Spent 2 hours looking at clothes to find out that the dressing rooms are closed (because of COVID??). I am in support of reasonable precautions but this is void of reason or logic. When was the last time you heard of someone catching COVID in a changing room? Additionally, the store is mostly filled with clothes for sale. Seems like a poor business model to have closed dressing rooms. Every other retailer that sells clothes in town has opened dressing rooms. Ridiculous! Also, as stated in previous comments, it is overpriced. There was a dress for $118! Mind you it was marked down from its original higher price but you can get something of your choice, brand new, for that price. Did I mention the word ridiculous?

Are we actually sure this is a St. Vinnies? The prices are almost the same as buying brand new! You know when I was younger all jeans were 2.00 and shirts were .25 to .75 cents! I know that was in the 90s, I just always felt they were there to let people be able to afford nice things that were donated to them! I dont know..I mean I always find great deals at the other locations! And I wanna let you all know your customer service needs severe work! The customer service is almost not even there!!

I worked here for 9 weeks as part of a job training program, and it went well. The manager was very understanding when I would get in late some days due to bus arriving late and other factors. The staff were nice and well to get along with, and the stuff they have to deal with from rather unruly customers on a daily basis makes them really good employees in my eyes, from dealing with people just blatantly gathering a ton of clothes and just throwing them on the couch, to people just straight up stealing. They taught me a lot about how the clothes are organized and sorted, as well as the miscellaneous items, which Ill be carrying that job experience over to my next job. One thing I would improve on, however, is the pricing on some items. Some items, I can agree, can be overpriced (i.e. a flimsy plastic desk priced at 30 something dollars), and some items being underpriced in my opinion (such as a pretty expensive dress just priced around maybe 5-10 dollars). Overall, it was a great work experience and I was very satisfied with working there.

The store itself is all right… But the STAFF there have a serious attitude problem. Short dark hair woman calls herself The manager, and she is the worst out of all of them. If I was Saint Vinnys I would be ashamed to have people like that working for me!!BOOOO to your customer service skills

ABSOLUTELY NO DONATION CENTER SHOULD CHARGE $600.00 for a used beat up dresser. These places are made to help people who can’t afford new furniture. This is absolutely horrendous to see these prices!!! These items are donated (free) to these places...it’s should be illegal for them to do that! We bought 3 pieces of brand new hand crafted furniture on Amazon for cheaper than ALL FURNITURE in this store!

Visited this location today looking for outdoor furniture and just to browse. As I was there some employees where pulling out a new patio set and I was so excited I asked how much since it wasn’t priced yet and the employee called over the “manager/ boss lady” to find out for me. The lady walks over looks at me and tells me (This is to expensive for you).... not even knowing my situation or that I did in fact have the money. Then proceeds to tell me they won’t sell it as a set and wouldn’t tell me the prices on the rest of the chairs/ table and it’s for individual purchase only. Just seemed rude to me so I decided I would not buy any of the pieces of the full set just based of how she acted towards me. Will not be returning to that location and hope nobody else gets treated like that just because they are young or whatever she profiling by assuming I couldn’t afford it.

Ive been a thrift shopper and collector for many years. Ive also found amazing goods at other Vinnies locations. This store seems to be an unbelievable exception. They have some good items, but they have pricing on the products here that compare to buying the same items new at even cheaper prices elsewhere.Ive never been in a thrift store and seen a $900.00 price tag on a bed, or $50.00 for a 10 year old non-HDTV and had someone suggest that they were selling for that elsewhere before.Whoever is running this program forgot about the neighborhoods theyre supposedly providing for and decided non-profit really means max profits on free stuff to funnel into the business and expand.Im not likely to return here again. Im actually offended and I dont get offended by much, ever.

Hate to poorly review a helpful organization but they need to review their pricing strategy. Retail pricing on beat up and outdated electronics, and abhorrent deals on scratched up torn/abused furniture. Pictured white couch was listed for ONE THOUSAND.

I rode my bike to here to shop for a few things. When I entered the store I expected to give my backpack to the clerk like I have had to every time Ive shopped in this store. This time I was told not only would they not hold it for me, I was told I cannot have that backpack in the store. I promptly told them Im on a bicycle, where am I supposed to put it?, to which the clerk replied dont know what to tell you. Sound familiar, a branch from the just doing my job tree. If Im not allowed to bring a bag to put my purchases in because I ride a bike, then I just wont shop here anymore.

St. Vs is great! Good products, good prices, using funds to help many people, and creative in recycling materials that otherwise would add to the ground fill. This is my favorite place to give what we no longer use and to shop for things that others no longer use. .

While Im sure you can find deals here, their pricing is higher for everything than the cleaner and more organized St. Vinnies location off River Rd.99 cent plastic soda cups and $500 stained leather couches?Seriously, this place is about two steps up from a landfill, but the pricing... Its likely theyve got a hoarder in the back, wringing his hands over selling any of this precious stuff.

I almost fainted when I checked out the price tags on dressers. Geeez!, $400-$900 for banged up looking dressers? Is this some kind of joke? I thought, for a moment that perhaps the nine hundred dollars was meant to say ninety dollars, but nooooo. Other than that I like the store, lots of neat stuff at good prices. Maybe the person who prices the dressers has an obsession with dressers and just doesnt want anyone else to have them.

I don’t know anything about their mission work, but the store is so extremely overpriced I felt like I was in an alternate reality! 99% of the items are such complete rip offs that it isn’t even fun to search for the good stuff. Every item I picked up I immediately set down when I saw the sticker. Place is a real drag.Edit: added a star because clothes prices are reasonable if that’s what you are interested in.

Im really disappointed in how expensive St. Vincent De Paul stores have become.. They have turned into a glorified boutique compared to a place that used to be fun to go search for deals at. The items were donated and staff is pricing stuff out at full blown retail price on some of the vintage items. Also the deal that was struck with the company that does all the catalog photo shoots or whatever with all the demo furniture is just plain stupid.. a million orange tags floating around the store that NEVER end up in the discount days rotation..

What the $&&@... the most expensive second hand junk I’ve ever seen.. they should be shut down for trying to take advantage of poor people. If they need to increase revenue to help people they should look into lean processes, reducing overhead, and or renegotiating there contracts at a more reasonable rate... not shafting the consumer that’s either low income or someone wanting to support the cause. Example: someone drops of a end table from 1992, with obvious but minimal damage, that was once purchased for, let’s say 100 bucks... they used it for 20-30 years ... now a employee gets it and carries it out o the showroom and slaps a 200$ price tag on it. So now every person that’s doesn’t have mental problem see it and thinks ; wow that’s an end table that I would have sold in a yard sale for 5 bucks .. lol

All the purses, good brands, were all under $$10 and most all were 50%and 25% off. That goes for shoes and clothes too. Everything I looked at was very reasonably priced.I feel like the other reviews about high prices and them being ridiculous is actually not the brand new store but the one where west 11th turns one way at Garfield. Not the new.location beside the DHS office.

Great variety of products. Good- not great prices, but any extra cost goes to provide the great services of St Vinnys. There are many treasures in the store that are on the shelves- you just have to look a little bit. I have purchased many things- vacuum cleaners, mowers, building materials, tools, doors... and have always been satisfied.

They are out of their minds if they think people want to pay $1000 for a USED couch that has different colored cushions! This used to be my favorite place to shop for inexpensive household items but I will never return. They get these items for FREE. I guarantee their overhead isnt that high to justify these absorbent prices... and no public restrooms? Thats the fastest way for me to leave on a hurry. Its hot outside and in the warehouse, if you hydrate, youll need to use a restroom eventually. Terrible what this place has become.

Complete and utter rip-offs and weasels. Not only are their prices out of line and without sense, they dont care...they just dont care. Stopped off on a trip from Reno to check out the electronics...picked up an old ADC speaker that looked interesting. Got it back to Reno and discovered that both drivers (speakers) and all electronics had been removed, leaving only an empty, useless, ugly box. For $35 dollars. May as well take my money and flush it down the toilet. I am beyond pissed. Avoid at all costs or be very, very careful.

Over priced!!!! WAY OVER PRICED....$1000.00 FOR A COUCH??? I dont care if it is pottery barn ... Fact is it was DONATED.... Even at 20-50% off...bought a keurig coffee pit 69.99 @50% off... Get it home... Does NOT WORK and the k cup holder is missing.... Did i test it first? No ..why? Because it was all wrapped up in plastic wrap to give the appearance everything was there ...my bad??? Yes!!!But shame on St vincents also. They are getting to be as bad as goodwill....They can say non profit but there is definitely a 100-500% profit margin.149.99 for a used with visual damage naugahyde recliner.. $150 for a dresser??? 35.00 for a generic lamp???.I will buy from Facebook yard sale sites knowing the person selling needs the $$ over st. Vinnies any time..Ioath Goodwill but would rather hit their diggie bins any day of the week than be blantetly in my face ripped off
