I was happy with the few expensive appliances purchased at BAC until the time came for some service. Wanting to take no chances with my Subzero refrigerator during a recent remodel, I paid BAC handsomely to move it out into my garage -- told all the while that theyre experts and everything would be done right. Of course, I also had them move it back into my newly-remodeled kitchen (for another tidy sum). When turning everything back on, the installer (who was the same guy, James, who had uninstalled it and remembered doing so) found that the water pump had frozen and burst -- and quickly blamed me for not having winterized it, despite having explicitly assured me that it would be fine.He offered to replace the pump, if I went out and got the part -- which I hesitantly tracked down and purchased (my GC has a relationship with BAC) the same day. A month later, Id heard nothing from him or about when hed be back out -- despite him having left without finishing the installation and promising to return within a week.Having given up on trying to contact James, I finally called BAC and spoke with Allison, whod previously been very helpful (when setting up the uninstall/reinstall services). She was under the impression that the order completed long ago, and offered to help fix things, if I sent her my proof of purchase and fridge model/serial number... which I again did on the same day.The reason for my one-star review? Ive not heard back from Allison since, and neither my calls nor emails are getting returned. When paying a premium for appliances and service, I expect better. And BAC doesnt seem to care.

I just made another purchase from BAC. This time, I bought a washer/dryer set and worked with Erik Fretheim, who was amazing, and I cannot recommend Erik and BAC enough. He was very responsive, knew exactly what I was looking for and I really appreciate his professionalism and knowledge. Everything went exactly as anticipated. The delivery and installation were equally fantastic, I could not be more pleased! The Speed-Queen w/d that I purchased are also PHENOMENAL! Thanks again, BAC! Erik, you are awesome!

We bought a range hood from this place over a month ago. Was supposed to come in in mid-June. I called the number on the website multiple times to find out the status of the hood because I had a contractor scheduled to install it. I also called the salesperson that had handled the transaction. No one would call me back. Finally, I drove to the store, where the receptionist was rude and insisted that I had not left any messages because she always returns calls. She called the salesperson to see if the salesperson would have time to see me. Fortunately, she had a few minutes before her next appointment. She came out and told me that they had received the range hood almost a week ago. She acted surprised that no one had called me. Horrid customer service. I wont go there again.

I bought a washer and dryer here for my hair salon a couple years ago. I chose BAC because they were one of the few companies to offer a commercial appliance warranty, at an extra cost. Recently the door on the washer wouldn’t close so I called for repair. I gave BAC my information and was told another company would contact me for repair. No one called back. I called BAC two more times and still no call from the repair company or no follow up call from BAC. I spent $100 of my own money for parts to repair the door. When I originally bought the washer and dryer they delivered a electric dryer when I order a gas dryer so I was doing laundry from a busy hair salon at home. I took over a week to get the proper dryer delivered. I’ll never do business with BAC again and highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Recently, my wife and I had a great experience with Erik Fretheim at the Builders Appliance Center. We built a home a few years ago and purchased all of our appliances through Eric at BAC. Eric was great to work with then and he is still the best. Without going into detail, we had an issue with our double wall oven recently, Eric took care of the problem and handled it immediately. He was the utmost professional. These days it can be a challenge to find good customer service. Eric is the best and I highly recommend him as a great person to deal with when when making decisions on your appliance needs.

We are doing a full house remodel and our designer recommended Erik at BAC. Erik was extremely informative, demod product operation and offered insights into manufacturers and the level of customer service they provide. The showroom certainly didnt have every item we were interested in, havent met one that did when they offer multiple manufacturers, but it has sufficient examples to get a very solid idea what wed be buying and that was sufficient. Erik spent plenty of time with us and checked that wed gotten all the info we wanted on the way out.

When you pull up you immediately feel uneasy. Figuring out which door you are suppose to use is confusing. The interior of the showroom was worn out and VERY dated. I was greeted by a condescending office manager who told me I needed to wait and that I wasn’t wearing my mask correctly. The sales people were aggressive and presumptuous. I overheard a saleswoman walking by ask the couple she was showing around how much their house was worth. The salesman I had an appointment with kept calling me the wrong name and was less than helpful. Needless to say, I won’t be buying the 12 appliances I need for my new home from them.

Paul Sage was great to work with from the beginning - he was not pushy and consultative. We did have a few hiccups on the install, but, Paul and his team were able to resolve those issues quickly and he continued to work with us until the job was done and we were satisfied. In addition to getting all of our kitchen appliances there we also purchased our sink, which we love. Would recommend working with Paul - hes on top of it.

Great buying experience for a $23,000 Thermador appliance package and then when things went wrong with a $2,300 dishwasher no support from them. Nothing like a door that falls off because of a bad install from their crew and now standing water in the dishwasher to refer and take my business elsewhere. The one great thing about buying Thermador (a BOSCH-brand) Alliancr from them - cocktails 🍹 with the service tech on a regular basis! 😂!!!!

Please Do Not Patronize BAC Appliance CenterI ran a business at the north end of the parking lot now belonging to BAC Appliance Center for more than ten years. The business was Denver House of Cards, which ran duplicate bridge games for the public. The parking lot was owned by Red & Jerry’s until earlier this year. We often needed additional parking, and the owners of Red & Jerry’s were very accommodating in letting us use a small portion of the huge parking lot. When Red & Jerry’s closed and sold the building, it soon became apparent that at some point in time we would lose our parking privileges. We were in the process of relocating, when we received an edict from BAC Appliance Center, the new owners of the lot, that any of our customers that parked in their lot would have their cars towed. The edict was received on November 1. I asked their representative if we could park approximately twenty cars there two more days (November 3 and November 7), as our last game would be November 9. On November 6, we were told once again that our customer’s cars would be towed if they parked in this lot, ‘because they would interfere with construction trucks’.The attached picture was taken at noon on November 7. Judge for yourself how much interference would be caused by twenty-some cars parked on the west side of the lot. This should tell you what kind of people own and run BAC Appliance Center. Their arrogance caused serious inconvenience for a number of our customers, many of whom are in their eighties and even nineties. While BAC had every right to do what they did, you can judge for yourself whether there was a reason to do so and whether or not you want to do business with these people.

He was even helpful to my other construction guy who needed a hand. Bruce started the good show when he sold it to us, with lots of patience & positives, listening to what we needed. He helped us understand the additional benefits of this type stove for my disabled situation, and responded several times to my questions on line. Thanks to everyone at BAC! Jeanine Fisher

We have purchased several appliances from BAC and have been extremely happy with the service and the appliances. We remodeled our kitchen and sought advice from Erik Fretheim. He helped us with the decision to use induction rather than gas as we lived at a very high altitude. He also advised we buy the Bosch Benchmark steam oven and have loved that as well. We are now moving to a new location and will start over with Erik steering our decisions. He is always prompt to follow up with any questions so I do very highly recommend him.

This place is great. Primarily theyre a vendor for builders (which is the case for us too) but they also will serve retail walk-ins and based off what I saw I think their prices are pretty competitive. We worked with Paul who was friendly, polite, and extremely knowledgeable (especially if you are a Parkwood construction) and definitely didnt try to upsell us. There were definitely times when he said we didnt need something or it wasnt worth the money or something like that. Im guessing that the majority of people reading this are with builders but rest assured you are in good hands. And if you arent with a builder and just looking for a new fridge, this place is awesome check it out.

At first things were wonderful until we went to get the actual items we ordered to get into our new home. When they delivered the refrigerator they did damage to the home (they did fix it). However, we had to point it our to them! Then he washer and dryer we order all of a sudden wasnt available when we ordered it 6 months prior! We had to get a different one (this was an act of congress). Still not sure we got an equal trade!! Now we have a wine fridge in a basement bar that we paid for several weeks ago that hasnt worked since we set foot in this house. We are being given the run around. I have been hung up on by Jenifer, not been returned calls or texts by James!! I guess they think I shouldnt be upset!!! Really!! I now am being told by the repairman that came out for the second time that they wanted him to try something else before he was allowed to order parts!!! Give me a wine fridge that works and you work on this one in your own spare time!!! I paid for a product I have yet to receive!!! And no one will make it right!!!!!

Had a great experience in their showroom. Ordered our appliances (for a total kitchen remodel) and had them install everything. All items were delivered on time and installed properly, with the exception of the wine fridge and the island hood. We called them back and they fixed both. For the hood, we were told in the showroom that the hood we picked could be installed at 34 above the range (max recommended height). However, at installation we came to find out that it can be installed 28-34 above the range and that the infrastructure of the house (for an island hood especially) dictates the height of the hood- not the consumer. This meant that it had to be installed at 28 and if we wanted it at 34, like we were told when we bought it, it would cost us an additional $500 for custom modifications. I spoke with our salesperson who spoke with their manager, who agreed it was a lack of communication on their part and they fixed everything for us. We didnt pay anything additional out of pocket and they did the custom modifications to get the hood to the height we had wanted. It was a hiccup, but I was happy with the way that BAC handled the situation.

We were referred by our home builder. We purchased 5 Viking pieces to receive a sale price & we were told it was made in the USA & had a 3 year warranty. 1 year later, it was all installed. Day 1 the hood fan did not work. After moving in, we put 1 cooling fan & 2 convection fans in the range & the microwave surround fell apart. Now the ice maker is broken & the fans in the range still do not work. After 1 year in our home, Viking is rude & says there is not a 3 year warranty. We have been treated poorly. Beware.

Great customer service in the product selection and sales process. We are please with our high end range. The installation and job completion process was less than ideal. The hood was installed differently from discussed and had a blemish on it. It took 1 month and multiple phone calls and emails to get someone out to take care of it. The install required a duct cover to be custom made, again it has proven challenging to get someone to come and measure for this so I am dealing with it on my own. Very disappointed in the completion and follow through. Will shop elsewhere.

Terrible at every point of interaction.1) I came into the store and knew what I wanted. I got a sales reps card to call after I confirmed a few things online. I called her trying to buy a washer/dryer set. I was willing to let her get the commission despite not really doing a thing to make the sale. She never called me back.2) I was able to make the purchase through a different sales rep after calling several times over the next couple days.3) When the installers came to deliver it, they were never told to bring the stacking kit that I bought. I checked the installers work order, and the kit was in fact left off--but on my receipt. They had to come back later in the day with the kit to get the installation done. Because of this, I ended up having to wait at my house all day (and after normal hours) for a washer/dryer installation.4) They crossed the hot and cold water hoses, so significant damage was done to my clothes and bedding before discovering the issue. Well over $1000 worth of brand new, high-end bedding and clothing were damaged or completely destroyed before the error was discovered. All in all, there is a complete breakdown in competence. They made it difficult to buy their product. They made me sacrifice an entire day to get it installed. They installed their product wrong. They damaged and destroyed my property. Only a terrible operation could make the actual washer/dryer be only half the cost of buying it.

Showroom is nice and sales people are sales people. The problem is their customer service after there is an issue down the line. The store uses a third party for service which is understandable, but the warranty service company is really poor and BAC does not stand behind the sale. They just refer you back to the warranty company. I would recommend shopping somewhere else where you can get warranty support if needed down the line.

We ordered new Miele oven, steam oven, warming drawer and a Dacor 7 refrigerator freezer. It appears they tried to deliver and install open box and/or used defective items for the Miele steam oven and warming drawer. Barely even a weak apology for them having been caught trying to do this. Both were missing parts at the original installation attempt; Miele doesnt ship boxes with missing parts. Steam oven threw error codes, warming drawer was crushed by the conventional oven because the installation supports werent provided. They eventually replaced both items with new ones after over a month without access to the appliances while we waited for this to be resolved. The manager Karen couldnt be bothered to talk with me about this, so I had the joy of dealing with a rude assistant manager.

Terrible experience with this business. I contacted them to replace a built in microwave. I paid to have their installer come to pre inspect the installation so that their salesperson could find the correct replacement. Well the inspection took place, no issues, just had to identify a replacement based upon the measurements. Despite repeated phone calls, and e mails, I got nothing in response from either sales or the installer. I couldnt even get them to provide the dimensions for the install that I paid for so I could move on. This business is a disgrace and they wasted weeks of my time after taking my money. I can only imagine how awful their service is AFTER buying from them. Go elsewhere and save your money and time.

Weve used BAC/Ferguson twice this year: first, to replace a frig at a mountain home and second, for a whole new kitchen for a complete remodel. Whats characterized both purchases is terrible service.Showroom is great, but things start to break down after that. In both cases, we ordered appliances months before we needed them (5 and 3 months respectively). The mountain experience had a lot of back and forth, hurry up-and-pay to lock-in sale pricing. Thats fine, except there was no price increase, which was weird. Scheduling install was a hassle and delayed project. The second project--the total remodel--has been a mess: Hurry-up-and-order, they said, so we did. Four months later, they installed the appliances, but there is no refrigerator door for our Thermador for three more months--not even a temporary one. The kitchen cabinet company stepped in and built us a door. Worse, BAC ordered the wrong hood for a range. They re-ordered, the right hood is here and waiting to be installed, but theyre not sending an installer. He was supposed to be here today. We cant use the cooktop without setting off the fire alarm until the hood gets here.Look, mistakes happen, but customer service is about dealing with your mistakes. BAC makes mistakes and then appears wholly indifferent to how to make it better. Thats a pretty bad double-whammy. In my experience (2 new home constructions/7 remodels: all as homeowner), this place is a big disappointment. I remember them when they were smaller and did great work, but Id avoid them now.

No one ever even glanced over at me in about 10 minutes of looking at the washers and standing in plain sight. I shoulda-coulda asked for help again but I was not very enthusiastic at that point so I left. I dont know if it was because I was a middle-aged woman by myself and therefore invisible, or if they only want to deal with couples so that the man of the house can make decisions. There appeared to be plenty of sales people. Its a very nice showroom, however, so I may go back and give them another try next time I need an appliance.

So I needed about 40k in Viking kitchen appliances so I decided to look at the local stores and get multiple bids, as opposed to simply going on line and ordering it myself online for 50% off.So I went and got multiple shops that carried Viking in town and told the sales people that I wanted competitive bids. So after the first round of bids, I contacted Bruce at BAC and said can you meet or beat the price of 28K, because his bid came back at 38K. So instead of saying sure I can meet it or beat it, this guy called Viking and complained that the other store was not selling at monopoly pricing.BAC is nothing but a big “fat cat” company that are running a 100% markup and instead of promoting informed customers who will return to their outlet for service, repeat business, and prove the point that service and completive pricing is a better model. They incentive people to simply go online buy it cheaper and shut down their entire model. BAC is part of the old world of setting up a monopoly and forcing customers to pay twice as much just so they can line their pockets. And the moment you get an honest price, they complain and wine. Honestly, these people remind me of Detroit union workers who get paid $150k a year and work 10 hours a week for putting on a tail light, and the moment you confront them with modern economics they cry and go on strike.
