Needed a new angle grinder, saw this one was cordless and had the quick release system. I used a coworkers and loved it, so when I saw it I knew I had to get it. Price was good and got the blade as well. Overall Im happy with The Home Depot, the associates are very friendly and helped me find the diamond blades for this as this grinder doesnt use the old style of discs that you have to unscrew to switch the blade out. Once I found it they asked if I needed anything else.
I just want to express the greatest customer service that Lisa Medina provides when you need any thing related to an appliance. She helped me get my propane orifices for my propane range. I explained the issue I was having with out any hesitation she got on the phone and I my parts where delivered at my home with in two days. I just want to let her know how much appreciate what she did she went out her way to help me with some thing she probably didn’t need to.Many thanks, Lisa! Great work not to any people provide the customer service you provide.
Rented a mini excavator the other day. Everything about the experience was about as easy as you could hope for. I had rented it a week in advance for a day on Friday (which means ~24 hours). On Thursday I got a text from them saying it was on its way- it turned out they didnt have a driver for Friday so they gave it to me for an extra day free! Driver was skilled and professional. Saturday morning got a text they were on their way to pick up. I hosed off the machine Friday night to avoid the $200 cleaning fee, and of course theres dirt on the tracks because its parked in the dirt but they dont give you any grief about that (i.e. do a decent job hosing the machine off and you wont get charged).The machine itself was in excellent shape, started and ran like a dream every time I turned the key. All the hydraulic levers operated smoothly (you can move the arm very slowly and precisely around pipes and other obstacles). Nothing broken.The ordering experience would have been better with an online form- my phone connection wasnt the best so they were kind of muffled which made it a little difficult to understand. Maybe they were wearing a mask in an office now that I think about it. Still, they understood me fine and the process didnt take long.

I like this Home Depot as the location is convenient and they tend to have most of the things I usually need in stock most of the time. In my experience, everyone Ive interacted with who works there is friendly.Curbside pickup can be a bit hit and miss however – maybe 30% of the time it can take a half hour or longer, which seems to be because the customer service line is long. About ten minutes into a long wait Ill get out and go inside to pick up instead of waiting in the car and can see that there is a long line, so I imagine that must be the reason. Not necessarily anyones fault, just something I mentally prepare for before heading to this particular Home Depot location.An additional problem with curbside pickup here is that it seems curbside pickup not only ends at 6pm, but more specifically orders dont seem to be brought out after that time. So for example if I show up for curbside pickup at 5:50pm and I wait until 10-15 minutes or more have passed, I generally end up going in to the store to pick up my order. Once inside, I am generally told that the reason the order hasnt been taken out to my car is because curbside pickup closes at 6pm (even though I had arrived before 6pm). Perhaps theres not a timestamp on their end to let them know what time people arrive and check in, or maybe theres a list of people who are checked in for their pickup orders that disappears from store employees views after 6pm. However it works, I suggest only arriving for curbside pickup at or before 5:30pm even though pickup doesnt close until 6pm to ensure that your order is brought out by 6pm.Also, on a completely separate note, it is really difficult to get ahold of anyone over the phone (it will ring for maybe 5-10 minutes with no answer and I generally give up as it would be faster to just drive there and find out whatever I meant to ask in person). However, this unfortunately happens with all Home Depots that I have attempted to call, so is perhaps a system-wide problem rather than a problem with this specific store.
I purchased a complete set of kitchen appliances and missed the window to complete the survey regarding my experience. First off I cannot stress what a pleasure it has been working with Lisa in appliances. She has been so helpful and truly professional during this entire process. Following delivery there appeared to be a manufacturer defect with one of my appliances. Lisa reached out to the vendor and assisted with my warranty claim for repair. I am extremely impressed with her excellent communication and ability to resolve matters quickly. Thank you Lisa for being so great to work with!!! This type of customer service keeps me coming back to this store.

Pretty clear where everything is but couldnt find anyone to ask for help unless we went back to the front registers.
As usual I cant find anything and to get someone to help you is very hectic because usually no one is around you have to travel did the front to ask for some help and sometimes they cannot help you because no one is available they are definitely short-staffed and not every person has the knowledge to every aisle unfortunately so when you go to that place youre on your own you think the CEOs And the managers would understand if they do better job they may gain more money So I try my best to go someplace where they have immediate help Nothing person To home depot I just gotta tell the truth
Everyone is super friendly. Despite this place being male dominated, you feel safe, free to ask questions free of judgement and secure that they will help answer all of your questions.
I like buying most of my house project materials through home depot and although there may be cheaper places they are usually more helpful. Plus the store layout is great along with their website which can tell you exactly where some stuff is in the store.

I went to home depot to get supplies to make a gate and one of the workers there was very helpful in the lumber area, I am pleased that he was very patient with me in getting all the items on my list, I also appreciated the fact that he didnt try to sell me something that wasnt really needed. I wouldnt hesitate to have John help me anytime I go there.

The customer service that Bee, Alex & Elizabeth showed is AMAZING they went above and beyond to help us! Alex helped me get my return done with a smile even though he helped me unload 64 boxes of laminate :) and Bee made sure to correct an issue I had with my blinds even staying late to cut the blinds herself so that we could get out project complete! Extremely frustrating. Just like other times I found like items in different locations. This frustrates customers and store workers alike. Water filters should be with water filters not some here and some there. I had to enter the store twice to avoid having to drive across town.Aisles perpendicular to the main aisles need to be labeled better.
Today I was looking for door knobs and had no idea which one to choose, and there was no one in hardware. A gentleman, I hope I get his name right, I believe Bryce, from plumbing came over and helped me out. He was quick and right to the point on which ones I needed. He rocks. I honestly almost just left because I was getting ignores by the staff in the front, but this guy really made my night. Thanks guy from plumbing 👍

Right now Im working on a catio and i need lumber for the cats to climb on land on and i went to the cull cart in the lumber section and found everything i needed. And had it cut so it would fit in my car and some of the lumber was marked at 70% off the price.

No One To assist you waited To Get help bringing an Item down no one Showed up for 45 Min
Went in to get some chain. First time using cutting machine. Was easy to figure out however when checking out, associates never clearly explained that we needed to scan the cheaper bar code and last minute mentioned we needed to measure out the chain. I understand how that makes sense but the associates were very unhelpful and instead of giving clearer instruction, left me very confused and frustrated. They really were reluctant in helping me. I see that they have 4.3 stars so I am sure some associates are helpful there but I seemed to have had the unhelpful ones.
Good home depot. Laid out much better. Still difficult to get power tools when you cant get an employee to the tool area

You want to know how bad the service was. I am totally disgusted with Home Depot; they didn’t notify me they couldn’t deliver on the first 2 of 3 dates. I could deal with that BUT NOT what happened when they finally delivered.They left a pallet of soil, 20 bags, in the street they didn’t even bother to bring it up Into the driveway, call 30 minutes before delivery as stated they would or come to the front door and tell me that they were there and where would I would like it put. According to their website they will deliver to an accessible area outside your house.When I called and complained about it I’m told that because of the COVID-19 they’re only doing curbside delivery. That is NOT what there website states. Curbside is for curbside pick up when you’re going to the store not curbside delivery. They refused to give me an credit to compensate for me having to move 20 bags and a pallet from the street to my yard. When I called 800 number the manager wasn’t very helpful, but she did call the local office in Escondido and that manager refused to do anything saying it was curbside drop off. How in the hell do you expect anybody to move a pallet of soil from the street to their yard. They couldn’t even bother to put it on the driveway where it would be in my yard and not the street.HD has a currently has a commercial on TV for online orders for delivery of a refrigerator. So I guess they will leave the refrigerator out in the street for somebody to move it into their house on their own! Theres no excuse for this poor customer service.
And they are very helpful stay there distance wear masks, sanitize and have the plastic partitions at the check stands also have self-checkout all while everyone staying 6 ft or more apart great job

Do not order products they do not carry regularly in the store. We ordered a bath tub and wall unit and they kept sending the wrong thing, when the right tub came it was damaged. Hours of time wasted trying to get a replacement unit in.

I absolutely LOVE Home Depot and typically visit the store on a weekly basis. I am a DIY enthusiest and have a home garden too. Where else would I go to get what I need? Not only is the store easy to get to, they almost always have the items Im looking for. Their clearance dept. is a favorite as well. Ive saved a lot of money by purchasing clearance items I otherwise would not have been able to afford. Its fantastic. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff and overall a nicely run operation

Just visited the store, asked for help, was sent to aisle 6 to get compressed air, wasnt there, walked all the way back to the other side of the store ask for help again, on my way saw a worker, but he was not helpful, got to other side of store saw couple of workers but they told me to go back on the other side of the store. The store was very useless.
This particular store on East Valley Pkway has been my Toys R us for the past 13 years since moving to Escondido. It has all of the toys that I need to improve my home.
Needed a rivet gun, asked a guy who worked there and he knew right away where I could find it. Parking is pretty easy and Im reasonably pleased with their selection and service/staff.
Today the team members were attentive, helpful, and store was proactively ensuring customer safety. That ALWAYS gives me a warm, fuzzy and feel good about any business I walk in AND goes down in my book that Ill be back to do business there!
No questions asked when returning broken item excellent company
I was in yesterday for a simple product pickup. The staff was friendly and wearing facial coverings however several customers were wandering around the store without a mask whatsoever.(non existent rather than temporarily pulled down)Home Depot is not enforcing the local mask policy. If I must wear a facial covering I expect the same enforcement for all customers. Local people are dying from covid-19 as I write this review. The death rate is quickly rising. Please enforce the local ordinances for all guests...Ill increase my rating once the enforcement is equal or the county ordinance offenders are removed from the store.
Im really disappointed by the lack of a d horrible customer service. It is up to the customer to find their own cart. The employees point to the parking lot and tell you to go find one if you want one. If you need help, good luck!! I was told by one employer, IDK, they dont tell me anything. I asked three other employees where a simple item was located...three different flip wrong answers and I finally found it myself.

I had to go with my husband to get this tile, all the way up to Escondido.It was already late. And we only found 2 boxes. Same as in San Diego.So I asked this Guy. (Saul) Who was working on some inventory I believe.!He kindly scanned the code if there was any more boxes. But he only found other 2. at the spot it showed on the system. We need it 6 more. And he walked us to the show room. And nothing. But than. He got the ladder and found the rest of the boxes we need it.My husband Is a Pro- Customer. And I can assure you no one has help us as Saul Did. What we get. Is that if is not there.. that. We don’t have it in this store.! So. Thank you Saul. We really appreciate your help. 🙏🏼

I ordered an Item at 1037am. I was getting out of work at 300pm I called an hour before to check up on item. Since it was supposed to be just pay online and pick up well 300pm came checked online order still was not done. I drove in to the home depot to see if I could get it myself. They ended up still having it on the high shelf. Cindy in customer service gets a 5 star for trying to help find the item. She went to find the item. Which she had said they would need to pull it down from the high shelves and would take another 10 minutes. MIND YOU I HAVE already Been waiting 40 minutes now 10 more a total of an hour of standing for an item that should have just been pick up and go. Standing at the register apparently the guy still had not even gone to get it down. 1 hour later I recused my item. Never will I come to this home depot again.

We paid 20,000.00 for a new roof 2 years ago from home depot. We went with them for obvious reasons as well as the 50 year guarantee on the installation and damages.Here we are TWO years later and the corner of our house has rotting wood and the very top of the roof has tiles no longer closing off the space between my house and the weather.We called a contractor to get a quote on fixing the damage, and come to find out that the damage is due to the fact that the roofers at home depot did not install flashing on the roof as well as not fashion the top of the roof tiles with nails or adhesive and now they are coming detached from the top of the roof. (see photos.)We called a contractor to come look but he could NOT and would NOT give us a quote because they could not take the responsibility of no flashing added to the roof during install, and we would have to pay to have the roof fixed.So we called HOME DEPOT to tell them and their response was we do not do roofs any longer and therefore we needed to contact another company that was taking care of claims. An insurance company, not someone to fix it.Well, it has been three months since we began asking them to back up their warranty, and last we finally get an adjusters report last week that said they would give us 1000.00 for the damage and that we would have to find someone to fix it and if that was not enough, we would have to find someone to get a quote. But nothing about FIXING the installation problem that caused it in the first place. (We purchased a 50 year warranty to protect us on the installation and damages.)When the adjuster was here i asked him about the flashing and he said he was not allowed to talk to us about anything and apparently in his report he did not address the installation issue, only the damage resulting, therefore it is not something they wanted to address, however, they would take a second look that could take time since they do not usually send out for a second adjuster.To date, this other company(genpact) has decided that they would ONLY give us protection on the damage, not the installation that we purchased and to get out second adjuster is not usually done either. This will cost far more than what they want to give us. It does not make any sense.The damage, which we have not been able to get a quote on yet because no one will touch it without the flashing being installed is getting worse day by day. (Flashing is required by the California code to be installed on a roof).So, now we are between a rock and a hard place. We have to get someone to put on the flashing first and inspect the roof for other installation issues.THEN we can get a quote on the damage, which we fear will cost far more than the 1000.00 they alloted.We are so disappointed in home depot. Here we are thinking that the warranty would protect us. So we sit, with a deteriorating wood on the house, no flashing, tiles appearing to disengage from the top of the roof and the rainy season advancing. And as we still continue to pay off the 20,000 we are fighting with them to back their guarantee.Today, October 25, 2020, it rained and the stress level with the possibility of mold or leaks is forefront in my mind. My granddaughter took it upon herself to call the home depot in escondido to complain. Their response to date was to send over a tarp. A 50 x 30 foot tarp. It is sitting in my living room because i cannot tarp my roof by myself. I am not sure what i am supposed to do with it. I have called a number of roofing companies to come out and was only successful in getting one to come out in two weeks.I have already chosen and paid for a roof and warranty, i dont think i should have to start over looking for people to fix my roof again, my distrust factor for roofing companies is through the roof. I am trying to contact everyone i can to see what options i have left.

Bought a nice Christmas Tree here, good selection. Price range $40 - $250. Various Firs to choose from. Friendly staff, great customer service. Accessories available such as tree preservatives. They fresh cut and tied the tree to my roof.

Only reason I gate this place lets see costumer service needs big help to doing better, most times you cant find anyone to helping you. Those that stand outside waiting and waving you down either before you go inside definitely when your done getting your supplies you got to many imagrants asking and beg to hire them, I dont think I will never head to home Depot ever again with just very bad practice and way too many issues I know where to turn to getting what I need to work on many of my projects or my clients projects
