Was having major phone issues. Verizon kept wanting to troubleshoot digitally. But I needed a new SIM Card. Verizon had me make an appointment.Store personal was great..friendly...helpful. Courteous.Wishing I had just gone to the store first.4 stars...I always find it annoying when the ppl wear there badges so you cant read them.
Paige and the other staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us resolve a complex issue. She offered patience and also demonstrated competency to help us resolve an issue that had frustrated us for a week. Thanks so much!
One of the best experiences buying a phone ice ever had.
We got there close to closing and Sean stayed past closing to help us out! The customer service we got from Sean was excellent!
I tried to buy a phone at the Verizon wireless store and was working with a lady who seemed more than competent and plenty helpful. When I asked how big the Pixel was (that she already checked to see if it was in stock and it was) she gave me the screen size. I tried to explain the screen size means nothing I wanted know the size of the phone compared to my previous Pixel (that was broke or else Id look it up myself). Before she got a chance to answer her coworker aka Napoleon said in the rudest way he could that they had a contract with Samsung and Apple and if I wanted something else to go to Best Buy or Walmart. I left and will never return.
True disappointment takes advantage of older people very unprofessional upper a Peach is the best store in town never have had a problem!
The battery in my phone died on a Sunday afternoon (actually, it had been gasping for a few days). While I waited for my new-used phone to update, I was able to be “the fly on the wall” and watch how the employees interacted with customers, and addressed all of their various needs. Not only was I treated very well, everyone who entered the store was greeted immediately, and had their needs met with a very generous attitude. I am an admitted techno-idiot, but was never made to feel like anything but a valuable customer, especially by Jordan, Hannah, and Nick.
Efficient staff. Worked.
We just discovered an issue where our BOGO deal promo wasn’t applied, and we realized we’d actually been paying for both new phones for over a year. Jon was able to sort everything out for us when the customer service line was unable to help. He was able to give us a huge credit, plus changed our plan to give us more features while saving us even more on our monthly bill. Thanks so much, Jon!
Went in for a phone issue. While I was there I purchased a cover for my IPhone. The cover cost $43.00. Walmart cost $6.64 for a comparable cover. I knew I was getting taken but never thought it would be to this extent. They should be ashamed of themselves! BUYER BEWARE!!
As always my experience with my local Verizon store is awesome. They are so courtesy. Usually I am stopping in for help to get my phone back on track .... no matter how small the problem they take their time and explain. Today Matt was great. Took care of my problem. Great!!!!..
Sean and Jordan went above and beyond to take care of my issues with tablet. great customer service, answered my questions, offered options.
My husband and I just came in to upgrade both of our phones, they were busy so we walked around and browsed for awhile. Not one person greeted us or checked us in but every person that proceeded to come in after us was properly greeted and waited on. My husband asked the gentleman after watching us get skipped multiple times if we could just simply come in and we were ignored for the people after us. It was really frustrating . We’re now on our way to a different Verizon.
I had to wait an hour to be seen. When I finally got assistance, the person who helped me was kind, courteous and helped clarify my issues. The store needs more employees available. I had 6 customers behind me and one left after the frustratingly long wait.
Paige was very helpful when we had to close my sisters account due to her passing. Thank you for being so helpful and sympathetic during this time.
It was busy and waited about 15 minutes. Greeter at the door was polite. Manager spent time showing me different plans and options to answer my questions. This is my favorite Verizon store. The cost of phones were no longer listed with the phones as they were in the past.
Staff are friendly and helpful but this is an incredibly busy location. You have to put your name in a queue and if youre not there when your name is called they move on. Ive had to spend a lot of time waiting. I wish they did reservations or text alerts. Once you do get help the employees are great though.
The young man who waited on us was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all questions.
I had a great experience on my recent visit to Verizon. Alicia was my salesperson and she was patient, polite and knowledgeable . Not pushy at all. Alena was very helpful as well..I went there to purchase a new phone. I received that, as well as the friendly service that I feel outweighs the sales etc. I feel that they are just doing their job and (I) as the consumer. can make the choice to either accept their deals or reject them.I chose the particular Verizon store because I always receive greatservice there.
I opened an account for just myself here and they told me I had to get this device called Hum which plugs into my car and charges me extra $10 a month. I was charged a fee for this item on my first bill and then after calling customer service, they tell me I dont need to have to this device so now i try to get the device off my account and for it to stop charging me. Well the store is now telling me that they wont return it and if I get it deactivated i will be charged $120.... so because I was forced into purchasing something, I am having to pay the price somehow. I regret not doing my research before trusting the employees.
Ive finally learned how to use the Verizon Wireless retail store properly. The key is to treat the entire store as if it were more of a pickup and distribution warehouse instead of a complete retail experience. To clarify, this Erie Verizon Wireless store is absolutely a retail store environment, great for quick trips to snag things like chargers and speakers and other various gadgets. Most folks, however, will simply fall victim to a long wait time by walking in without an appointment, or any idea of their needs. This causes frustration and waiting and what amounts to a small contract negotiation happening over the counter. Dont be fooled: this is a waste of your time! Call ahead. Order ahead. Think about your needs beforehand. You will end up much happier in the long run.I find its truly best to either use their website, mobile app or corporate phone system first - and then follow-through with a visit to the retail store after handling the device contract nonsense. By doing this, you basically jump to the very front of a usually crowded line because they can get you in and out without any real discussion. The staff at this location is typically very good at what they do, too, often providing helpful insights with the latest device, but what they can not do is offer some sort of workaround to the corporate policies. Folks, its is not 2003 anymore. You cant haggle and they cant do something special for you. Cone to grip with this reality, call the 800-number first, use in-store pickup and then watch how much more you end up enjoying your visit to Verizon Wireless in Erie. :)
Always have the ability to right whatever Ive screwed up. Very good team for your every need.
Just bad customer service. Was getting a new phone, they sold me everything they could but said they do not transfer all the data from the old phone they the new. Sent me home saying follow the instructions on the new phone and switch the SIM cards.Let’s just say nothing worked correctly and it took 2 days to sort out. Found out that other VERIZON stores that are locally owned do all this for you. Will not be back to this store. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with his store.
Depending on the employee you might get a good experience or an awful one. Some employees seem to enjoy helping you while other want to sell you whatever phone the store is pushing that month. On top of the awful service some employees actually seem to not know anything about phones or how to install screen protectors. I recommend buying and dealing with customer service online or visiting a store like complete wireless in the Yorktown plaza.
They quoted my wife a price for a monthly bill if she got a new phone. Even put it in writing then the next bill came it was $140 more. Then the next bill shows up and it is $70 more then what their written quote was. Went to the store twice for over 2 hours each time and called the customer care line waited for over an hour to speak to some one. They said it was pro rating the previous plan and some other BS. They told us we forgot to tell you that you need autopay turned and you need a ghost line and then they insured the ghost line. The staff are full of lies and BS. If I could give a negative star rating I would. They ran a total bait and switch. Would not honor there written quote. I contacted the attorney generals office and the better business bureau.
Very poor customer service, poorly managed and the staff are very unprofessional and blantanly refuses to help customers that have legitimate issues with their phones. I would never set foot into that Verizon location again. The ignorance of the staff just baffles me and what baffles me even more is how they are able to get away with such bad customer service. This store is a joke and Verizon as a company is a joke None of you care about your customers as a corporation. Your company makes false accusations against people. And I will whole heatedly make sure everyone knows that.
Service is always superb! The young staff are friendly, patient and polite. I am phone tech challenged therefore stop frequently. The staff are always tolerant and understanding and walk me through.
My phone stopped ringing on Tuesday...the tech checked it out to be sure I did not do something stupid....new phone on the way tomorrow. Great service and very kind.
Always easy to work with. Not the cheapest cell phone service but definitely the best!
John and the staff are by far the best. I have over heard other reps there with customers . They all do a great job.
I prefer Verizon on upper Peach. This store is always crowded. I just needed a phone charger and they were going to give me a number. I tried to find it on the shelf with no luck. They had to go in the back to retrieve one. I then used the self pay kiosk which was not user friendly. I ended up paying 40 bucks for a charger! I was out of town and desperate so I bought it
Jenna was very professional, knowledgeable, and NICE! Oh ..And patient. Because we dont always understand the plans she explained things well. My Daughter bought a new iPhone and we up dated our plan. Thank you Jenna :)
Great job Sean!
Prices are to high I went to at&t and got away better deal
The tech helped us get my mothers phone fixed turned out to be her sim card and also helped me with my bill very helpful.
The girl was very nice, and helped me get my phone working again. It had been shut off by the fraud dept, it was a mess, I lost 3 days of service due to this and had to reactivate a old phone, costing me money, also had to drive 30 miles to the Verizon store,to get this fixed. Not happy, this mistake has cost me a lot of money, I didnt need to spend. And I feel I should get some type of credit on my account, for all this inconvenience.
Some of their staff members needs more training!! We had to return to the store several times to get problems solved!! I love the product but they need help in training them!!
Big shout out to James Leroy for being so friendly and helpful!
They got me in an out which was awesome Id give their customer service 5 stars just because it was the 4th of July an I didnt think they were open but gave 3 stars due to my cell phone bill every month.
Met with Steve, who was so knowledgeable and kind. Store was clean, all staff was friendly.
Great service when you finally get waited on. Good job installing protective glass cover.
We drive from Ashtabula, OH to Erie, PA just to deal with them...they are great!
Got new phone in September. Was told that my bill would only increase 40 dollars well was lied to it went up over 300 dollars was even told this by the female manager. I would not recommend this store to my grandmother. Oh yeah and waited over an hour to see this fast talking associate then three hours later was out the door. I am contacting the better business bureau about this. Just found out they charged me for three cases that I never purchased and three screen protectors when I got two. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS
Ive been waiting for 45 minutes now so I figured Id take this time to write a review of this store. I completely understand that its the holidays and the store is busy but Im coming in to buy a gift card. Ive been waiting 45 minutes to buy a gift card! Thats insane, theres no way it takes that long to ring me out for a gift card. You mean to tell me that not one of your employees could take a couple minutes to do that. Just shows that no one working here has any common sense. Thanks for wasting my time
The charging port of my phone overheated and melted. It rendered the phone unable to charge. They were very helpful in identifying the problem and as a result replaced my phone without hassle. A new phone was shipped to me within one business day. Matter of fact, Im writing this review on the new phone!
You cant trust the representatives. They do whatever they can to schmooze and deceive you into spending more money than necessary. They lied to my face and told me Id be spending only 3 dollars more for unlimited data, when in fact Ill be spending $40+ more than I would be sticking to 5GB. On top of this, for whatever sketchy reason, they changed my payment history to make it look like I paid part of my last bill earlier than I normally do with autopay.Totally and utterly unacceptable business practices. They are not there for the benefit of the customer. I will be returning to get answers, and ask them why I should be sticking with Verizon after this outrageous incident.
Lizz is the best, if you go here make sure you get her as you associate; she’ll make everything easier.
Friendly staff. Very helpful and kind.
We have an unresolved problem still. They overcharged me over 200.00 & still have not corrected it. This has been going on since the end of March. Im ready to contact the BBBCalled the store again. They still dont know what I was overcharged for & refuse to take the charge off. If you go there check your receipts very carefully before you leave.Ok Mr. Owner how do you suggest we turn this around? I talked to Verizon for 2 hours today. They tried to call your store three times but was never answered. He told me to go back to your store & tell them I want to talk to a manager. He said he cant make any sense of the billing. So I will be back up & Im not leaving till I talk to a manager. Not the assistant manager Tiffany eaither. One phone with her was enough.
Before I went with Verizon I was getting all the information about their plan and how much it would be and got told a price I would pay for the phone and the plan. Got my first bill and of course it had an activation fee but still wasnt adding up went in and they told me my bill was right and basically lied about the price in the beginning. Then went over .01 gigs in a week didnt think that was possible so I went up and asked got told it was getting rolled over. Then got my bill and charged an extra 25 dollars for going over. Not pleased with the service at all and dont recommend this service to anyone.
This Verizon and the one on peach street both suck Ive been having non stop issues with my phones and they keep telling me its the software and to give it a couple days but its to the point I cant even use my phone bc it stops working and freezes. The workers are nice but they dont ever wanna help you when you go in and they dont ever believe that there is an actual problem next time Im just going to call corporate and see if tney can help.
I will never return to this store again. When I went in I was looking to upgrade my phone.i had been online looking at phones so I had a few in mind. When I had talked to Verizon customer service over the phone they had given me a price and a few discounts on the phones. But I thought I would try the store to see what they had to offer. So as I talked to the female sale asassociate and told her what I had been offered by the Verizon customer service on the phone she chuckled and said Verizon doesnt make deals like that. As I was asking her about the 2 phone I was intrested in I got the feeling I was wasting her time. So at this time I just decided to leave and make the purchase over the phone. All the lady needed to say is I cant offer you that same deal and I would of understood. Heres the real problem. Before I left I went to the front counter to pay my bill. The lady that waited on me did not realize I was still there and was standing off to the side of the counter and started talking about me to another associate. She had her back to me and didnt realizes I was standing 4 feet from her. But the Male staff member did and kind of motioned to her and he walk over to me and tried to play it off and asked me if he could help me. When the female staff memeber turned around an realize I was still there her jaw dropped and she walked away. I wish I got her name because I would of filed a formal complaint and would post it here. So in closing if I could give a 1/2 star I would....Oh ya and Verizon customer service by phone made me a great deal on a phone waived all the fees and shipping.
Terrible service.A month after buying a new phone the screen protecter cracked. They told me they would replace it in store. I drove 30 minutes there. I got checked in. I told them about the screen. They said i needed to do it online but they would replace it in the store since they told me they would when i bought it. After waiting about 20 minutes, they came over and told me it has to be reordered online and they will not replace it in the store.UMMM WHAT? they made me waste time, gas money, and my patronage. Ive been a customer for 10+ years. Im sick of the way the stores treat the customers. If the rep didnt know when i checked in, he shouldnt have said anything.I had to call a verizon rep. They normally help me out since i always seem to have such terrible service elsewhere. Pretty sad.
Friendly and quick service picking up a phone from internet order.
Store service was great but when you had to call in other numbers to get things done it sucked thinking of going to AT&T
Very helpful and good customer service
They were great, got my wife and I all set up and didnt mind my kids running around like crazy people
My boyfriend bought an I pad pro on friday, January 26th from the Verizon store in meadville (which is a corporate store). We had the I pad pro a day and went to the Verizon on edinboro rd on saturday, january 27th to exchange the I pad for a Samsung galaxy tab s3. The guy who helped us (brownish hair, average height, looked somewhat like a gym bro) checked to see if any were in stock. He told us the tab s3s were not in stock but stated a tab E would work and is available right now. My boyfriend told him we were not interested and had to retell him we were looking to purchase the S3. I mentioned to my boyfriend there was a galaxy S3 in stock at best buy. After I mentioned best buy, the Verizon staff member told us we had to take the tablet back to best buy, because they had to exchange one tablet for another. The whole explanation was very confusing and i couldnt understand why we just couldnt take the ipad back and then purchase a tab s3 elsewhere. The staff member also kept bringing up purchasing accessories during the process which made the explanation even more confusing. We stated we were going to try at best buy and he pushed us to buy accessories before we left, because we wouldnt get a discount at best buy. We told him we would be back for Moes and traveled to best buy. At best buy, we were told they could not return the tablet, because we did not purchase it there and they were a third party. They recommended we travel to the Verizon in the summit towne center, because of our difficulties. We explained to the summit Verizon store the issues we had been having and the the staff member ( built like a line backer, tall, beard, looks like a country boy) was very helpful and returned the ipad pro for us. He checked to see if any tab s3s were in stock for us. They werent, so we did end up making the decision to purchase the tablet at best buy ( we didnt feel comfortable with it being shipped). This staff member was extremely helpful and did not try to push us to buy a different tablet or additional accessories. Because of this 4 HOUR PROCESS, I do not think we will return to the edinboro road store.
Relatively long wait, but worth the great service - probably why the wait was about 15 minutes! Thank you!
Terrible customer service, most of the sales representatives try to insult your intelligence the entire visit. Place is a joke.
Tried two times with the Verizon store to no success. They told me to call Apple support...did call apple no success. Called store back and talked to Shanae at the Verizon Store....fixed it in two minutes over the phone. Five STARS go to Shanae.......THANK YOU
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES. The manager will text you after you leave but wont address any problems. I had to go in twice to get my phone looked at to make sure there was no water damage to get it sent back because the speaker phone did not work. When they realize you arent purchasing something they are rude. The second time i took it in for them to order a new one I had a tiny crack in my screen protector. The girl said she had to make sure the screen wasnt cracked. (As if that would ruin the speaker phone feature) ... SHE PULLED THE WHOLE THING OFF AND CRACKED IT IN HALF. She didnt even acknowledge it. So I figured one would come with the new phone. So now I have to go buy a new $30 screen protector because they sold me a junk phone. This is all after the short dark haired girl had to go home instead of finishing my wifes photo transfer when we bought the phones originally . When the manager texted me after I left both times, he answered questions about aps. But when I told him about my wifes 700 missing photos of our 2 year old, no response. This time when I told him about his employee cracking my screen protector, nothing. If you have to go there, see Ken. Or go find Gouldthorpe!
Unethical sales representatives. Upgraded from personal to business and told me the Hum was free which was not the case. Representative did not return my call when I questioned the bill.
Been sitting here for well over an hour, really not even very busy. Nobody greeted me or told me I had to put my name in a queue when I got here. 2 Staff members standing around not helping anyone. What should have taken me 30 minutes is turning into a 2 hour ordeal
All I wanted to know was whether an otter box was in stock or not and I couldnt get through the automated prompt. Its ridiculous.
Awesome service. Ask for Dannielle, shes the best.
Wonderful just wonderful, fast and easy
Friendly service and helpful
Service after the sale is terrible!
Have to wait a long time for service but you have they attention after that
Great customer service representative
To buy a case for my wife’s phone waited 30 min because there wasn’t any separate cashiers from the sales people.
Horribly pushy sales person by the name of Rona. She directly lied to us telling us that we could not purchase a new phone without purchasing over $100 in accessories. I left the store extremely dissatisfied. Went up the road to another verizon store on peach. AVOID RONA. SHE IS DISHONEST AND PUSHY. THE WORST SALES EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
Slowest store on the face of the Earth.3 people holding clipboards and all I need is a screen protector. So I have to wait for the one person qualified to sell me one!? Poor management on someones part.
Grr for their prices but great signal
Tried to call the interchange location. No one picks up
Ask for Woody. The best!!
Waited an hour to talk to someone and ended up leaving.
Only here to sell you something. Manager was very rude and twice now I have not gotten my phone the next day as promised. Instead had to go back in 2 days later and request it actually be sent.
Never have had a bad experience here
The general manage is a very rude, dishonest person. Please avoid this store. They sold customer crappy product with their crappy personality.
Wow, this guy went the extra mile for me. Above & beyond.
Great customer service
I was raised on the principle that if you dont have anything nice to say not to say anything... enough said.
Was a good visit not to busy . Found a phone but like everywhere else so expensive.
Destroy the night goes here is on Peach Street. There is everything there you could ever need for your Wireless Communications
Very helpful.
Was in and out synchronizing a phone in less than 15 min.
Pushy and unpleasant salespeople especially little miss thing who thinks shes all that and a bag of doughnuts
Never was greeted or if I needed help was there 25 min
Worse place ever they lie even in writing !!!!!!
Very kind pple
Very poor service and no answers
Very rude female working their.
