I went in with my dad to get a bare ar-15 lower for me to build up. The guy at the counter was helpful and nice. Love the feel of the gun shop, sadly it is a bit of a drive for us to get there, but hopefully we can visit again.Edit: I added the photo of the lower I finished with a 300 blackout upper.Edit: last photo is the finished 762x39 upper and lower.

I went to pick up a gun a few weeks back and the guy I talked to on the phone was really helpful but when I came in one the counter guys was arguing with some customer about some weird conspiracy theory stuff I never even heard of which is whatever but then as Im filling out my paperwork the gentleman Im working with makes a joke insinuating I could become a terrorist out of nowhere which I was pretty caught off guard by and then before my paperwork was done another employee is aggressively arguing with some veteran about their paperwork. To be fair the way things sounded the guy was also being obnoxious but making a scene with a customer was extremely distracting and being obnoxious back didnt exactly diffuse things or make that guy understand any better. This was all within the 15 minutes or so I was in there. Ive worked with everywhere from your neighborhood granny to silicon valley jerk wads in my line of work over the years and I could never imagine acting that way to paying clients. Their online FFL set up is really well done and modern but my whole experience there was pretty disappointing and as proud American that crude joke left a bad taste in my mouth.

Excellent customer service. I came in a half hour before they closed with no gun experience in over 20 years. They took the time to help me pick out a great quality handgun at a great price, they showed me how to use it, gave me extra tips and got me in a beginners class to teach me everything I need to know in order to be a responsible gun owner. Wouldnt even bother with the other gun shop in town after the great experience I just had. Highly recommend if you are interested in purchasing a gun or even if your just toying with the idea. They will help you figure out if its right for you and give you good advice and great prices.

Went in to buy my first firearm. Immediately we were greeted and asked if we’ve been there before. We answered no and explained what we were there for. I walked in with little knowledge as I hadn’t done any research and by the time we walked out of the shop I felt like I had gotten the pistol buying for dummies. The person I dealt with was Cameron and he was so incredibly knowledgeable that he basically sold me in the first few minutes because of his customer service, and overall the feeling that they cared that I was going to get a quality product. We left to do pricing at other shops. I thought considering they were a tactical shop they would automatically be more expensive. They actually had better pricing than a local shop that’s been around longer and better than a corporation. So we went back to purchase a pistol and again they took the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted, made sure if I had any questions they were answered, and overall just gave a great impression as a business and as firearm owners. I will definitely go there again to buy any accessories or any other firearms from these people. I can’t say enough good things about that but it was a great experience with informed staff. They also gave me the option to sign up for PA firearm laws class and and safety class they hold every three months which I think is critical to understanding firearm safety for first timers.

Very poor customer service. Employees make you feel as if your bothering them just for shopping there. Very dismissive towards customers and questions.

Awesome gun shop! Owner had best customer service I have received at a gun store ever! I went in for a carry conceal purse for my wife and they had a huge selection of everything! Ton of pistols, rifles, scopes, holsters,ammo and accessories! Best prices I have seen! Most items were cheaper then online. I have been a customer here for a little over a year. This place is awesome. I will back up the other reviews in saying that their knowledgeable staff is not arrogant or stuck up in any way. From first time shooter to salty veteran, they have what you need and will help you out. If you love supporting the small fish, I highly recommend this place. I built my entire AR-15 lower receiver with parts from them, including their billet lower. Great shop, will continue to come back.

Bunch of great young gentlemen. First time here and came in all the way from Maryland. As soon as I open the door greeted and asked what am I looking for or help with anything. Best customer service in Lancaster when it comes to firearms. They knew their stuff and are happy to field any questions. They wont force you to buy a firearm but will give you their honest opinion about what is good and what isnt. The owner is very friendly. I trust this place far more than Trop.

Lanco corrected a major issue I had with my custom Glock 19 competition pistol when Zev was useless in resolving the issue. The gun now functions better than before and has worked flawlessly through multiple competitions and a couple thousand rounds. I always enjoyed doing business with the guys at Lanco, this was just icing on the cake.

This has been my favorite gun shop thus far, even so, that I drive 40 minutes and pass up the shops near me. They are helpful and informative and don’t care if you are a first time gun owner or gun enthusiasts and they are always ready to help.

I have been going to Lanco for a number of years without any issue. I went there Saturday 3/16/19 to pick us some AR accessories, and some ammo. I noticed that 9mm 135 GR Hornady had two different prices. $22 something, and $23 something. I went to pay, and brought it up to the cashier (not Nate the owner) about the prices being different. He gave me what I thought was some bullsh*t excuse that prices have gone up, and this box got missed, and its going to be 23 something for both. I didnt care about the price, what I cared about was Lancos lack of customer care. It rubbed me the wrong way since I have spent a decent amount of money in that shop over the years. I then said places usually honor sticker prices Then the cashier said well I will change it, but Nate is going to be mad saying all this while he appeared to be training another cashier. I guess Lanco is in rough financial space if Nate is going to be upset about honoring the sticker price on the product that he is selling, and teaching new employees this is how you treat customers. It makes me wonder how many other times I got taken advantage of there. Never had that experience at Trops! Will be doing all my AR shopping at Trops or online.

Friendly staff with better prices than the bigger guys down the street.Look, Ill be straight. Trops good, but they wanted close to $1400 for a bone stock PTR-91 and Lanco Tac sold it to me for just over $900 after all was said and done.Their in stock selection is smaller than Trops, but they have several handguns, a few long guns, a decent amount of suppressors, and a nice selection of accessories and gear. And anything they dont have, they can order for you.Also theyre a Blue Label Glock Dealer, if youre looking for one.

Nate and his staff are a huge help when it comes to the ATF paperwork. I definitely recommend them for all your NFA needs.
