Westlake Auto has been my go to for the last 2 years. Mike is one of the most respectful and humblest person I have ever met. He has helped me through everything minor to major repairs like transmission problems. He is fair and honest. The service here is fast and immaculate. I highly recommend Westlake Auto for any needs or concerns you have. You also cant beat the fact that you are supporting a local business here in Erie. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Me and my dad have been going to them for a few years now, they know their stuff. Mike is very helpful and respectful and his crew are the same way. They are truthful and don’t nickel and dime you, they get the job done and only do what they are asked and they don’t do anything extra without informing you and asking for permission first. I highly recommend them.

I paid over $900 for work and the work was never even done. I got it back with the same problems it had. They were also supposed to do a oil change but when they did they never put oil back in the vehicle. Luckily it made it to my house and I noticed because it was knocking… When I called them about it they were very unprofessional and rude I would not recommend to my worst enemy……

I started going because they’re right around the corner from my house and I was able to walk home after dropping my car off, but I also like supporting a local business. They beat the price from the dealership, and the quality of work is good. I’ve gone there several times for repairs now, and I’ll be going back for my future repair needs.

Great company ran by honest mechanics who would rather have your repeat business than to scam you out of big bucks. At least one of the three co-owners/mechanics lives nearby, so youre not just a customer, youre a neighbor. They also know what theyre doing when it comes to hybrids and electric cars.

Great service, the can pick you up or take you back to work in their Tesla, and their prices are reasonable. Love to take my vehicles to Westlake!

Mike at Westlake Auto was AMAZING! I towed a Toyota Prius from south of Pittsburgh to Erie, on the recommendation of my sister, who has worked with them before. Strangely enough, you cant find anyone honest who specializes in hybrids south of Pittsburgh. Im so glad I made the trip up to Erie! Mike was wonderful and completely honest! He figured out the issue with the car right away, which no one here had been able to do! I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you have a hybrid! Dealerships are crazy expensive and arent always honest. Mike and Westlake Auto are everything a shop should be and more! If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!! :) Many thanks to him for the best experience with a shop that I have EVER had!!!

This place is amazing! They were a major help for my girlfriend and I on two separate occasions. Once this summer with an awesome deal on wheels and tires for her Forester, and second on helping us diagnose an electrical problem with her ABS. They are extremely knowledgeable on Subarus and honest. When it came to the electrical problem they diagnosed it by the evening and told us the truth about the issue and how it was not something to worry about. There was no attempt of selling us something we didnt need, and Mike was very helpful answering any of our questions. As long as my girlfriend is in Erie, we wont be taking her car anywhere else but here! 5 Stars Well Deserved!

I dont know a lot about cars but I certainly know about customer service; the guys at Westlake Auto Repair had me in and out in two minutes flat with my windshield wiper issue. They were extremely professional, timely, smart, and friendly. I will be taking my car here in the future for any further needs.

Was suggested this place by a friend. Wanted to try somewhere other than the dealership. Ended up having a terrible experience. Went in for a Oil change/ alignment, and something must have went wrong because when I drove away my car was squealing from the engine bay. I fly back to the shop and find that my belts were covered in oil, not to mention the entire engine bay. It would have been nice to let me know that they spilled oil everywhere than let me find it out on my own. The next day I’m driving to work and low and behold there’s smoke and that burning oil smell. Also there was oil dripping out of my headlights. Just ridiculous. I called them and they did offer to clean more of the oil up, but was honestly done trusting these guys. I’ve washed out my engine bay 3 times over the last month since it happened and still get the burning oil smell coming into the car. That’s what’s prompting this review. I hate to pitch such a negative view of a business, they seemed like nice people, but I just have to vent my frustration somewhere. Plus I never noticed a difference in the alignment, and the next week I took it to the dealership and it got it taken care of. Lesson learned.
