I have bought from Kings closer to my home but havent this store although I was pleased with their large selections of appliances.
I was looking for a couch and recliner for my livingroom. They just so happened to have exactly that combo available! I worked with Matt who was wonderful! We got everything completed in probably an hour and then I was out of there! Pricing was great, environment was great, and the help was phenomenal! I highly recommend going here and working with Matt.
I recently needed a new refrigerator. I met with Pat, who guided me through my options. He was extremely helpful and provided some additional suggestions. Once a decision was made on the right one for us, arrangements were made for delivery of the new refrigerator. They had some great options and the price beat the local competition. I was given a delivery window for the next day. The guys doing the delivery were professional and courteous. The entire team made this a great experience. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

So disappointed! First, delivery time was to be 11:30-2:30. Couch arrived at 3:40 pm. Second, one cushion has black stains and there is some sort of stain on the front, and one of the back cushion’s stuffing is coming out!!!!!!! Answer: somebody will get in touch with us! In the meanwhile, we are not sitting on it! Not the couch we bought!

I like to support local owned companies but not a good experience with Kings. The Salesman Pat is one crooked salesman from several experiences with family members purchasing items from him. What he says is NOT what you will get or when you get it! Get everything is writing! We will not be purchasing anything from there any longer. They are NOT cheaper and their quality of items has went down. Do your own research and you will see.
Worst customer service ever from kings in evansville indiana. Paid in cash for a matress set in may. Have gotten excuse after excuse why i dont have it. Last one was its rainy. They were supose to call me at 10 am last friday. I waited all day. Holding off going anywhere in case i missed them coming . After all its been weeks.they did not even give me the ckindness to call me .i had to call them. Now i just want my money back. And they are avoiding me in that area. Manager was suposevto call me today. Nothing.! Stay away from kings furniture in evansville indiana.. thank God i chose to wait before buying my waher and dryer. I told my husband lets see how we like them first...i do not !!
I was looking to update my entertainment system and did my research on what I wanted and decided on Klipsch. I went to Kings first and was greeted immediately. First positive. I looked for a while and almost purchased the Klipsh Sixes. So I called my wife and got the go ahead but she wanted to come to the store but had some runs to make so I said I will go to Best Buy and look. Terrible experience at Best Buy!!! No help at all, very poor inventory, and over priced. So I go back to Kings. OMG very happy. Because of their service and knowledge I ended up going high end Klipsh Reference Premiere speaker set and the Klipsch 12 sub and a new Denon AV receiver. I am very pleased with the entire experience and recommend Kings over any other retailer when it comes to big electronic purchases. They respected my dollar and treated me with respect. Many of my minor & major electronics have come from Kings. They usually work with me until we can agree on a price that I cant find anywhere else. Not this time. It happens. It was a small purchase but Best Buy beat them on the 2 tvs I needed. I will still go back next time I need something to see what they have.

Pat works non-stop to meet our needs and Tracey is the most amazing designer in the back furniture department. She helped me find the perfect pieces for comfort and style. No one was pushy about a sale. I am not shy about asking questions or being patient to get what I want in the way of homemaking. I would recommend to all!
I went to Kings to talk to a salesman that I had spoken with before. I wanted to buy a bedroom suite and a couple couches. He was talking to someone else, so I started looking around.I started being hounded by someone else immediately. I didnt hear her so apparently she just got louder, until my husband told me. I told her politely who I wished to speak with and she told me he was busy. I said that Id wait for him. She continued, until I told her to stop.The manager came and helped me when I was ready. (She brought the pushy woman, who I guess was learning or a friend) I told the manager what I I liked and was interested in.We came up with some numbers for us to discuss and I told them that I would be in touch. They told me to contact the pushy woman. The next day she called me to ask if we had made a decision while I was at work. The day after that she called while I was at a doctor appointment and kept calling. I finally answered and asked her to stop, that I was at an appointment. She called 5 minutes later and demanded to know what I was going to do. This was her commission! She needed to know now! I said its my money and the way youre acting you will get nothing from me and I will never come back to Kings!There was more phone calls in between. I figured that everyone didnt want or need everything. I had a terrible salesperson shoved down my throat, that I didnt even want. This could have gone a whole lot better. I still see them posting online for people to talk to her.I ended going to Value City and got much better quality. So, I am very pleased with what I got.
Shopped around for a new washer and dryer, Kings really did out beat all the local big stores. Got a better warranty and better financing options. I would definitely buy from them again.
Bought a washer from there seeing the ad originally was told that they were out of stock and the cells woman went to double check and verified that it is in stock and went and bought the product love it. But after that I have called about ads in different categories and has been told they dont know when they will receive so I stopped shopping around there.

Purchased a set of Klipsch Heritagebookshelf speakers. Cannot remember the name of the salesman that helped us but when I asked to hear the LaScala speakers($12k a set) he did not hesitate even though he new they were out of my range. Thats why I was there,to hear those. I did get a very nice set of bookshelf speakers with excellent sound quality for a great price. And because of this experience (and how those speakers sang) I will purchase a set as soon as possible!

Update to 5 stars:I have changed my stars from a 1 to a 5. We had some issues with a chair we bought that kept needing repair. Today, the manager Matt not only took the chair back (we purchased a year ago) and gave us full credit for what we originally paid, but he also gave us a great deal on a new one, making it almost an even trade. This is not the manager I dealt with regarding the dryer. Matt was very customer friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will be going back after todays experience!Previous review: 1starWe have bought a few things from here. We went today to buy the dryer (that matched the washer we previously bought from here). Was told they would sell just dryer, then manager said no, we could only buy as a set. Waste of my time. They said I shouldnt have been able to purchase just the washer the last time. Nowhere on the description and price tags does in state you must buy the set. They also lie on competitor pricing. They showed that Lowes sold same dryer for $899. I went over to Lowes, and not only did they NOT even have the same model, but they had the newer model for only $60 more than what Kings wanted. We were happy with our first couple of purchases from here, but after this experience, we will never be back!

Prices were great. Had problem with dishwasher tray going back into the washer easily. Was told by Pat that all dishwashers were that way, even those that cost $1700.00, and I would have to adapt. Samsung repair service replaced tray that had a bent roller. Now rolls easily. Pat doesn’t appear to know what he is talking about and was no help to his customer.
Have spent about $ 7500 at the Evansville location within past 15 months. Each buying experience was great and installation was smooth, professional, and quick. They made sure we were satisfied. The grade they receive from me is an A+, will buy there again (actually have my eye on a KitchenAid dual fuel oven they sell).

Good place to go if you want to be completely ignored. Walked past two sales people on my way to the high end audio equipment room, milled about in that room for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come in and ask to help me, then walked past the same two sales men on my way out. No one even looked my way. Will be spending my money else where.
My experience at this place was so horrible....I dont even know where to begin...from the manager to the salesperson....I will not EVER go back to this place and would recommend that others avoid this place. Change your name because there is nothing great about this place....total nightmare 😔

Bought a 2300.00 couch and it is only 2 years old have had to call them every week about new tears in upholstery was only one month old when tears started still dealing with them about what they are going to do
We have purchased our last 2 couches from here. You can actually take it home the day you buy it unlike Ashley or Furniture Row.

Most items did not have prices shown. At times it was hard to tell what was simply decoration and what was actually for sale. Any items that did have prices were overpriced as expected. They did not even know what prices were on unlabeled items. The employees had to first create a ticket and then send you somewhere else to pay. They required a phone number without giving a reason. ID is required for card purchases. Will never go again!

Hate this place with a passion. Leah is very rude!!! We ordered furniture and the first time it was delivered they didnt even try to get it in our house! Then when we tried to reschedule the delivery they couldnt even give us a correct day to deliver it. I dont recommend this place at all, take your money elsewhere and save the trouble. Its to much trouble to buy anything from here!!
I have almost always had good experiences here. We have bought several items here over the years. Salesmen Pat and Stanley are very personable and good at their jobs. Recommend them any time.My last visit my sales-person was a shorter older lady and she just didnt seem to have time for me. Therefore I bought my fridge last week elsewhere.
We picked out our stove, fridge, hood vent, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and sectional May 19th. Told salesman that we would not be ready for delivery until Sept due to we was building. Was told that would be fine they would hold it till then. Sept came and set up delivery only got stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Called and fridge wasnt there and wasnt sure where the vent hood and sectional was. About a week later got the sectional and fridge, I had to go pick up the hood vent myself so my builder could install it. The pedistal was broke when went to install and still dont have one. Tried to get a manager to return a call to discuss the matter and 2 weeks later still no return call. Poor customer service.... when you spend a chunk of money you would think they would want happy customers but all they want is the sell. They are nice during the process but after delivery they are done with customer service.
Believe me here. It will save you trouble to listen to me I wouldnt give them 1 star if I didnt have to in order to review them. Horrible service. Horrible products. If you want to spend days, weeks trying to get a product that you bought new that works.. this is the place... If not then stay away. Believe me.

We went to Kings on 1//13/20 and dealt with Matt( Manager) . We bought a sofa and 2 recliners. The recliners were special order to match sofa fabric. After consideration we decided that the sofa was not the quality product i wanted. I called and cancelled the sofa, Matt seemed ok at that point. We called back the next day to see if we could hold up on ordering the recliners until we checked the fabric selection. We had chosen fabric to match sofa. The receptionist said should be ok and she would let Matt know. We went back in on the 15th and asked for Matt.He started off by telling us it was too late. They had already cut the fabric to make the chairs. On the next day??? I told him i needed to see the fabric sample to decide. He then informed me that they would charge me 20% restocking fee (320.00) if i didnt follow through with the order. He started getting very rude and complaining about the time he had wasted with us. I told him to just cancel our order and sue me for the restocking fee. He stormed away popping off about all the time he spent helping us. We thought about it and said we would go ahead and take the chairs, to avoid the restocking fee. He then yelled and pointed in my face. He said I wont sell to you. You will just find something else wrong and complain.He said he would just cancel the order. I left him with have a nice day. What a jerk. How do they even stay in business? I wish there was a zero star option on reviews.
Had a good experience with Jerry, buying a new recliner. This is the second recliner I have bought here and we have enjoyed the first one so much that we came back to get my wife one a year later just like. We enjoy the cat napper product line. I also have a reclining sofa I bought here 19 years ago when I was a bachlor and I still have it and it still looks good and is still comfortable nearly 20 years later.
My wife and I purchased a kitchen appliances package from Kings and before the manufacturer warranty wasnt even up and the stove had a big crack in the cook top. They replaced it and was happy . Well we bought a washer and dryer from them and once again before the manufacturer warranty wasnt even up and the dryer will only dry on quick dry. Ever again will I purchase anything else from Kings. PERIOD!!!!
We recently bought a new house and (obviously) needed to fill it with brand new furniture. Our trip to Kings covered literally EVERY thing we needed to make our new house a home. Since we bought the majority of our furniture and appliances here they gave us a pretty good deal on it as well. This is the best place to stop for everything you need.
Deon was exceptional in the care and service that he provided for us in the purchase of our appliance. All the people at Kings are kind and friendly. It is like a family there. Come see for yourself the difference at Kings compared to the big box stores.

Background to my rating......1Looking for a piece for our couch & walked out with a 86” TV, dishwasher & the piece for the couch. Salesman was very nice & not pushy, which was a great surprise......that’s the only thing I can say nice about the companyDelivery was scheduled for Saturday (TV & dishwasher), we were told that the TV would be delivered at 0900 but had to call at 0930 for the dishwasher. TV was on time but after calling 4x times (between 0930-11:10) finally getting a 3hr window (4-7pm) delivery time for the dishwasher. At 6:45pm, I called the store due to no delivery; I was told that they were busy. The driver calls at 7:15pm stating that he will be there in 45mins! Arrived & started installing but we realized that it was the wrong dishwasher. After a call to the Manager by the driver, we were told that he will contact us on Monday.Monday, Tuesday no call from the Manager but I went to the store & left a message for the Manager to please call me. He calls my wife & makes arrangements for Thursday delivery after 5pm. Thursday at 6:30pm, I called the store because no delivery. The front desk had no clue of our delivery & would contact the manager, never heard anything back that day.Friday, I received a call from the manager asking if Saturday morning or Monday evening would be feasible. He also stated that he would provide compensation for our time & issues we have had. Very hesitant on making “another” scheduled appointment, we decided on Saturday morning at 0900. At 10:20, the driver arrived with the correct dishwasher.......!!!I have called multiple time & store visits to talk with the manager & after 2wks of trying, I still have not heard from him. We still don’t have confirmation that the couch piece (which brought us into the store in the first place) was even ordered. We were told that payment would start after we have received everything, which was incorrect .....payment is already due.I HIGHLY recommended NOT shopping at this company.......After they received our/your money.......the customer service & communication is over !!
So I give Kings a top notch rating. I buy all my appliances and most electronics here. Well I purchased a kitchen appliances set and I had a issue with the dishwasher. The warranty I purchased with it helped but I still had issues with my dishwasher and the warranty company was taking to long to get it right(2 1/2 months). I called Kings and there sales staff went out of there way to make it right. Because of my issues they exchanged the dishwasher with a new model. Just want to say thank you to Ms Sandra, Pat and the nice office lady that went out of there way to solve this problem. I went into Kings this last weekend and was a very happy camper when I left. I had been to multiple places looking for a new TV, but after leaving Kings I felt very happy with my TV and the price I paid for it. The staff were very helpful and were very patient with me when deciding what I was looking for. If you want great service and find what your looking for I recommend Kings!

Horrible customer service this time when we bought our appliances there. Our dishwasher wasnt even installed correctly, so they sent someone out to fix it. The screws didnt hold. My fiance called to complain needless to say he fixed this problem himself and I might add we took out an extra warranty!!!! Now we r still waiting to get a piece repaired on our fridge bc they keep ordering the wrong part!!! This is 4 months later after we have received our appliances!!!!!! Needless to say we wont be buying nothing else here!!!!!
I am so disappointed in your store! I was going to purchase a washer and dryer but cancelled the order. I never got the merchandise. Still $247 was taken twice (Sept 10 and Oct 10) from the account. Plus, the $49 down payment. We are not talking nickels and dimes we are talking almost $550.00!!!How is this legal?To add insult to injury, I had accidentally given the sales person my fiancé’s debit card. He apparently didn’t even look at the name on it. I surely did not mean to use that card! He has NO contract with you. I signed my name not his. I didn’t even notice that I had given the wrong card until I was checking his account and mine like I periodically do.I let the sales people know. They didn’t care. So they are COMITTING FRAUD taking money from a man who never signed ANYTHING.I DEMAND AN IMMEADIATE REFUND OF ALL THE MONEY.If we must go to court I will seek the merchandise AND the money. Its called pain and suffering!Don is on oxygen 24 hours a day and I can’t bring him there. I have made enough inquiries. I just want the money.Like I told them when I cancelled, I can’t get reception on my phone at work. I shouldn’t have to run all over town to get a refund. Took over 2 months to get our bed we ordered because people kept forgetting to place order. The people in Evansville were also rude the few times we have went in and were little help.
We get all our appliances from Kings and been very happy for over 20 years. Its unique that the staff is actually trained on the appliances, not just reciting what I can read myself from the brochure like the other places.
We bought a display dishwasher. It did break right away. When we notified Kings, they stayed on the manufactor for weeks. We ended up with a better and newer dishwaher. Worth the wait! We ended up with the garbage disposal for free as well. They definitely go above and beyond for their customers.

Waited for about 30-40 mins while looking at furniture. No associate came over to help or even acknowledge we were looking. Ended up leaving and going to a differnt furniture store and purchased a complete living room set.
I have bought many things there over the years, but my last purchase of a refrigerator has not gone good. I bought it in Aug. And have had a person to look at or fix it six times already. And even had a water leak from where they hooked it up wrong and now my floor has some water damage.
Purchased expensive washer, told it would be in, in 2wks. Well that was 2.5 wks ago, found out this morning that .it should be on the truck Monday. Im disabled and dragging laundry to laundromat is too strength draining. Are there any stores that do what they say.

Wish there was a zero star bc there manager Matt deserves NOTHING!!! We were lied to and was talked to VERY RUDELY!!! Waited around all Saturday on a scheduled apt and never came!!! Was told 6 weeks we would have furniture and almost 8 weeks later still nothing!!! Was told our money would be refunded on the following Monday and that didnt happen had salesman on Wednesday try to talk us out of the refund and Didnt get our money for over a week after what we were told!!! KINGS get a clue we are the customer you need us we DO NOT NEED YOU!!!
Saleperson was new. She had trouble with computer. She did not know that the person had to go another location to get the bed frame.

Customer service agents do not call back and actually act like they have no clue when furniture will arrive. SO disappointed with this store, I am shocked at the high ratings on here. One star is too much for this place.

Kings is a very diverse store & it is spread out inside which is very confusing however, the sales personnel take the time to show you what you want & can beat some other places on price & customer service.
