I grew up enjoying these chocolates as a kid. Anytimr I find myself close by I always stop by and pick up my favorites! Still top quality chocolates and a nice variety to choose from. Best sponge candy!

Delicious product. Tried something new....sponge candy. Would have been better if the enrobing lline would have been operating during the tour. We didnt really see anything.

Found this gem of a place on visiterie.com.......stopped in to see what it was all about, awesome place with homemade chocolates.....the staff were friendly and informative....Will stop again when I am back in area! Very very clean as well

After visiting the zoo we took our grandson here for a visit and he picked up a chocolate dinosaur my wife and I also picked up some chocolate. For me the pictures of the history of Pulakos over the years are great. We will be back

Its been my favorite for over 60 years. Dark or Milk chocolate...its all great.I stopped in just before closing on a Friday evening and the lady couldnt have treated me any nicer.

As a sponge candy enthusiast, I have to say that Pulakos is the best tasting out of the Erie assortments. The sponge is light and airy and is covered with the just right amount of chocolate! The Other guys tend to be too hard and are covered in too much chocolate. (If there is such a thing!)It seems like I used to be able to buy grapefruit flavored fruit jelly slices. That was many years ago. I miss that flavor.

I live in Florida, but every thanksgiving and summer I come to visit family and we always come to pulako’s to get some chocolate covered strawberries. You should really check it out, they have the best chocolate in the tri-state area!

Fast and organized, parking lot is tight

We just did a very impromptu tour (with our 6 year old), that was great! Very cool to get a glimpse into the behind the scenes of the chocolate factory, learn some history, and tidbits about the current trends in chocolate --The vintage 100 year old+ machinery used to make these goodies was fascinating.The chocolate itself is wonderful - The chocolate covered pretzels are the best weve had. We left with some moulded milk chocolate, a sampler to share with our family, and some of the founders original creations.The staff were all very friendly and kind - we would definitely stop in again!

I have been going to Pulakos Chocolates for many years. They never disappoint! Friendly and helpful staff. Most delicious candy I have ever had. Im not a fan of the chocolate covered raspberries, may be a texture thing. However the chocolate covered strawberries are out of this world! Must try Pulakos! They have been in business since 1903. So if you have been in business that long you are doing something right!

Pulakos Chocolates have been around for a very long time. With that said it is the reason we keep going back for Holidays and Birthday Gifts and Just to treat ourselves. The Employees are very knowledgeable and so helpful. Sometimes I just stop in to purchase a candy bar cause the chocolate is that good. Highly Recommended by My Family. According to my neighbor, a WW2 veteran who recently died, Mr Pulakos was a champion swimmer as well as a WW2 veteran. His service to our country involved fishing bodies out of the water after the invasion of Normandy. A true local hero. And the chocolate is delicious! Better than flowers, there is a type of chocolate for everyone in this store. I’ve bought many assortments here and they never fail to please.

Pulako’s totally rocks!! We came to get a last minute gift on Christmas Eve just as they were waking out the door, and were beyond amazing helping us out!! We came all the way from Cleveland and were not disappointed!

Nothing like it. Blows the other local brands out of the water. So grateful they are still open, cant imagine being unable to get my Easter, and other special occasion chocolates, anywhere else.

This is the best chocolate in the world! The milk chocolate gas just a hint of darker chocolate taste in it. Its subtle but there. If I have been undecided of the candies (filled, cream, etc) they have always let me try a sample. And dont get me in the other candy. The gummies are fresher and better than anything you can get in any store. Jelly beans, especially the pectins,delicious. Shadow and stars are awesome! Romalos and Steffinellis have an initial creaminess, probably tempering style to get it to melt more quickly or something. The sweeteness gets enhanced quickly. 1 or 2 prices and Ive got all the set Im going to want, but that semisweet or whatever the secret combination of ingredients sets it apart. I can say that I have eaten a good bit of Pulakos, but, shortly, after I am back for more. I, usually, buy a few dozen to last me a while until I get back into Erie. Within 7-10 days they are gone. I have been all over the county with many different local companies. NOTHING IS BETTER THAN PULLAKOS!

There are several good chocolatiers in Erie. But theres only one great one. (its Pulakos) Not only is their quality noticeably better than the other places, the staff is friendly and cheerful every time Ive been in. Will always recommend.
