Its a really cool place, it has 2 floors and its designed really well. The only downsides is that everything not on sale is really expensive and theres not enough books in foreign languages.

Hope the day never exists that we are without bookstores. Nothing like entering a book store and the experience of the search and smell - but my teenage daughters face, as she so intently goes to “her aisle” and patiently scans for that one that is just her vibe, is one of my favorite things in life. All the kids that can find a love to books, will be better off, when the times come that TVs and phones are toxic and persistent with chaos, a book takes them elsewhere temporarily but it clears their headspace... And that’s so important these days .

I Love this Barnes and Noble. I went to check out and the nice check out lady told me that I would enjoy my books and gave me hints as to why. She really knows her stuff! So kind as well!

Love this book store. Ive spent hours in here before just browsing through the huge selection. Something for everyone, so many book categories, a huge variety of magazines, upstairs there is something for every are child. Upstairs youll find childrens books, toys fun and educational. Theres a stage for readings or impromptu puppet shows. I highly recommend this book store just make sure you have plenty of time to look around, its a big place. They also have a coffee cafe area as well. Ive not ventured into that area but it looks nice. I can only speak for myself but the employees here are very helpful and friendly.

Still nice to find a good ol book store and just chill and watch younger generation explore a museum but with a modern twist of a 20 dollar. Coffee and muffin. Makes the. Kids there status raises to bad ma and pa your. Wallets know it. But still very cool place to hang out a couple hours

Stopped in to check out books and decided to check out the Starbucks. Scott, the cashier, was super helpful when ordering. I forgot the name of one of the drinks I wanted, and he seemed to read my mind! He offered substitutions and described the differences, which was super considerate! Thank you Scott!! The two baristas behind him made us excellent drinks and were very sweet ☺️

I love books but Barnes & Noble is just not my favorite place to buy them. Almost everything they sell is priced very high so they can entice you to join their membership. I understand they need to make money to stay in business and I am willing to pay full price for books but other things they sell like board games are priced through the roof.Also, the last time I was in there was to pick up an online order. The customer service desk had a sign saying that the desk was closed and to pick up at the cashier. I stood in line and the cashier told me that I had to go to the desk despite the fact that the sign said it was closed. I stood there for 5+ minutes waiting on someone to finally come back there and get my order for me.Next time Ill just order from somewhere else. Its a bummer we dont have a large independent bookstore in town.

Ordered a book by phone ahead of time. The Evansville IN store pulled it and had it waiting at the cash register with my information! I arrived at front cashier and purchased the book! Thank for the fast service. It was a pleasure:)

Great selection of books at reasonable prices. Both an upstairs and downstairs including fiction and non fiction, new releases and clearance. Book signings and book club meetings held at the store. Cafe inside the store where you can pick up refreshments. Staff are very friendly.

Had trouble finding a book and the customer service person was so wonderful and helpful. Took us right to where we needed to be. Store is always so nice and organized.

Friendly employees and a great selection of books and music. FYI they do not have stairs. So if you are scared of elevators or escalators be prepared to skip the second floor which has the fiction, teen, and childrens sections.

Barnes & Noble is a great relaxing quiet place with a huge selection of books to choose from. The customer service is excellent . The atmosphere is wonderfu. The employees in the cafe are very nice and very quick at their job . there is very little wait time. I highly recommend you check out Barnes & Noble you wont be disappointed.

Amazing book, magazine, and other literary selections!

Staff is thin and stressed. Sitting Is pretty much gone. Other than that it is the only real bookstore in town. A tentative thumbs up.

Great location, the layout is easy to find subjects, authors or specific titles you may be looking for. Kaitlyn in the children’s dept was amazing! I wish all sales associates were as passionate and knowledgeable about the products they were selling. Our 2nd grader struggles to find books he enjoys which hinder his reading development. Kaitlyn was beyond helpful in knowing what exactly would spark his interest in reading.

I found the calendar I have been waiting for. I also found a book my oldest kid has wanted. If you love reading stop using electronic devices for reading and pick up a book at any local book store. If you also luv the smell of the pages of books you know what I mean. Book stores hold magic in them.

As a family we love this place. The kids always find great books to read. Staff is nice and helpful. We go mostly to support the Schools and end up with a great experience. Better than the Library. If they dont have it they can get it in short time period.

A delightful, enlightening experience. Lots of books, as may be expected in a book store. Lots of gifts, puzzles and methods available to entertain oneself. Coffee with treats are available. I was so whelmed with the first floor, I didnt even make to the second and third floor. I think there are movies there according to the neon sign. Thank you.

Best book store around.

One of our favorite places to go on a Sunday afternoon is Barnes and Noble! Our family has been going there for years. Sometimes we take the kids upstairs to play with the train set and to pick out a book that they choose. I love taking a book or a magazine into the Starbucks cafe to read while having a cup of coffee. Their gift section downstairs is filled with interesting unique gifts. I highly recommend Barnes and Noble.

1. I went to the costumer service desk to order a cook book. The worker at the desk was very rude and short with me. Almost like he thought he was better and smarter then I was. Not 5 minutes before this interaction I was in the fiction section and the same employee out of the blue told me in a very loud tone, almost like he wanted people to hear his voice The Teen fiction section is on the other side. Im a 31 year old with a masters in engineering! why on earth would I want to know where the teen Fiction section is!2. I get an email saying the book had arrived for purchase in store. So I go to the register to pick up and pay for the book. I was shocked that the price had doubled to $44, the website has it listed at $22 and amazon has it listed at $25. The gall that this store has to double the price on a book is flabbergasting. I understand and would be fine with and extra $5 for shipping but you charge double!! The CEO of Barnes and Noble is a moron and soon will be out of a job for gross incompetence and the store will be the next Sears.

Its surprising how well Barnes and Noble has held up. With online shopping services making many retailers obsolete B and N has held its own. The relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and coffee house services make this a very inviting place to read before you buy. Thats an advantage Amazon doesnt have. Amazon is convenient with competitive pricing but sometimes its nice to get out the house and shop.
