Went to make a purchase at 12:38 pm. This lady said she just clocked out for her break and refused to check me out. She said I would have to wait 25 minutes for the next person to get there. Why she couldn’t have taken her break when the next person got there beats me and she was extremely rude.

To be honest they need a couple more workers, I gave this 3stars because the young man that works there, hes a cashier, came from behind the register for 1sec to help me with finding hair products . Thank you . Other than that its too much clutter, boxes everywhere, soda plastic containers sitting in front where you get your sodas, I couldnt get my brand because they were in the way. Other than that PLEASE HIRE MORE HELP.

It was finally cleaned up and stocked very well. I will definitely be going back.

Everything I needed was there, this one is well organized compared to the one one west main and Frank Scott Parkway.

Line was extra long at check out and it was one worker. He was running back and forth, I think this was sad especially during the holiday season. You would think cause of covid-19 they would have more than one worker to get these people out the store

Worst customer service I have ever in my life had. It was very clear that I was taking up Erics precious time at this store.. I was very uncomfortable with his dead silence while waiting for him to ring up my items. Other people coming in he greeted,sort of......not a word to me except for how much my order came to. I retired from retail and know that its a tough business especially in this day and age of the pandemic you dont treat your paying customers like they dont belong.I will never shop this store ever again and will make sure all my friends and family know of the poor customer service at this location in Fairview Heights Illinois.

The supervisor who worked tonight 8/22/20 @830 PM was completely disrespectful not only to his customers but to his employee too. When dealing with the public, you dont yell at a employee across a isle . He could have easily came up to the customer and explained his concerns. Very unprofessional!

Dollar General is always a pleasure.

I give this place 4 stars because this is my usual place to go when I need a dollar store. I usually by a little of everything here. I think the employees are nice and the area feels pretty safe. Im not sure what their hours are, but it always seems like they are open, each and every time I drive here. Recommended.

I am letting you know I felt I was discriminated against. I am blind.I went into your store on Lincoln trail in Fairview Heights on Thursday Dec 13. I stood there waiting for help. There were people at the cash register so I waited letting the person at the register to finish. When I heard no others were waiting to be checked out. I heard the person walk away without even asking me If I needed assistance. I waited about 5 more minutes without any assistance. As I was leaving a person came into the store and ask me why I was waiting. I told her I was waiting for someone to help me. She said she saw no one at the register. I then left. I feel that because I am blind no one was willing to help me. I was informed by some friends to let you know what happened.I wanted to let you know because I have money. Not government assistance. I do work at a job and draw a paycheck for my work. My friends and myself have had experiences like this at other stores and do report this. This then gives those stores a bad reputation for not wanting to help the disabled.You employees represent your store and the way it is run. Not many school supplies available. Should be fully stocked this time of year. Backpacks in particularly.

I purchased some $12.50 curtains and when I hung them up, I noticed small holes in them. I took them back to the store to exchange and I was told all of them have holes because they have to put ink tags on them. I told him, well then I want a refund because all of them are defective since you have to put ink tags in them. Some of these stores have gone too far with ink tags. They may lose money trying to prevent theft. So sad!

Bad ..bad..bad had to call district manager and coprate someone put detector in box of pampers I bout I atiod at the door waiting for someone know one came when I get to my car this guy says Im going to jail for shoplifting and he was going to call cops so I went back in and told him to do so because I had waited for someone to come along long story short I was not given an apology will not go back there I work for my money I dont steal anything...

Couldnt even shop! So much JUNK EVERYWHERE!!! I have video to prove!! Im in shock how terrible it was!!!
