I actually went online to reserved a ground level. In 15-20 min I got a call from a lady name Tina, she told me how to complete it etc ...I was still having problems, so she told me to come by to her location. She was very polite letting me know whats expected every month. She took me to my storage area, show me how to lock it. I really appreciate that bc this is my first time renting storage.She was so good that I have a friend thats going to rent a 10×10 sq from her. I moved in March. Everything was fine till today, someone broke into my storage and stole 4.5k worth of Disney Stuff. Someone took down the drywall to get into my unit. The unit next to me is not occupied, it has an employee lock. I am sure it was one of their employees that broke into my place. Or had their friends do it. Staff was great with helping, but they need to rethink their security, and make sure each unit can be properly secured. Drywall isnt enough to keep people out. All you need is a tear down one sheet of drywall to get to the next unit. Think twice before renting here.

Always have had a good experience here. I have had 2 units here and recently just did a switch to a smaller unit. The process was super easy and straight forward. They let me check out a few units to see what one we wanted and what was easier access. Highly recommend! Tina is the one that helped us out most of the way and was very friendly and helpful.

Truthfully I havent had to deal much with the management but maybe thats a good thing. I get there, put my code in, grab or put away, put my code in again and Im out. Always clean when Im driving to my specific storage unit and so far had no scares about stuff being possibly taken. Ive been using my until for a year now.

Tina was very helpful from our 1st meeting over the phone. We called in 5 hours away. She stated that the office ends taking reservations at 4pm but we could still check in after that. We arrived at 4:30pm and she moved through the paperwork with with ease explaining very well the purpose of each document. She set us up with Insurance and locks and at our storage unit in a very timely manner. This was very important to us as we needed to catch an early flight out of Tijuana Airport.

When making your storage unit arrangements via the customer service phone line ... Be shure to have the individual that you speak with slow down and reconfirm the details of the rental .. even the correct spelling of your name and phone number including area code and ZIP code spelling it out for them if necessary. Had a speaking to an individual at one of the facilities who is either sarcastic or condescending dont hesitate to politely remind them that their system sent you to speak with them and that you are the customer.

This is my second time renting a storage from this location and I highly recommend them! They are extremely professional and caring. The prices are awesome and better than any other storage company!

I used this Public Storage location for 6 months and it was great. Miguel was very helpful upon checking in and all of the staff I dealt with were always very courteous. The location is clean and secure and rates are the lowest in San Diego area.

Got a storage and once moved things in 3 days later realized it was to small went to office and asked to move up to a larger unit. They said I would have to pay that new you unit in full would not get back what I had just paid for the first month. And they have given me nothing but attitude about getting items from my storage.

I have NO clue how their google reviews are so high, Yelp seems to be a little more accurate for this place. The unit was alright while we had it, but we were overseas so didn’t go in it for a few years. The problems were they increased rent significantly and since we were overseas we had no choice but to pay it. The biggest issue was upon trying to close. We just got back in the country with our newborn twins and tried to cancel on March 1st as we have no use for the unit anymore. They told us we have to pay for the entire rest of the month, so another $220 from us. Zero flexibility. We’ve dealt with other storage units before so I know for a fact it’s them choosing to have poor customer service. Do yourselves a favor and check out the small family owned places. I promise you’ll actually get decent service and not money hungry con artists who jack up your rent every chance they get. We are also working with our company to let the other employees with units there to cancel before leaving overseas.

I’ve never had a problem with this Public Storage. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property seems to be safe and secure, although if you’re a woman I wouldn’t recommend going at night, it gets a little creepy!

After shopping all of the storage facilities within a 3 mile radius, I chose Public Storage on N Johnson for a couple of reasons: tbey had an answer for every question that I asked, and some that I hadnt even thought of. The facility itself is well- kept, and every single person from the office was professional and friendly. The introductory special was a great deal, too---$1 for the first month! The rates for the size of unit that I needed were very competitive to start with, and the great service along with the move-in deal made it a no-brainer.

This was my first experience with storage units, and it was awesome! Right after I made the reservation online, one of the staff (Wendy) called me on the phone to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They also called me the day before I moved in just to remind me of my reservation.On the day of my move in, I was greeted warmly by both Milly and Miguel. Milly then asked me to show her the inside of my truck, just to make sure that the storage unit that I picked was the appropriate size for the amount of stuff I had. That was so sweet! She wanted to make sure that if I could get a smaller unit, that I would do that because it would be cheaper.Overall, Im very satisfied with my experience in this Public Storage. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
