I wish their food menu was served all day. They changed their taco rice so its not as good as it used to be. No gluten free pastries so Its a four star review.

This is the place to get coffee in Ellensburg. They never disappoint with their handcrafted brews. My two favorites are the Clausen (hot) and the Granita (milky way, iced). Youll not find friendlier baristas. Youll not find tastier coffee. Tell them Oliver sent you!

Super cute coffee shop with outdoor seating and heaters. I only got to try an apple strudel cinnamon pastry which wasnt that great BUT their mexican mocha specialty drink was delish!

I love this place, staff is alway very friendly and helpful. And the drinks always taste amazing.

We are regulars to D&M and have enjoyed the veggie burrito as a fun meal, but in our past 3-4 experiences the burritos have been horrible. For example, the burritos are missing ingredients, folded like wraps so everything falls out of them, not all of the way cut so everything falls out of them, and most recently we had to explain that there was a veggie burrito on the menu as the person had no clue what we were trying to order and wanted to make us a wrap instead of a burrito (which ended up happening). We immediately called and complained asking for a refund (still waiting on that) and the managers number, which we were not given, so we will probably not get any food from this location again.D&M in my view, has always had an issue with consistency of both food and drinks. The same drinks (drip coffee included) taste different depending on whoever makes them, which makes it really hard to want to continue going back. We want to support our local business, but we also want consistency in what we are ordering.

This place is fantastic! I always had heard the hype for d&m but only recently tried it for the first time. Definitely want to go back and try more coffees. The fact that they have beer too made it a nice date spot for my fiance and I ^^

I like their signature latte, difference between the normal and signature you get to choose flavors to add. They have a couple of options, I went with english toffee and caramel. Tastes good

Dont bother with this place. We visited the downtown location. The baristas were unwelcoming and almost rude. They made us feel really rushed to order (it was 9:50am and there was no one else in the shop). They were also short tempered when asked about different tea and treat selections. The coffee was good, the scones were fresh but really bland, and the tea was Stash tea (its 2020, who sells Stash tea?). Well be looking for a smaller more friendly coffee shop next time.

Good but limited food, good but limited beer selection. Good and not limited coffee. An Ellensburg staple for a reason.

Came in looking for a medium roast drip. They had only brewed dark roast for the day. The barista admitted that that wasnt normal because most people dont like the dark roasts. I opted for the cold brew instead. It tasted like they had brewed it and then put it in the refrigerator to cool. It was bitter and burnt tasting.

Quick and easy to order. Great tasting granita. Love the outdoor seating options.

Great coffee. Not my favorite but it is very good. I absolutely was in a hurry one day & ran in there for a coffee & decided to grab a burrito. That thing was HUGE! And delicious! Definitely room for leftovers! They prepared it quickly & had it to me in minutes. I will definitely be going back. I would say the establishment has reasonable room for wheelchairs & it is quite open. It’s quaint & everything is quality. Definitely going back. The parking isn’t the best for any business on this road so be prepared to walk sometimes but not too far! Worth it!

The coffee is fine they are just expensive. Id highly recommend searching for a different coffee shop if you want affordable coffee.

A good place to relax, write poetry and study while having an iced vanilla mocha with almond milk! No matter what time of the day, it is a great place to stop by!

I get coffee at 4th and pearl d&m almost every day . i meet people for business . Coffee is really good food is good . Owner did a great job with the shop . My only complaint is the manager is moody especially when its busy . She seems really stressed when its busy and snaps at people . I spend on average 20 to 30 bucks a week. And i always tip . She acts like she has never seen me before. At other coffee shops they remember your name and are polite . At d&m the other employees are friendly but she needs more customer service training i think . To me good customer service should always accompany good coffee.. just be nice please . I want to enjoy my coffee shop experience. Thanks. John allen

Their coffee was okay. The strong wasnt very strong. But, their crescents are great. I love the filling and texture. The place itself has a nice atmosphere and plenty of types of seating. Very friendly staff.

Had a veggie panini, was a very good Sandwich but took at least 15 minutes to make it. Very nice employees but one employee obviously wasn’t wearing a bra and it made the experience a bit uncomfortable for me.

An open airy location right in the center of town, it’s the place you know you can always go to run into people you know. It’s a great spot for meeting with people or people watching. Their food and beverage however is neither quality or consistent. Things I have experienced: coffee grounds in the bottom of my coffee, Flat beer from their tap, Wine poured from a bottle that had been open for an unknown number of days, stale cookies, chewy croissants. Why do I keep on going back? 1) location 2) that’s where you go in Ellensburg.

Probably one of the worst experiences over 6 of my college classmates and I have ever had at a coffee stand. I waited over 55 minutes for a taco rice, it was made wrong and when I nicely asked to have something added (not remade) she took it back for an additional 20 minutes and tossed it on the table. She proceeded to talk bad about all of us right infront of us. Over the last week the same gal has made all of our drinks wrong when D&M is our favorite spot. After making our drinks wrong we asked for more milk and she said you should have asked at the time you were ordering . Never going back.

Clean, quaint, good food, reasonable prices IMHO, nice. I heard they have really good coffee but I didnt order any because of the time of day. Maybe next time. I definitely recommend this place.

The staff is great, the coffee is really good and the owners are awesome!! When Im passing through Ellensburg during a road trip, D & M is my number one choice for my coffee fix! AND... The hay straws... GENIUS!!

I dont drink coffee so I havent tried them. However my Dad had to get a mocha every time he was in town because they are his favorite. He always say D&M has the best mochas. So here is five stars from my dad. Lol.

Chill atmosphere. Excellent for work/study ambiance. Good for meeting up with people. You can stay a while. Food and drinks are mediocre (e.g. sugary yogurt, store-bought teabags instead of loose leaf, not a large selection of food).

Best coffe I have ever tasted!! I live in Yakima but drive to Ellensburg to buy a bag of hi-octane coffee to make espresso at home once a month or so. I cant believe anyone would go to Starbucks if they had a D&M in their town. Love D&M coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!😍💜❤💗💖☕

Good beverages and pastries -- a pleasant space, well laid out. We were just stopping in Ellensburg to stretch our legs, but we enjoyed this place -- Im sure well stop in again next time were in town.

Comfortable cafe atmosphere, exposed wood and chairs that look like the older ones from my elementary school make this place cozy under the warm glow of bare bulbs. The food isnt to die for but quite scrumptious all the same.

D&M is an Ellensburg icon, but I would like it better if they used dark roast in the espresso!

Love the atmosphere and the overall vibe. The cashiers are extra nice and accommodating. Overall very welcome for locals, students, and all others.The food is subpar. You can get a better quesadilla and burrito at the Surc on campus. The Taco rice is disappointing, not sure why everything is loaded with jalapeños. The paninis are alright but the dont stand a chance against Monster Melts.The coffee is pretty good. Good place for studying and coffee, food leaves more to be wanted.

Great coffee, marvelous scones, friendly staff. They have made unfortunate changes to their panini, however. The rather sweet tomato sauce added to the veggie panini does not go well with the Greek olives, feta cheese, and artichoke hearts. They had a good combo, and I was deeply disappointed that they felt they had to ruin it. I havent tried the other sandwiches, so I dont know if other terrible changes have been made to them by someone with more creativity than taste.In response to the owners response: Yes, the recipe did change, although I assume it happened some years ago. Tomatoes were added to the veggie panini, which in the past did not have them in any form. When I made a special stop in Ellensburg just to get a veggie panini, I was shocked by the new taste. A formerly wonderful blending of flavors is now completely masked by tomato sauce with Italian seasonings. The spinach and Greek olives do look pretty, though. Take them out and admire them while you eat the spaghetti sauce.
