I had a electrical issue with my car which turned out to be a bad connection with the battery. He could have easily charged me 100$ for running a diagnostic which most dealerships do but instead he fixed the issue free of charge. Not only this, he refused to do an oil change for me as the car didnt need it at the moment and suggested to wait. Gena is one of most honest mechanic I have seen in the Evanston area and I will be using him for all my car services in the future. Thank you so much.

Honest mechanic . Wouldnt take my vehicles to anyone else

I live in the neighborhood and have been going to Northshore for years. Gene the owner is from Russia and is very smart and honest. They do excellent work and Ive found their prices to be on the lower side. He may have some problems communicating on the phone but in person there are no issues. I like Gene and very glad hes within walking distance of my house. This isnt the fanciest of places but neither are the prices.

Our large family has been taking their vehicles to NSAC for 15 years. Great quality service, reliability and friendliness. Thank you, Gene and the staff!

Both cars have been purchased from Martin Nissan dealership. At beginning I was doing some work at Martin Nissan repair workshop. But after several cases I completely switch to North Shore Auto Clinic and here is my reasoning:1. Any dealership will feed you with plenty unnecessary and costly procedures like numerous fluids changes, still working parts replacement. With the owner of North Shore Auto Clinic - Genadiy, we have checked all these from few websites (including official Nissan) and the most of them appeared to be optional. I am sticking with Genadiys recommendations and my Nissan Quest running from 23K till 150K without any mechanical problems so far.2. The most important for me: Genadiy has much deeper understanding and knowledge of car mechanics and electronics than Nissan certified specialists at Martin Nissan.Genadiy fixed ABS malfunctioning on my Nissan Quest just in a week, were as official dealership repair service from Martin Nissan failed to do for 1.5 year. And it was not just a luck or more experience, but the approach: Genadiy and his team investigate and explore your case and use intelligence, not just instructions.3. No cheating in North Shore Auto Clinic. At least I never experienced it in this place, whereas in other places it happens.4. Even some services are not available at North Shore Auto Clinic for regular customers they will find places where a work can be done for you and will check how the work has performed. So, you can get all services in one place without worries.
