Great variety. Plenty of groceries to take your time for all your snacks, drinks,meats and produce. Big choice in the frozen foods and a great deli with hot meals, sandwiches and sushi 🍣. Nice little Starbucks inside also a great bakery. Lots of parking with plenty of disabled parking right at the front door. Clean,bright with awesome staff to assist you with your needs.

Large and very clean store but couldnt find fresh chicken! Was kind of in a rush and didnt see any staff on the floor so just grabbed frozen one. Fresh meat sections very small though but great selection of fruits and vegetables. Overall good store

Lovely Vons but the worst customer service time Ive ever experienced. Every time I visit the hot deli, they have 3 to 4 employees making sandwiches and chicken, but they NEVER acknowledge you. Today myself and 7 other customers were kept waiting nearly 10 minutes (the poor woman ahead of me was 80+ and clearly in pain standing there) before anyone asked us for assistance. It was shocking to me that making sandwiches for your display would take priority over helping people trying to give you money. Your absolutely awful Vons. I wish I could give you zero stars.

I often get off work very close to their closing time, and arrive about 10 minutes or less before they close. Theyve always been very polite and understanding about it. Never had anything less than stellar service. I mean its a grocery store, how would one differentiate itself from the thousands of competitors? With good service. Thats the only way, and this Vons has nailed it.

Low prices for quality foods. I was able to get 2 big steaks, 5 ears corn, head lettuce, kale, bell peppers and few other items to make dinner for 5.

Worst grocery store in San Diego County. Lines are unreasonably long. Food is often priced incorrectly. Dont expect a quick trip and pay attention to your receipt. This store could benefit from new management.

I like this store a lot not sure what the appeal is but its clean and always have good produce.

Love this location always clean with fresh produce and meats but most of all for me it has a USPS shipping station in side thats very convenient for receiving and or shipping packages

Social distancing at its finest! Who in their right mind thinks stacking boxes of chips down the narrow main aisle is a good idea. The city really needs to come in to regulate. They herd us all down one aisle to stand in line.

The carts seem kind of grungy and homeless often hang out front. Lines are often long with several cash registers not being utilized/operated. Other than that the store seems to be clean and well organized and cashiers and baggers are pretty polite and friendly.

Really? Seriously like 30 people in line with one checker. Took photo and cant get it in the review. Not cool. Apparently they think no one shops in this area. Definitely not coming back.

Love the people. Their covid regulations are top notch and protect their customers. They will never be the best priced but I believe the worth is made back up in convenience and quality

Well stocked store with good selection and reasonable pricing. It’s important to be a Von’s Club member to get the best prices. It’s well to check the expiration dates particularly in dairy.

High prices but better quality than Food for Less or Walmart

This is a good Vons location. They do not have self checkout but they do try to process sales quickly.It does seem like one of the check stands that faces a freezer aisle is always open and sometimes that line backs up about 12 to 20 feeet blocking most of the aisle for shoppers. I recommend saving your frozen meal & pizza shopping till you are done. Then just shop this aisle while in line. It will make social distancing much easier.

I have been grateful for this store for a long time, but last night I had a very bad experience.I came in to get food on the evening of August 10, 2020, when I had nothing at home, and I was thrown out of the store while shopping. Two employees including a manager accused me of having stolen on multiple occasions from the store when in fact I have never stolen anything ever. The manager more or less refused to even speak to me, and the security guard wouldnt allow me to speak to the manager even though I was being calm and polite. The employees were both very rude. I might file a complaint against these employees and the store.Update: I spoke with Karen, a manager, possibly the one who threw me out. She said I can talk to someone the next time I come in. I will, and I appreciate her giving me a chance to explain myself over the phone, but they shouldve allowed me to explain while I was in the store before assuming that I was stealing and throwing me out, because I know there is no evidence Ive ever stolen, only false accusations.I take my time when I shop. Often it takes me a while to decide whether or not to buy an item. Sometimes I pick things up and put them back. This might be why some employees are suspicious of me. Maybe the employees should not assume the worst in people, and maybe they should take time to see if there is any concrete evidence of theft before making such serious accusations, because all they had was he said, she said.This is is a very serious accusation your employees have made against me. Even though I am innocent, if I come into your store again and am once again falsely accused of theft, there could be devestating consequences for me. Will your employees call the police on me and claim Im stealing? Im going to need to straighten this out with your employees, managers or whoever, because as of right now, I dont feel safe shopping in your store.

Went on a Saturday, 3p. Not enough lines open to move people along quickly and efficiently. Others stores are spraying conveyor belts down with disinfectants then allowing customers to place their items- not here. Store was well stocked, employees were friendly.

Best place for my pharmacy orders, starbucks, and groceries. Been shopping here for years and I highly recommend. Make sure you download the vons app, you can save a lot of money, not only at vons but also at Albertsons.

I shop here often and in these tough times I still spend a lot in this store. After today I will never be back. Long lines, expected, being cut in front of because you’re keeping social distancing not expected. Then to have a rude, nasty cashier speak to people like dirt because you scoot up or put an item on his grocery belt is inexcusable. It’s apparent he’s not only a control freak he lacks people skills. I would rather spend my money in a friendlier super market.Btw this isn’t the first time this eccentric man has had an attitude either. He was rude to my husband on a different trip. If you hate your job find a new one.The manager did check me out after he refused, she was nice and understood my frustration. The point is why spend my hard earned money where they hire a rude employee.

I always give positive honest reviews - however I have been unimpressed with this Vons for awhile now. Just went in this past Friday around 4pm - the guy at the Fish counter didnt know where the product was that was on their weekly ad. No one could be found in the Produce section. I even had the manager try to hunt him down. They had salads on their ad and they were out of salads. 4pmb in the afternoon on a Friday. I know were in a pandemic and a lot of stuff isnt stocked but where was the personnel to even say, sorry lady were out of solids. These are just a couple of the disappointments of this small store. They have been doing upgrades, painting and moving aisles around, honestly that all looks very nice and was much needed. I usually like to check out with Charles he is my favorite Checker... however Friday I checked out with a girl named Stephanie who was very unfriendly I thought. I HAVE to remember NOT to come to this location. They have a wonderful Vons over in the La Mesa area and also out on Jamach. This one is just cloest for me. HAVE to remember 🤞

Nice grocery store . The deli is always busy and the potato wedges are great. The chicken strips are super crispy! Also they have a ups store inside so you can get your mailing done. The gift card kiosk is out of service!

Little cheaper place to get your groceries its the areas family owned grocery stores. Vons is known to the area its not something Ive seen like Walmart or Safeway

Check the dates on your food. Ive had Instacart shoppers bring refrigerated food that had expired over a month prior. This wasnt the shoppers fault. The store should not be selling expired anything, especially meats and prepared food.

Worst shopping experience of my life!!! Ive spent a lot of money at Vons and this place couldnt have been more rude! Waited in line for over 20 minutes to checkout without being able to see the counters. I was treated absolutely terribly by the employees and the store manager! I will never go back here again and I would give this place less than 1 star! Absolutely horrible experience and I will looking for an alternative to Vons because of tjis experience. Ive been a long time customer of vons for over 20 years and its completely unbelievable to be treated this terribly!!! Stay away from this place!!!!

Lucky, the young dude at Starbucks made my white chocolate mocha, non-fat milk, and hot, delicious!! Other than that, I like the store. Their deli is delicious! I love their chicken strips and their home made fresh food, every day, is good. I got a big piece of barbecued chicken breast (looks baked) for lunch tomorrow. Mmmhhh....👍😉

The employees are very nice, and they have a lot of organic choices. And its super convenient because its close to home. This is one of my favorite places to shop, but I always forget to check to app before I go! The just4u app is great! If they ever decide to carry more Goya products, Ill never go anywhere else. 👍👍
