I was very displeased with what I received. First I was told a price over the phone but charged a completely different price, then after receiving the cake I ended up throwing the whole thing away. The cake tasted days old, it was extremely dry and overcooked as well as the buttercream icing I asked for was rock hard as if it were that gross molding icing. I will never waste my money here again. I heard such good things about this place, but what I received was NOT a 50 dollar cake, you can also see where they messed up on the writing, some of it even being removed and a dark stain line left in place. The cake its self was beautiful, dont get me wrong. But the taste and quality was absolutely awful. What was supposed to be a very sentimental birthday for someone who moved literally across the u.s to be here for me and my child turned into a show of me tossing a 50$ cake into the garbage because it was inedible.

First time here, on a recommendation from our son in law. The food is very good, and looks delicious even just sitting in the case. We didnt try the cider (driving over the pass in a blizzard), but were intrigued enough to go back and check it out.The interior is inviting and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and overall we enjoyed our visit very much.You should give this great little place a try, its definitely worth it.

This bakery is such a delight every time I visit. I havent had anything I havent liked, and the space is beautiful inside and out. If I had to choose, Id go with the hand pies and the quiche, but even saying that makes me think I should add the carrot cake cupcake to the list. Great coffee, nice beverage options including a variety of seltzers, homemade lemonades and beer.

The peach pie was fantastic! Coffee was delicious! Service was good. We came at the end of the day so people were tired. The brownie was very dry but good if you like a cake brownie. I prefer a gooey, super moist nutty brownie. The cherry pie was very good. The cherry hand pie was dry and not very flavorful. The atmosphere is wonderful and music great! Lovely backyard deck for outdoor seating. The thumbprint cookies were very good nice butter flavor. The Russian tea cookies were full of nuts, little dry but quite flavorful. Well be back!

Being yelled at and treated rudely is why I’m rating 1 star. I have eaten here 3 days in a row now. Came on a Saturday with my bike but forgot my lock. I asked the barista if I could carefully wheel my bike upstairs next to my table. There was plenty of room. I was told that would be fine. I started wheeling my bike to my table and started hearing someone from the kitchen yelling at me. She then told me I could store my bike outside and probably no one would steal it. After being yelled at I told them I just wanted my food to go and I will not be coming back.

Amazing food and sweets. One of the best cheesecake bites I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff, and a new patio space out back! Definitely recommend.

What a gem! I was so impressed by this bakery. Amazing short crust pastry and full puff pastry. Cookies, pies, and savory chicken pot pies with everything in between. The ambiance is modern yet comfortable, unstated, and welcoming. Lots of cozy places to sit and enjoy you food.

It’s like,we get the curb appeal but not for what seems to be frozen apple pies. Cute place, not the cutest.

Long wait times with no acknowledgement we were there. Had the maple bar, a cinnamon biscuit, and lemonade. Lemonade was very seedy, but okay. Maple bar tasted like it was refrigerated from the day before. Cinnamon biscuit was dry. Low quality milk in macchiato - suggest upgrading to a milk carton rather than a plastic milk bottle.Atmosphere good. Bathroom clean. Tables clean, parking excellent.

Wonderful little spot for lunch. Pot pies, sandwiches, cookies and peanut butter cream pie. All delicious! A cozy outdoor patio in back. What more could you ask for?

Awful customer service. They have bad attitudes and their apple pie tasted like it was frozen and unfresh. I would not recommend going here.

The variety of baked goods here is impressive. Lots of savory (calzone, quiche, etc) with several sweet (pies, cookies, etc.). I had the most interesting maple bar where the base was firm and dense vanilla cake with a very tasty and sweet maple icing. Really yummy. They do have a full espresso latte americano if you need that too!

Awesome bakery. A friends son is at CWU, we called and spoke with the owner about a special New Years cake. The family celebrates new year on the first day of spring and they were heading over. After a long drive we were hoping to surprise them with something special. The owner listen to our request. She was enthusiastic and open to try a new recipe that would require some special items. The cake was incredible, my friend reported it was like what his mom used to make (his highest praise for cooking). Her culinary skills are tremendous paired with her kindness creates an special bakery. Thank you for the extraordinary work.

I had a resident at a facility I was working at tell me about a local bakery she liked, so I took a quick break to run over to grab some treats for Her. According to their signage, they were due to close at 5pm, I pulled into their parking lot at 4:40 only to discover they were closed. A quick Google search lead me to Hayday Bakery and I wasnt disappointed !! Amazing selection, service, and atmosphere ! Purchased two thumbprints and a hand pie (apple), got them back to my resident, and she loved them !! Ive found a new favorite bakery !

I came here almost on a whim and was delighted. Nice service, good selection and prices, comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. I only tried the baked goodies, tea and coffee, but will surely be back to try more off of the menu.

They always have some great treats! Their BLT sandwich is served on soft, delicious bread. A great local spot for sure.

Great for grabbing breakfast as were heading out of town to visit grandkids. The vegetarian breakfast casserole is very good and gluten free. My husband says the breakfast croissant is also great.

INCREDIBLE BAKERY!!! The atmosphere is charming with a sitting area upstairs above the bakery, as well as a wonderful patio out back with overlooks one of the creeks running through town. The food and coffee are OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD and truly delicious!!!! The staff are friendly and exceedingly kind! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

What a treat, so glad i dropped in for lunch..the spinach and feta quich was the best ..mmmm, so yummy. Excellent cappuccino.. and the service was with a smile. She even lit the outdoor heater for me. So much nicer than eating in my car! Great out door patio.

Everything I’ve tried from here has been outstanding!! Cookies: excellent, pastries: top notch, bread: baked to perfection. Great range of items on the menu, really nice staff and great atmosphere. I go at least twice a week! If you haven’t checked out Hayday yet, you’re seriously missing out!!

I’m trying so hard to make this my favorite coffee spot in town but my lattes are always cold/lukewarm. When they were new I figured it was just growing pains while training a new staff but my lattes are still lukewarm every single time. I started asking for lattes “extra hot” and they are still lukewarm. Hayday is so adorable and their coffee beans are fantastic- I will be a daily loyal customer as soon as they can make a hot latte!

We had coffee and Greek pastries on the outdoor dining area behind the bakery. Very tranquil and nice. A lovely creek runs along side of it.

Stopped in to check this place out with my partner today and we were pleasently surprised. Warm atmosphere/upstairs seating, and selection of wines and drinks. Espresso and gluten free goodies were great too! And they have oatmilk; only place in town Ive found so far that offers that with their coffee. Well be back 😊
