Dr. Kennedy and his staff are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very responsive. Ive been seeing Dr. Kennedy for several years and wouldnt go to anyone else. Summit Vision Care is the place to go when you are looking for eye care with compassion.Yesterday, Sept 2, was my first appointment ever with Summit. I went there after a horrible experience with another eye doctor six months earlier. Long story short, that doctor six months ago gave me an RX that did not work and when I tried to tell them I was brushed off as just needing to get used to my new glasses strength. I ended up not using the new RX I was given and continued to use my old glasses.I decided to go in to the doctor again because I knew something was wrong with my eyes, I was having trouble seeing, and I was starting to get very frequent headaches.First of all, the office staff were incredibly kind and professional. Major thumbs up for them.For the exam I was seen by Dr. Sarah Rohr. I didnt tell her much of what was going on at first because I was afraid she wouldnt be able to help me. We went through the usual exam parts (better one....or two) and when I was done she calibrated the machine to my new RX. When it was put up to my face I started crying. Everything was so clear. I could actually read the 20/20 line no problems. She was so patient with my crying, handed me tissues, and then put together a mock up of my RX in the office so that I could walk around and give it a try. We ended up walking out onto the back porch of the office and I reveled in the ability to actually see a mile down the street. She smiled the whole time and was happy to let me take it in. I finally told her what my previous eye doctor said and she apologized for that experience (even though it wasnt her office!!) and told me that if I ever had issues I was free to speak up.When it was all said and done I got my new, correct, RX and was on my way.I cannot speak highly enough about the care and compassion of the staff at this clinic.

Our whole family uses Summit/Dr Kennedy. We are so pleased with the service and care we receive. Dr Kennedy is always super friendly and so helpful at answering questions. He truly cares about our family and how we are doing. He is great with all ages from young children to teens to adults! I can’t recommend him enouhg!

Son had to get a couple new pairs of glasses and was very unsure on what style would look good on him. Summit’s staff helped him pick out frames that look great and were reasonably priced. Quick turn around on getting them in as well. All around great experience.

I go to Summit Vision for my eye care and contact prescriptions because I receive great attention and care there. Dr. Kennedy gets my contact prescription right the first time, and he makes helpful recommendations as I have needed bifocal lenses and supplemental glasses for computer use. The staff is friendly and helpful and respectful. I highly recommend their office and staff.

As in the previous many years of optometry service to me, Dr. Kennedy and his competent staff deliver excellent, professional and courteous care and total vision evaluation. Dr. Kennedy is aided by advanced technologic tools in optometry, and he readily communicates his findings to the patient. I have received the most professional care over the years including refraction correction with glasses and contact lenses, pre- and post surgical evaluation, and periodic scheduled eye health care.

I have consistently had a great experience dealing with Dr. Kennedy and his staff. Everyone is friendly and incredibly helpful. Dr. Kennedy does an excellent job of explaining why you need a particular correction and showing you how your eyes are functioning. Horrible client service!!!!!!!!!!I drove my mom 40 minutes to get her glasses. We came to the door and the person in charge had a major attitude problem said it would be 5 mins and to wait. 20 minutes later we are still sitting in the car. We called and they didn’t answer even though they are there. We left a message. It’s been 3 days and we have still not received a call from them. Should we still wait in our car for 12 hours? We left after 30 mins. Horrible customer service! I guess they didn’t need our $800 we were planning on spending. Waste of time and a trip. I don’t recommend this place they don’t seem like they know what their doing during the pandemic and don’t value hard working clients who take the day off to see them. Never again.

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Kennedy for almost 30 years. He has provided the best vision care to all 4 of us over the years, even when my children were very young. He is knowledgeable, thorough, courteous, and his pricing has always been competitive. We will stick with him for another 30 years, even though it means driving 30 minutes from home to do so. I absolutely love summit vision care, upon finding them I knew it was the place for me. I was not yet a patient at the time & they made a last minute appointment to see me that evening for an eye infection. Once I finally made an appointment the gals at the front desk were helpful and willing to answer a slew of questions I had for the . Which they had all the answers to! The pre exam in the doctors visit was both thorough and involved I was asked questions on the present and the past. Things were explained on a level which I could understand, without needing a dictionary! Larry the optician is excellent. He is both detail oriented and professional. He is very experienced in what he is doing & it shows, he spent well over 20 minutes adjusting and re-adjusting my glasses to make sure they fit perfectly, having OCD can make this a difficult task and he handled it with patience and grace.

I highly recommend Summit Vision Care! After Lasik and PRK, my eyes now need a little boost. My former eye doctor told me I would be difficult to fit and immediately wanted to put me in bifocals. Absolutely NOT! Dr. Kennedy was more than patient and willing to fit me for a contact lens. The trial lens I had for a week was pretty good, but my custom one is amazing. I hardly know I am wearing it and the vision is spectacular, best Ive seen in years. The office staff at Summit Vision Care is friendly, professional, and caring. I felt that everyone truly had my best interest and heart and wanted my vision to be the sharpest and clearest it could be. I am thrilled with my results!!

Great experience with Dr, Kennedy and his staff. Very detailed exam and very nice and welcoming. My 7 year old was very nervous about going to the eye doctor and Dr. Kennedy made him feel at ease. He got a little stuffed animal from their prize box and he was thrilled and still is sleeping with it every night almost week later. Very family friendly!
