Helpful cashier. Called someone to help with my groceries to my car, and he helped unload my basket.

They seem like a pretty good store but! I just have to say is when I go to shop after work around 5.30 they are always and I mean always out of Gallons of Crystal Geyser water and Arrowhead,I even ordered delivery and they were out

I really like Smart and Final, they always have what I need or want in stock.The only con is their purified water. I just bought 2 cases of the 16.9 oz bottles and wow is all I can say. The water tastes great for purified water but the bottles are very weak. These bottles are so thin they almost bend in the middle. Im sure if I had just held it at an angle it probably would have bent in the middle.Smart & Final seriously look into this, I can hardly unscrew a bottle without squeezing water everywhere.

They didnt have what I was looking for but I found a couple things I needed for a great price.

So the people working there are nice and helpful. Negatives: the lanes are tiny and the frozen fruit was not stocked. I was personally shopping for someone else so I felt bad I couldnt fulfill their order. Also, all the carts were M.I.A. I had to go run and get a cart for an older lady who was in need.

Every time I come to this store its always clean and everyone for the most part is extremely customer service oriented. However Today I went through Gabrielle line and he has to be the most helpful, with such a great attitude.

Store was clean and remarkably well stocked for how busy they were (especially as its the day before Thanksgiving!)Minus a star because two items I needed were actually out of stock.However still four stars because the crew were friendly and helpful.They also worked very efficiently to keep the line moving - no long wait for checkout even though the line appeared long at first glance. Kudos for that!I will definitely be back.

Not crowded, cl an enough of a store. Have things scattered in their placement of items, was looking for a certain tea, found in 3 different areas

I love how clean it is. They have a large variety and pleasure to shop there.

Its always clean and their employees are always helpful. They dont really have deals but its a good place to buy in bulk or if were a quick trip. The lines move pretty fast even during the pandemic. I just wish all their holiday stuff was on sale after the holiday even the flowers.

I’ve been a customer from this location for the past 15 years and there’s not enough words for me to explain on how wonderful everyone that works there and polite is to us I want to think the manager name Tim last name unknown every time this guy sees me from a distance always has a smile and great energy and is always helpful so thank you Smart & Final for hiring such a terrific and fantastic team. I want to thank Tim for the bottom of my heart for doing and wonderful and an awesome job anytime you see this person in there he’s always got this great energy and has a smile for days so thank you Tim for always being there for us there’s not enough words for me to explain about this individual hundred percent A+ will always recommend my family and friends to go to this location.

Smart and Final has nice vegetables, and has convenient pre cut vegetables for when you just dont have the time. Prices are pretty good but 8have to know what you are looking for. They also have bulk items. Like containers for food prep for the whole week. Definitely a good place to shop.

Smart and Final is a great place to go grocery shopping. The employees are very courteous and helpful. The store has a great selection and good prices.

Tight isles, better prices than vons. Needs to be more vigilant on getting lined open to get people out faster. But I appreciate the products for the price.

Exceptionally well maintained store! An unhindered, good shopping experience. I just dont know how they managed to pack so many items and products on their shelves. But there they are. By the way, who thought to call that store, smart and final?

This particular store seemed like low on inventory, I usually shop at the one on Terranova, Always full(well stockede), one thing that I give them a 5 star the cashiers reacted quick to the huge lane and I only waited about 5 minutes

Surprise surprise I was able to get in and out within 20 minutes had I even had to ask for some help and there was someone there to help great job

Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices!!! Great deals ! I love how they stop what they are doing to help you find something. If they are busy or it’s not their section, they will go and find the right person for you. This happened twice and each time they didn’t forget about me. Exceptional customer service at this location. The cashier was super helpful too. I forgot my rewards and he reminded me. Great visit! Like always!

Havent been here for a while. Nice to see store back to normal always have what I need and pricing always a little less than other stores.

It is sort of like a smaller, faster warehouse store. You can get pretty much everything you need to cook your heart out.

Ok so as you walk in they have sanitizing wipes for your cart, the place is always clean. Items are well stocked and organized. I was able to get everything I needed, and employees are always willing to help you locate a item if you cant find it. Great beer and liquor section. Needless to say i got everything i needed for my pool party all in one stop.

The cashier at register 3 arround 11am on Sunday August 16 was too busy trying to open a personal ziplock bag of breath mint while she made me wait approximately 2 minutes before she started scanning my 3 cold gallons of milk and 2 cold gallons of orange juice and other stuff. I was ignored without any apology or anything.She did not smile nor was appreciative to my business as a customer.. it seems that she doesnt like her job or maybe she had a bad day. Oh well ! Customers are not suppose to notice any of that period.Other stores cashiers almost all the time will greed me with:Hi how are you, did you find everything that you are looking for ? and always show a smile.Not today at this smart & final in El Cajon on Broadway/ Fletcher Parkway..

Everybody is so organized and its really nice to go down there now better than Costco

Always has the cheese I like for a good price. The jumbo oven roasted chickens are also almost always available and for a good price per pound ratio(and of course delicious). Lines occasionally can be slow though the staff usually opens another register within a couple minutes. If you buy in bulk this is also a good place to go.

I went in for one loaf of bread and Gatorade. There was nobody in line so I stepped over the barrier. A very rude blond cashier literally yelled at me and told me I had to walk around the divider and ‘wait’ I pointed out that there was no one in line and she refused to check out my items until I obeyed. Will not return. You need to work on your customer service.

Have been shopping at S&F for quite a while and thought their prices were comparable to or better than most stores. However I am learning the price of items I buy frequently and found three items today that were a whole dollar higher than Sprouts. Store is well stocked and cashiers are fast and pleasant.

Great clean store... prices are little steep but the staff and the store is set up for easy shopping. Even during after work hours its not crowded or hectic and the staff is always happy to see you.

Very clean and friendly store. Always able to go in and out quickly for small trips. But i have came and the store was really packed and had really long lines. Staff worked quickly to shorten the lines and get customers out as quick as possible!!

Depends on the night you go usually their employees are on top of it and I have a good experience. Tonight letty & masara was there & letty waited to finish scanning 1 large order & then started with another XXXL order & got half way thru B4 she called someone up. Took her TOO long to even look up to see how many people were in line meanwhile four to five people were waiting. Finally a minute or so after being called for, Masara arrived & instead of just saying I can help the next person in line, she walked around the endcap (of the reg) behind the chip stand and the gum on that cash register to let ppl know that they could come to her register. Which seemed very odd because theres no way she could see how far they were into it loading, meanwhile I was standing there with just a basket with 3 ppl behind that she did not acknowledge. On top of that I witnessed a customer use a ladder to climb to the top and reach a case of soup which I of course had to then push out of my way to continue walking down the aisle. Only going to go there now when the professional and mom aloof ppl are there. Smh Ive worked at a grocery store and Ive never seen such a lack of common sense

S&F is my favorite grocery store hands down. They have a great selection, great prices and their house brand products are awesome. Plus you can buy everything in mini bulk where you dont need as much as what is offered at Costco but more than Vons. Perfect!

Excellent visit. Although the add said up to a 22 lb Turkey at 48 cents per pound with 25 dollar purchase, the allowed me to purchase a 23 lb Turkey for that price. Thank you Thor for getting manager approval. Smart and final in El Cajon is in the spirit of the holidays!!

This Smart and Final is always on their A game fully stocked inventory, faced shelves and swept floors. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is generaly friendly.

If you are looking for a in-between Costco and the normal grocery store then Smart & Final is a good place to come. Just check the ads because they can have good deals on certain items.

Not very pleased today I picked a carrot/celery combo and the checker couldnt get it to scan she went and picked up another one but the product was not good the carrots are slimy and the celery is going bad.

I really love this Smart Final it is always clean and has everthing you need and want I wish they had lower prices though lol I recommend it to everyone. Tony Anthony
