Not to crowed, most patrons wearing masks, still the normal 1 or 2 who want to exercise their denial. Shelves are well stocked and sales staff willing to assist. May patrons walking out carrying bags. That is a good sign. Nice to get out.

Great clothes at the right price along with great helpful staff

It sort of feels like some sort of apocalypse is taking place while in here. It isnt well organized and customers arent helping by not putting items back where they belong. I would like to say its a labor shortage but it has been like this for the past three years. They still have quality products though. I prefer the Stafford shirts over any other brand at any other price point.

Went here to see if we could find a dress for my daughters homecoming they didnt have much available dress wise but the store was super clean

It was sad to see the nice displays with beautiful products and reasonable prices, but no one there to buy them. I am very pleased with the bath towels I purchased.

Staff was really friendly, store was clean and well stocked. Lines were not an issue. I went in for a quick return and stayed to shop!

Ms. Fran and her co worker was excellent in finding my other package. That some how end up 3 row over from where it supposed to be. Ms. Fran look frist she saw one and didnt see the other one so she ask her co worker would she please go in the back and see can she find it and she did. Awful customer service. I was next in line with nobody behind me. There were two cashiers. One cashier was with a customer who has a large order. Instead of the other cashier helping me, she went to break. The other cashier started counting change instead of helping me. By this time, there is about 10 people in line. Instead of the cashier helping me, he started trying to find someone else to help us. I spend alot of money at JCPENNEY. So sad.

Store was a mess. Clothes everywhere. Couldnt get anyone to help me.

Lots on sale, limited lots to look through...long lines with one lady working customer service. She was sweet helping everyone, with conversation and a smile until another team member came to help. Its COVID...

Clothing setup was disorganized. Had to search a lot of clothes that should have next to each other.

Good collection of items. Place could be cleaner. They didnt check anyone for masks. I saw people roaming around without one.

I have always enjoyed shopping JCP since the early 80s. Todays experience at the Fairview Heights store was without question the least appreciated shopping experience I have had. All was good until check out. The cashier at the entrance by Starbucks (Tryeski?)appeared to really not want to check customers out. The other cashier was helping a couple out and had to take them and show them a pricing concern. T, well call her, went to return merchandise to the shelves with customers in line. Wandered around and then returned to get another bag. When she finally started checking out again  I quietly told her it was astonishing and unappreciated that the customers had to wait an extended period of time while she ignored them.  This the first review I have ever written about JCP.I wish T understood that there are people out there that want jobs and not take her job for granted.

Picked up my dress shoes I ordered on jcpenny.com. I was helped right away

They do not stand behind what their employees tell their customers. I was told every item with a pink tag was buy one get one free. So I purchased you swimsuits in two other items in once I paid for it and went back to the customer service, I was told swimsuits were not part of it. And all of their employees knew that. They would not stand behind the fact that I was told by several employees that everything with a pink tag was buy one get one free. Ive been a customer of JCPenneys for 40 years and they just blew it. If I could give them zero Stars I would.

During the week when less people are shopping the fitting rooms are closed due to Covid, but on weekends when busy they are open. I think they got it backwards. Encourage people to shop when less busy.

I had not been in this store for over 2 years. I now see that I did not miss anything. It has continued to decline. Low stock. Not ONE fitting room open!! Their competitors have fitting rooms open so shop there. I wont be back.

Review based on mens clothing:Great staff, clean store, nice branded sections, lackluster big & tall section (messy, disorganized), massive dress section. Accessory area (wallets, belts, etc) is a disaster.You can tell that certain areas of the store are much bigger than what their inventory allows. They try to fill different areas with repetitive product, and do a decent job.I feel that the manager needs to walk around more than once per shift because it seems they neglect the smaller areas that arent tied to a specific brand.

After having an awful experience at another jewelry store in the mall, I decided to check JC Penney. Rosco, the associate who helped me, greeted me with amazing customer service. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for in the jewelry department. He was extremely kind, and helpful. His knowledge was OUTSTANDING. He helped me to find all the discounts I could get (which saved me money) I would recommend him to anyone!!

We visited the portrait studio. Our photographer, Yolanda, was very easy to work with, very creative and overall did a great job, despite my daughter acting out. I always find myself wishing there was one more person available to help at the computers though. Our total visit took over 3 hours.

Store was junky as always. Cashiers spend more time talking and laughing amongst each other instead of waiting on customers. If they focused more on customers more people might shop there. The store needs better quality clothing. Not sure who does the store buying, however they are out of touch with the trend and what each group of women want.

They gave me the longest route. I had to improvise myself to get hear earlier. I wanted the I270 route instead. It didnt offer that route.

I purchased a pair of glasses from the eye center at JCPenny. The young man who waited on me remembered me from my wife visit 4 months ago. I purchased the same eye-wear as my wife and the total order took around 15 minutes. I was impressed with the professional level of help from him and I do recommend the service. I had insurance and was able to purchase my pair of glasses for around $200,00. I am still enjoying my glasses and still getting complainants on the frames six months later.

JCP was great, they have great clothing and shoes. The people that work there are always happy to help fit you to your right sizing, and as a plus, they also sell gift cards for EVERYTHING!!

Store is still a little messy, but better than last time. Found more help this time also. Glad to see the on line pickup moved to the back door again. Makes more sense there for quick pickups.

JC Penney has nice variety and the quality of the items you buy there are much better than in any other stores. Another great thing is, you dont pay a fortune. I encourage all the other stores to take notes from JC Penney because thats how its done.
