. I called and talked it out with Brent the sales manager and it was the easiest time fixing the exchange and getting the right part for the bunk bed. Thanks for taking care of my problem so quickly and with kindness.

It’s been 4 months since my husband has ordered his king size bed. They said it would be here in may. It’s been delayed about 4 times. They have everything else but the bed & it’s very upsetting seeing as how i’m 6 months pregnant & still sleeping on a air mattress. Value City literally sucks. Customer service is nice but other than that I will never be taking my business here again ..

Order and paid in full for a sectional and ottoman over 3 months ago. When oreder we where told that it would only be a 3 weeks wait. Once again it had been postponed 3 times and has been over 3 months since it was been bought. No apologies no compensation. They simply do not care. Have a warranty with the sectional, ( if we ever get it ) but other than that, will never use this company again. Absolutely no regard to costumers. Horrible does not come close enough to describe this company.

(Purchase date May) The delivery date was supposed to be July 6. Now they are telling me October!!??!!!????! That has got to be the most unprofessional transaction I have ever done. No-one from this company told me that a 5 month delay was even a possibility. Disgusted does not come close to what I am feeling!! Horrible way to conduct a business!!

It was in the best live virtual shopping meet I have ever had. It didnt require me to travel or come into the store. We literally did a Facetime/Duo call and I went shopping. He showed me features talked, pricing, and literally closed the sale!!! Now that is TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE! WAY TO GO VCF TEAM! Giving the experience of in-person shopping from the comfort of your own home!!!😁 IT WAS BETTER THAN YHE INTERNET SHOPPING and shopping the internet is my new life!!!!

Absolutely great customer experience! We had an issue with a couch in warranty. Previous management had largely ignored our correspondence and put our issue on the back burner. Brent the manager, worked with us and bent over backwards to rectify the situation. When one solution we had agreed on fell though he continued to search for ways to make sure we had a great customer experience. I will forever be a customer of Value City. This experience proved to me that they really stand behind the quality of their products, and if it does not meet the standards they promise they will make it right. I’d also like to say thank you to the customer service reps we worked with. They were patient, friendly, and eager to help.

We went to Value City to look for a living room set for our new home. The first time we went in Leslie was working in the office and came out on the floor. She was so helpful and explained different financing options. Brent as managing and made us feel so welcome and answered all our questions. We didn’t make a decision that night and went back on Saturday night. Steve is the store manager and was working. He asked us what we were looking at and if we had thought of end tables and other pieces to complete our room. He got a sales associate Phil that helped us put the whole look together. Steve called another store to get one of our pieces so we would have a complete set delivered by December 5 instead of January. We will be set for the holidays and are so excited to have our completed room! Thank you Steve, Brent, Leslie, and Phil. Job well done and highly recommended to everyone we know!!
