I took my sons iPhone in to get a screen repair. They had no appointments open the same day. I left the phone with them, and they were able to get it fixed the same day! It looks brand new! Very happy with the quality of work, and their staff was very friendly and helpful!

I had purchased an extended warranty through simply Mac when I first purchased my MacBook Air, 2 years ago. When arriving to simply Mac to get my computer serviced I was concerned of the price (thinking my warranty had expired), but Shelby was very friendly from the time I walked through the door. He made sure my warranty would cover the cost of my repair and if it didnt what were some other options I had. I was originally told a turn around time of 7-10 days and received a call 2 days after dropping off my device that it was ready for pick up. When I picked up my device Shelby and another employee were both there greeting customers as they walked through the door, making them feel like a valued customer. Shelby brought me my device and went into detail about what was fixed while it was there. My laptop was brought back to me in the same condition it was left in (cosmetic wise) along with the repairs that were done! I would strongly encourage for any of your apple needs to visit Simply Mac in evansville and ask for Shelby!

Simply Mac is Simply AMAZING! My iphone back broke and I used my apple care to get another one. I didnt back up my phone and they warned me that I needed to do that. They did it for me with my phone there. The first day it failed because I didnt have enough space. They called and let me know I needed to buy more icloud storage. I did and they waited the 2 days it took to backup my phone. Amazing service

If I could rate this zero stars then that is what I would give them! I brought in an iPhone 8 with the screen out in an attempt to get it checked out and possibly have the screen replaced. The guy I spoke to advised me that he was one of the senior techs there and then proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they could do for me, without even laying hands on the device. He went on to tell me that buying a new phone would probably be the best option. At this point I knew I was going to receive no help from them and left the store. I drove directly to CPR Cell Phone Repair and they ran a diagnostic check on the iPhone, discovered it was a faulty screen and had it changed for me within a couple hours. This will be the last time I ever go to Simply Mac!

Came to change the battery of my MBP and they ruined it, and they send me back to apple because they did not want to take responsibility... do not not wast your time here. Do not trust their warrantee. It is just for marketing purposes and they actually do not help you afterwards.

Was told a notification on my laptop wasn’t urgent and my (less than 5 year-old) MacBook Pro stopped working a few months after. Then told at another repair shop that it was likely salvageable if originally steered in the right direction. Lost a lot of meaningful documents. Supported and even used apple care through Simply Mac for years, but I WILL NOT be giving this company any more of my money in the future. Neither should you :-)

If I could give no stars, I would. Complete rip off!!! I paid for a “diagnostic fee” and a part that never fixed my laptop. Told me it was my hard drive that needed to be replaced after saying it was the hard drive cable initially and they’d do it for a low end of $600. Went to another shop, and they replaced the hard drive for $60. My laptop works great. Called simply Mac for a refund since they didn’t fix the problem and they told me the “fee “ was non refundable. They didn’t fix what was broken, made me pay for a part that didn’t fix my laptop, wiped my hard drive the morning I came to pick up my laptop and tried offering a credit to buy a used laptop from them. Complete scam and rip off. Don’t take your products here.

Highly recommend Simply Mac! I had issues with an IPhone and an aging laptop. Corbin did a fantastic job explaining my options using computer terms I could understand and being so patient with all my questions. We purchased a laptop and he transferred photos (my main concern) among other things to the new one making it so easy for us. I now know where to go with technology issues...so glad I found this place!

Excellent and timely service. My Taptic Engine on my iPhone 8 Plus was loose. They fixed it in about 10 minutes and put on a new screen protector for me. I would recommend anyone with apple products that may need evaluation and/or fixed see them.

I brought my phone in because of camera problem. Diagnosis was rapid, the tech was congenial, and the part was in stock. The repair was completed earlier than expected. So far, so good. As soon as I received the good news, via email, which I had initially missed by about an hour, I arrived to learn that the repair had failed, after all, and the phone would have be sent off for a few days. My presence was required to begin that process. By then, it was late enough in the day that the ship date could only have been the next day. (As far as I know.) I dont know how long after the initial email that the repair results changed from positive to negative, but a phone call at that point might have saved a day and flipped my opinion back to a five star review.

We went to Computers Plus first and they did not fix the problem. My 2 week old Macbook pro wasnt charging properly. Computers Plus said it was the charger. Well, they made us buy a new charger, and guess what, same problem. Drove to Simply Mac, and they ran a diagnostic on it. Everything checked out okay, but I showed them a video of what my computer was doing. They shipped it off to Apple for me and kept me updated along the way. Apple replaced my logic board and shipped it back. Simply Mac was extremely helpful the whole way. They took care of me and my computer. Service was fast, and the customer service was phenomenal. Will definitely be using Simply Mac for all of our computer needs.

Had a great first experience at the Evansville store with Logan. My iPhone 6 would not update for weeks after trying all options online, and he was able to help force it through with no problems. Other customers came and went while I waited and they were very nice to everyone. One had explained how they are not an Apple Store (but when you call Apple they send you here as a first option), but can help on most things which is good to know moving forward!

Last Saturday my wife and I went shopping for a MacBook Pro at SimplyMac We stepped in the store expecting a greeting and help. There was one person behind a counter sitting and staring at 2 couples for about 10 minutes. Another employees left the building and never said a word to us. No conversations were being made any of the 5 people at the counter. They all sat in a stupor. So we left and went to Best Buy and in 5 minutes had a great deal and financing. I told them about the simply Mac experience and we were told even their manager quit. T Simply Mac has lost me forever as a customer. I couldn’t wait to post this. Shameful. What was going on with the 4 silent customers in a trance and the non responsive clerk?

I took my iPhone in for a cracked screen repair which I was told would be done in store within an hour, the person who put my information in didn’t know what he was doing(should have ran away then) after an hour they called me and told me they could not fix the phone d/t a manufacturer defect on a connection and would have to send to apple for the repair and would have back in 5-7 days. I agreed to send to apple, a week and a half later no phone so I call “we’ll apple still has phone we will call you once they send back” over 2 weeks “something went wrong with order and apple closed it so we are trying to get order reopened we will let you know when we know something” (I believe the fella who enter my information at first put order in wrong). This went on for over a month!!! I even had to call apple myself! So I paid for service to a phone for over a month that I didn’t even have in my possession! After all this they still charged me full price on service no compensation, discount NOTHING! Needless to say they may say apple certified but that does not mean BETTER, I will NEVER go back there for anything and I would recommend a hack on the street over this business!

I took my iPhone in for a routine battery replacement. My phone had zero problems before, but immediately after I got home from the battery appointment my camera and flashlight no longer worked, as well as my receiver. I can now only talk on speakerphone. They ran all of these diagnostics checking for other problems before they replaced the battery but didnt bother to check for anything after. I took it in the next day and they opened it back up but said they couldnt fix it and now Ive had to jump through a million hoops to go through Apple and get this fixed at no charge to myself. If I were you, try Best Buy instead, because these people apparently have no idea what theyre doing.

Very disappointed in the sales and service my sister received at this store. She came in with some knowledge about the product and service she wanted and explained in detail to the customer service at the store. Very simple task in transferring information from one laptop to another was to be done as well. I wont go into detail the extent on here but after 3 visits to the store after purchasing a computer, I found she really didnt need, they told her they couldnt transfer the information over. Shame on them for taking advantage of a lady who lost her husband and wanted to recover photos and music he made . To make matters look even worse on the store and their service, I call my friend and was able to complete the task (after purchasing more equipment that the store didnt have her purchase to be compatible with the computer they shouldnt have sold her) in less than 2 hours of her personal time. My sister now has the memories of her husband and family who passed unexpectedly. I do not recommend this store to anyone!

The fees are outrageous. Hipster Mac specialists are uneducated on how computers actually work. A friend took her Mac there because she was having trouble installing the new OS X Yosemite. Simply Mac told her it would be $145 to LOOK at her Mac and install the new OS X(which is FREE). The douche bag at the counter said it was definitely a software problem, not a hard drive problem so why would the CUSTOMER have to pay $145 for incorrectly coded software? So we took the Mac home to my father who is a computer software engineer, he looked at it, told us it was because she didnt have enough memory on her Mac, installed bigger memory cards (for free) on her Mac, and it fixed the problem. Obviously the idiot hipster at the Mac store didnt know what he was talking about. Not to mention he was rude and talked down to us like we were mentally challenged. I dont trust these kind of people with my Mac. If an Apple Specialist cannot find a simple problem like not having enough memory, then I dont trust them with anything. And I will never pay $145 for someone to LOOK at my computer, especially if its a simple problem that can be fixed for FREE. Absolutely ridiculous.

So I go here to replace my daughters screen for her iPhone X. They ran their diagnostics and told me they would send the phone in and get it replaced for me. I asked if they could repair my phone that has a cracked screen and the guy, I can’t remember his name said that when I pick up my daughters phone that they would replace my screen. Perfect. Three days go by, they call and my daughters phone is ready. We go in, they give me my paperwork and phone, let me pay. I asked about my screen and they looked and me a smirked like I was stupid and said you have to have an appointment to get it repaired. I explained what their tech said and they weren’t sure why he told me that. They tell me I have to make an appointment. I did. We get home, my daughter tries to use her phone and it does not call or send receive texts. Hmm, it says the SIM card is missing. I call the store and spoke to Corbin, I asked why they wouldn’t check that before I left. He said he wasn’t sure but he will talk to his techs. Great still don’t fix my daughters phone. He informs me to go to a sprint store and they should have a SIM card for free.I work in the retail world, they never apologized, they talked to me like I’m stupid, lost my SIM card and I had to go and get it fixed. I will never go to that store again, I will drive to Louisville from now on. If I could give a zero star, I would.

I had an issue with my Mac. It got infected because of a fake flash player that I installed (opps). I spoke with Apple tech support online and was told it would cost $150 to fix. I came into this store and the gentleman helping me provide efficient service and clearly my computer of and infected programs and even deleted some of the apps that were not necessary or used. I asked him if I owed him anything and he said no. Got everything fixed in less than 10 minutes and for FREE!!! Will be back to this store if I ever need assistance in the future.

The screen on my Macbook Pro met an unfortunate demise - SimplyMac quoted me a certain amount to fix the screen, along with a 7-10 day repair window.Not only was my computer repaired in 3 days, but my repair cost was quite a bit lower than I was initially quoted. Cant recommend these guys enough!

Everyone was nice at the door.I had on & off problem with my iPhone recharging inlet. The guy simply says to me that I need to replace my phone & cost of $269. I asked him it could be some dust in the inlet or loose hardware, he says we dont do repair stuff. I thanked for his time & out from there. I went to another phone repairing store and got fixed in no time & FREE . So I saved $269. So, please dont agree on whatever store person says. I went in there to figure out what was wrong with the screen on my MacBook pro, and the guy seemed reluctant to help me. The provided a possible issue, but werent able to tell me for sure what was wrong. I asked the guy to run test and he seemed very hesitant to. All in all I would not come here for repairs them only thing they seem to want to do is sell you the product. I highly recommend going to the apple store in Louisville. They fixed my Mac quick and under warranty at the Oxmoor location! It is worth the drive.

Went in with easy repair on my daughters iPad and was informed there was absolutely no way anyone could fix it but could buy a new one. 1.1 miles down the road later at computer plus and in less than 5 min it was fully repaired for only a small service fee. The agent at the simply Mac store was condesending when I was there and now I know he was either ignorant or lying to me as well. The impression I had when I was in the store was he did not have mine or the customers best intetst and was only trying to make the sell. I had trouble with my MacBook pro and took it here. It took a couple weeks to run diagnostics and repair(they were very busy at the time).I suggest asking for a time table before sending your device in, but aside from that they got the job done and service was good. Make sure you constantly check on the status of your device also by calling them.

Needed to have my iphone repaired. Apple support sent me here since it was the closest store to me. Called ahead to see if an appointment needed to be made since I live an hour away. Was told no appointment was needed that they only take walk ins. Went to take my phone in and get a loaner since it was under warranty and had to be sent in to apple for repair and was told that they didnt have time to process it right then and it would be at least 5-6 hours until they could! Only one other customer in the store and that customer was with a different salesperson. After I had driven an hour I couldnt wait around 5-6 more hours. I said I had to be back in town the next morning and would just come back by. They then told me that no one would be there tomorrow to help me. Their excuse was that they were short handed, which I understand happens. However, the technichian standing in front of me was the one who needed to process my phone, and she literally said she didnt have time to do it. Sounds to me like you actually do need an appointment unless you have all the time to wait until they are ready to provide you service. I opted to just mail it in to apple myself, just so I didnt have to mess with Simply Mac again!

Four days before I was leaving for vacation I had to take my iPhone in because the camera had stopped working, Simply Mac had me check my phone in, ordered a new camera for my phone (in warranty) and installed it. Now my iPhone works great again and Ill be able to capture memories on my vacation.

Good Service on an 8 year old MacBook Pro. I had them install a SSD since my machine had slowed down to near uselessness and needed a new battery. Work was done, and notifications started rolling in (txt and emails)in just under the 24hr mark. No sales-arguing, pressuring, or the classic I shall now enlighten you, simpleton.Only reason I cant give a 5 star review is because once I had machine home and needed to log in again the password had been reset to a generic service passcode. Thats not a problem in itself, but that fact was missing from verbal interaction and appeared nowhere on the invoice so I didnt know for moment. I had to call back and HOPE they had a generic passcode they used when the customers is wiped out. They did, but password terror is not fun with any product, even more so with Apple.

Sons phone was locked out. Went to store to have them unlock device and reset so that the phone could be put back in service. Was told it could be done for $20. Waited 20 minutes. They took the phone and asked what the issue was. I explained myself again and told them we were directed to come here for an easy fix. The salesperson proceeds to tell me that they are unable to help and that I needed to call apple direct and they were not able to help. I had already listened to this sales women have no idea how to handle two older couples issues who were at the counter before me. She was not knowledgeable at all about products, service, pricing or anything for that matter. I asked another salesperson if he was able to help and that we had already called apple, been to the Sprint store where we got the phone and been online several times to no avail. He stated to just call apple direct as well. Not even offering to have us call in store. We left and called apple again only to find that we must return to this store and make some type of secret request with proof of purchase and I guess some spy code or something to have them wipe the phone and start over. I already had proof of ownership and my sprint contract in hand the first time. This is a joke. We are just going return all of our apple devices and go with Samsung and take our chancesof catching fire rather than dwal with thus crap. Service is a complete joke and looks like I should have read reviews prior to wasting my time in the first place. Ultimately my fault for not using my resources. Dont make the same mistake I did. This store is more concerned with selling extended warranties than resolving Apple device issues. The certified Apple technician did not tell me that the defective keyboard issue was an Apple recall item and fully covered regardless of warranty timeframes. The store stated the issue wasnt covered under my basic warranty and quoted $800 to replace the full keyboard to resolve my space bar and battery issues, when in fact Apple is replacing the keyboards at no cost due to the recall. This is an Apple refurbished Macbook Pro purchused Jan 2018! I only learned of the recall through researching the issue online after the stores cost prohibitive quote and discovering the mulitiple lawsuits and pending class action lawsuit and ultimate recall allowing full repair/replacement. Dont let this place rip you off! Deal directly with Apple.

My daughter happened in with her boyfriend and saw the new Macs. They offered a trade in of her current Mac. They took it to estimate, for 2 days, ( they mentioned to look at it overnite, never mentioned 48 hrs). At the end of 2 days, she called, and they said they were almost ready and she would get a call... We waited 90 minutes and went in. It wasnt ready to be value estimated, due to customers. Just apologized for the confusion and let us leave. I dont understand a company that doesnt have stellar customer service that wouldnt want to make every customer happy... and they lost a sale, and a recurring customerI wont step back in .

I had gone to simply Mac in Evansville last year right after the 4th of July after my phone got damaged from being caught in the rain while watching fireworks downtown. That time the people were kind and helped me in a very timely manner, this time was the absolute complete opposite. I went into the store yesterday after my iPhone six shut off, would not turn on, and became incredibly hot. When I took the phone in at 4 they said it appeared to be a swollen battery but because my phone was slightly bent Apple wouldnt take care of it for free under my apple care so I would have to pay the $80, to which I was fine with. The gentleman told me it would be done by 9 that night. When I got done with work I tried to kill some time so I didnt drive all the way home and then all the way back to the east side since it was now 7:45p.m. and they had not called my fiancé to let me know my phone was done. We decided to head on over there at 8:30p.m. since we hadnt heard anything. I walk in to three of the simply mac employs sitting in a circle talking and watching videos on the computers. The guy I spoke to earlier went into the back and proceeded to call another employee back there with him. They both came out and informed me that the tech did not get my phone done and that it would not be done now until Sunday and that they spoke with the manager Kyle and he said he would discount my price, when I asked how much they said it will be worth your while. This morning the tech calls my fiancé at 730, said my phone was ready and I could come get it when they opened at 10. I go around noon and the guy I spoke to yesterday and the manager were both there. When I said the tech called they both looked at each other completely surprised and said oh I dont think its done they go back and check and sure enough its done. I ask if I can go ahead and set my phone up and make sure everything is working properly and he proceeded to tell me I will have to wait until I get home and use my wifi. He rings me up and says my total is $85 and change, and I ask if that is with my discount. The guys asks Kyle and he says well we got your phone done earlier than Sunday so no we wont be doing that. I then let me him know that it made me very upset that the night before I went around killing time to be there when they had originally told me my phone would be ready while all his employees were sitting around doing nothing, it is not acceptable to not inform me that my phone was not ready when they originally told me it would be. He then tried to change something on the the price and said it wouldnt let him but if I wanted to purchase something he could discount that... Absolutely not!!! I manage my own business and I understand that things come up but it is not acceptable to not inform your PAYING customers that you are not able to fulfill your end of things, not only was it done to me once it was done twice!!!!! I would much rather travel to an Apple Store than to ever deal with these people and their horrible customer service again!

They told me to buy this screen cover and it is has a lifetime warranty and I was told if something should happen to it to just bring it back in and they would replace it free so, when I went in to get it replaced they were going to charge me 17.00 dollars to replace the screen cover, that is bull!

Go to a Apple Store. I bought a new Mac Mini. The Mini never worked correctly also the Bluetooth would disconnect the mouse and keyboard. These problems started as soon as I brought it home. I took it back and was reassured that they would get right on it and I would be satisfied. I was not satisfied at all because it took 8 weeks to get it back. During that time I left 17 messages for the service Dept with not one call back. I went it to discuss the matter and finally got it back 3 days later. So I come home and plug it in to see everything work correctly and the same thing. So I go back and talk to the store manager about this and he said I will take care of this and how sorry he is that I went through this. I left the Mini there with him. The next day he called and gave me an update, I finally felt releif. Then he call 4 days after that with an up date. Now its been 3 weeks and I havent heard a word. No returned calls to my messages. This has been a total of 5 weeks since I dropped it off the 2nd time.

I had a problem with my new Macbook and the lazy and unfriendly attitude of the person who, didnt even ask if I needed help, just stood there and looked at me, finally came back and told me that he asked his manager and his manager was in the back trying to talk to another manager about fixing my problem and would call me but never did.Unfortunately, I still have the issue with my Mac and Apple, INC in California is telling me to take it back there because its still under warranty... so, we will see.
