I have read a bunch of comments about work being done that was not authorized or poor quality, do you folks realize that when you take your car in they hand you a sheet of paper to sign that says what they will do because that is what you asked for? This place does good work with a decent turn around. Are they the Cheapest? No! Are they the most expensive? No! Even after you tell them what you want done they call you to inform you of what they found and their recommendations! Then do what YOU want them to do. Dont blame a company for either your lack of knowledge or inability to pay attention to what you are being told!

I had them do repairs in the past, questioned that. To call them to be a future customer the arrogance by the jackass on the phone and now his reply below? Yeah. I think that holds up with what I said about this place. The sad part is I understood what he meant by diagnostic - he failed to understand I was WANTING THEM to do a diagnostic. I was merely trying to explain what I have done, where I was at in the process and have them DO a diagnostics and go on from there and start repairs. Instead - he was short on the phone, thought I wanted on-phone support over the phone. What a tool. Then his arrogant reply below just makes them look worse... /FacePalm

Quality service and Support!Jason sold me a 2013 Subaru Impreza. Little over a month later the engine threw a rod. I should note that the engine failure is common in this particular year, make, and model of Subaru. So much so that it was under recall. I reached out to Jason and he did not hesitate to help me resolve the issue as he had already had it serviced before selling it to me. Because of his help I am happy to say that I have my car back in perfect working condition with a rebuilt engine and 0 out of pocket expenses!  Great customer service and support. Highly recommended!!

They damaged my car and didnt tell me I saw everything, and he never apologized or said anything to me about the damage and still charged me full price on a fix.

What Jason did to my car to make buck when he was clearly not equipped to do the job properly, should have a hefty fine attached to it. However, this review is the most I can do to warn others away. Was forced into making a call to Autolab when my 05 Xterra went down. Jason made it clear he was about 5 days out, but was happy to have the vehicle towed to Autolab. He was very up front with pricing and indicated he couldnt get a 100% clear answer for the problem after doing some diagnostics. Instead of throwing parts at the vehicle in hopes it would work, he and his crew fixed what they knew was wrong. He made it clear that I should call if anything happened. A week later, the vehicle went down again while driving, same issue. I called Jason and he got me in same day to troubleshoot. He isolated the problem (power steering pump leaking onto alternator, causing it to short and not keep a charge), kept me informed of pricing and the vehicle was ready one day later. The pump was re-manufactured (as all of them are) and failed while they were getting it ready for me to take home. Jason had to warranty the pump, causing a slight delay in finishing. He offered the use of his own personal vehicle to pick up my wife and get back to the shop. I dont know many people who enjoy going to a mechanic, but Jason and his crew took every effort to make it as painless as possible and went above my expectations of customer service. Would happily recommend Autolab to anyone.

I dont know much about cars and I hate feeling like Im getting ripped off of cheated. Lucky for me Auto Labs was a great find!! The team there is great and I felt like I had a very honest experience with them.Went in for an oil change and asked them to take a look at a noise I was hearing. They called me promptly after finding the issue and sent pictures of the items that needed fixing so I could see. Everything I 100% needed so I wouldnt find myself stranded on the side of the road was fixed within the day. They let me know of some other service that I should consider within the next x miles but it was not a pushy sales experience.Friendly and helpful service through the whole experience. They even have shuttle service should you need it.Hopefully I dont have to go in very often, but I know that when I do Ill be treated with amazing customer service and my car will be in the best of hands! Happy to have found my new auto shop!

Id like to start out by saying that Im completely aware that a shop may only be able to give you a rough estimate (if that) without a mechanic doing an inspection. I recently took my car to a shop and was told that it had a few issues. I was given a price quote and a detailed paper about what was to be done. Paper and quote in hand, I set out to make sure I wasnt being taken advantage of as I recently just moved here. Ive called a couple of places at this point, all going into detail about how they would need to inspect it to be sure, but still being able to give me a rough estimate on pricing should I bring it to that shop. Out of the shops Ive called, the pricing has been very similar. Only differing by $50. So I expected something similar when I called Autolab, but was in for a rude awakening. The receptionist decided that belittling the customer and down talking all other shops was the best way to handle it. I was given a quote of roughly $800-$900 for a single valve cover replacement, while every other shop quoted nothing above $300. When I tried to explain that the estimate seemed high as every other shop had been around $200-$300, and asked for a detailed break down of the charges, I was given attitude and told that other shops didnt know what they were doing, and that Autolab did it the correct way. Still, no explanation for the charges. I gave up after she continued with the attitude about how every other shop but Autolab didnt do things right. So, still not sure how the amount for the same issue more than doubled, and clearly wont find out as Autolab just insists on being right and berating those who question them. Even if the question is literally you asking them to break down the pricing and explain what is being done to your vehicle.If I could give zero stars, I would. Perhaps this is actually a great, trusted body shop, but many will never know due to the poor communication skills of your receptionist.

They sent me a thorough email with pictures and descriptions of everything that needed work on my car. They even told me what was urgent and what could wait. They lent me a loaner car so I wouldnt miss work while they fixed my car. I highly recommend Autolab!

I brought my SUV in for some fairly extensive work. Even though it wasnt cheap, Autolab was able to make it happen for less than anyone else I found. They are also very easy to schedule with and have been able to get me in whenever I wanted to come.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needed car work done. It isnt always easy to find a good mechanic, but the folks here know what they are doing and are transparent with their work and pricing!

Very disappointed in my experience (or lack thereof) with Autolab. My wife had an appointment on a Friday at 8:30am for an oil change, alignment, and inspection. The vehicle primarily needed service due to the alignment and likely needed tie-rods. She dropped off her car on time, and was not called until 4:30pm. They told us they wouldnt have time to look at the car, and wouldnt work on the weekend because good mechanics dont work weekends and offered for me to leave it until Monday or pick it up and bring it back Monday. They were going to do the oil change before closing for $99 (the oil was the least of my concerns). I did not agree to the oil change.My wife arranged to be without her car for the day and to be late for work. $20 worth of Ubers and an hour time later, no concessions were offered.The mechanic said that being short-staffed and unable to work on our car as scheduled was his problem, not ours. Too bad he made it our problem and not his.

Brought my car in after having trouble with an rack assembly install from another mechanic and wanted a second opinion. He did a thorough full inspection, which was not requested, but may be standard practice for this shop?I initially asked for what codes were triggering the maintenance light and why my rack assembly was bleeding power sterring fluid. Gave two opinions on the rack assembly, which is what I wanted to be focused on....Took it to a third mechanic who pinpointed the leak and solved the problem, a high pressure hose.To autolabs credit, he was very honest and explained everything to me. I just felt he jumped to conclusions without actually pinpointing the cause of the leak, so ended up being not as helpful.

Overall they have great customer service. They were very nice and the detailed report they sent me of all the services needed along with pictures was amazing. As I was checking out it took longer than expected due to some computer errors, which slowed things down significantly. However that was probably a one time thing so no biggie. All in all they were really great!

My most recent trip to Autolab was worth a review.... Daniel took very good care of me. He got me in for a same-day oil change in a limited amount of time. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable, which was great seeing as I had to get work done at the shop. Ill definitely be back after this visit. I highly recommend Autolab and their staff!

Absolutely incredible staff and communication. I had a transmission issue that was going to cost thousands of dollars, but they told me there was a far extended warranty on my 2011 Ford and that a dealership would fix it without additional charge! I am so grateful that my car problem didnt ruin me and that the staff here let me know even though they wouldnt do the repair because of it. Cant recommend enough.

We had an amazing experiance. At first, we couldnt really figure out was wrong with our van. The owner spent extra time with us. He came out and sat down with us. Trying to figure out what the van was doing. Through specific questions he figured out what it was. And we were only charged a small diagnostic fee for EVERYTHING. The tow, the work, the hours of trying to figure it out, all were included in the small fee. There was a genuine family vibe from everyone there. Our mechanic was so professional and sweet through the whole process. I was scared going in, but they are amazing and honest and caring.

Any woman who has gone to an average auto repair shop knows what its like to be talked down to and shrugged off by the male workers. So, as a woman who has often experienced this, it is wonderful to walk into a shop where the men working talk to you like you are an intelligent person. I have seldom in my life been so excited about a product or service that I wanted to tell all of my friends and family about it. I want to scream Auto Lab from the roof tops! I might be a cheese ball for saying so but Im self employed and run a Value-based business. The only people I want to do work with is other companies that operate their businesses on the same values that I have for mine. It was clear to me that the way these guys run their shop aligns exactly with some of the values that I run my company by- and believe in to my core. Just to name a few- Intentionality; they take pictures of everything that needs service and comes on the quote. No other shop does this. Youll never wonder if theyre selling you things you dont need. Empathy; Wiley called me and broke down the pricing and gave me his recommendation on what needs to be done in what time frame. He even told me that I could wait a year or two on some of the work without any major consequences. Not common practice by any auto shop Ive ever been to. I cant emphasize this enough, they treated me as a person! Not a transaction. Respectful. Easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable about cars and the things they need to run smoothly. Its plain to see theres purpose and thought put into all the things these guys do. Ill never go to another mechanic again, because what drives their company are core values and not dollar signs. Honestly the best auto shop I have ever been to. Great family owned atmosphere, and some of the nicest people you will ever work with. Not to mention their work is always to the highest standard, and priced very reasonably, especially for the quality of work you get. As long as I am in the Denver area there is no where else I would rather go.

I brought my car to Jason at auto lab with concerns I had about three lights that were on in my vehicle. I understood there would be a charge of over a hundred dollars for the diagnostics of my vehicle but was led to believe the repairs needed would be applied to the almost 200 dollars he was charging me to look at it at all. They did not. End of the day I paid him 300$ that he may have found a way to help me. All three lights are on again in hardly any time at all and as he told me to call him and bring it back he would take another look and I did call him. He felt as though my concerns of being charged even more for the problem to continue not being resolved was an off putting approach. He said I was rude when I simply asked if he would be able to see my car again and maybe not charge me like he did for there to be no solution. He hung up on me and was far more disrespectful to me before he did that after I said I felt taken advantage of. He took my money without doing anything for it and treated me in a way I could not fathom a business owner would.

These guys are awesome. Having just moved to the Denver Metro its a challenge to find reliable people to work on your car. Not only did Autolab charge a fair price, but they stayed open late to work on my car! The guys down there are awesome and did not try to upsell me on anything I did not need or ask for.

One of the hardest things to do as a car owner is to find a good, reasonable and honest mechanic. I have a car that is on the back end of its best years which makes most bad mechanics smell blood and charge you an arm and a leg. Greg fixed my faulty starter wire and walked me through what I needed to do to keep my car running well for the rest of my cars life. I will be taking it back for all of the repairs that it will need until its time to buy a new one. Thanks Greg!

The shop is located right around the corner from my house. My husband recently replaced his radiator there and had a solid interaction so recommended I go there to replace my headlight. I stopped in at 2:30 on Friday the owner told me to come back on Monday. I didn’t want to wait through the weekend afraid I’d get a ticket so I went to look at other places. Owner seemed tired and irritated. I went to jeep grand Cherokee and got an estimate for $140 to do it. I called Autolab to see if they would do it for about the same price and if it were cheaper I can do on Monday. When I told him that I was going to stick with jeep because it was the same price and they could do it today he hung up on me. I will never visit this place again.

My first visit. So far, so good - they did the oil change and installed a complicated low-beam front light in less than an hour. They seem genuinely concerned about the longevity of my car. And the waiting room has the most comfortable couch ever!! They are two brothers who operate a small business so I encourage you to try them instead of the corporate-run shops.

The guys at Autolab are extremely nice, go out of their way to help you, and are very honest and straight forward. I have had nothing but good a experience with Jason and the other employees. Plus, they have a very lovely dog (whose name escapes me) who keeps you company while you wait. Cant say enough good things about them!

Very quick and prompt with getting my car in and out for a simple oil change. They werent pushy either with trying to up sell on any extras I might have needed. The waiting area could use a little more polish as some clients might feel uncomfortable in that type of setting, but other than that my experience was good.

The shop has great customer service and were very precise on needed repairs and seem to do good work on all makes and models. If youre needing a new transmission or engine replaced or suspension work these are the guys to take it to. I highly recommend them and will be back for future repairs.

I just wanted to drop by and let everyone know how great Autolab is to work with.The problem with my car wasnt evident at first. I brought it to them not able to describe what the problem was. I told them the history of the car and what I was experiencing. Turns out they had to fix a fuel pump issue that I had fixed earlier in the year. The damage was extensive and they worked with me and made sure that I had my car (which I depended on for work).They are supremely professional. Especially in an industry where they are put under a lot of pressure. They work with you. The inspection supposed to take at least 2 hours, but the service team was such efficient that the job was done in a lesser time. I was provided with a detailed report including pictures of each inspection point requiring action. I have never seen something like that!!! The software they are using to do this is just amazing and it is pretty cool to have such option in your report sent to you via e-mail. I would definitively recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.

I brought in my lifted Jeep to get it fixed, and they have handled everything perfectly. They fixed my one problem in the first 30 minutes, and after having a conversation with Chris, they are putting some customized steering components on the Jeep as well! Everything is getting done at a very reasonable price and with a less than 1 day turn around, I could not be happier! Will definitely use them in the future.

The work done on my car including the oil change was done promptly and correctly. I have no complaints and I will continue to take my car to them for service. They are polite, friendly and informative.

Well I got hit with bait and switch. The owner Jason had won my business by offering a Honda timing belt and water pump for under a grand installed. He spent a bit of time telling me that is all he recommended due to reliability and his experience and he would give a three year warranty. Well those are not the parts I got as he RE quotes me on the phone to stay in budget. He put me in a tight spot and now I have to spend a lot of time and grief to resolve a dispute.

Not only was I given a false quote of how much it would cost to repair my car, the extra work was performed without my consent and the new quote with out my approval. I was charge dealership prices for used parts, and was doubled dipped on multiple occasions (this is where they charge you for labor for taking something apart, when it was already taken apart for another part of the vehicle that needed to be addressed. When confronted about all of this the owner became irate and aggressive and through me out of his shop. I have reported them to the better business bureau and have all of the documentation to prove these things. If you use them I hope they do treat you well but you better have a mechanic you trust double check their work to make sure.

As always honest and affordable fast an reliable what more can you ask for in this day an age. Jason always tells you what needs to be done what can wait and does his best to get you a fair price from the parts houses.I would give him 10 out of five Thank You Auto Lab

Really reliable and honest service. As a female I sometimes feel that I can get ripped off easily by some places. I dont get that feeling here and everything is always explained in full to me. The customer service is also out of this world. I wont go anywhere else for my routine maintenance on my CRV!

I turned it back into him for work only a few days after buying and he had replaced two of the engine coils. I left and had to bring it in again only a few days later and he had to fix a misrouted vacuum line. Once i left again and passed emissions, the check engine light came on again. After taking it to another mechanic I found the engine coil he replaced is failing. When I called him to have him fix his work he told me he didnt replace the engine coils with new ones but rather pulled them from the old engine and he was done working with me. I have never felt so screwed over before. I am a single mom going through nursing school and only working part time, I took out a hefty loan for this car only to be screwed over by the mechanic who replaced the engine and cant even have the integrity to fix his own work.Response from the owner2 hours agothat sounds horrible-how much did he charge you for repeated comebacks? Did you attempt to verbally abuse him over the telephone for his no cost to you remedies every time you returned? Well he sounds absolutely despicable! To a single mother no-doubt.......please spread the word! Especially to all those poor souls he volunteers time to within the local community! Sheesh! You took an engine coil from a blown engine to fix the problem. Your community work has nothing to do with this deal; I’m not sure why that was even brought up. I came in today and got taken care of without any wait. Danny took his time to find out just what I needed, made me feel really comfortable bringing my new car in for its first oil change. I enjoy giving my business to local entrepreneurs. I highly recommend anyone bringing their vehicle in and knowing its in great hands!

I found Jason very responsive in getting a pre-purchase inspection done on the prospective Porsche. The inspection was done promptly and was helpful. I then asked about doing some service on the vehicle after my purchase and the estimate was higher than the dealership for a 60K service. I would have expected this shop to be lower than the dealer. I enjoyed working with the shop.

I have had Autolab do work on my truck twice. Both times everyone has been more than courteous. They have asked if I needed a ride anywhere and have offered me a vehicle to run around while they worked on my truck. Mando even gave me his extra Starbucks drink!I have never had a high opinion of any auto repair place as I have always had the experience of being taken advantage of in price and repairs that were not necessary. That isnt the case with Autolab. They have done an excellent and speedy job with repairs on my truck at a reasonable price and definitely earned my trust.I work in a business where the only thing that sets us apart from other like businesses is service and trustworthiness. I think the auto repair business would be the same and in my opinion Autolab has earned that distinction. I highly recommend them to anyone, you wont be sorry!
