Gone here a couple times. Best chocolate milk Ive had. The workers are all young, yet theyre very professional and respectful.

Super super tasty. Its not cheap but it worth it! The chocolate cake shake and add some caramel topping, ufff super delicious!

Good variety of icecream flavors. Staff is always nice. Well stocked. Enough seating to accomodate few rounds of customers. Too bad they got rid of games and chess/checkers.

Ive had a love affair with their shakes since I was a kid. Hadnt had it in a long time. The power went out at my house and it was the perfect opportunity to get a tasty treat.

They too long with my order over 20 minutes! gave my money back but one of the shakes was just sitting there and didnt make no fresh one

I would highly reccomend them to add more ice cream to the root beer floats (was like a half scoop of vanilla in each float). Other then that they were pretty good!

Been there the first time typical shabby American ice cream place, nothing special in the inside, felt like a place stuck in the nineties. The ice cream was OK, but also nothing special.

1 scope sundae, strawberry sauce + crushed peanuts. Absolutely delicious, but ohhhh soooo Extravagant $$$ treat.

My family and I were coming in from Kentucky for a quick trip to Elmhurst to visit family, we rolled in at about 9:30 on a Friday night. We were looking for an enjoyable ice cream place around town to celebrate the end of a long drive. We were pleasantly surprised when stumbling upon Oberweis. The ice cream was incredible and our server Wes was even better. Oberweis is a must-try if in Elmhurst.

I have not lived in the Chicagoland area for 14 yrs. I ALWAYS drank Oberweis milk back then. We happened to be in Elmhurst and I had to go and get my fix of this wonderful milk! I live in Fort Worth,Texas now...not too many dairy cows down here! Just the longhorns and beef.It was better than I remembered!I miss Oberweis!!!

Solid ice cream, take your kids here after soccer practice it will make their day.

Ooh, why oh why is there corn syrup in all their ice cream!?! Wish I didnt read the ingredients.Do not get their apple crisp Sunday! It was disgusting. I ate the ice cream on top. Nothing crisp about it, but rather raw dough, so unsatisfied, so gross. She offered me something else, but was rude about it, so yeah, no thank you.

Im hopelessly addicted to this Ice Cream! It is soooo yummy. I highly recommend getting birthday cake and coffee flavors together.... its like having coffee&cake for dessert😃.My original post has been erased since apparently I was wrong to be upset with Oberweis for what I saw thru Doordash app. Theres an error currently happening on menu so my scolding of Oberweis was unwarranted. I apologize &thank them for their prompt attention&response to my post!

I just want to say I came into Oberwise today and a young lady was very pleasant and respectful. I believe her name was Alexis but I do know that she was very patient. Also great ice cream!!

Customer service was excellent. I was disappointed I couldnt get the gallon of egg nog cuz they were out but, got a smaller size. Love their egg nog.

I drive 13 miles passing two other oberweis on the way to this location just because of their friendly staff and there milkshakes!!! They make their shakes the way shakes are supposed to be made !!!

A classic example of a midwest hard ice cream shoppe. Similar to a Maggie Moos or a Cold Stone, has some space for seating inside, but if you want to sit outside youre out of luck. Had a mandatory face mask rule in place per Illinois regulation. Ice cream was delicious, with many different options of carrier mediums. Would stop back when in Illinois.

Have been coming here for over 10 years now. And have been ordering blueberry pie ice cream for over a year now. Even take quarts of it home. Today, I got the blueberry pie ice cream again but this time it tasted very bitter and as if it had gone bad. We informed them so if it was indeed bad they wouldnt serve it to anyone else.Got another kid scoop for my daughter since I had to get her something. Oh, they charged me for that.Heres a tip, if the ice cream is bad or doesnt taste right, dont charge the customer for its replacement.

Last week I went oberweis and was assisted with Martha she was really polite, helpful, and provided fast service

Delicious as usual. This time I was treated properly. The last time a young lady with long curly hair behaved like she didnt want to be at work and kept giving is attitude. Other than that, I love this place

AMAZING ice cream!! Rich and creamy deliciousness. We ordered a black cherry malt, cookie dough ice cream, and birthday cake - everyone was satisfied and wishing we could take some home (we live 5 hours away, so not a practical option). They also have a refrigerator and freezer section to take things home if youre local or plan to pack a cooler and dry ice.

Stopped by this place and was happy to see it was open late on a Sunday. Erin was great and provided top shelf service. Our ice cream came promptly despite a line of people waiting. Everyone was really busy but customers were never neglected. Great experience.

The best ice cream with fast, friendly service.

The variety of sweet treats available in this shop was great, not to mention the availability of other dairy products besides the ice cream. Some of the tables in the shop have chessboards, though some are missing pieces. The only other complaint was that the restroom was poorly stocked, and there was no toilet paper. Overall a good place to get something sweet on a hot summer day!

Very disappointed they stopped selling their chocolate cake😠. Everyone raves about Portillos cake, but the have nothing on Oberweis chocolate cake. Doesnt even need ice cream!

Ice cream and dairy does not get much better than Oberweis. All of their products are hormone free. Glass bottles prevent your milk from tasting like plastic. They have the best chocolate milk to ever grace this planet. The store is clean. The only problem is, your bill is going to be half of your paycheck. If you can justify quality for the high price, youve found your place.

This is my favorite location. Staff are very energetic and happy. Everything is made to your liking. If you dont like it let them know and they are happy to re-make it. Not too expensive.

They have lemon blackberry for the summer. Its really good, especially with black cherry. I enjoyed it more than cold stone. I got a cone and it was 90 outside so the cashier gave me a bowl just in case. They are friendly and the ice cream is good.

Hard to find fault with this place. With a variety of serving styles and flavors, and all of it quality, you are sure to find something you like. Whether its a sundae or a waffle cone (my choice), they have it all - plus some coolers filled with various dairy products and their famous glass bottles of juices and lemonade. Spent more than a few summer nights with sticky hands in the parking lot. Highly recommended.

Very good icecream and service. Can can busy at some times and the prices are a little on the high end for some menu items. Overall a wonderful place to get some icecream. Chess sets are available along with many other tabletop games behind the counter

Oberweis is definitely a little more on the pricey side, but for the quality of product, the taste, and the service provided, I think its well worth the extra money.I would actually compare the pricing to that of baskin robins, except you get twice as much GOOD QUALITY ice cream.Also, Oberweis has some of the best, no, I take that back, they have THE BEST chocolate milk EEEVER!!!Its SOOO delicious that we can even give it to our daughter as a dessert for after dinner.

Picked up an ice cream cake for an afternoon celebration. The cake is a favorite of my colleagues, as well. It is my go to quick, delicious, outside of the box treat to any gathering.

Right, so, I dont know what I want to say about this place. The ocean cream is ... good, really, really good.But I dont like how the ownership steals tips from the employees.

Excellent, Excellent customer service! Ice cream was amazing! My family and I loved the ice cream and the manager gave our kids balloons. The lemon blackberry was really good, the salted chocolate caramel and blackberry chocolate chip were amazing!

I mostly go there to get milk. Even if there is a separate counter for packaged items sign, I still have to wait in one long queue of ice cream/shakes.

Simply the best. I love ice cream that is creamy and not a giant chunk of ice like some ice cream places have. You cannot go wrong with Oberweis.

The icecream is delicious, but the service is lacking. I waited almost 15 minutes for a sundae while 2 employees finished their conversation. I dont care how good the icecream is, I will not be going to this location again.

I have been a regular customer of Oberweis for many years. But recently I purchased an Ice cream pie and while eating found 2 sharp plastic pieces in them. Luckily did not swallow. It would have been bad if swallowed. I sent an email to them but they never bothered to look in this.

One thing over overwise have with other stores dont have is eggnog ice cream! Travel all over Elmhurst Illinois to look for the seasonal eggnog ice cream. Hey Google it. The stores that it said carried it didnt happen. Oberweis was my last store. And they was also almost gone as well. But since I live on the North side Elmhurst I do forget about the guys. For a old-school Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor store this is the place. Thats naturally made and friendly staff.

Ice cream was good and had lots of variety, it was pretty busy when we were there but the wait time was not excessive. They also have board games, and chess to play while you are in the shop.

I swaggered up to the counter and asked the cashier for the Young Buck special. I was testing his knowledge, for this was a secret menu item. He replied with a smile and a plesant, say no more fam. A+ customer service and they even knew to add extra caramel for this special. 5 stars.
