My son had to scan and send a drawing asap and Office Max was able to do that for him. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately the night before last he went a different company similar type of store and the guy knew nothing about how to do his job. He told my son well I dont know what to tell you!! On another note the store seemed halfway empty on alot of shelves and didnt seem to have too great of a selection.. seems like Office Max used to have better choices and selections before the moved over here!! It is a clean store and the guy that helped me was really nice.

I recently purchased an executive office chair at the store. I had no idea what type of chair to buy. While browsing chairs, I was approached by Ben, one of the store employees, who asked if I needed help. I told him I would really appreciate some guidance. Ben was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a chair that was a good fit for me. I had planned on paying the assembly fee (around $15) then returning to pick up the chair the next day. I decided to ask Ben if I could simply take the display chair with me, then they could build another display model after I left. Normally office supply stores will not allow you to take the display model no matter what. But Ben agreed and I walked out with a great chair. One of the other employees Shannon was also very helpful during my visit.

I am volunteering with fire evacuees and first responders, so I needed to get some signs made up for our resources being offered. I had initially planned to go to a small print shop in town, but because I was driving by this area, I just went in to Office Max. Im so glad I did. I had a really great conversation with Reggie while he made our volunteer group copies, and it was the most personable experience Ive ever had at a big box store. He really cared about our cause, and helping our shared community during this tough time. It was a highlight of my day. It makes me want to come back, but now my expectations of the employees here are high after working with Reggie :)

We have always shopped at Office Max/Office Depot for our school and business supplies. We have been to this location several times now and have always encountered unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude staff. Today I had an employee go pick up an online order. He had not been there before and was not aware of the procedure and was very rudely told he needed to allow staff to get his order as he stood looking at the Online Order Pickup sign. He was also gruffly asked to keep his mask on, which was on, but he had a phone call and it had slipped down slightly. This is one example of several similar encounters at this store and unfortunately the last; we will now be taking our business elsewhere.

Tried to buy a office chair for work employee could not figure out how to use the computer so he told me the chair was on back order would not sell me the floor model either yet I had been told before they would, I got home and had the chair ordered from there website in about 30 seconds.......

Ben W. assisted me with patience as I chose office furniture ... especially the chair. I appreciated his professionalism and kindness. My purchase with the store was flawless. HOWEVER, I recommend that this OfficeMax/OfficeDepot choose a delivery carrier that actually carries 100 lb boxes of furniture pieces into my home. It was dropped on a pallet inside my garage where I had to hire a neighbor kid to help me lift into the room for the assembly company. The assembly company also stated they would not carry anything and all boxes had to be in the room it was being placed for assembly. NEXT, Apollo Furniture Assembly should also be fired as their assembly company. Had to wait two weeks for an appointment. At 11:45am during my 8-12 window, a man calls to cancel and could not tell me when he might be able to reschedule the tech again. Then I was contacted with another appointment, same tech who didn’t show up the first time almost two weeks later.... again. I canceled the appointment, OfficeMax/OfficeDepot gave me a refund, no problem. I’m sure there are other delivery and assembly companies who value your referral business and customers more.

They are always knowledgeable and helpful. They were out of stock of the item I went in for. There was a sign about how to get it the quickest. I ordered, paid and delivery was free in two days. I called customer service and asked them to deliver between 12 & 5. Easy.

Needed print work done, including designing two images into a back-to-back, two-per-page setup that would be cut down to size. The team got us in and out in less than an hour. Second trip needed the same work - team members working then were much slower on the design side, but still very friendly and capable. Dont ever mess with Kinkos printing - just go here. It will be a much more enjoyable process, and probably cost less, too! (Google lets you know about in-store coupons here, which saved us 20% on out first job.)

I came in on a Friday night 45 minutes before they closed and made customizable business cards in the store on their self-service computer. I paid and put the order in. I wasn’t told it would be a while to get them and that someone else prints off the kind I ordered until the next day when I came in to get them, under the assumption they would be done when the site says an hour. Which was another issue, going online at home had very different options than in-store. So I cancelled my order since I needed them asap, and went home to make them online with the same day offer. I did that around 3, five hours before they closed. I also made brochures. When I came in the next day several hours after they opened, the cards were done, but the brochures were not and I had to wait an hour for them. For some reason they wouldn’t print on the right sized paper even though I had clear photos and stayed within the lines given when you are making it. The person who helped me, Reggie, was very nice and helpful. But in the end I was very frustrated with their system and all of the issues that popped up through my three day experience. They didn’t seem to take my order very urgently, I definitely didn’t feel like I was valued or made a priority whatsoever until Reggie helped me finally.

Its nice to have an office supply store in south Eugene, I was tired of trekking to the far north end of town just for printer ink or paper. I also love that they have great customer service, a good selection of products- I always find what I need, and the photo copy shop is also great. Plus they have a great rewards program.

Their customer service is exceptional! One of the managers, Ivan, in particular goes above and beyond. For a recent computer purchase, he worked patiently with me to address my questions/technical concerns on two different follow-up visits after the sale. We also use their copy center and have found their service and quality to be great, too. Weve had photos printed from the same digital files at several printers, but they always turn out best from Office Depot on Willamette. Prices are good, too!

Store seems a bit in disarray. I went in and purchased some notebooks most recently and they were in the wrong pricing shelf along with tons of other inventory. The associate changed the price but they need better display management.

Clerks are friendly and helpful. When I couldnt find a package of heavy cardstock, a clerk stopped what she was doing and walked me to the right area. I just wish the Office Depot on W 11th hadnt closed.

I had the most horrible shopping experience of my life at this store. I purchased Quick Books Pro for Mac and forgot to ask for the free Learning Quick Books software being offered with purchase of Quick Books. I returned a couple days later to get my free software but the store did not have Learning Quick Book for Mac. They only had the PC version and the price tags on the display case had the same part number for both versions of the software. I checked on the internet and Learning Quick Books for Mac does exist. The store manager check the Office Max website for the software and check for any Mac versions available in the district. He couldnt find the software in his system. So I asked him what we do now? He said they didnt carry the software and there was nothing he could do about it. I asked for a refund and he refused because I open the box. He offered to give me the PC version but thats all he could do. I told him the PC version would not work for me because I have a Mac. He said that he would not provide me the Mac version because the product number on the price tag on the display case was for the PC version. I ask him if it made any sense that Office Max intended to provide PC software to accompany Mac software. He would not answer my question and was evasive. In my opinion the Manager did not try to do the right thing. So I guess I got ripped off and I was denied software that I was entitled to. Very poor service and I will never go back to another Office Max again.
