Will never again buy ANYTHING from them. I ordered a gift for my son for Christmas. Because the Amazon account I ordered from was in his name I was not allowed to pick it up. I had the form of payment used and the account to prove that it was my card that was used to make the purchase. They did not consider it my purchase so I could not pick up the item. I was, however, able to cancel the order for a full refund and then was able to purchase the exact same item. I was allowed to cancel someone else’s order, but wasn’t able to pick it up even with the credit card that was used to make the purchase.

Dont take your computer in if it wont boot up.I went in to best buy to have my computer diagnosed, and they recommended a $200 plan that was supposed to include a diagnostic, a data backup and transfer, and repair of the computer.Upon dropping the computer off, I told them it would bot boot. Later on that week I got a call telling me that it is most likely my motherboard, and that it would need to be shipped out to be further diagnosed, costing another $84. I asked them why I would be charged another fee to diagnose the computer and they said that they cant do much if the computer wont boot. I then asked if I could get a refund on the plan I had purchased since they cant diagnose the computer without it booting.After returning to pick my computer up they STILL charged me the $100 fee to diagnose the computer, and said that they did a basic diagnoses of taking the back off and making sure nothing was unplugged.I am never taking a computer to geek squad again.

Customer service is very good finding someone to check out is problematic at times. Told to go to customer service, they said other side,other side said over there at the return desk. Finally got checked out by a young lady who just got done telling a coworker she was tired of dealing with customers.

Been going there for years. Not so much anymore. Im a music nut so I used to go for that and movies.Cds have been gone for a long time. Now the movies are gone.I dont have much use for the place anymore. No real Best Buys that you cant find other places. (And cheaper)

Bought a TV in March 2021 and had a warranty on it. The TV broke before the warranty was expired. Geek Squad couldnt fix it so they said I could exchange it. I thought all was good and when i called they apparently outsource their calls now and the guy who answered had no clue what he was doing. I went to the store i bought it from and told them i had an exchange... Well apparently their effed up idea of an exchange is to put the price of the tv into store credit and have absolutely nothing remotely close to what i had brought in. If I could give them zero stars i would. Dont waste your time here. Go to walmart instead.

Bathroom didnt have any paper towels to dry your hands. Store was ok, employees not well trained on what they sell. A lot of I dont know and we dont have that when what we were asking for was directly in front of him. Good stuff, poor service.

Today I helped an 84-year-old friend buy a new printer! As a retired teacher, shed done her research and pretty much new what she wanted and needed! As I went to retrieve an employee to help us, shed already found the one shed chosen from her online research. The employee, TAYLOR, suggested one similar to her choice, yet it was more suited to her needs and even CHEAPER! How REFRESHING to find a person in sales who is trying to SAVE you money! TAYLOR truly cared about what was best for this senior customer and had no intention of just making a quick sale! The entire time, TAYLOR was PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE, and POLITE! Thank you, TAYLOR, not just for what you did for my friend today but HOW you did it! TAYLOR is a KEEPER! =)

Was greeted at the door with a smile and shortly after my entrance and looking through phone cases, I was asked if I needed assistance... yes of course, I found what I wanted and was directed to the area I would go for the rest of my items. Two men in the back quickly found what I needed and after $1235 and a receipt...🤭 I was on my way out the door. Quick and friendly service!

I asked for a quote which I got but I wasnt able to demo/hear the product suggested and you have to pay for the service at the time of booking appointment. They have a great supply of electronics, definitely more than your average grocery store electronics isle. I will say however that I did have some troubles with each best buy location Ive visited having the particular item I was searching for in stock. I can go ahead and guess its because its pretty popular among kids. The service at these locations I visited were pretty poor, also. I had to search to find help.

In person experience with Geek Squad is very good both in service and expertise. But that’s where it ends. Often kept waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes before I get any response. A device I dropped off 2 days ago for a simple repair has not even been assigned to an agent according to the link I was given to track my device’s progress. Frustrating.

We started to leave and then decided to just look around and happened to find what we came there for. It would be nice if the people would double check before saying just order it online. I ordered a switch online and they had it ready when I got there to pick it up. The 20 dollar gift that came with it did not come to my email so the lady behind the counter made sure that I got it by putting it on a gift card when I picked the Switch up. It was no hassle and very easy to do.

This evening (06/30) at 7:30 PM, I went in to our local Best Buy (#227 Evansville, IN, to purchase a new unlocked cell phone (not a cheap phone, but eventually my final total was $1,607.47) The store hours were posted for 8PM. We immediately went to the mobile area and no one was around. I ask security if they could get someone to help us. Nathan appeared shortly after. We ask a few questions and told him great wed like to purchase the phone. He walks behind the counter at another person comes up and whispers to him. Nathan tells us he cannot make any sales, his drawer has been closed. We would have to check out at the front counter. Ok, no biggie, lets proceed.Nathan gets on his terminal and pulls up the item we are interested in and says, well we dont have any in-stock, there is an open box available in Owensboro. (No thank you, I do not want to purchase some ones return, I want a bright new shiny one!) Ok he said let me look, I have 2... blah, blah, blah... Ok great Ill take one. ATT or Verizon he asked... Unlocked I said, like I had mentioned several times in our conversation already.During this conversation, we hear a ruckus behind us, and at 7:40, the security locked the front door and rolled down the security gate. I said WOW wish my boss would let me do that, (close my drawer before closing, lock the door 20 minutes early, & by the way, if you call the #227 Evansville Best Buy, no one will answer, you are routed to a recording.) My boss was standing beside me this entire time. Nathan said we can order it on line through the store and we will have in 7-10 business days. I ask if I could order on line, sure he said. What about the protection plan? He said you cannot purchase it on line, but you have 30 days after purchase to bring it in the store and purchase it. Sorry folks, I am a girl, I am impatient and I am not afraid to admit it. I decided to wait, we thanked Nathan for his time and walked out of the store. My boss, who is also my boyfriend, pulled up Best Buys website, searched for customer service and it took a few minutes of perusing through their website to find it, but we did. I put my phone number in, received a confirmation text and within 5 minutes, Stephanie (she is why I rated them 3 stars and not just 1) with Best Buy gave me a call. In 17 minutes and 19 seconds, Stephanie answered all my questions. ordered the device, explained in detail how the service plan works, added it to my phone, and gave me a discount of $50. Oh and I will have my phone in 2 DAYS!!! TWO... sleep, wake up, sleep, and my phone will be here. I despise the fact that customer service is dying. I despise this post covid world we live in that no one wants to work and covid is still an excuse for everything. We own our own business and if we treated people this way, 1) I would not want to work here 2) I wouldnt have to worry about it because we would be out of business. Complain about things that are important and be accountable. Be kind and Be a decent human being!! Thank you and good night.

I tried to buy a washer and dryer from Best Buy. I paid for it in January and had to wait for delivery until February. That was fine, but the day before it was supposed to be delivered I get an automated call saying that my appointment needed to be rescheduled. There was no reasoning or anything. I had to chat with 2 different people on the Best Buy website just to get any information that the delivery date had been pushed back to APRIL. We had less than 24 hours notice that we would have to be without a washer and dryer for over 2 months. I tried multiple times to call the Evansville store and they put me on hold each time and I would wait around 20 minutes each time and no one ever answered the phone. Terrible customer service

Absolutely no offer of help to find what l came in for and no clear signage regarding current sales for the products l wanted. I was able to walk around and find what I wanted, eventually and was pleasantly surprised at checkout due to one of my items being on sale/ part of a package deal. The cashier was really nice though. She and the package deal are why theyre getting 4 instead of 2 stars for this trip.

Made an appointment to have my tablet brought in so they could repair and was only informed they do not repair samsung tablets when I arrived in the store. I was then told they dont explain that over the phone because it takes too long. Like the customer care but the hp laptops seem to always fail my dad had an expensive hp laptop when it was finally paid off the motherboard crashed and there was nothing anyone or the staff could do but I did in the end ig get a good deal on a router there

Poor customer service, most employees just stand around. Seemingly on break in the mobile area eating Pringles, very unprofessional. If you do have one ask if you need help they act put out if you say yes. Store often poorly stocked, generally messy. From my experience must be poorly managed.

I went there to find out if there was an adapter that has a semi on one end and a coaxial on the other but apparantly that doesnt exist. Sales guy said I had to buy a $50 digital tv converter box. I didnt really believe him and it kinda mad him mad I think. So I left empty handed. I asked around a little bit and found out he knew what he was talking about so I went back the next day and bought the $50 converter. (The coaxial on the back of my tv broke off from screwing the cable cord off and on too many times) point is they know what they are talking about at Best Buy! lol

Couldnt get anyone to help me get prices on a couple things I was looking to purchase. I was looking up on the highest shelf, obviously needing assistance, but I didnt say anything...I shouldnt have to when 3 employees were chatting it up not 10 feet away. I had to climb up a ladder and look at them myself. I cant lie, this is one of the worst Best Buy stores out there. Ive seen a handful, and this is the worst by far. Not a good experience, so I decided not to purchase anything. They had what I was looking for, but a smaller stereo shop may value my time, and hard earned buck, much more than this place. So thats where Ill make my purchase.

I used their curbside pickup and everything went perfect. Easy to order online and received notifications my order was ready for pickup within about 10 minutes. When I arrived at store my order was brought out within a couple minutes. I also saved $20.00 on the item purchased because it was on sale.

Garbage. Customer service at the Evansville Indiana store is a joke. I called 3 times, 3 separate days, and spoke to no one! Was on hold for 2 hours almost each time! Hire employees that will speak to the customer. I’ve been in the store and know that the employees are not so swarmed that they can not answer the phone. I’ve called as soon as they open and close. The person sitting up front by the door will let the phone just ring off the hook and never pick up.

Went in for only customer service. Wow, were they busy, Christmas rush was in full swing. Saw people were being proactive in proper use of mask and distancing. Store personnel worked quickly as possible but gave each customer service as needed.
