Chris at Top Spec is the best mechanic anyone could ask for! He knows his craft extremely well, is very fair with his pricing, and a genuine guy who truly cares about his customers. My family discovered him 2 years ago and we have since had him work on 4 of our vehicles, both foreign & domestic. We trust Chris wholeheartedly as both a professional and a person and highly recommend him!

A genuine, and friendly auto shop! Chris was very personable, and checked out my brakes. The whole time I was chatting with him, and curiously observing. The brake pads still had about 50% life left, so he suggested waiting on replacing them. Hes a very honest, and transparent mechanic which I appreciate. The folks over there even shared some of their BBQ, since they were grilling! I will absolutely return here in the future!

This place seems to specialize in modified cars and with very kind and honest workers! They offer affordable and professional service.I went in for an oil change because I try to avoid those quick oil change places (who may damage your oil drain plugs), and the dealer (who typically overcharges). This is the best honest mechanic I have ever tried. I have been coming for here for 6 years. Other mechanic shop quoted me $3400 on a repair and they fixed it with $80. I offered them tips and they even kindly refused. They are the most reputable mechanic shop in town for reasons.

Very trustworthy. You feel like youre talking to a peer. The price is fair and transparent. And you never feel like theyre selling you something you dont need. Plus, they checked my roommates car for free, saying his issue wasnt a big enough deal to fix.

I went to Top Spec when my cars headlight wouldnt turn on, its acceleration was jerky, and my hatchback failed, all at once. They had my car for about a day and fixed it all for less than I was expecting and in about a third of the time. The service was prompt, the work was great and I intend to go here whenever I have any auto troubles in the future!

I had a front strut fail on my 2010 Acura ZDX it failed again 11 mo later & it was under warranty so Chris replaced it for free. The alternater went bad during Christmas weekend so I call today & chris said Bring it in today & I will have a new one here. I come over from Whidbey because the customer service is Superior & how fast he is getting it repaired . Another plus is they have a loaner car. I will continue to do business here for many more years.

If you have a Subaru, these are the guys you need to take your car to. They work on other cars but Subaru is their specialty. My normal mechanic, that I have been going to for 19 years even recommended them. $29.99 oil change for synthetic blend? You cant go wrong. Appointments recommend.

Amazing job; small shop but we had an appointment and the job was done same day. They found a loose spark plug and did an oil change and investigated a weird noise for our truck. Will be coming here for everything for now on.

They did an excellent job with the rebuild of my engine on my 2012 WRX. Very knowledgeable, were able to explain what went wrong and how to prevent it from happening again and made some good recommendations. Cost wise, they were still less expensive than taking it to a Subaru dealership, but still a good chunk of change. So guys think twice when adding parts to your car or using OTS tunes, I learned my lesson get pro-tuned. So that this doesnt happen to you, but when you do blow your engine Top Spec are the guys for the job. Thanks Chris, TC, and Raymond you guys are wonderful!!👍👍

I’ve never left a review for any business before, but I thought people should know that these guys ILLEGALLY dumped my vehicle in a Value Village parking lot .5 miles from their business to “resolve” an issue we had... I only found out this happened after receiving an impound notice from the Department of Licensing... Tried speaking with Chris and someone else at the shop today, and was hung up on both times... Shady stuff.. I’m sure they don’t expect me to pursue this issue with legal action though...

I go here regularly for my oil changes. Chris is great with customers and goes out of his way to make sure everything is done right. He’s also installed an aftermarket intake, exhaust, and bypass valve for me as well as performed leak tests when needed. Great prices as well.

Absolutely 100% the best interaction with any type of auto service. I had a very specific and hard to find part for my MR2 AW11 and they helped me in a way that kept me involved and informed. They were super nice and accommodating, and had amazing patience with my old and modified car. Once something else goes wrong with one of my cars I for sure know where I am headed.

These guys are so easy-going and wonderful! They were completely honest with me, without pressuring me or taking advantage of my lack of car expertise, and gave me important information about an issue with my car (a dent in the front from a long time ago that had damaged components of the interior as well) that no other mechanic had bothered to share with me before. On top of it, they were incredibly fair in their pricing, and stuck to their estimate even though the work on my car took longer than expected due to problems associated with the dent. They also work FAST! The first repair I needed (small ignition problem) took barely half an hour and the second, larger repair (radiator replacement), only a morning. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for car help in the future!

From the service to their honesty this is the best place ever.From the first time I visited the they have greeted me with a friendly face and have been honest with me. Issues are brought up with various options (Im not talking about issues that were not there before I brought my car in for servicing).No BS just fix what you need fixed unless it is another issue. If youve been putting of something for a while, put it to rest and go here. Free diagnostic, fair pricing, and Chris THE mechanic knows his stuff. I took my car in to get a couple leaks taken care of and they let know couple other issues with the car and gave me a quote on those too. With the repairs on my car Chris ran in to a couple unforeseen issues which made a take some extra time and didnt charge me extra. Very fair amount of time regardless. If there are any bad reviews, Im sure communication wouldve helped the situation and Im sure they would do all they can to make it right. I trust this shop.

We purchased a van in Feb 2015. This was by far the BEST experience after searching for weeks and visiting many dealers. The owner was friendly and helpful, gave us privacy to discuss and then ended up giving us a fantastic deal. They offer FREE oil changes on the vehicle that you purchase for an entire year! We ended up having a couple issues, BUT the owner was right there to help! I had to give the purchase a little bit of time before writing a review to be sure that it all worked out. I would highly recommend checking out Top Spec for your next vehicle :)

They were able to get us in within a few days of calling, and diagnose the problems quickly. Really easy to work with, and very affordable... i cant think of another auto shop that could have done all they did for the price. Really nice to my wife too, itemized everything for us to review.

The other shop quoted me $2000 for my car overheating. I came to top spec paid the 1 hour diagnostic, then they found all it need is bleeding the coolant system and only cost me $80. They are very knowledgeable and honest. They could have rip me off like the other mechanic shop, but they didnt do that. I cant appreciate top spec anymore. I saved $1900 for my Christmas and my car run like a champ now. I highly recommended them. They are honest and knowledgeable for real! Dont waste your time and money on any other mechanic shop.

Auto mechanics (along with used car salesman) traditionally have sleazy / hustling demeanor, but not here. The mechanic and other staff member are very friendly and cordial, not just in a way to make themselves appear professional to earn your business, but really personable and approachable.Ive got my pre-purchase inspection, two oil changes, and a few other miscellaneous things taken care of here, and every time was a great experience.They dont try to oversell you on stuff. With one of my car problems, the mechanic said that I should change the gas cap and see if the problem persists. The gas cap was $30, they didnt charge labor, and the problem went away.Theyre just great to work with, and because they have appointment system, you dont have to wonder when your cars going to be done. Great place.

Professional and honest is all I can say. Had a sinking brake pedal, other shop quote me $500+ for a master cylinder, but after their diagnostic it turned out to be air in the system, a quick bleed solved the issue.

Took my car in for a suspected battery drain. Walked away without the battery drain being fixed and all power to my driver seat gone with the driver seat left at the farthest point from my wheel. I have to drive with 2 pillows behind my back to get to my pedals and Im 511. They still took my money close to 200 dollars!
