Love this location! Associates are always very kind and helpful. I have rosacea and that makes it pretty difficult to find foundations that not only cover it, but also match my skins undertone. Natasha was SO sweet and helped me find the perfect shade of the Too Faced Born This Way foundation!
I dont like leaving negative reviews but the recent trips I made to this location I felt the need to. The store hours are listed as 10am and when I arrived, the doors were still locked. When the associate unlocked the door I wasnt greeted at all not even by the manager. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. Then when I was ready to purchase my items I stood in line with two associates and the manager having a conversation amongst themselves. No one acknowledged me. When the associate finally rang up my items I asked to use my points and when she gave me my total she still hadnt applied my rewards. I understand that it was right when they opened and maybe they were getting themselves together but I was expecting better customer service from Ulta. Times are hard right now and the last thing you want is to feel your business is not appreciated.

I would give it zero stars but thats not an option. There are 3 women that are absolutely so rude! This is including THE GENERAL MANAGER! I went there to get a lipstick and I could hear a woman yelling at the top of her lungs to a customer on the phone! The whole store could here her. When I saw who it was I was SHOCKED to see it was an employee and when I got closer her tag said GENERAL MANAGER! I was second hand embarrassed! Then when I went to checkout the 2nd woman there was extremely rude too. I walked up and said, Hello, how are you? She quickly asked....are u a member? I said yes, she asked -what is your name? I gave it to her then- Address? Like no customer service whatsoever! I dont need them to ask how I am but at least be kind! So disappointed. Needless to say I will not be going back there ever again. I am so happy that Target now carries some Ulta products.

I like Ulta no doubt. This store in particular is a hit or miss. Most of the employees lack customer service skills and the others are really good at their job. The day in particular that I went I felt like they could not get me out of there soon enough. Their order online and pick up in store is pretty fast which I loved. Some employees wear their mask while others do not. I guess that because of covid now you cannot try product testers.
Went today for a haircut, my granddaughter suggested I needed a more modern style. I was a little uncomfortable but, Terence was great, not only did I feel at home, he sang to us all! The whole experience was awesome! I dont usually rate places but I would recommend Ulta and Terence to anyone. Thank you

Went to this one and no one offered any assistance though they had plenty of staff in the store. People were sitting waiting for assistance in various areas and no one helped. None of the brushes were located where they were supposed to be and when you attempted to find staff to help they just ignored you and kept walking. When I got to the front the cashier said she could help me but then started talking to a guy and his son instead and then made a phone call eventually another cashier came to the front he asked me if I found everything I was looking for and when I said no he asked what I was looking for to which I responded brushes and he continued to ring me up without saying another word 🙄 needless to say poor customer service. And not the first time 😒
Gabby did an amazing job on my hair! I neglected all self-care, including hair care, for the last 8+ months working endlessly. Gabby had to deal with my 10+ months outgrown highlights, faded and dry hair. I couldn’t bare to go back home after long and my husband see my dull hair. I read good reviews and saw she had many, so I took a chance. Let me tell you what, that was the best thing ever! She turned my hair into a master piece!! 10/10 recommend! I’m so sad I am headed back home soon. I wish she could be my permanent hair stylists. She did a better job than my hairstylist back home.
I did curbside pick up after checking in that I was there sat in my car for about 20 min two other cars that arrived after me had their orders brought out and I still wasnt helped I finally went inside to the online pick up desk and still had to wait to be helped. Theres an extreme lack of customer service at this location.

We went inside for a store pick up it wouldve been more expeditious experience had there been a person that was dedicated to online orders instead of having to wait and ask if we had to go into the line for the store order. We ended up buying more items from here to have a couples spa evening. :)

I was hesitant to go to Ulta for my haircut but decided to try it out. Jocellyn is absolutely amazing!! I went in for just a cut but I told her that I wasn’t happy with the warmth I had in my hair from previous visit at a different salon. She recommended a gloss and her work turned out amazing! I will 100% be coming back just for her. She was so friendly and took her time and was really informative about my hair. Thanks girl !!❤️
Gabby in the salon is an absolute angel! She transformed my hair and made it look so healthy and voluminous. On top of her amazing hair skills she is hilarious to talk to. I highly recommend her if your looking to get your hair done !!

Used their Curbside Pickup service, and the girl that took my items to me was very rude. I dont think they realize good customer service keeps people coming to your location, which equals out to job security. I love their products, and most girls inside are cool, but this one stood out, not cool. I have worked customer service myself, and I always knew to treat customers with respect and give them a great experience this way they leave with a smile and a good experience, and not like what the heck was that about. I think they bank on the fact that they are the only Ulta location on this side of town.

EVERYTIME I go all make up display is a mess and disgusting, missing testers and everything is constantly always out of stock and is NEVER restocked. What kind of Ulta store is this? Just terrible, I will stick to online website!

I love Ulta. Love to hang out and try new products. I shop there regularly but I had a terrible experience with one of their staff. The sales person I approached for help was with another customer because I couldnt find anyone else. I politely interrupted and apologized for doing so and asked for help once she was done with the customer she was helping and I stepped to the side to wait. The sales rep kept looking at me as if I was inconveniencing and bothering her by waiting. Finally, after approx 20 minutes another sales rep approached me and offered to help. The other sales rep did not even notice I left and never even tried to find me. I felt mistreated and dismissed. Thats not how retailers should treat their customers no matter how busy they are. We shouldnt be made to feel as if theyre doing us a favor by helping us. I expect more from a national retailer like Ulta.
Karen was the associate who helped me. She took the time to ask questions to help better my selection for a gift for my wife. She was knowledgeable of the many products and was friendly and never intimidating. By intimidating, I mean she didnt use a bunch of make-up jargon, or wording, that I believe most people who use the products would use amongst each other. I will definitely make the Sunland Park store my go-to store for future make up stuff for my wife.
Did curbside pickup. So what I am seeing here is that an associate actually grabbed this to pack for me, and didn’t notice that this is what it seems to be a previously returned bottle? Are they selling returned items now? Plus, this defeats the whole purpose of doing curbside pick ups. I’ll have to go inside the store now and return this. It is disgustingly dirty, look at all those fingerprints, the top seems to have been used before and a lot of product is gone. Usually don’t have problems here, but this is disappointing hence we are trying to prevent a virus from spreading.
The salon is very nice, only place Ill have my haircut when traveling and Im not close to my salon back home. Havent been let down yet!

I had a haircut at Ulta, Sunland Park some time ago, and it was the best hair cut ever, unfortunately, the guy who cut it, Austin, no longer works there. Can anybody recommend a person at that place as good as Austin. Please

Overall, I do like this store. There can be a long wait in lines at times. Usually, they will have what I am looking for and they normally have a coupon you can use for most products. I like the fact that points you earn eventually become dollar amounts that you can use. Meaning, you can get x amount of money off an item, regardless what brand it is.
I love ulta but this location I have alot of issues with. The staff is not helpful. They are always out of stock of there products and its not clean. I prefer to shop online.
To dye hair is too expensive!
I had my hair done by Gabriela. Love! Love! what she did!My hair is very damaged from previous bleaching and since I have very dark hair, my hair is terribly damaged. Gabriela took the time to explain how to take care of my hair and the cut looks really cute. I have gotten lots of compliments on my hair. It is a bit pricey, but overall the store is a bit pricey but I do like what Gabriela did with my hair. I will definitely be back.
Love the people here. They are always helpful when I have a make up question or if I need to get a haircut. The last time I went in for a make up question one employee in particular found the make up for me, helped me with knowing the difference and then put it on my face so I could see. Also the last time I went in for a cut, the stylist was so friendly. She went above and beyond.
Fair deals if you have their email coupons. Other than that you’ll be overpaying. Good brands and authentic!

Unfortunately it is a coin toss. Very hard to get someone who really wants to help. Cashiers are not very open to questions. Multiple visits proved the same. However they do have an amazing selection! Just dont interact with anyone 😂
I have been an Ulta customer for many years, and have been a client of their salons as well. Having just relocated to El Paso, I needed a new stylist. I have been taken care of by some wonderful stylists at Ulta over the years, and today was no exception. Gabby is absolutely amazing!

I love ulta but it has alot of issues like the place looked terrible it looked messy the staff werent helpful I was trying to find a good foundation for oily n dry skin n eyelashes and other products im not sure because the way we looked or Im not sure but I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed.
I needed to return two items and the manager Lauren was so incredibly sweet! She was so friendly and lovely. The associate Valerie was so patient & made sure I found the exact color and answered every question I had without any hesitation. The one at the Fountains is terrible and I will drive the extra miles to Sunland Park because they know AMAZING customer service 💕

I typically prefer to order off Sephoras website but occasionally Ill come to this location when I dont feel like waiting on shipping, or cant wait because Im out of a product, since its down the hill from where I live. In total Ill come here 2-3 times a year tops and every time I do, the cashier ALWAYS signs me up to receive magazines without consent. The problem with this is, if you dont cancel the free magazine trial you were SUPPOSED TO BE ASKED to participate in, the credit or debt card you used to make your purchase with that day will be charged a years subscription fee once your free trial is up. I always notice about a month after I visit this location I start receiving seventeen, allure, and womens health magazines in the mail, when I never agreed to the free trial that they are supposed to ask you to try, not just sign you up without asking first. I get the cashiers are under pressure to get people to sign up for the rewards program, and to sign up for magazine subscriptions, but doing so without consent is fraudulent. Do yourself a favor and pay cash at this location.
Horrible :( I come here pretty often and always have the same issue. Sample palettes are always destroyed and there are never products in stock. Everything here is a mess and very dirty and unorganized. It literally looks like a zombie apocalypse happened and everyone just came in and robbed the place.😯 Cashiers are very nice and helpful. Thats the only good thing about this location.

There are a few things that are usually out of stock here, like Porefessional primer and UD finishing spray. Other than that its a pretty good store, I like the extensive drugstore collection. Its best to go in kind of knowing what youre there for, otherwise you could be talked into dropping $$$$ here. They have a really excellent range of hair care products here too, unlike anything anywhere else.

Kori was absolutely AMAZING. I came in with a very ginger hair color, and she was able to turn it into a beautiful rose gold to blonde balayage with a shadow root. I love my hair so much!! They need to improve there staff education on there products. As a customer I want to know why a certain product works better for my type of skin and they don’t know what to tell me ! I think they judge a lot in people’s appearance, example : one of the time that I visited this store I went with my 2 kids, no one and I mean no one ask me once if I was doing ok or if I need help at all it felt like they were avoiding me and I mean my kids were behaving there best ! And another time I went alone with a full face of makeup that time some one did help me and right away tried to sell me the most expensive eyeshadow palette

Its all organized by brands, so its a little hard to find stuff sometimes. The good thing is this store has name brand make up and the brands found in Target/Walmart.

I went to the one on Sunland park today and it seemed like they had only one person working. I had wanted to ask about my color of concealer, but could find no one who could help me. There were several women standing around waiting for help and there was just no one available. The line to check out was exorbitantly long as they only had one cashier working. Many of the products were all mixed up and not in their correct spots. I ended up just putting what I was going to purchase back on the shelf and I left feeling very unimpressed. I guess I’ll just stick to online shopping.

Had a bad experiance with no customer service with the cashier, very unprofessional was talking to her and asking a questions as i was paying and ignore me and called the next person in like at first I thought she had not heard me, so I asked 2 times she blocked me and moved on, called the store and it does not matter customer service is not a focus. Not good.
Found a couple of the items I needed, however you eere all out of the felt eyeliners. The staff is wonderful, most especially Ammie.
Manager is so lazy, cant even check on availability on a product. Customer service fail, claims she has no access to the Ulta website. Good luck, youre on your own here. And the bathrooms need maintenance.
I find this store as one f the better places to buy make up. However, I find that their choice of merchandise is often not there, shelved are empty or partiality filled. Hard to buy every thing at one stop.
